Transferring numbers was fairly painless. Integrates with cell phones.
I have a hard time logging into the app. I constantly have to reset my password for some reason.

Love the mobile application along with the desktop application
Commentaires : My overall experience has been amazing. You get a professional quality phone system with the same exact pricing as our previous analog phone system.
Avantages :
With the mobile phone application, it is extremely easy to disguise my personal cell phone number with our company phone number. The mobile application also has a built-in text message feature with unlimited ability to send and receive messages. As to the desktop application, the ability to place and receive phone calls, text messages, and send faxes really makes the Ooma platform ideal for small businesses such as ours.
Inconvénients :
The only thing that I do not like about the software is some of the features with respect to the tutorials that Ooma has available to ensure the staff becomes familiar and comfortable with the use of the program. There are several features such as Call Park, Call Flip, and a few others. While these features are amazing in theory they are somewhat difficult to learn how to use them.

Ooma office - Like a bad marriage that fails within the first month
Commentaires : At this point, we started looking for another provider that could provide a simple solution for a sole-proprietor business at a savings. We found DialPad, which has been a DREAM to set up. Every interaction with DialPad has been pleasant and easy. We initiated the porting of our business number from Ooma to DialPad. Because of the length of time the porting took, we went over our 30-day trial period. Once the port was complete, cancelling the Ooma service was a nightmare. They want to hit me with the cost of the deskphone! There was a rental agreement hidden in the contract. The phone was not free! Early termination fees! They want me to pay to ship the phone back to them that I didn't want, otherwise they will charge me for the phone if they don't get it back. This whole experience has been like extortion. If you don't need any phone hardware to run your business, DO NOT accept any "free" equipment from anyone trying to get you to switch to Ooma. I spent 37 minutes on the phone trying to get them to send me a prepaid return label for the phone. I was transferred to a manager who told me that he sent me the label. After hanging up, there was no label, just the boilerplate email with the shipping address that they want me to send it to. I replied saying that the manager told me that he was sending the label. The response was that they don't send prepaid labels. FAIL!
Avantages :
Not much. I was sent a desk phone as part of a 30-day trial. I didn't want a deskphone, but they said it was included in the trial. After I agreed to try their service, he kept calling me every day to see if I got the phone yet. The phone was fine. I have a small desk. I don't need a bulky corded phone on my desk. I mostly use a soft phone or my cell phone with an app to take business calls. On the soft phone, I was able to make calls easily enough, although there was an unusually long delay from the time I tried to dial a number and when it actually started ringing on the other end. I never experienced this with RingCentral. Very annoying. Then we decided to port one of our incoming business lines to Ooma. Once the port went through, I then learned that our incoming business line was ported to a fax line. Thankfully one of my existing customers emailed me to tell me that he could not reach me because when he called my business line, he got the loud beeping of a fax machine in his ear. I don't know how many prospective customers I may have lost during the time that my main business line was connected to a fax line. When I tried to contact Ooma customer service to fix this problem (because their admin portal won't let me fix this myself), I waited on hold for 20-30 minutes. Once someone picked up, I had to be transferred to someone else and then the call was dropped. This happened to me two times before I was able to reach someone that was able to reat
Inconvénients :
Also, there is no music on hold included with Ooma business plans. You have to buy your own royalty-free music and upload it yourself. Otherwise, your customers hear dead silence when you put them on hold. I also was unable to make my after hours business voicemail greeting work the way it did on RingCentral (and the way it now works on DialPad). Their system couldn't do it. Meanwhile, I continue to get sales calls from Ooma trying to get me to switch back to their service.
Simple to use, simple to set up and great voice value.
Commentaires : Ooma is a great solution, and budget friendly. You can emulate most features that other UCaaS providers provide. If you need contact center functionality, this would be their enterprise product depending on what you need to do with it. Multi - Site set ups are also a breeze.
Avantages :
We had a property where the phone system has failed completed. Spun up OOMA office with phone numbers and set up Remote Call Forward on the lines coming. Property back in business within 45 minutes which included any tweaks. We ordered phones after we got it all set up.
Inconvénients :
If using the wifi on the phones, it is best to have a network jack that has access to the internet to get started with firmware downloads, etc. We have some challenges getting that part set up and had to get on the phone with support and they were helpful for us.
Great Choice for small Business and Reliable.
Commentaires : Call quality is great and the system is easy to use. Have a lot of included options in the system and you can have both an ATA and desk phone on the same ext.
Avantages :
Have had many years and have only seen one outage in 5+ Years We have been using it. The outage was fixed in less than an hour so did not impact us much. Very helpful staff and a great price for business looking for a easy to use system with all the features.
Inconvénients :
Locked out of phone settings so if you are looking for changing phone wallpaper there is no option to do this on the phones.
Alternatives envisagées précédemment :
Saved us money and gave us more features than old POTS lines.
Commentaires : Extremely satisfied with the service, features, and price.
Avantages :
Cut our phone expense down to about 1/5 what it used to be. Ability to take our phone and work from other locations when needed. Ability to use our cell phones thru the mobile app and have it appear as if we are in the office.
Inconvénients :
Texting ability was included initially but now appears to be lost and only included with their Pro plan.

Best phone system for your business
Commentaires : Ooma Office has been exceptional. I have had nothing but great reviews for them
Avantages :
Easy usuage and the efficency of their customer service is next to none. Customer service is very dedicated. They answer the phone on 2nd or 3rd ring, curteous and happy to talk to you, stick with you until issues are resolved and follow up to make sure you are satisfied. They are simply amazing
Inconvénients :
Nothing- may be make the handset a little smaller.
Good Option for Business Phones
Commentaires : Very Good. Like all products, customer support can make or break the product rating.
Avantages :
Quality and ease of use. Very easy to use once it is properly set-up.
Inconvénients :
The initial set-up was a bit cumbersome, however, once the bugs were worked out it has performed well.
Helpful and accessible
Avantages :
Able to modify needs for fluctuations in office flow, accessible anywhere, inexpensive
Inconvénients :
Difficult with mobile online platform. Wouldnt keep changes and crashed

Inconvénients :
At the time I had it feel like they should’ve added more variety of phones

Ooma with the Save! Critical especially during Covid 19 Pandemic
Commentaires : We are using this product exclusively for our firm. The Ooma support staff is always accessible even during pandemic craziness. The sales rep has always been available even after activating the product. I am so happy that I selected Ooma as our phones and fax provider.
Avantages :
I love the Voice IP system. When the Stay-In-place order was issued by the California Governor, we had little time to react beause the immediate future ws uncertain as to having our business remain open with on-site workers. I was able to make a quick decision to have essential staff literally take the phone system home and plug it into their home internet connection. The phones were amazing as they were plug and play ready. Each line has its own fax capability which was added for a small price. This allowed staff members to file documents and correspondence with digital fax capabilities. Simply Save Documents as PDF and Send. The next major feature that was amazing was the Digitial Receptionsit for call directing.
Inconvénients :
I believe if Ooma offered a tutorial reviewing all of the features to be provided directly after activation would have been able to get the staff up to date on the new product. Some staff members indicated that obtaining information as to the use of each feature was not simple to locate on their own.
Changed our experience with business phone set up!
Avantages :
Ooma Office is so easy to set up and use - that even I, the most inexperienced phone user, was able to set up my entire office of 5 completely by myself. We have had Ooma Office for almost 4 years and have loved it since! I love that I can easily forward calls to other users, I can port my desk line to my cell phone if I need to step away, I can block calls from spam and unwanted numbers at the click of a button and it is all user friendly.
Inconvénients :
It took me a while to figure out how to add a new line/phone to our existing account
Good, not great. Annoying customer service
Commentaires : The primary benefit of switching to Ooma is that I'll be able to take business calls as usual whether I'm in Canada during the summer or in Mexico during the winter. Of course, I would have this benefit with any of their voip competitors also, but regardless. Now that it's finally set up the way I like it, I think I'll be staying with Ooma for a long time.
Avantages :
I like that I can upload a voicemail greeting, and that I have a lot of control over how to handle incoming calls with the virtual receptionist. In my case, I want the phone to ring 4 times, and if it is not answered to not allow people to leave voicemail, but instead be presented with a greeting. Ooma allows me to do this.I also like that they have both mobile and desktop apps, as I am choosing to use only the desktop app. It starts up automatically and displays notifications when the phone rings, so this is exactly what I was looking for.
Inconvénients :
Two things. 1. When a call comes in, the call display only shows me the first and last name from my contact list, but it does not show me the company name of the person who's calling. I wish there was more control over what data from the contact card was shown on the call display for incoming calls.2. The customer service is annoying. The good thing about the customer service is that it's easy to get a customer service agent on the phone, and also that the customer service agents are friendly. So they're trying, but the bad thing is that all the customer service agents are incompetent. They don't seem to understand when you explain an issue, and they don't seem to ever know the answer. They always seem to have to do research with you on the spot to find the answer, and even then half the time they give you an answer to a question you didn't ask. Sigh.
Ooma Office
Commentaires : Ooma office is great and would recommend to any small business. It is great in price and have had great results with it so far. Our company has been using Ooma for a few years now and have recommended it to a few of our clients.
Avantages :
Ooma has a great online system that allows you to easily forward calls to your cellphone and send faxes. The online system is very user friendly and I have not had any issues with. Customer service is very repsonsive whenever we have any issues or questions. They generally are able to troubleshoot issues over the phone with in a few minutes and someone always answers right away.
Inconvénients :
One con is that there have been several times when the office phones will just go down. This has happened 3-4 times where the line is unable to connect to any signal and we have to call customer support for them to reboot our line. This has been an ongoing issue with one specific line, so may need a new phone but Ooma has been very responsive to this issue.
Affordable, very reliable VOIP phone service
Commentaires : excellent, and I'd recommended to anyone who wants to save some $$$$$
Avantages :
the ability to have apps on your smart phone & tablet
Inconvénients :
it strictly relies on high speed network, and living here in my area, there's outages from the ISP...other than that, it's still pretty good!
Ooma Office is Super
Commentaires : Overall it has been a good system. We have used it for over ten years! I highly recommend it.
Avantages :
We like the VOIP option for the service. The transcribed voicemails that arrive in our email boxes. The menu option and ease of changing our office availability/hours is super. With the calendar feature, we can adjust the office holiday and bad weather closures quickly. We are also excited about the mobility of the set up - we are changing our office and we just take it all with us. No number changes! We also like to call register - you can track back numbers in/out if needed.
Inconvénients :
Sometimes we get an electrical outage and the in-office system goes down (but it still rings to our cell phones so we are able to do business). The fax is a little awkward to learn, but after you have it set it works out good.
Great features on mobile app
Commentaires : With Ooma, I am able to leave my business and still get my calls and voicemails no matter where I am. This is really helpful as a single owner/operator of a small business.
Avantages :
I love being able to forward my business number to my cell phone when not at my business and being able to call using my cell phone as if I was calling from my business number. I also really appreciate being able to see when calls came in and being able to check voice messages.
Inconvénients :
I have my cell phone set in a ring group, so when a call comes into my business, it should ring my cell at the same time providing that I am logged into the app. However, if I have it set on wifi only, the call often doesn't completely connect and ring through.
OOMA Voip for insurance offices
Commentaires : very positive, we have had no down time in 4 years
Avantages :
Their is a wide variety of features that can be installed easily
Inconvénients :
OOMA has done what they said they could do and so no cons at this time
One of the BEST Phone systems I ever used in > 40 years in the business
Commentaires : Outstanding and GREAT service. Overall highly recommend to others.
Avantages :
The easy of use. Fast setup. Customer service is the BEST. Very professional and knowledgeable.
Inconvénients :
Sometime calls come in and we dont see them.

It automated simple processes like telling our store hours to customers. It streamlined checking messages in our email inbox so we didn’t need to set pins or train employees! The list goes on and on! I recommend Ooma office to all!

If we can’t figure something out the customer reps will answer a call, usually in under 30 seconds. The software is intuitive. It is easy to setup, and the app makes texting customers easy and straightforward. Being able to text pictures is also a phenomenal feature! Noteworthy items: 1) Great Pricing 2) Reliable Service 3) Included texting capabilities 4) Included Virtual Receptionist 5)Easy to update hours 6) Changes all remote capable
Inconvénients :
Nothing! Ooma is the absolute best! I am so happy we switched over.
A real game changer.
Commentaires : Setting up and managing the Ooma system is a breeze. The user-friendly interface makes it easy for even the tech-challenged among us to navigate effortlessly. It's a time-saver, allowing us to focus on what matters most – our business.
Avantages :
We've been using the Ooma phone system for our business, and it has truly transformed the way we communicate. Ooma has been a game-changer for our budget. We've seen a significant reduction in our monthly phone bills without compromising on the quality of service. It's a win-win for our bottom line.
Inconvénients :
No issues with their service and easy on the budget especially when starting out.

Great product for small business
Commentaires : Exceptional product and service!
Avantages :
It is remarkably easy to setup... just plug and play and you are up and running!

Great Small Business Phone and Message System
Commentaires : It has been excellent and saved me lots of time and money.
Avantages :
It's incredible easy to use and very intuitive.
Inconvénients :
Mobile system can be easier to use and missed calls reports need to be integrated.
Great phone system for business any size
Commentaires : Ooma office makes things easy. Setting up the after hours/holiday schedule makes us worry less about missing a call when the office is closed. I foresee us being with Ooma Office for many years to come.
Avantages :
Auto Attendant makes it easy for callers to get to the department they are trying to reach via extensions. Ability to let callers hear our address and fax number as well without connecting to live person makes things a lot easier.
Inconvénients :
I can honestly say I have yet found a feature of this software that I dislike. Everything works as it should.
