Blynk est une application très simple a utilisé et grâce a elle j'ai pu facilement créer une application de commande de projet arduino via bluetooth et via wifi, avec un gain de temps considérable et une simplicité aveuglante.

Inconvénients :

Le fait que blynk est parfois des publicités en version gratuite rend un peu l'application touffu et ralentis des fois le travaille

Commentaires : I appreciate the simplicity of creating a small project and then having an app as a controller for any home automation project. It's one of the few apps where I would actually pay money for.

Avantages :

The software is super easy to use. It's compatible with Arduino, raspberry pi, and tons of other cheap micro-controllers that make home automation a breeze. Very little coding is required, and you can get a system up and running in no time. The community is great and very helpful with troubleshooting and they really care about your opinions and suggestions. Highly recommend to anyone, beginners or experts!

Inconvénients :

There was a little bit of a learning curve with specific widgets that may not seem straight forward, but the examples online are very helpful.

Best app for IoT

Commentaires : Use as main app for my IoT devices. It was really the simplest to integrate and put my designs to run quickly with stability.

We can connect our IoT sensors and modules using this free Android software, which is available to everyone. The user experience is excellent, and the user interface is engaging. It often releases new upgrades and additions to improve the functionality of its program. Even a complete novice may use the platform's no-code method to quickly grasp IoT. Data visualization on a dashboard is useful during the product development and design phases. No one can avoid using this app since it is so all-consuming. Its online offerings are much superior to those of its rivals in this market. Additionally, firmware configuration is simple to manage thanks to the WiFi provisioning procedure.

Inconvénients :

For users of mobile apps, the notice also looks to be overly delayed. It should be enhanced in a variety of ways. Complex use cases might not be produced with a no-code technique, requiring more development work. It seems that the technology can be difficult for inexperienced integrators. It has been noted that the user receives Blynk Software notifications with a delay. I also like having gadgets that can be organized into groups based on their functions so that I can manage them all at once.

Good Supporting software for IoT Project

Commentaires : Overall, I have good experience with this IoT software. I did my project greatly and received rewards from my lecture. in spite of having some errors that I couldn't fix unless the developer does. But generally I have very nice and great experience with this software. I still use it until now to build other IoT Projects

Blynk is a friendly-user software for IoT project. I did my final project related to IoT monitoring system and I used Blynk to help it work. it is easy to use and is not complicated. All widgets provided was very clear and I have all I need there. Thanks to the developer for making such a great and easy software for IoT

Inconvénients :

I had one problem when I did my project. it was when I used bluetooth HC05 as a wireless connector between My arduino and blynk. at that time HC05 could not be used because blynk is under development for this widgets only. I couldn't switch to Wifi because I don't have it at home. so I used bluetooth module. Hopefully now the developer will make some developments on every widget available in Blynk.

Blynk make IoT easier!

Commentaires : I like the plenty examples you get from internet, also, the many plugins that are available are awesome. I use it for home purposes on my DIY hobby, but I don't see any problem for a productive use. It can be very reliable if you do it correctly.

Avantages :

Blynk is a nice platform to join many pieces of software and hardware into a simple interface. Your imagination is the limit (it can be above the sky). As a DIY enthusiast, I loved Blynk! You can connect your Arduino, Raspberry and much other development boards to an Android application, you can use Python, C, or anything to create an interface, its flexible! I made my home aquarium connected to my phone, computer and even my car, also, some of my home lights are controlled by the same network, so I can control them from anywhere in the world. Oh, the Christmas lights are there too. Merry Christmas!

Inconvénients :

Nothing yet. Maybe at the beginning (I started using this at least 3 years ago) the documentation was hard to understand and the examples didn't help. Maybe that was fault of my learning curve, not the platform itself. But today is really easy to use and there are many plugins to it. So that is not really a con.

Best in Class for (IoT) Internet of Things

The community support and documentation is super useful. 4. The coding structure is easy to understand and the change in hardware does not involve a major change in the underlying Blynk code. 5. Server side programming is available.(changing pins on the app allows to gather and send data at different pins without the need to add it to the code) 6. Worth every penny!

Inconvénients :

1. I believe that the cost of custom app development can be reduced specially for the individual needs. 2. The team can think from an education perspective so as to bring Blynk easily in IoT training.

Commentaires : We used the Blynk app and its service to develop a small POC of an IoT-based project. We used Arduino and NodeMCU together to develop the application interface and it was an awesome experience. It saves a lot of time in developing a native android app in the ideation stage.

With Blynk your IoT projects and solutions are only limited by your imagination.You will get to love the product! For a small team you get a bloody amazing product! Thanks to them, I can now put out projects and solutions that not only look great but also work great making me look great. Now that works for me!

Blynk can either be run on a standalone Server or on the Blynk Web server. The product works great!! Versatile, intuitive, creative - those are just some of the many great features of the product. For a small team of developers, running on a small budget, you get an amazing product. With Blynk and Arduino, knowing nothing about electronics, you can create the most amazing projects thanks to the creative minds of the Blynk Team. Their customer support is excellent, but what is even more amazing is the international Blynk support from Blynk users. What an amazing experience!! Blynk offers the common folk the chance to learn about electronics and become creative and to participate in world previously destined for those with an electronic / electrical background and/or education. I do not use any other product except for Blynk - no need to bother looking for anything else because it is all there.

* Pricing is a little high in my opinion, especially in countries where the dollar exchange rate is poor ! Many IoT users will consider pricing over product. * Customizing controls could be more versatile. * A Web interface where code could be generated for the use of controls to help noobs (like me) not suffer from figuring out the code - very much like http://easycoding.tn/tuniot/demos/code/. * MySQL database interaction would be a great advantage instead the default PostGreSQL database.

Easiest IoT Out There

Avantages :

This app was absolutely the easiest IoT setup I've ever been through. I've used it multiple times with my esp8266's to setup up rbg controllable lights that I can share with friends. Their arduino library couldn't be simpler to implement and comes with great documentation and a multitude of examples for each type of device. All I needed was an autogenerated key string at the top of my code to connect it to the prebuilt and maintained backend. Then it was as simple as adding their rgb widget and pointing it at the pins I set. I loved that I could share my project with my family so they could control the lights with the same setup on their phones. No UI work necessary on my part and a setup up of 5 min means this is a HUGE win.

Inconvénients :

I have very little to say in cons since they really met my needs quickly as a developer who works fast on his side projects and hobbies. One small thing I noticed is sharing is a little annoying because you share with a QR code so your recipient has to scan it. They allow you to send the QR code easily inside the app, but it doesn't help much if I'm able to text a QR code to someone's phone where they then need to scan it... we ended up using facebook messenger on their computers and they scanned with their phones.

Blynk has a solution for every iOT project we wanted to to do

Commentaires : Currently I'm not doing business related software with Blynk. However, easy 'surfing' with many different kind of projects may lead to an application that is suitable for business use.

Blynk has offered easily adaptable and working solution for every iOT project we wanted to do. There has been many very different kind of projects done in our iOT experiment group. Application examples are Home Automation, Robot Control, Voice control, Model Train Control, Music Players control and many more. Blynk has offered a nice UI solution for every project we have done.

Inconvénients :

The amazing Blynk Forum is the best software related forum I have been visiting. There is an answer for every question and even for questions that are not Blynk related. People are asking for example help for how to write programs for Arduino etc. That means there is too much 'garbage' in Blynk Forum website.

Particle and ESP Projects made easy!

Commentaires : I use several dashboards for several projects around the house, including my home security system and sump pump monitor. The app is very pleasing to the eye, my projects look very professional, and works flawlessly. The community support is very active, and company stakeholders are extremely active on their forums. They are generous with the amount of product that they let you use for free, more than enough to try it out and create truly useful projects, but if you want to do more, the cost to add additional widgets is surprisingly cheap. I threw them $20 a long time ago and still have most of that credit available.

Avantages :

Network connected microcontrollers are meaningless without a way to interact with them. Blynk makes the interface/app end of things EASY.

Inconvénients :

None. The Blynk app works well on all devices I've tried, setting up a project is easy, coding the controller is easy, and things just work!

Amazing Software For Beginners and Pros

Commentaires : From using Blynk, I have realized that I don't need to rely on companies to sell me IoT devices to have a smart home. Instead, I can make every single device myself and have it all localized to the Blynk app.

Avantages :

With Blynk, it is extremely easy to get WiFi and bluetooth enabled development boards like the ESP-32 functioning at the same level as store-bought home automation smart devices. It is easy to make a customize able set of widgets that allow control through a smart phone, which saves makers from being forced to buy commercial IoT devices when you can build a much more customizable version for cheaper.

Inconvénients :

Some of the widgets are locked to a specific size ad cannot be resized. I would like to see more current features like Google Assistant or Siri integration.

Incredibly awesome tool

Commentaires : Blynk controls my proton particle interfaces to control several hardware in my house.

Avantages :

Blynk allowed me to create a system for a proton interface to control my house. I didn’t wanted to create an entire app, so Blynk came as a fast solution and ended up beign a complete tool to create a fully automatization system for my house, and apart from all that, amazingly let me share with family members who also live in my house.

Inconvénients :

There are no “cons”, only some little bugs that have appear from time to time, like disconnections, inhabillity to share with others trough qr, and thins that, asmwith any app, solves either automatically or trough app updates.

The Blynk IoT Software platform

Commentaires : I found the creation of mobile applications on Blynk to be straight forward and really easy to setup. What Blynk lacks in app skin/background customisability it more than makes up for in functionality. I would definitely use this app for future IoT projects

Avantages :

I like the way Blynk has simplified and speeded up the process of creating functional mobile applications through the use of their drag and drop building style. I was able to create multiple fully functional apps using their prebuilt widgets, requiring very little programming (on the hardware side only), in a matter of 20 minutes on average. I was able to easily pair these apps with projects i created using the Arduino uno and Particle Photon microcontroller platforms which is one of the many devices supported by the Blynk platform. I found the online reference documentation made avaiable by Blynk to be very helpful. However there were a few instances where i required clearity or had some difficulty figuring out how to use certain widgets in more complex use-cases, such as the use of a time stamping feature using the RTC widget, and found their online community to be friendly and helpful.

Inconvénients :

Although Blynk's widgets are customizable in terms of size and colour, but the widget icons cannot be changed. Also the application background is not customizable aside from selecting it to be either white or black. I also really dislike the fact that, although Blynk supports the use of a bluetooth communication between the app you create and your project, it does not allow you to access the app with your mobile device if your mobile device does not have an internet connection.

Commentaires : Great for creating quick and simple IoT dashboards but also has features for those more complex projects.

Avantages :

Very simple to get up and running, easy drag and drop interface. The developers have done a great job introducing new widgets which enhance the functionality and show that they listen to feedback.

Inconvénients :

Some minor things - projects are ordered by the creation data. When you have a large number of projects they can’t be re-ordered so scrolling through them is a pain. If you need high resolution long term history of readings you’ll need a local server rather than using the Blynk cloud service.

Amazing Ease-of-use IOT

Commentaires : I created an amazing remote start for my car using this. The app and the software to run all of the automation was so easy to use. It was incredible to be able to create the front end to my project on a day.

Avantages :

Drag and drop app makes it incredibly easy to creatrean intuitive gui that would take weeks or months otherwise. The amount of inputs and outputs available are great and don't leave anything to be desired.

Inconvénients :

I don't know why they decided to use js and not python. I had to go find a port to use it. I the world of raspberry pi python is king and an official python api would be amazing.

Blynk is great for any IoT maker

I believe the app UI design for such a great tool deserves to be a bit better. We connect Blynk through a Node-RED plugin. However, a more CLI approach (and transparent bridge to MQTT) would be nice.

Perfect IOT platform for me

Commentaires : I have a small farm about 20km from home, without Blynk platform I would need to go every day to farm to make some tasks ( like pumping fresh water, opening some gates etc.), now with Blynk and some IP cameras it is possible to go only on weekends or at least not every day.

Avantages :

I like the Blynk platforme the most because there are no limits of boards you can use in your projects, like on some other platforms, and a good description of function on web page. I also like that ESP2688 is supported and now I have made 10 IOT projects and they are all running from one to two years without any issues.

Inconvénients :

For me it would be helpful if Blynk platform would have a simpler function for delay function like the one used in Arduino.

Versatile, intuitive and modular.

Commentaires : Blynk has helped me a lot. I went from local executable projects to a worldwide controlled projects and, at the same time, reducing the number of coding lines making the projects faster and stable. It also helped me in learning new programming languages.

Avantages :

Easy to install and use. With just few easy steps, the hardware and the mobile App will be communicating with the world and with each others. Best of all is the flexibility to choose from the out-of-the-box cloud server or the local server allowing so, a total control of the project.

Inconvénients :

Blynk is not known to many in the IOT world yet. But I'm sure, when this will happen, the users community will be larger and the project will be even more powerful.

IoT made easy!

Commentaires : Having only one weather station in the nearby city (12km) the data wasn't reliable enough for me and my business. My job consists of being on the sea a lot and having consistent, reliable, real time (15 min increment) measurements provides me with a piece of mind for the upcoming weather at a quick glance on my mobile phone. It can also plot a really nice graph which can also be exported.

Avantages :

Very beginner friendly and straight forward. Took no time at all to set up, coding the sensor output takes longer! It has been my first IoT project and I loved it, does whatever I need and more. So easy even children can use Blynk.

Inconvénients :

No complaints, feature rich, reliable. The only con is that I didn't think of this idea earlier!

Great overall platform

Commentaires : I use Blynk to teach kids programming and using wifi and other protocols to integrate their projects with phones. I have been using it for my home weather station for two years without having to reprogramm or fix anything.

Avantages :

I like that it is simple and intuitive. The energy system is easy to get a grasp on. I have been a user and a customer for a few years now and have been in touch with their support and always had my issue resolved.

Inconvénients :

No flaws about it that I could see. All issues were resolved in a few days time.
