Avantages :

The customer service is very helpful. We have found this online phone system a major upgrade from our last provider.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes while programming it kicks me out for no reason. But this issue is being addressed.

Outstanding Quality and Service

Commentaires : Out previous provider had considerably raised their price, thus we wanted to migrate to a new solution. As we offer 24x7 support, we needed a solution, that could keep up with our requirements. We are completely satisfied with Intermedia Unite as well as with the interactions we had with Intermedia's staff.

Avantages :

The Hardware Phone and Softclient have an outstanding availability and quality of service, no matter whether the user works in the office, at home or on Hotel or Airport Wifi. The Administrative interface is easy to use and the combination of toll-free and local numbers give a professional appearance. The quality of the voice mail is great, and the delivery by E-Mail quick and reliable.

Inconvénients :

The integration with different Identity Management Systems for a single point of administration environment could be better. Other systems have more comprehensive group call and conference features.

Commentaires : I am so pleased. Everyone in the office appreciates the functionality of the product, especially now that we are 'remoting' more and more. The ability to video conference on the fly is a lifesaver for our team; we can get our work done -- but stay 'connected' a bit more than just a traditional phone.

Avantages :

The best thing for us was implementing this just before the pandemic hit. We needed better unified communications and hosted phones for our team. The Intermedia onramp team was awesome, we had a single rep guiding us along -- which helped the consistency of the process. The setup was easier than we expected, the software easy to use once setup properly -- and it saves us $$$ every month.

Inconvénients :

The support, although seldom required -- can be a bit slow. Granted -- when you have trouble with your phones you want immediate help. The key, however -- is that when help is reached -- they seem to get us fixed-up in a jiffy.

Good software for a small business

Commentaires : Overall, Intermedia Unite is a good system at a fair price for small businesses. We like its versatility.

Avantages :

Our company has 24/7 phone service, but with staffing issues, this has been a challenge. With Intermedia Unite, we were able to set up an answering system for after hours that still gives the caller an option to reach a live dispatcher if the issue is urgent. Our remote staff is able to use their mobile phone to receive, make and transfer calls from our main number. We love the fact that we can have voicemails transcribed and sent via email.

Inconvénients :

The system can be complicated to utilize and we do have a fair number of calls that have poor connection or cut in and out. I wish that our automated alerts for wake-up calls would work with the after-hours service that we have set up.

Commentaires : Initially I got valid, correct answers from Sales. My billing is consistent and accurate. I had one question about billing and got an immediate, understandable answer. When the service became live it worked. It was an easy transition. No emails were missing. My team was happy. And the spam, and hacks are so much less. It's amazing.

Avantages :

The interface, for the most part, works. Much better than Microsoft's 365 portal. And everyone speaks English!! And calls me back!!!

Inconvénients :

The passwords. Every time I use the portal I have to change my password. The login screen doesn't look at the username; instead it inserts a random user's credentials. After that it is not possible to reuse previous passwords. This happens to my entire team.

Commentaires : I have had extreme good luck with the customer support I received. All of the agents I have talked to have been very knowledgeable and easy to understand.

The ease of which you navigate the website

Commentaires : We have havd this system for some time now, and I have not had an issue that required a service technician on site. Now that I think about it, I haven't had an issue.

Avantages :

The one feature that I like the most about this software is that is user friendly, but more importantly reliable.

Inconvénients :

I can't find anything that I do't like about this software.

How mobile and convenient it is. Offers so many components beside a reliable phone service. I can be in and out of the office remotely!

Great phone system, horrible website

Avantages :

The phones work great, no problems working phone system, except the call history does not show up on the phone so you have to log in to the website to get a call history which is a real waste of time..

Inconvénients :

Logging in to the Intermedia website is ridiculously slow, especially in light of the fact that Intermedia is a large communications company. Getting a call history incoming and outgoing are two separate functions and not at all efficient uses of time. I have wasted many hours on Intermedia website needlessly.

Avantages :

Month to Month contracting was a huge selling point although once you start using both Unite and the other Intermedia business tools you will never want to switch. I have been using SecuriSync, MS Exchange and MS Office from Intermedia for years and I don't see that changing.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes its hard to get the right person on the Support line but that's a problem with any service provider. other than that I cant think of anything I don't like.

Commentaires : We are solving the issues or backup, data retention, data availability and a host of issues with archiving and medical industry security that is very important to our customers.

Avantages :

Since joining up with Intermedia, our product suite has multiplied as a result of the cloud services that are available to us. Our management tools for customers are first rate and we have the potential to continue growing based solely on the products and services provided by Intermedia. I believe this is the way for small MSPs to continue to provide services and partner with giant in cloud, data and communications expertise in the cloud. You cannot go wrong here.

Inconvénients :

We do not have any cons at this time as the software has been one of the best for what we need.

Commentaires : More control and the information are always available. Great onboarding setup and support

Avantages :

The product is very easy to use; provides many options and benefits unlike the typical phone system. I have had excellent tech support especially when we moved, Intermedia made sure the system was working to its full potential. Customer service is also excellent. Shold have purchased this system years ago

Inconvénients :

The voice message is hard to understand at times. It would be nice to have the verbiage for the respectful industry, so the message makes sense when it's played back

Solid communications provider with stellar support.

Commentaires : We are a reseller of unified communications solutions for business. Intermedia's ready and immediate answers to all of our support questions make us look good and make it much more enjoyable for us to provide top-notch service to our customers.

Avantages :

We love Intermedia Unite because of its power and flexibility, we well as its reliability. The desk phones function perfectly and have great call quality, along with an extensive suite of standard features. Advanced programming allows us to streamline the customer experience even further. And to make it even better, Intermedia support far surpasses our previous two unified communications providers.

Inconvénients :

There are times when cellular data quality or Wi-Fi quality prevents ideal calls, but this is not unique to Intermedia and is a problem common to all VOIP providers.

By the way, your survey should include "Consulting" as a industry. As professional technical consultants we actually work in "all' of the categories you listed. I selected architectural / engineering because I could not complete the survey until I made a selection. This selection was because our work typically includes some of this category, but certainly not all.

Inconvénients :

I have no "cons' and really find irrating that I can't take this survey unless I type something in your box. How about having an selection such as "N/A."??

Software does all you need and so much more!

Commentaires : The software is great and the customer service & support offered by Intermedia is second to none. They have real people with real knowledge available within moments of calling to walk you through any issue you might have. It is a pleasure working with them.

Avantages :

I love being able to have voice mails transcribed and sent to my email, I never miss a name or digit in a phone number. The website is fairly easy to use to customize everything from the greeting to our billing. It's almost TOO much for our purposes, but the price is fantastic for the services, so I would recommend to anyone!

Inconvénients :

There are quite a lot of features, almost too many for my purposes. It's easy to be slightly overwhelmed at customizing the software for your specific business.

Easy To Use Efficient Systems For Busy People

Commentaires : I have to travel to multiple offices and the flexibility of the services to al most be in two places at once. It has really taken a lot worry out of servicing existing clients while travelling.

Avantages :

I like the fact that I can be in several different locations and have real access to clients. As well, I can access my messages in either voice or transcriptions over any device.

Inconvénients :

I really can't think of anything I don't like about the service.

Commentaires : What few questions or problems were handled quickly by Intermedia staff, or the local installer techs.

Avantages :

The installing company added the Intermedia products, switched out the analog phones to Voip phones and had us running in a very short time, with minimal down time.

Commentaires : Transitioning from landline to VOIP was seamless and easy.

Avantages :

Flexibility with the software is great. I can talk from my office or on the go. Setup was easy and intuitive. Customer support was GREAT. They kept working on the issue(s) until they were completely resolved. Very pleased with customer support.

Inconvénients :

VOIP connections periodically drop voice packets.

Avantages :

My preset features for the phone systems periodically not functioning, need to contact the customer care to restore it.

Commentaires : Exceptional support staff and it is so easy to add or remove service. At times it is difficult to find what you are looking for in the help database but the support is just a call away if needed.

Avantages :

The ease of use and the availability of having both phone and office software available in one location.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the quality of the phone connection is dependent on the internet quality at any given moment. This is not a reflection on the phone itself.

Perfect for small business

Avantages :

The time invested for the initial set up was minimal and I received the support needed to customize my product for my business. The monthly cost is well within my budget and the ability for the system to grow with my business was hands down the biggest deciding factor.

Inconvénients :

No real cons with the system. The system is very robust so I do need support when customizing but the support is always there.

Commentaires : Have been using Intermedia for several years with little to no problems. Customer service is great for the limited times we needed it.

Avantages :

Ease of switching over to cell phone (app) for answering phones

Inconvénients :

No issues at this time. Easy to set-up. My only issue is that we do not have time to look into all the features that we are missing out on
