Commentaires : ThankView helps us to reach out to a lot of people in a meaningful way by optimizing the automation that the software provides us. Its best feature by far is the birthday email; with a monthly upload, we can ensure that everyone in our database who wants to receive email gets a personalized touch on their birthday without more than 20 minutes spent each month to get the data ready to go and uploaded to the platform. It helps us to get in front of our constituency in a celebratory way at least once a year, regardless of how they choose to connect with us. It's also been a great tool to share a quick thank you from a real human--either one that they recognize or a student they'll appreciate hearing from--in just a couple minutes without the coordination of multiple schedules or travel needs.

Avantages :

I appreciate how user-friendly ThankView is as a platform. It is easy to onboard a new employee (fulltime staff or student) to use it, and the customer service team is second-to-none in their eagerness to assist and willingness to provide additional resources or strong examples that others have used. I get new ideas all the time from the samples that are shared, and it is so rewarding to get feedback from folks that we've sent videos to about how excited they are to hear from a student/campus/university figure/etc. about the things going on or their gift. It's been a really meaningful platform for us to focusing on THANKING rather than ASKING.

Inconvénients :

The cost of the platform can be prohibitive for some mid-size organizations, but I really think that the value-add is going to be worthwhile as a stewardship tool for organizations that do fundraising. It's a great tool to make a big impact on people with just a little effort on behalf of your team.

ThankView Makes a Difference in Marketing & Fundraising

Avantages :

We use ThankView video emails as part of our recruitment program. We send emails to our database alerting them to Open Houses. We also send Thank You for attending open house videos. We also use ThankView to send invitations to our fundraising gala, and we use it for for Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday we send out grade-specific emails encouraging donations. We also send out personalized thank you videos with students recording a video especially for their parents. We have received great feedback on the videos.

Inconvénients :

It is hard to come up with a con. I've been pleased with customer service. When I have had a question in the past, the response has been quick.

I like the ease of use. Very easy to figure out functionality, add contacts, create videos, etc.

It is really expensive for a small non-profit. Definitely have to make lots of use of it to make up for the cost.

Commentaires : I have been using ThankView for donor stewardship and recognition. It has been so easy to learn and use. I use this tool weekly as a way to thank new donors and at other times to keep donors informed about what we are doing.

Nothing - I have found that ThankView is very easy to use and the support is great!

Features are amazing

Avantages :

I love to see the features before and after emails are sent. I enjoy learning about individual campaigns and all campaigns. Thankview allows you to see everything about the contacts you sent an email to and it's great data.

Inconvénients :

All videos are saved in Thankview once someone records it and that creates a large library. Also, it can be hard to search the library because videos aren't saved with a specific title.

Trying to figure out how to use things by using the resource center. I usually end up asking our rep and she sends me the link to what I am looking for.

User-friendly, Fun, and Interactive Product

Avantages :

ThankView is a user-friendly platform I employed to record student messages for our annual solicitations and send donor thank-you videos. It's s fun and personal way to thank donors and engage them with their scholarship recipients. ThankView has a selection of tutorials for each user group and their academy courses. Learning to create and personalize landing pages and record, upload, and edit videos is easy. And, if someone is stuck, there is a handy chat box to reach for help! I've been using ThankView for three years and loving it! Thank the ThankView team for their fun, interactive platform, and excellent customer service.

Inconvénients :

It takes a while to send test videos during work hours. It could be due to many logging in at the same time.

ThankView is a unique & effective stewardship tool.

Avantages :

User-friendly tools to make basic edits to video. Tools for requesting videos from recorders is amazing -- includes panel for them to see script you've written while they record. Built it into standardized stewardship practices for groups like first-time donors and event-acquired donors, and it's been very successful to put a face to the name and deepen new relationships prior to an in-person visit.

Inconvénients :

The gif feature needs to be improved so that you can pick from more than just the first few seconds of the video. The auto-captioning feature is very glitchy.

ThankView.....AMAZING

Avantages :

I love the ease of use and the customer service. We are new to ThankView but in under 6 months, we have sent out at least 75,000 ThankView emails. We have sent anything from automated birthday messages to holiday greetings, email solicitations, and general outreach. It's the first place we turn to when connecting with parents and alumni.

Inconvénients :

I wish you could have one major list that does not change core info upon loading a new list that may contain the same contacts.

Avantages :

ThankView is quick, simple and user-friendly. I often suggest using ThankView in the specialty campaigns I manage to add an extra layer of engagement and personalization. We have seen many great responses and feedback from utilizing this platform to reach our donors.

Inconvénients :

I wish there were a way to maintain data in ThankView even if records need to be deleted after a campaign.

The issues have been resolved with updated annual features such as data integration with our donorbase. i would like to see more customization for data points for capturing 1st time donors.

Easy to use and impactful video tool

Commentaires : We wanted to increase the amount of personalized stewardship that our team sends without increasing the number of staff. ThankView has allowed us to use video at scale, sending personalized touches to many people with a small investment of time.

Avantages :

ThankView is simple to use - the website walks you through the steps to creating a successful video landing page and makes it difficult to mess up. I love the ability to create custom landing pages with different imagery depending on the focus of the video. I also appreciate how easy it is to use a single video to send personalized communication to many people. Even if we don't say an individual's name in the video itself, the ability to include their name in the email and on the landing page makes it feel truly personalized. I also love that we can have users record videos directly in the ThankView system, which makes it easy to add them to landing pages.

Inconvénients :

I find the system very intuitive on the whole. I did experience a small learning curve in understanding where within the system I can create branded landing pages and envelopes outside of creating them within a campaign, but that was easy to overcome.

TV for Donor Stewardship

Commentaires : Our donors seem to welcome this approach for communicating with them. It's different, and our open rate is better than an email.

Avantages :

I like the video tool versus a phone message or email to communicate thanks or news from our university.

Inconvénients :

Trying to coordinate the intro and outro can sometimes be confusing. Before I know it, I am at the point of the process where I send my messages.

It can be difficult to add new recipients to a current campaign since you have to click through the whole process again, but after a few times, you get used to it.

Commentaires : We use ThankView for fundraising, alumni engagement (inviting them to events, sending updates, etc.), and improving our team's culture. We might use ThankView a little too much, hehe. The [SENSITIVE CONTENT] of our Foundation sent individual thank you videos to each staff member during the pandemic to boost morale. We also have received so much good feedback about personalized videos that we couldn't go back to how we were before. ThankView has absolutely changed how we communicate with our constituents for the better. We would be lost without you, ThankView.

Avantages :

ThankView is by far our most favorite software. The ease and user-friendliness of the platform is absolutely unbeatable in our eyes and 1,000% worth the investment. The reporting and analytics also blow other platforms out of the water, I WISH we could use ThankView for all of our communications.

Inconvénients :

I wish you could both text and email in a single campaign, but that is something very minor and doesn't negatively impact my experience with ThankView.

ThankView is a go-to Stewardship tool for our organization

Commentaires : We have been using ThankView for many years now and have found it easy to use. From our annual Days of Giving to donor birthdays to check-ins during the height of the pandemic, we were always trying to come up with new ways to connect with our donors, and ThankView was a huge way we did that. It's always what I suggest when looking for new opportunities!

Avantages :

ThankView is the easiest, quickest way to acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries, pledge completions, scholarship thank you's...the list keeps growing each day as we find a different use. We have found that most users easily adapt to the website and can send their own ThankViews with ease.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the analytics can be hard to navigate. But once you figure it out, you can easily see the open rates, watch rates, and other important stats that you value when creating content and seeing if what you are doing is worth your time.

Expanding Thankview's market

Commentaires : We are building relationships and celebrating life events with our customers and prospects with customized videos. Our team adoption has been a little slow but a few power users are really seeing the benefits of sending videos and being efficient with their time.

Avantages :

Our team liked how easy it was for our sales representatives to send relationship building videos to their customers or prospects. The impact we have received from recipients has been outstanding. They are impressed with our technical know-how. Little do they know how easy it is to do.

Inconvénients :

Holiday theme templates seem to be a little "unprofessional" feeling for business-to-business communications. Library organization is a little cumbersome.

Great donor relations tool

Commentaires : It has been great so far--I've received the help I need when I need it, can communicate effectively with a large donor base, and have received great feedback from stakeholders on our videos

Avantages :

I like that I can send personalized messages and cute add on videos to donors as a thank-you.

Inconvénients :

I didn't like figuring out the difference between contacts and lists at first, and an add-on video vs a recording.

ThankView is a valuable tool to support all stages of our fundraising!

Commentaires : ThankView was a blessing to us during the pandemic lockdown - it allowed us to make personal connections with our current families, alums, and even our colleagues, via video when we could not hold meetings in person. We were able to check in with donors, continue to cultivate relationships, and even solicit gifts during that time. We found this to be very important to our older constituents who were often isolated.

Avantages :

Not only is ThankView user-friendly and quite intuitive, but it is also fun to use! Our messages on this platform are well received by our constituents as evidenced by our significant open- and click-through rates. ThankView has supported the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of our donors in a unique way that stands apart from an email or printed letter.

Inconvénients :

We truly love ThankView and are working to use it to its fullest. We have not identified anything that we wanted to do that we could not implement.
