I highly recommend Savvy for any dog groomers out there looking for an easy to use system.

Inconvénients :

It can take a while to iron out the smaller problems and you dont alway know when/if it gets resolved.

Commentaires : Savvy's help and support is/has been fantastic. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] have all been a great help in getting us set up and importing our data (600+ customers and 800+ pets) and every question I have has been answered very quickly even outside business hours.
The community built around Savvy is an invaluable resource allowing you to get ideas off other people using the software as well as the fantastic support by Savvy themselves.

Avantages :

Savvy has a very clean well thought out interface that's very simple to use without compromising on features that its more establish competitors have. Appointment creation is very quick and automatically sends out sms & email notifications, which can be fully customised. We can have the calendar setup exactly how we want with the colors we want. Savvy is not plastered with over complex interface to incorporate additional features we don't want. None of them silly you can't do this without spending more money messages. There's no need for any goomer to look at any other software Savvy is the one.

Inconvénients :

Do I need to fill this box in?... ok then. The android app (Dont have iphone so couldn't tell you about that) appears to be a little behind with some of the newer features, however its a responsive webapp therefore just using your browser works perfectly, kinda makes me wonder why bother with an app. Savvy is currently very focused on grooming and does not currently offer daycare, boarding or kennel modules, however i'm pretty sure it could work for daycare and basic boarding if required. This is exactly why we love the software because it's not plastered with over complex interface to incorporate features we don't want.

Savvy is the business!

Commentaires : I will be using Savvy for the life of my business. I absolutely love it and recommend it to all my fellow groomers!

Avantages :

I love the detailed customer and pet information capabilities, ease of booking, and how easy it is to customize to suit my needs. I have almost no No-Shows thanks to the sms features. As a home based groomer, I was able to customize to send appointment details specific to my business, as well as an automated message with the address for new clients. All I have to do is hit one button and they get all the information they need. Reminders go out automatically the day before a scheduled appt but can be set to go out at any interval. I am a single home based groomer and this suits my needs perfectly with the least expensive tier, which is only $20 per month. The included monthly sms credits have always been plenty and I haven't needed to purchase extra. You can also customize and edit emails specific to your business and send them automatically to clients. Customer service has always been timely and are ALWAYS super nice to me and resolve any issues or answer any questions very quickly.

Inconvénients :

The only issue that I had, was that the company is based out of the UK and the default settings are not what are generally used in the US. I needed to update settings from BP to USD, appointment times in texts were listed in 24HR time, and the UK lists dates as DD/MM/YY instead of MM/DD/YY and I was worried it would be a bit confusing for clients. They were very helpful and fixed all the settings for me very quickly however. Again, their customer service has been wonderful. The time difference has never been a problem for communication.

Please do not waste your time on this system

Commentaires : I have lost all access to my gmail account due to this system, I tried to advise them when I first started out that the website was unresponsive while using on my phone so it was randomly creating appointments where they shouldn’t be and blocking out the wrong time, there are so may bugs in the system it’s is unbelievable and the customer service is awful, their answer to everything is to try and blame you for the system faults and have not intentions of fixing anything. They have a recurring booking which you can switch on when you first set up your initial booking, you can then create as many forward appointments as you like, when I tried to hit the create button it was not working, so I hit the create and confirm which then send out 12 email appointment confirmations in separate emails through my gmail account to my customer using the savvyspas email address as the sender not my gmail account address, this is a violation of google mail usage and is regarded as spamming, it’s also wrong, I am not savvy spa that’s not my business name it’s misleading, it’s trying to make all individual business look like there business name is savvy spa, it’s a violation of my brand. Why would you create a system function that would send out an email for each individual appointment? the rebooking function should not be there as a tool to force your customer to pre agree to a load of bookings, it’s supposed to be for the business owner to manage the diary slots in bulk, not manage the customer in bulk, you would only need the customer to agree to the appointment that is coming up, a logical system would then send the next appointment out on completion of the previous booking making life easier for the business owner. There is absolutely no reason to have the need for you client to pre confirm any appointment more than the one that is coming up and I was absolutely shocked this function even exited, could you imagen getting 12 emails from a business asking to to pre confirm all your appointments, especially from an email address that you had never heard of, my mind was blown, I advised them they needed to change this function so it won’t happen to any one else, their response was it was my fault because I hit the create and confirm button instead of the just create button, the create button was not working because it was unresponsive so I used the create and confirm button thinking it wound just create and confirm the initial booking not send out 12 emails that would be crazy, who in there right mind would want that function. So now none of my customers can contact me on my business email, if they do I just won’t see it and I do the majority of communication on this email, I have had to go through social media and my website to change my email address so any new customers will be able to contact me, I have a load of printed marketing and business cards out which have that email address on, it’s also my google business listing email which means if google do not reverse this restriction I will loose it all, I have been investing in google ads so this is going to be devastating to my business profile online and I will have lost a lot of money. The company don’t seem to care so if you are thinking about signing up to the software just to let you know, the app is not working. It’s redundant, using the website on your phone browser is unresponsive, it only works on desktop, beware of hidden functions that send out spammy emails to your customers using there company email as the sender, apparently you can go
and change the email to your own, why is that function even there ? What business wants someone else’s company name plastered as the sender on their company emails, just use the actual company’s email that they supply you with for all emails

Avantages :

Nothing the system is unresponsive on mobile and the app is not working

Inconvénients :

The system is unresponsive when using on your mobile through a browser and the app dose not work at all

Commentaires : My experience with Savvy Pet Spa has been fantastic. They are always on hand to help from early morning to late into the evening and nothing is too much trouble. I’m so pleased with their service and software that I have now ditched my old paper diary that I used to lug around with me everywhere and now I just take my iPad. It’s so much easier and all my information is at hand wherever I am.

Avantages :

This software is very easy to use. It’s laid out in a simple format so appointments are easy to create and view. If you can’t remember the customers name, no problem, you can look up the dogs name and all the information is there. Adding and amending information is super easy. I love the automatic SMS messages that are sent out to the customer once the appointment has been created and you can modify the messages to suit your business. Their customer service is exceptional. When I first joined I needed help getting started due to my own inabilities and I didn’t think anyone would be able to help at 19.30 in the evening but [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was there talking me through the set up. They take on board your suggestions of improvement or features you’d like added which could help other users and they implement them. They have a fantastic Facebook community where users can help each other and make suggestions to Savvy.

Inconvénients :

The software is a work in progress and they are adding new features all the time. Occasionally things can run a little slow or certain things stop working but as soon as you make them aware they get straight on to fix the issue.

Avantages :

The customer support. They are amazing at dealing with any issues and take on feedback to improve their software. The interface is very intuitive and I like that everything is customisable.

Crucial Software for groomers

Commentaires : It’s an essential tool for me ,i would not be able to keep track of my businesses without it , it helps me to create Bussiness using the tools they have included .
It’s a must for me.

Avantages :

This is great software , Im not particularly tech savvy, but Savvy are are they make it very simple and if you don't understand help is just a button click away.

Inconvénients :

Nothing the options are endless . So can be a bit overwhelming the thing i have fortune you just need to decide what you want it to do , and it will , then if you want something different it can do that to . You dont need to use everything

Changed the running of the salon

Commentaires : Amazing, the support team are amazing the time and energy they have put in to the company are amazing, with a facebook group meaning people are always trying to get in touch and someone is always there it's above and beyond most companies.

Avantages :

This system has changed for the better so many details. The salon runs so much more smoothly now from all the information on the dogs being at my fingertips to the automatic reminders that send out for every appointment made. Its continually evolving for the better. I'm practically paperless which is great not only for GDPR but cost wise and environmentally too. My phone rings less wich for a sole groomer is great to not get interruptions as people start to use e-mail as there standard way to contact me as I have set the system to send out most of my communications via e-mail.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I don't like is not having an offline copy of the appointments booked. But with a constantly connected society I can see how it's not really needed...

Great software love it

Commentaires : been using this for a month now, really enjoy it, keeps all reccords and prices etc in one please, online booking is good, savvy pay is ideal for taking deposits etc.

Avantages :

easy to use onve you get the hang of all the features and settings.

Inconvénients :

app isnt the best but just as easy to use a web browser on the phone or tablet

3 years of Savvy Pet Spa!

Commentaires : Overall Savvy has saved us a lot of time, kept us up to date as a business and able to provide features that other local groomers dont. Although its on the pricey side, we do believe its worth it. The only side that we can sometimes feel let down with is the customer service. This has a few times caused us to look at other service providers due to frustration.

Avantages :

The best features of this software are: 1. Online booking function - This has saved us as a business so much time allowing customers to pick and choose the dates/times. It has also allowed us to request an upfront 50% deposit which has dramatically reduced our late cancellations and no show rate. 2. The reminder emails and text messages are brilliant! 3. Customer and pet profiles - Building a profile for each customers allows to store all details, notes of grooms and appointments in one place which makes checking/updating so easy!

Inconvénients :

The features that we believe could be improved are:1. Help Chat Function/Customer service - The customer service over the last few years has been very on and off. Often, we can feel like the person on the other end has no idea what we are talking about, can offer little to no help, or advises they will come back to us and then we dont hear anything. Sometimes responses can be blunt or make us feel as if we dont know what we are talking about when we have used to system for over 2 years. When you get through to particular people they are AMAZING! But we find to get through to a more technical person we have to go through email. 2. Updates - The updates that are done in the background will sometimes amend a a feature with out us being aware its going to happen. This then causes issues in the middle of a working day that we just dont need! They also occur when you are in the middle of doing groom notes or booking an appointment meaning you have no choice but the press update and lose what you are doing. 3. The staff rota could be easier to use

Room for improvement but has excellent potentisl

Commentaires : overall I am still getting to grips with savvy, I cannot fault the customer service and I am pleased with many aspects but I do think there is room for improvement, more so from a general ease of use as a software itself - I don’t think there is much to
Improve on from the aspect of it being for pet groomers specifically

Avantages :

The customer service is excellent and very fast. The focus on pet grooming as its target market is very good and a lot of the things you can do such as “overdue grooms” and having pet info as well as client info sets it apart from broader softwares.

Inconvénients :

There are small things that could be improved to make it more user friendly or simpler. Sometimes I feel like I am having to do a few things to get what I want achieved instead of just the one to get straight there, meaning some options end up being more complicated than they need to be. The app is not as accessible as it should be it is easier to use the desktop view and therefore the app needs improvement and for you to be able to do more things on in such as client messages

Expensive & prices gone up massively/ No customer service.

Commentaires : Initially happy but now I dislike the company. I feel they are ripping people off and their customer service is non-existant.

Avantages :

When we set up it was good value. It's got function we wanted, managing appointments & sending text reminders.

Inconvénients :

No customer service; I complained a long time ago (on multiple occassions) and they ignored me. I had accidently bought a massive text package as it was in dollars (I clicked on it to find out what the conversion rate was) and there was no secondary purchase process and it took it directly from my account.I don't like the price, we are a small business. We are considering options with other cheaper companies however (as Savvy Pet know), it will be time consuming and difficult for us to manually transfer all our clients, dogs and appointments onto a new software. Hence they put the prices up whenever and however much they want.

The best all rounder

Commentaires : Always always always fantastic. Couldn’t ask for a better system.

Avantages :

Savvy literally does everything. From having the hardest working team behind it that help day or night. Savvy doesn’t just automatically send our appointment reminders as well as manage bookings. It is also our payment interface, our full communication system with customers and most importantly our accounting system for our accountants. It really is a complete all rounder.

Inconvénients :

The apps are currently being more closely developed however if I had to say anything the only con would be the apps are not as functional as the main system.

Thumbs up for Savvy

Avantages :

I’ve been using Savvy for almost 2 years now, and I couldn’t run my busy grooming salon without it! The text and email reminders have been a godsend for reducing no shows. Customers also seem to love them. It does everything on the admin side, contracts, policies, etc can all be sent and signed online. Customers can also book themselves which reduces time spent doing admin.

Inconvénients :

It can be quite complicated as there are so many features, but once you have learnt everything it is a peace of cake.

Commentaires : Absolutely love Savvy, it's made my job a million times easier and even with some improvements being needed, they are always updating and listening to their customers. Customer service is second to none, incredible! I will always highly recommend Savvy.

Avantages :

The ease of booking in clients is equal to the automatic reminder features as the thing I like most about Savvy. However, I also like how detailed the communication can be and how the workflow buttons make it easy with one click. Fast, reliable and efficient!

Inconvénients :

The Sms isn't fully compatible in NZ and neither is the Savvy Pay option. I would like to be able to utilise these features to really feel like I'm getting every bang for my buck.

this software has made the daily running of my buisness so much easier. with its amazing features such as appointmenr reminder messaging, online booking, website, payment record keeping its just so simple and easy to use but most of all does what it says it will and is forever updating and bringing in new features

Inconvénients :

nothing it is amazing, the only thing i wished it had was customer support available during australian hours but thats a small thing and always have any issues rectified fast

Thanks Hope, that's great to hear. I'm sure we'll expand out our support our still further, we currently over 12 hrs a day Monday to Friday and also cover weekend, but it would be great to extend support further to Australia and New Zealand.

Commentaires : I have almost completely eliminated no-shows. They were costing me at least one appt a week or approx £4K a year.

Avantages :

The fresh team behind it, who bend over backwards to help you if you get stuck or are not particularly technology-minded.

Inconvénients :

I'd like to be able to drag and drop appointments, I believe this is in the pipeline

Amazing and very necessary service

Commentaires : It is great. It has transformed my business

Avantages :

This program fulfills a position in my company that I would have had to hire out. It takes away the stress of scheduling, booking, calling to confirm appointments, and everything else that comes with being a solo pet groomer. It has reduced my no shows down to nearly 0, and gives my clients ample reminder time for their appointments.

Inconvénients :

I don't like how glitchy the companion apps are. They are rudimentary, hard to use, and do not actually create new customers when you are away from the computer and need to use the app instead.

Commentaires : I couldnt run my salon without savvy, being able to be out and about and have access and there customer service is the best... i would not change

Avantages :

I love the Automtic reminders as they save me so much time and have reduced my no shows by 100%... couldnt be without it

Inconvénients :

To be honest there is nothing that i least like.

Great booking system

Avantages :

I have used savvy for a number of years and always been impressed with its ease of use and how streamlined it is. It is constantly being made better and more agile as a system. Definitively one of the best business decisions I've made switching from my paper diary to this one.

Inconvénients :

There isn't anything i dislike. Every feature is useful

Commentaires : I have tried Savvy Pet in the past. During the pandemic I cancelled my subscription and when I could afford a program again I tried 2 others but nothing is as good as this one!

Avantages :

Easy to create customer and update their information, keeping notes about each appointment and very functional. Very easy to use and doesn't take a ton of time to learn it. Excellent customer service

Inconvénients :

Not easy to use in 2 way messaging. I wish I could also send reminders when I wanted instead of just be send automatically.

Commentaires : Very good experience. Had a few problems on the way but the team sorted them our very quickly.

Avantages :

Its so easy to use, and makes you look more professional

Inconvénients :

Should be more options on what you can have on your website.

Avantages :

The team are so helpful, the reminders it sends out to customers, the online booking and website are extremely professional

Inconvénients :
