Je l'utilise depuis plus de 3 ans, il est simple d'utilisation pour les novices souhaitant cacher leur IP en cliquant sur un bouton ou plus complexe pour les pro en sélectionnant le pays ou l'utilité d'utiliser le VPN. Connection rapide et depuis que je le possède je suis protégé pour mon utilisation.

Inconvénients :

Des pertes de connections aléatoire et inopinée. Faire attention également au réabonnement automatique.

CyberGhost is a user-friendly VPN service app with many features. It includes the latest WireGuard with great speed (which allows you to turn on an additional layer of security by blocking DNS domains used by ads, malware, and trackers. Cyberghost can unblock Amazon Prime and Netflix. I had to disconnect and reconnect the VPN and refresh the page once or twice, but it was never too annoying. Cyberghost makes sure nothing can leak whenever it disconnects by blocking the incoming connection (kill switch). An extended subscription saves money, so the longer you commit, the cheaper the VPN service becomes. And for as low as $2.23 a month, you get a great product. I also like how easy it is to identify which servers are the least busy by quickly checking the server load percentage figure next to each country server.

CyberGhost is easy to set up, very intuitive, and affordable. The browsing speed is great, it has a kill switch that avoids any IP leak if the VPN disconnects unintentionally. You can choose what country you want to connect to or let the app take care of it. The auto-connect on startup allows you to 'forget' and not have to worry about turning on your VPN every time you start up your machine. By using the Wireguard protocol, Cyberghost can also block predefined content (ads, trackers, malware). I also tend to trust VPNs based outside of the jurisdiction of the "14 Eyes Alliance"

Inconvénients :

sometimes Cyberghost has a little trouble connecting, and it also, although rarely, completely fails to connect. Split tunneling is not available on Mac, it's a great feature that allows the user to let some apps and websites access the internet without going through the VPN (some websites go crazy when they see you connect from a server abroad to access their services and have you go through a lot of unnecessary hassle just to make sure it's you...

Very good and affordable VPN

Avantages :

Very good pricing. Very easy to use. The desktop app for Mac OS is very good and simple. also the app for iPhones is good. It allowes you have multiple devices where you can use cyberghost. the variety of countries is also very good, there are really a lot. for streaming it is also one of the best.

Inconvénients :

That the do not have an app for appletv. Sometimes the connection just stopped, you had to "unwire" the connection to start working again.

Good VPN but had some issues

Commentaires : This had to be removed from our computers. Too much time was spent checking the service or the connection. On the phones we had it on, it had to be continually suspended because several hotspots would not work with the CyberGhost service. And I thought that was why I installed on the device! To make connection secure! Very disappointed!

Avantages :

When it comes to a VPN, the service does what it says. It provides a good, secure VPN connection for your internet connections.

Inconvénients :

The software kept crashing or disconnecting from the servers, it happened several time per day. If I could not connect to a website or service, I grew to understand I was going to have to restart the program or disconnect/reconnect to the severs. Incredibly inconvenient!

Commentaires : CyberGhost is good when you are a premium subscriber of the software. Like most other VPNs, it's only cheaper when you buy a multi-year plan from them. It's hard to beat CyberGhost in terms of performance, however, if your task is limited, you may find good and cheaper alternatives. The CyberGhost windows app has gotten a lot faster now than it was before. The earlier versions sometimes did cause my windows to halt. I don't see that issue anymore with the versions of the last few years. My experience with CyberGhost has always been good.

Avantages :

I think CyberGhost probably has the most number of servers worldwide and covers all countries around the world. (I'm not 100% certain about that, but they cover way too many countries.) The company is decades old. At least that's how long I've known this VPN. That's a very important trust factor for me. The company has evolved from just a VPN to a complete security solution. For a Paid VPN, this is definitely one of the best VPNs in the world in terms of Speed and reliability.

Inconvénients :

Previously they had a limited-feature free-VPN plan, which many users prefer when they have a very limited task to accomplish with the VPN. If you are not a regular user, you would not want to spend money on a VPN. The Free VPN however, had many limitations, such as speed throttling, waiting in queue to get connected, data limits etc. I think they probably have got rid of that. That's a disappointment for me.

Commentaires : Broadly it's a great piece of kit. Notwithstanding the issues I perceive with account management and the lack of live chat support (which may change) it has a wide selection of servers around the world. It will come on automatically and it's easy to put further controls in to secure your connection. Quick and easy to change country/server.

The user name and password and managing your account are complicated by lots of unique user input which makes it secure but I felt was unnecessarily complicated. Plus no support live chat button.

No issues on my mac however on the PC i find sometimes it will stop working. And by that i mean the VPN just turns off. Unlike my mac which blocks content until I manually fix on my PC it will just stop working leaving me un-protected

Commentaires : Overall I would say my experience was just fine with CyberGhost, I used it quite happily for around a year before moving on to another software (NordVPN)

One of the most likeable things about CyberGhost software is that it is easy to use, the interface is very user-friendly and aesthetic.

Inconvénients :

Loading it every time I open the laptop is slightly annoying, and I did also have some problems connecting every now and again, although I do live in an area where the internet is very touch-and-go so I can't contribute that to the software itself (at least not 100% of the time).
