Commentaires : Overall our experience has been positive, of course there have been some hiccups here and there but the team at Alleva has been responsive overall to my feedback. The system has great potential and is fairly new, there are some tweaks with its general core functions that could be refined, but overall it's one of the better softwares we have used, with a wide range of options akin to Kipu. It is a little more on the expensive side, but undercuts the competition by about 30-50% depending.

Inconvénients :

Commentaires : [sensitive content hidden] have been absolutely incredible to work with and have given so much time and patience to our issues. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about the product and a pleasure to work with. [sensitive content hidden], in particular, goes above and beyond to make sure that we can function as a facility when things go awry. This has included building forms for us on an airplane while he flew to another account. He is a valuable asset to the success of your product.

Avantages :

It is conceptually a good product and has a pleasing aesthetic

Inconvénients :

I have spent an incredible amount of time building custom forms and intakes that have inevitably broken and had to be rebuilt several times causing massive data losses. The UR module is under developed and begs the input from URs to make it more functional to the department.

The BEST EMR/EHR on the Market!

The system is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for me and my staff to navigate. The integration with other tools has also been seamless, and the support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we've needed them. Overall, Alleva EMR has increased our efficiency and productivity, allowing us to focus on what matters most - providing quality patient care. Highly recommend!

The customizable templates have streamlined our workflow, and the robust reporting features have improved our ability to track patient outcomes.

Inconvénients :

It used to have some hiccups but recently the new updates have been great!

Ease of use---This platform is easy to use for my needs. The calendar/scheduler is what I work off of more than the Tasks section. From section to section, the workflow for me is rather easy and uncomplicated.

Options and lack of versatility (which more options may be coming).

Avantages :

Ease of use. This is my first go-around with computer systems in my life. I was going to retire, but now, I am finding the knowledge to be very important in my life.

Inconvénients :

Freezes up from time to time. There was one time that the system crashed for a couple of days

It's good but room for improvement.

Commentaires : It's complicated at first but when you get the hang of it is real smooth.

Avantages :

It explains allot in alleva university in the tutorials.

Inconvénients :

In the explanation of videos would be better if interacted with the tutorial as in doing the actual work in the videos.

Commentaires : Positive. Great customer service and great software as a whole. It is missing just a few key features/changes to go from 4 stars to 5 stars.

Avantages :

Majority of EHR's are archaic and outdated where you're fighting the system more than helping your clients. I appreciate that Alleva feels fresh and modern.

Inconvénients :

You can store your data in the system, but if you want to evaluate your data in the slightest it means you have to pay a LOT of extra money for that ability. There should be free tiers where you can dump your data so you can evaluate yourself, instead of having to pay money just to access your data to see some graphs.

Alleva Review

Commentaires : Overall poor. Searching for information is challenging. There are aspects of the system that seem to have been added with the intent of making charting easier, but are inappropriate to have in the system. eg. hypertensive, etc. in VS. The flow of the VS page is different than how nurses' are used to reading them. There is an order to how we document.

Avantages :

To be completely honest, there is not one aspect of Alleva that I like in comparison with other EMRs I have used.

Inconvénients :

I don't like that the prescription module and chart module do not integrate. When I am in one patient's prescription module, the chart patient does not change to reflect the prescription patient. Also our safety checks do not auto populate based on times due. I have sent several email help desk requests if anyone is interested in reviewing using my email.

Alleva Review

Avantages :

The customer service is the best attribute to this software by far. The team at Alleva is always happy to help us in learning how to use their product and tailor the product itself to suit our needs.

Inconvénients :

Due to the complexity of the software, it has taken a significant amount of time to train our staff in using it correctly, but that is not an inherent flaw with the service, just a hurdle we are overcoming with time.

Commentaires : In regards to just an EMR it’s good.

Avantages :

Intake through discharge can be tracked well. Forms can be accessed easily. Calendar is easy to use. Staff is fun to talk to.

Inconvénients :

There is no archive for pre admissions. No CMR. Difficult to gather data for RCM.

Do NOT BUY!

Avantages :

There's nothing that I really enjoy about this system. We transitioned over from KIPU a few months ago and every since then, we have had nothing but challenges. You'll have some kids come out from Orange County to setup your system, walk in with wrinkled shirts, like they just rolled out of bed, with no agenda or plan as to what they plan to do or how to make the process go smoothly. They'll promise you the world and then bail when you ask for help. You can customize a lot but it's not worth it when everything is not functionating.

Inconvénients :

We had challenges from day 1. The system is down at least once a week for over an hour. You can't search in the system very well. We literally could not order RXs for days and received no assistances. We have a team over 50+ people and everyone has complained about this system - not a single one is happy that we moved over.

Commentaires : Poor. It is frustrating to have the system glitch multiple times a shift - screens not populating with data already entered, at least daily a message saying there is a loading error. Have to logout and log back in. When you are trying to get meds to 60 people and you have to keep doing this - its annoying.

Avantages :

The best I can say about Alleva is that it is serviceable. I am not a fan of the system.

Inconvénients :

It is difficult to teach new people how to navigate around Alleva. Whoever put together the program does not seem to have had any medical background. For instance, the screen that you record vital signs to has no logic to where the data appears. It is not user friendly to have blood pressure in one corner, pulse in a different spot, temperature somewhere else. The screens definitely need streamlining. The number of steps it takes to order and print lab requisitons is ridiculous. I wrote the instructions out for other people's use and I filled a page and a half with step-by-step process - and I printed small.

From a Clinical Director's Perspective

Commentaires : Overall, I think Alleva meets our needs and when it's not the support team is there for me when we need to make adjustments or to answer questions.

Avantages :

What I love about this software is how easy is it to complete my clinical documentation. The templates are perfect, especially for progress notes and I love that the Alleva team has worked with us to tailor/ improve it to make it even more user friendly. I came from an agency that used all paper so I just love that we even have an electronic medical records. As an administrator, it is very easy to audit my staff's charts.

Inconvénients :

The thing I like the least is the calendar. It is so difficult to see openings when looking at it with all the staff's schedule's together. Sometimes I need to add an appointment from my phone which can be very challenging at times and I tend to make errors or accidentally move appointments. I am also a little overwhelmed with the reports section. It is not easy to figure out how to run a report on data I need. I did however ask for help with this and Alleva has agreed to set up a training with me.

Commentaires : Overall 9 out of 10 I would give it a 10 out of 10 if it wasn’t for the glitches, even though they are a few and far apart.

Avantages :

The thing I like most about Alleva is that you can customize it without changing the functionality of the program. The software is very organized and very user-friendly. Also, [sensitive content hidden] assisted us with set up, and he was very professional, responded in a timely manner, and played a huge role in allowing us to become certified three days after purchasing the software.

Inconvénients :

Every once in a while, there are a few glitches. I have pointed them out with our customer. Care representative.

SUD vs Primary Care

Commentaires : Overall good for a mixed MH/SUD/Prim care practice. If more of MH and SUD, I'd rec it.

Avantages :

Good EHR for SUD and MH. My fellow MH and SUD staff seems to use it easily. They mostly use free text.

Inconvénients :

Primary care with any volume has to have templates and more established structure to use Alleva. Support will make templates, but changing and tweaking them isnt easy

An Overview of Usage

Commentaires : Overall usage has been great. It was an easy switch after understanding the database.

Avantages :

Pros: 1. The look of Alleva is welcoming. 2. Being able to customize it for what we do is extremely helpful.

Inconvénients :

Cons: 1. Has bugs often. 2. Does not record notes even after saving notes multiple times. 3. Kicks you out of login.

Efficient and Reliable

Avantages :

I like that everything is in one place and everything is self explanatory once you know what you are looking for.

Inconvénients :

When looking into the clients name, the documents will not pull up in order and i would have to refresh the page then go back to the documents. I alsop dont that that it would restart the entire chart when going back to the original window.

Solid EMR for SU Facility

Easy to use

Commentaires : Overall once you get used to Aleva it is easy to use and most of the time runs smoothly.

Avantages :

Alleva is user friendly. I especially like that as a supervisor and someone that has to sign off on many documents, I can sign them all with one click and my pin.

Inconvénients :

There are some glitches at times. Also it seems that it does a reset at times and things we had Alleva change for us reverts to the original way.

User friendly

Avantages :

Easy to navigate and train new staff members. I also like Alleva University. I think the ability to use the training to learn more is very helpful.

Inconvénients :

This is the only EMR I have used. There seem to be some instances where things do not save or load during certain times of the day that can be really frustrating. Those instances are really few and far between.
