Avantages :

It's easy to use and provides all the information we need for a reasonable price.

Inconvénients :

Easiest background checker around!!

Commentaires : Checkr gives me the chance to look at the whole picture of someone I’m hiring giving me the chance to make a sound and safe hiring decision for the company.

Avantages :

How easy it was to navigate around the site it wasn’t a long drawn out process like other sites!

Inconvénients :

The lay out could have been better. Things placed in different areas than they were.

Fast Effective Background Checks

Avantages :

Checkr works seamlessly with Planning Center which we use to track all of our people. We can start a background check right from a person's profile and a request is sent to the person who has asked to volunteer and they complete it without us having to be responsible for the safety of any of their personal information. Checkr lets us know when the background check is complete (usually within 24 hours) and we are able to print the report for our files and it automatically updates their status to approved, approved with caution, or red flags it because of a concern brought up by the background check.

Inconvénients :

We have been very pleased with this software.

Commentaires : Love it.

Avantages :

The synchronization with Procare Online.

Inconvénients :

When we create a profile from Procare online and select a package, that package is not reported in the Checkr website. I have to select the package again when sending the invitation to the candidates.Also. When an invitation link has expired and a new new invitation link is sent to the candidate from Checkr website, that new link and its report results is not updated on Procare online. Procare still keeps the old expired link where as the candidate has been cleared but we can't see it on procare.

You don't get what you pay for

Avantages :

I liked that they have an online system that seems obvious.

Inconvénients :

I paid for a premium tier background check tier that included employment an education verification services. The employee was in a rush so he clicked skip. He then wanted to come back and answer it. Checkr won't let him do that. He asked me to look into it and I need to pay again. Customer support said their default settings is to allow people to skip questions, charge the company, and then have them pay for it again. They can change this setting, but you have to ask. Working with this company isn't worth your time.

Commentaires : Overall it's a good prodcut that meets my expectations. I get the results I need in the time frame that I need them, and that's good enough for me right now.

Avantages :

I am able to integrate Checkr with our current HRIS and start the process right from an applicants profile. I usually have a quick turnaround and easy to read reports.

Inconvénients :

There are so many different packages to choose from, sometimes it's complicated to know exactly what I'm ordering unless I log in directly to Checkr and then sort through the different packages.

Avantages :

Easy to use and good communication with customer support.

Some responses are slow, but not necessarily due to Checkr and various county's are manual and slow to respond.

Commentaires : We have loved the ability to submit hundreds of background checks and to quickly and easily see their status/results.

Avantages :

I like that Checkr is an easy-to use and well-supported online solution. We really appreciate the ability to pick and choose what features we want and that Checkr has a pricing solution for any combination of features.

Inconvénients :

As with any background check system it can be frustrating when dealing with improper background check information or errors that come up when requesting a background check due to user (applicant) input error.

Vast Improvement Over Sterling

Much more agile, easy to use, and cheaper than Sterling - a far, far better user experience for both the administrator and candidate.

Nothing to note! Great customer service and lots of attention in the onboarding.

Commentaires : Checkr provides an easy to use and essential background check solution that is transparent to employees/applicants. Pricing of the solution is fair and no subscription is needed. For larger organizations a more automated process would be best to use and new contenders have better APIs and automation. Check your use case and need for automation before deciding on a background check solution.

- Transparent to employees and applicants that are being checked - Easy to use online interface - Very affordable yet comprehensive background check - Quick learning curve for new admins

Inconvénients :

- Online interface is dated and could use a UI refresh - Notifications and automation could be more advanced

Checkr has been a great asset to our ministry

Avantages :

Integration with Planning Center, ease of use, ability to track the status of background process or if one is expired.

Inconvénients :

I wish we could add context to the initial email so that our volunteers know that it is coming from our organization and to be clear on what information we check and that we are using Checkr for our volunteers not for a job application. This has caused some confusion lately.

Advantage and disadvantage of Checkr

Commentaires : Their is no problem at all, if I'm being honest, I wish that the Checkr will go directly on the candidate page like so we do not need to search them manually because sometimes, it can eat all our time and our AHT will be affected and we don't want that. However, using Checkr on check the BGC on our drivers is its very punctual and easy to use and utilize.

Avantages :

The features that is most impactful, specially to us, is the background check. Using this we are able to see their BGC result and assess what action we will take based on that. Also, we do not need to send the details of the result of their BGC because Checkr have an automated message that comes through the driver's email once their BGC result is ready or if they have an issue regarding to that. Plus, Checkr is so easy and convenient to use, whether you are first timer. We can definitely process easily with the help of this software.

Inconvénients :

The cons that I can see on using Checkr is that when we search the drivers manually using their name, email, or even UUID, it sometimes occupy alot of our time. It takes 2-3 minutes before its shows up. Furthermore, since we are assisting drivers and we usually need to see the candidate page and not the report page. It will be more less hassle if we click the driver's BGC from their application that route us to candidate page instead of report page.

Commentaires : We have had a great experience with using Checkr. We love the product and will continue to use it.

Avantages :

We love how it integrates with our other software and it's a quick turn around time and it's very easy to use and understand the reporting.

Inconvénients :

The only struggle we have is that getting back to the dashboard without going through a check is sometimes difficult to get directly there.

Commentaires : My overall experience with Checkr has been very good. I have never had to contact customer service because I can always check status in the portal, which is rarely needed due to speed of results.

Avantages :

We use Checkr for our US background checks and love how easy it is to use with ATS integration and speed of results.

Inconvénients :

We can't use Checkr for our Canadian employees

Great and Easy Background Check Resource!

Avantages :

We love how easy it is to connect to our software and run background checks on our volunteers and staff. It is detailed and does most of the work for you.

Inconvénients :

We do wish we could get a notification when background checks come back instead of having to manually check constantly.

Commentaires : Recently we had some staffing changes and in order to get our invoices I had to go in to the portal several times until the right person at Checkr could update our email contact for invoice and payment receipts. It took a couple of months to finally get the change made even though customer service said it was changed.

Avantages :

The software works great and depending on the response of the people we are requesting the check on, it usually pretty quick.

Inconvénients :

Other than the customer service concern I mention below (overall experience) I cannot think of anything negative at this time.

Commentaires : Sometimes hard to find candidates in the search. Have to put them in many areas to pull them up.

Avantages :

Usually fast response, easy to use. 24 hour access.

Inconvénients :

Would like to be able to put in a specific job, and pull all applicants with that information. Example-Floor experience-Pull all floor experience within all candidates that are applying to all jobs in the area.

Commentaires : As I said before, As me as a recruiter Checkr helps me to get valuable information from candidates I may get onboarded to the company.

Avantages :

I think that what I like the most about Checkr is the fact that almost everything is automated, I mean, I just need to send an invitation to my candidates and as soon as they submit all the necessary information and do what they need to do (For example to go and take their Drug screening), I will receive all the information that I need to get them onboard.

Inconvénients :

I would like to receive more appropriate notifications from Checker when it updates information about the candidate. I mean, I know that we can receive notifications from Google chrome for instance, but I would like to receive an email or a text message when what I said before happens. (I'm not sure if I can set this already)

Seamless and Accurate

Commentaires : This was such an easy transition for us to begin Checkr and integrate into our current database!

Avantages :

The ease of use and integration with our current church database (Planning Center) has made this tool our go to for all volunteer background checks. Knowing the accuracy and promptness of Checkr gives us and our parents ease of mind that we have done our due diligence in protecting our children.

Inconvénients :

There are some rare occasions where we have needed a volunteer to fill a Sunday morning role and the background check may not be returned instantly on late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, but that is such a rare moment.

Checkr - easiest background check provider

Commentaires : This is my second company that has used Checkr and I'm a huge fan!

Avantages :

Checkr is very easy to use. Once you have the types of reports you'd like to use set up in the system, all you need to do is add your candidate's email address to launch a search. The communication to our candidate's is clear and timely and the best feature is the report comes back quickly!

Inconvénients :

I rarely need customer support but when needed, it's only via email and response times can take a bit.
