Great user-friendly platform

Commentaires : Our overall experience with MedTrainer has been great. There are very little cons and countless pros to using their system.

Avantages :

I really love how easy MedTrainer is to use and navigate for both the 'students' and the 'admins'. It makes assigning courses, training documents, and protocols super easy. Using MedTrainer as a LMS has been a great success for us.

Inconvénients :

There are some delays in getting support from the customer service team (not all answers are received within 24-48 hours). Sometimes the system does have some lag and it can take some time to update a course, training document, or bundle. I also wish we had the opportunity to create and generate our own custom reports for analytics.

Commentaires : MedTrainer staff are extremely responsive and their turnaround time is great. They are always willing to help and stick by their word. They take feedback on their products and customize them to their customers' needs. Above all, you can feel that they genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction.

Avantages :

MedTrainer is a great resource. More than that, the customer support and MedTrainer team are what make the software exceptional. They help to truly customize functions based on our needs. Among other things, we were able to transition to electronic incident reporting and ensure a speedy and simple way to deliver required annual compliance training. We are continuously evolving with MedTrainer. Our organization spans across multiple states and MedTrainer (and their team) make sure that we are well taken care of and help us to ensure uniformity within our Compliance Program.

Inconvénients :

The cons tie into the pros. With any IT product there are bound to be issues - however, the MedTrainer team is always quick to help and ensure that it is resolved ASAP so we can return to normal operations. MedTrainer takes feedback and constructive criticism well and adapt to our needs.

Excellent Compliance Training & Document Review

Commentaires : As a Practice Manager of two busy Internal Medicine clinics, by using MedTrainer, I'm able to ensure my staff are receiving the most up to date safety training. In addition, it gives me an online central location for storing and update my important documents relating to L&I, HIPAA, Policies & Procedures, and more.

Avantages :

I really like that I can make sure my entire staff has THE most up to date training in regards to CMS, OSHA, and many more that are required in the Healthcare community to ensure the safest possible environment for my staff. Safety through education.

Inconvénients :

It's hard to assign training to new staff without involving customer support.

Not the greatest learning tool

Avantages :

I have been in the medical education system for along time and have had to use this throughout my training. It does allow for a wide range of options for teaching the student, but overall it is frustrating and annoying to use. There has been okay customer support, but it overall doesn’t match some of the other options out there!

Inconvénients :

It is hard to use and is very figity. It has several glitches and is not user friendly at all. It takes a big learning curve and overall is just not worth the time. It is affordable though, which is a positive.

I 100% agree with the other reviews that the salesperson oversold the product. They would tell us to input the info and then they would "make it work for us". We spent a great deal of time inputing all of the requested info, just to find out that they could not meet our expectations or needs, nor were they able to follow through with promised functionalities. We attempted to use this product for a couple of months then we decided to terminate our contract for cause and with a 30day notice. They have denied to amicably ressolve our request to terminate stating "not given the 30-day notice to cure properly" DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM......

Super useful training software!

Avantages :

It's very easy to use Medtrainer since all the training is easily accessibly to both the users and the administrator. The interface is alright but the customer support is top notch

There were a few reports that are tricky but customer support is very helpful

Avantages :

MedTrainer has been very easy to use! Training notifications and videos have been easy to create, monitor and alert staff when need to be done. Easy to track who has completed their tasks and manage employee files.

Inconvénients :

The videos are a tad generic, but they serve their purpose, and better than what we used before.

Unsatisfied Customer/Client

Commentaires : My experience with this company was not good at all. It started off well with the demo & the sales pitch, but turned into a nightmare. This product was sold to us as a great working tool that our providers would love however, the functionalities did not ever meet our needs. They had to keep sending our issues for product planning, Which meant they kept having to create systems for us that never worked. We had many issues with reporting & trying to make this product work for our company. Just ended up causing us more work in the end. Would never recommend this product for use.

Avantages :

This product was sold as a functioning software that ended up not working for our company.

Inconvénients :

The software lacks adequate credentialing capabilities that we were promised. We were sold that this product would work great for our company however had many dissatisfying experiences. Their timeliness to complete tasks on our issues were often delayed with run arounds, many delays in responses from our contact. Reporting feature never met our needs. Cannot express how dissatisfied of a client we were.

Avantages :

MedTrainer offers a wide variety of courses that are useful to our company. We are also able to customize our own courses and policies if they don’t offer what we are looking for. The entire system is very easy to use and helps keep us on track for our compliance needs.

Inconvénients :

MedTrainer is a great software; we don’t often have problems with their program.

Hard to sort incident reports by type quickly excel spread sheet has to be manipulated a lot to be manageable. Incident/ event numbering useless rather have location date to hard to sort thru numbers with no logic to them

Orthopedics - HIPAA and Safety

Commentaires : MedTrainer was my training tool when starting with this company. Now, as the administrator to newly onboarded users, I can see why we have stuck with MedTrainer for so long to meet our HIPAA and Safety training needs.

Avantages :

MedTrainer allows us to assign a bundle of courses to our new users which makes sure that all users receive the same training. Courses are interactive and designed in a way that encourages the user to explore all information provided in the modules.

Inconvénients :

The only issue we encounter is having to enable pop-ups in our browser to access courses, which is an easy fix!

Commentaires : Very little difficulties with MedTrainer, however if when we did have an issue it was quickly resolved by the customer service.

Turn Key Solution for improved HR management

Commentaires : Overall I've found the company adaptable and keen on educating end-clients. If there's concerns, there's timely report on resolution or timeline of resolution. So the up-front honesty and ownership of a changing product to stay current has been appreciated.

Avantages :

Web-Based allowing cloud access and flexibility. It is flexible to create powerful ability to group educate and manage teams. It is also scalable.

Inconvénients :

The education is rather dull for the employees. Powerpoint slides that are redundant often. There's also been clarity issues on some of the content that have since been reported.

Commentaires : we are currently using medtrainer for OSHA, HIPAA compliance and CPR certifications. It is very easy to track when you need to recertify everyone. and the addition of the cpr certification was great being all online

Commentaires : Overall Medtrainer has been great to provide us with the training we need for our staff.

Avantages :

I like that we are able to download our documents into the program for easy tracking. I also really like how frequently the Medtrainer representatives reach out to check on our business and to see if they can offer any support.

Inconvénients :

It would be helpful if the Medtrainer program was more familiar with each individual state/county requirements and sent updates and compliance reminders.

Medical Practice

Avantages :

The best thing about the software is the way you can automate reminders and notifications. This is especially useful for remembering when a license or certification is going to expire, or when classes are due to be retaken. We also appreciate the sheer amount of content the site offers and look forward to using more of it as we grow and diversify our company.

Inconvénients :

The software can seem overly complicated sometimes. Navigating screens and all the sub menus can get tedious sometimes. We also don't like that our account manager seems to rotate and change every month. We originally thought it was due to turnover, but the same account manager have rotated in and out multiple times. It would be nice to develop one relationship with the same person.

Easy for the office to use

Commentaires : We have utilized MedTrainer to keep us current on California Employer and Employee regulations, OSHA and overall standard of care and training. We are a small company and don't have a formal on boarding class. We use MedTrainer to ensure that all employees are consistently trained.

Avantages :

That it keeps track of when everything is due for me once it is set up. My customer service rep is always available to ask questions.

Inconvénients :

Using it as an Admin is challenging for me. I typically have to call and have someone walk me thru the program. I do the Admin portion so infrequently that it makes it challenging.

Commentaires : It has been very favorable. When I contact customer service everyone has been very helpful. I wish there was a manual, as most of my questions are concerning adding new employees as we don't do that too often.

Avantages :

Ease of use, plus reporting. I know when an employee has completed his/her work and who needs additional training when they can't seem to pass

Inconvénients :

Some of the questions in the courses are redundant.

Commentaires : MedTrainer is a great tool. I've recommended it to several HR colleagues. The customer support provided is also outstanding. I can't say enough great things about MedTrainer or their service!
