Avantages :

En tant que produit Google, il est facile à utiliser et à configurer. Le stockage est très pratique dans les applications et il est facile de le partager entre différents utilisateurs en toute sécurité.

Inconvénients :

La seule chose que je suggère est le prix du stockage premium. C'est un peu cher je trouve.

Work well as a cloud storage

Avantages :

Google really do a very well cloud storage service, either for the paid version or the free plan. Any user can easily use this platform, because there are no advance technical skills needed to get expert on this software. Uploading my digital assets like document, files or media to the cloud storage is very breezy and smooth.

Inconvénients :

Apart of the limited storage space for the free plan, there are not much to be dislike with this software. The pricing scheme is included in the bulk software that they offer, and can't be purchase as a stand alone software. Overall, this software is the main software that i have choose to manage and storing all my digital assets online.

Great Cloud For Daily Use

Commentaires : I have loved Google storage once I got into a cloud storage scheme for my many systems. I used to use separate HDD's and SSD's and it became cumbersome. This way, I have insurance I always have my stuff in the cloud. It is secure as well.

Avantages :

Google Cloud is great for using daily files in the cloud. It has good remote access and unifies data management so you don't have files all over different systems (I have several). I use it for stuff I use all the time and other archival stuff is stored elsewhere to keep it separate.

Inconvénients :

In the past it was resource heavy on Windows but has evolved where it is hardly noticable at least for me. I use a middle-high end systems arrangement with both old and new laptops, desktops etc. I am a creative person so I have many systems and large files I use all the time --the final products are archived elsewhere.

Commentaires : I'm very satisfied, it has made our work easier and especially facilitates home office work places.

Avantages :

We started using the cloud storage on a daily basis during the lockdowns, as we had to quickly move all of our classes online. This was a great possibility to make our materials accesible to all of our colleagues and have them quickly at hand whenever it was needed.Now that the lockdowns are over we continue working with the cloud storage, because it's much easier accessible and better funcioning than the intranet storage that we used to have.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it took a while to open the archives; theres no direct print option.

If Its Cloud Storage you need, Google is the choice.

The only issue that I am facing now is that I have reached almost 91% of my 100 GB storage, and no matter how big the files I delete I'm not able to gain back the storage.

Commentaires : Google products/programs are all linked to each other. So it's convenient having the "storage side" of the program linked as well. I have had only good experiences with this app and it has kept my work and family life easy and comfortable and safe to use.

Avantages :

I feel safe in knowing that the cloud is not going anywhere. I will always be able to use it and retrieve what I've stored in it. I feel safe with the security aspects. I know my information, documentation and sentimental data is safe. I like that it does not change to much. It's reliable just the way it is and the "face" stays the same. I admire the fact that there is a free version (not enough space in the free version, but it's understandable).

Inconvénients :

Honestly, there isn't really something I dislike so much that I would make a fuss over it. The only thing is the space available on the free version. If I should use a paid version, It would cost me too much.

Good or not?

Commentaires : Complicated - really hard to handle things in there, but overall it was exactly as a normal cloud storage, where I kept my files.

I am a little bit confused and hesitate a little as well. I know that a lot of famous and big companies use Google Cloud Storage, such as Twitter, Pay Pal. I tried it. There is a good part that you don't have to pay to try it. I am really not as satisfied as other cloud storage. Maybe there are different pros and cons and since I am just a single user. Maybe it's more into big companies with different kinds of things to keep in them. It works like a normal Cloud Storage for me.

Inconvénients :

Maybe it's way easier to use other Cloud Storages. Everything in there needs to be google-searched to understand how to use it or how to find where it is. Things are complicated in there. I am just not as satisfied as the others.

Cloud Storage for Graduate Students

Commentaires : Cloud Storage has assisted my school and employer in having an easy method of communicating through sending and saving documents while also making it a breeze to edit, comment, and easily save important uploads that other software may miss and lose.

Avantages :

I believe this software is amazing at creating an easy place to upload, save, send, and create documents. It has helped students and professors easily share projects and class materials. Aside from easy sharing, this software is amazing at saving material, even as soon as a user can start typing. This has helped tremendously in avoiding losing important documents.

Inconvénients :

The only issue I have had with this software comes from having to add an email as a viewer instead of being able to immediately send a document over to them.

It's awesome and contemporary. When I use pretty much anything related to google it makes me feel like a big team of people is really trying to adapt it to the needs of its costumers.

Inconvénients :

Moving files such as copying or changing ownership etc. is sometimes a bit difficult. Also, when trying to upload files via the google file stream on my computer it sometimes won't let me copy PDFs. Any other file is no problem, but I regularly have to copy PDFs up to 10 times and when it's still not there I'm so frustrated that I just upload it over the browser.

My favorite cloud storage service!

Commentaires : I use Google Cloud storage for storing all of my documents related to my blog. It's nice having everything secured on the cloud and I feel safe knowing if anything should happen to the documents I have stored on my mac I can easily recover them from the cloud. It's easy to use and I like how clean and user-friendly it is.

Avantages :

Google Cloud Storage offers a ton of free storage space! I have stored a lot of pics and videos and still have tons of space left. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to share files. I mainly use this storage service for saving my articles, documents, graphics, photos, etc for my blog but I also use it to store and share files/photos with family members. It's really easy to share folders and allow editing or viewing access with others.

Inconvénients :

I've had issues importing multiple documents at once. I tried selecting 30+ documents to import into the cloud and it kept freezing or terminating. It was really frustrating and I ended up having to import each document one by one vs all at once. I've also noticed that sometimes your documents or files aren't stored in the correct order that you uploaded them. It all gets mixed up. For me, this isn't a huge issue but if I ever need documents organized in a specific order then I know I'm not going to be able to do it with this cloud storage.

Google Cloud Storage takes the worry out of finding relaible cloud storage for a good value.

Commentaires : I would say for the most part all of my experiences with this software has been good. I have not encountered anything negative other than the limits of their services which is very understandable. no company out their can give everything away for free, but google sure does try.

Avantages :

Google Cloud Storage has lots of features that make backing up my files any where I go simple and easy. I use it to store the multitude of photos I use on a daily basis to sell my services to potential clients that I could never store on my mobiles devices. Its so nice to be able to free up my storage capacity for more apps that make my life more stream lined that I could never be able to have room for if I kept every photo I use on a daily basis in my devices on board memory. I also find the user interfaces to be very easy to understand which is a big time saver when trying to teach other people how to use it so that I can easily transfer files from my work station to clients. All in all I think this comes from the fact that Google as a company is very user experience focused and that's what makes their products so user friendly. I would recommend that you always try out their products before anyone else's because you can count on the fact that google is always going to be focused on making their products as stream lined and easy to use as possible.

The only cons are that if you are using the free versions of their cloud services is that you will find that after a certain point your upload speeds will be throttled but its not something you would need to worry about for most use cases unless you are pushing a lot of data like for example and entire companies worth of work flow for the purposes of backing up your companies data in case of data loss or destruction. So for most people you don't need to worry and if you are trying to do that you can just pay for unrestricted access instead of going the free route.

Why this is best among others?

Commentaires : From my point of view, I'm still using it and haven't replaced it with other apps as I find it very comfortable to use. Sometimes it makes me chew my teeth but that doesn't matter as it provides much better facilities than any other available apps in market. The important files and documents of mine are safe on this platform. Surely I'll suggest everyone to use it without a doubt. No concern of privacy as the brand Google already gaining trust of consumers. Its that much simple as a local storage and a beginner with zero knowledge can also easily use this.

Till the date I have not found any cloud storage that can compete this storage. Trust me this is worthy to use. Talking about its pros, first thing is this storage is absolutely free on trail basis. For beginners and normal users this storage provides enough storage capacity that an user needs. You can also use this on large basis which will cost you some penny. Easy to use and very user friendly in nature. You can connect your Google account with this so that it can automatically backup your important files and save there. The stored data is immediately available whenever you need as there is no downfall till the date I'm using. Very trustworthy and safe. Google guarantees you of your privacy so you need not to worry. It can support most of the file formats.

Frankly saying, there is not much thing you will dislike about this app. Its likable product. The only thing I suggest is the price of premium storage. Its little bit expensive but affordable. Sometimes it gets slower but you will not loose your data. You will have to clear cache to make it work faster. Little bit of problems I faced in uploading of big files as it took more time to upload. User interface needs more improvement.

Great Cloud Storage for those that use Google Sheets and Google Docs

Commentaires : Google Drive has an amazing value if you are looking for a free cloud storage option. It also has good prices if you wan't more than 15gb of storage. It directly integrates with all of Google's other applications such as Google Docs and Google Sheets. It usually syncs pretty good between multiple computers (Mac or Windows). However, if you are using the new Google file stream I'd recommend only using on Windows. Dropbox may be a tad bit more user-friendly and maybe it has a little bit more connections with other apps because it was the first company to kind of offer these cloud-based. Storage Solutions. I would say that Google Drive is better than Dropbox if use Google Drive applications such as Google Docs and sheets.

Not only that if you download the desktop client for Mac or Windows you are able to download and sync all the files that are on your google drive account. This allows you to easily open the Google Sheets and Google Docs files like they were native files on your desktop system. Once you click on a google sheets or Google docs file, it will open up a browser and take you right to that file within your browser. Google Docs Add-ons: This is extremely convenient and much better workflow than any other competitor, even though Dropbox came out with their own word document editor recently. The Google Docs workflow is better than any other competitor as of yet. And beyond that, there is a huge amount of Google Docs add-ons that you can add other companies will make certain extensions that you can expand the functionality of Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Not as Mac Friendly: With Google Drive to sync to a mac desktop, you need to have the storage available. Well guess what? Apple has been making the storage smaller and smaller (SSD Drives). For example, if you have 100 gigabytes of data and files on Google Drive you will need to be able to have 100 gigabytes free space on your computer. However, if you get the Google file stream this now will allow you to save space on your drive by only downloading it when you need it (on demand). So it will show the file is there but won't take up space. This is how I envisioned computing years ago, and it's finally here!! Wait, nope its not, not for mac users. As far as I have tested on the Mac operating system is not usable. The main issue is it slows down the mac like crazy and uses up a TON of recourses for some reason. I don't know if its because there is a clash between mac finder indexing and this software, or what. I had to uninstall it because it slowed down my 2016, top of the line MacBook pro. So if you're looking into getting Google Drive I would recommend the regular backup and sync utility if you are using Mac (opt for regular google drive storage rather than the google suite for businesses, which comes with the google file stream.) It may be completely different on Windows but as far as Mac is not ready for production it completely slows down my Mac and will use up way t When the day comes that Google makes File stream more compatible with Mac OSX, it will be AMAZING.

Absolutely Love it

Commentaires : This program has been something my family and I have always turned to when wanting to put our sensitive and older family photos in for years. Its very reliable, easy to use and has plenty of space to store your precious moments. I have never had the problem loosing photos with this program as I have had with others in the past. So much so that I always double back up my iCloud photos to Google, that way I can confirm they will be around for years.

What I loved the most about this program is its ease of use, it is also very cost friendly. I have ICloud which tends to be very expensive so, I upload everything to my computer and then send it to my Google Cloud Storage. Also I seem to be able to find my my way around this program very easily and It doesn't loose my photos. I have used the same account that my mom started for me years ago and I love it, I tend to turn to this anytime I want a great place to store time sensitive photos.

Inconvénients :

Their is really nothing I do not love about this program, it has been a life saver to me and my family photos many of times.

Great cloud storage tool

It's simple to organize and access documents. This allows me to free up a lot of space on my hard drive. It is so easy to preserve papers that are regularly stored and easily accessed from anywhere at any time. It's simple to use and always there as we need it. Design and functionality are excellent. It is accessible to anybody, and it maintains our staff linked to the data we utilize.

Due to the fact that data retrieval is sluggish when the connection is slow, a speedy internet connection is required all of the time in order to save and recover data as quickly as possible. It will be beneficial to improve the graphical user interface. If it were less expensive, I would significantly increase my storage space. The more data that accumulates over time, the less expensive storage should be.

The Future is Now

Commentaires : Aside from sometimes feeling like I need a year of CE courses to use a feature here and there, I couldn't be happier with it. Using GCS makes me feel less lied to by those old futuristic movies and cartoons.

Avantages :

I love the customization features running virtual machines and not having to worry about losing files anymore. This service saved my family a lot of heartache when every photo of our missing child was lost to a head crash. We thought we had lost everything but we had set up automatic cloud backup and forgot about it. That's the great thing about it. You can do that and not have to worry about it. Google cloud storage has made our digital life foolproof.

Inconvénients :

There's a bit of a learning curve. There are times that one can get lost trying to find what you're looking for or figure out how to make some things work. I spent an inordinate amount of time feeling like my grandfather trying to program his VCR. I'm pretty tech-savvy, I think, but I've wished for a simpler way a lot using GCS.

We don't need to talk about Google's high-quality products, however, cloud storage is great. Taking into consideration the great performance and replication between geo locations this is a solution that I will highly recommend for any company

Inconvénients :

In general, I would like to see more security recommendations in the UI something like tips or something like that. The reason being that we are constantly hearing about data breaches and most of the time it is due a database out there in the cloud not correctly protected.

Avantages :

I am in love with the security provided by this software, and i can store and work comfortably knowing my online data can be easily access by me. Cloud storage is important nowadays, as I always work outside of my office and need a quick access to my files and data.

Inconvénients :

Some of the things that i like least with Cloud Storage is, the file indexing layout is not too user friendly, and i had some hard time searching back for my files or document. They file view is too big, and i had to scroll to the bottom to find the correct file.
