En savoir plus sur Square Payments
Square sécurise les paiements même lorsque vous n'utilisez pas de lecteur. Un terminal virtuel pour les transactions par téléphone, les factures et plus encore.
I have used square payment for two of my online stores before, the integration process is very easy, the payment processing is fantastic and the fees is inexpensive.
You cannot change the currency once you create the customer, it's really bad because maybe the client could pay with another credit card or another currency.

The Perfect Payment Processing Option for Small Business
Commentaires : My overall experience is A++ since I am able to accept and process payment at a fraction of the cost and without costing me more time and effort.
Using this software for a couple of years now I really like the ease of use and how it's transferable between all my devices. I am able to access reports, process payments, and more from the mobile dashboard or my PC. It doesn't require that I have or use any additional products or equipment for function. They have very friendly and knowledgable customer service and support. I love that you are able to integrate Square into other systems for a more robust system.
I wasn't able to really pin point anything that I didn't like or enjoy regarding the software.

The Grove of Cayce
Commentaires : to me, it's easy, cause most people only have cards not cash. and it will let me know when to update.
It's so fast that it is in my account that same day.
After about five hours I had to put on a charge to keep up with my long hours.
Save Your Money and some Headaches
Commentaires : Really horrible customer service.
I was used to it. I did like that they added business banking, too bad they were so horrible with it.
Square notified me of suspicious charges, all of which from one day, and all of which were fraudulent. They took 4.5 months to put the money back in my account temporarily. 6 months later they took it back. Some of these were known to be fraudulent from doing a simple Google search. Every time I contacted them I got the same result, they were escalating it to their disputes team and I would hear back 1-2 days. I never once heard back from them. It was only by checking my account that I found I lost the disputes. Apparently there is no appeals process other than engaging an attorney. The high fees along with this terrible customer service and their inability to know what is actually fraudulent make them a poor resource for handling your money.
Good for small businesses
Commentaires : It allows me to bill customers on a recurring basis, enabling them to pay with a card online. It manages all these transitions — for a fee of course — and directly deposits the money into my chosen bank account. This solves the payment and invoicing needs for my small coaching business. Transaction fees vary significantly according to the amount of each transaction and the method of accepting payment. In general, Square is suitable for my needs of <20 transactions a month. I'm not sure if it will be as good for a larger business.
Square is easy to set up recurring invoices for my clients. I can adjust bills, create items, and even build sales landing pages to send out via email. I do all transactions online and it allows me to save clients' card info as well.
Some of the internal navigation can be tricky. Occasionally I have e to build an item to then place it on the invoice. Also subscriptions and recurring invoices are different, which can sometimes be a hassle.

Commentaires : Easy peasy! It's been a wonderful addition to my small business.
It's so easy! I was scared at first that I may not have the knowledge or skills to set this up myself, but it was so user-friendly. I've always been able to do what I need and find what I need within the platform.
No cons. I'm really satisfied with this product!

Easy to Use but Limited Features
Commentaires : The platform is easy to use, and their customer support is responsive and helpful. While there are some limitations to the platform, it is a solid option for small to medium-sized businesses that need a reliable payment processing solution.
Square Payments is a popular payment processing platform that offers a simple and intuitive user interface. One of the biggest positives of Square Payments is how easy it is to set up and use, even for those with little to no technical expertise. The platform is compatible with a wide range of devices, including mobile devices and tablets, making it convenient for business owners who need to take payments on the go.
However, one downside of Square Payments is that it can be expensive for businesses with high transaction volumes. Square charges a flat fee of 2.6% $0.10 for every transaction, which can add up quickly for businesses with a large number of sales. Additionally, Square Payments does not offer some of the more advanced features that are available on other payment processing platforms, such as the ability to accept recurring payments or to process payments in multiple currencies.
Ease of use and links to QuickBooks for pets records
There wasn’t a definite unlike about this item
Great for any business big or small
Super easy to use and set up on any device
No cons it makes taking payments in person or virtually so easy
Square Payments - Best Software App
The simplicity of the app's ability to directly accept debit and credit card payments on my phone makes things easier for me. This software works very well, and I would recommend people use it. It’s cheap and affordable for transactions. It can be used on any device.
I love this software, although I believe one can have problems logging in if the password or email address is incorrect, which is a common problem on every platform.
The best in the town ( market )
Commentaires : Very easy and have access to lots of account futures and perks. We have dedicated Android device that work perfect. Very happy with Square POS.
We are using this software probably 4 years now, without any any problem. During the time we use different devices and works 100%, without any glitch. Square support was helping us few times to make the tings right and we are very happy in their professionalism and security of all the system. Ohh, yea on this days the security is very important in any business when you work with Credit Cards and money. They are on the top of the game. We try few times other merchants to reduce the fees, but get back to Square for the great service and support.
Not real any, If the swap fees would be little lower than 2.75% probably will be great. But hay! prefer service and security first. Very important for our clients and us.
Square - great for small businesses, and not just retail!
Commentaires : Overall, I love Square. The ability to receive payment from practically anywhere at any time is HUGE for a small business owner. My ability to set up my clients in the address book and add their card on file saves a ton of time. I also like that only the last 4 of their credit card shows up. I do not want the burden of having all that info on file.
Square is a great solution to a small business who wants to ensure they can be paid easily, regularly and without burdening their clients. I use it to receive monthly payment for my services for about 30 of my clients and it makes my life and my clients lives easier. Yes, you pay a processing fee, but it is competitive and well worth that small fee to ensure that I get paid. Plus, it only takes me a few minutes to receive payment from all those clients.
There are some elements of Square that are not as intuitive as they could be. Setting up a clients card on file can be tricky at times, especially if you use the web browser vs. the app. In general, use the app for EVERYTHING you do and you'll be fine. The other issue I have sometimes is the checkout process. That times a bit of time to get used to and can feel clunky. This should be easier and I believe that Square will do their part to make the updates in time. The final thing, and this is something that may not impact many people, but I use my headphones a lot. I have to be sure to remember to unplug/disconnect them before opening the Square app. If not, it thinks my headphones are the card reader and hits me with a very loud, old school fax machine connection type sound. A painful experience!
Alternatives envisagées : PayPal et Venmo
Pourquoi passer à Square Payments : I felt like Square was a more professional way of charging my clients. I also like how it allows me to set up a client and their card info and never have to mess with that again (unless they change cards). I actually use all of these others at times (PayPal, Venmo and Facebook money) and Square is the easiest to use, verify with a bank account ect.
Square is a great option for businesses with mid to lower volume credit card payments
Commentaires : Square allows us to process credit card payments without having to pay a monthly fee, and the amount we pay is a fixed percentage of credit card receipts. They are a pleasure to use.
Square sets up quickly, is easy to configure and add items and service to, and produces excellent receipts for the customer. It also integrates into Quick Books for easy importing of transactions.
Occasionally, the card reader has problems connecting to the iPhone we use as a terminal. Even more occasionally, the phone has problems reading from the credit card swipe reader. I'm honestly not sure if this is a Square problem or an iPhone problem. It's not frequent enough to complain about overall.
Alternatives envisagées : Clover et Fiserv
Pourquoi passer à Square Payments : For a business like mine with a smaller volume of credit card payments, setting up a credit card processor that has a monthly fee, even with smaller transaction costs was still a losing proposition. Eventually, the volume of payments we receive may tip the scales in favor of another processor, but Square is a really good solution, both in the office and for mobile.
High processing rates, worth every penny!
Commentaires : I absolutely love that Square offers so many features for small businesses and that they all integrate. If I could give myself advice when I first opened my business, it would be "Don't get a bunch of different programs and lie to yourself that you'll just be more diligent keeping records. Just open the business with Square for everything so it's all integrated in one place."
It's soooo easy to use! The interface is very easy for our clients to use. It's taking us less time to ring clients out, and clients are leaving much higher tips than when we used other processors. I absolutely love how Square offers all the services a small business could ask for: credit card processing, invoicing, accepting payments offsite, POS systems, appointment booking, ecommerce, the list goes on. I tried lots of other services before switching to Square for everything, and I wish I had just saved myself the time and started using Square for everything and integrating systems right when my business first opened.
My only hang up with Square is their high processing rates. I'm aware that they can offer better rates if a business does greater than $250k annually in sales, but that's only if the payments have all been through Square. So it's a little annoying that we're easily surpassing that and proving that with previous years' reports is not sufficient.
Great Program, Great functional devises and Inexpensive
Commentaires : The money I have charged is placed in my account very quickly, and I get my receipt and a report after payment is received. Very awesome tracking system that I utilize for taxes.
#1 Pro, Inexpensive, besides paying for the devices, $10 for the plugin square, $50 for the wireless multi-capable card insert device, which is less than what Merchant services charges you to rent their device monthly or purchase the fees are the same as any and every credit card fee. that is my only expense after the devices are purchased. In addition you download the app to your phone and you don't even need the device, you will lose 1% more but that is still inexpensive.
to be honest I do not have any real concerns, the only think that crosses my mind is, what happens if i lose the wireless device, does it save any info on it that can be hacked.

Pourquoi choisir Square Payments : With the 5 year contract I had with Wells Fargo I was paying about 900.00 in fees per year not including the credit card percentage that is charged. With square I have paid out less than 100.00

Great Option for Small Businesses
Commentaires : Square Payments Processing has been great for my business. The majority of clients prefer to pay by credit or debit card and most have used Square at some point so are already familiar with it.
I really like that I can sell eGiftcards through the Square software so my clients can purchase via a link from my website without having to contact me. Also, that Square is compatible and completely integrated with my booking software (MassageBook).
The recent change in fees has been a bit confusing. I don't think overall there has been much of a change in what I'm paying, but I have had to pay more attention to the fee part of the transaction as it is no longer as straightforward as it previously was.
Past user of Square Payments
Commentaires : The rates were low, the application was super easy to use and we liked it when it worked for us.
The device to put on the ends of our ipads and iphones was small and easy. It was a very easy and smooth application to use.
There were times were the device didn't work out in the field for our technicians. Square could not seem to figure out a solution to the problem. They definitely did try but we continued to have issues

Pourquoi choisir Square Payments : Much more reliable product for our office and technicians in the field.

Efficient payment processing
Commentaires : Square is a great, simple, and effective processing software that I use on a daily basis. I've been using it for close to two years now and have never encountered any issues, which is extremely important to me. I highly recommend Square for most size businesses. There is a free trial, so I encourage everyone interested to give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
Square is a simple, yet efficient software to use. It makes all my barber payment processing much easier, as well as, my clients truly enjoy the quick transaction. Along with that, it allows me to efficiently keep track of my daily revenue.
For my line of work, Square has all of the features I need. Although, if your business is much smaller without as much revenue, the processing fees may be too high.
Alternatives envisagées : PayPal Commerce Platform
Pourquoi passer à Square Payments : Although PayPal is a reputable company, I came to the realization that many reviews were not so positive, so I decided to go with Square instead.
Good things DO come in small packages
Commentaires : Overall, I am absolutely pleased with my decision to go with Square payments and devices. It has proven to be a powerful little tool, and has exceeded my expectations for my business and administration needs.
I was prepared, with rolled up sleeves, to set up my Square devices and software, expecting snags and integration challenges. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up and how quickly I had it up and running. The hardware is small and does not take up much space, the software is easy to manage and customize, and the reporting is always current, which is a big bonus for me. My patients have often remarked at how swift and easy it is to be processed after treatment, and the simple tap or wallet payment platform is loved by them. Especially since it is hands free. This software allows me to have things all ready for them without any wait periods. On the backend, I really am grateful for the reporting and transaction logs which are always current. This makes bookwork so much easier.
My only stumbling block to date has been with the online gift cards. There doesn't seem to be a way to see when someone has purchased one. You only know of the purchase when you redeem it. I would like to know what is out there.
Square does not reimburse for manual credit card transactoins
When it works it's okay and you get payments quickly.
When the card reader doesn't work, which can happen for multiple reasons (no wifi, the card's strip is worn out, the reader is worn out, etc.) Square has instructions on their Support page to enter the credit card information manually. I encountered this situation at my last show with 100% of my credit card sales, followed Square's instructions from their Support page, and received an "Approved" response with each transaction. Square's records showed these transactions were transmitted to them as "cash" transactions so they refused to compensate me for the sales. If you use Square, you know that cash transactions are very different from manual credit card input. They do not display fields for you to enter credit card information, expiration date and the code on the back of the card, and they do not ask for the customer's zip code. This was all information I manually inputted with each transaction - but it did not transmit to Square. But again, with each transaction Square responded with "Approved". Square did not acknowledge any problems at their end and would not help me, so I essentially held a "Free Sale" where I paid for booth space at the show in order to give my products away. I have no idea if the customers' credit cards were charged. I only know that I will not receive payment for my goods because Square will not investigate the problem on their end. However, in telling me this they kindly hoped that I would have a "wonderful day!"
Square is the independent contractors gold standard for payment processing
Commentaires : Square is great. My customers have the option to pay with a credit card, and even understand that I will upcharge them the transaction fee. With some computer skills, you can make an online store work from your own site, or using one of their templates if you don't care how it looks. Bottom line is that Square gets the job done that needs to be done.
Setting up Square to accept payments through a device like an Ipad, phone, or laptop, through either swiping or manually entering information, is as easy as it gets. Highest marks for virtual terminal and checkout links, as well as snapshots of important information such as how much is the average a visitor spends, and how much is taken in for a given day. Best of all, payments to your account are very quick, with a fantastic option for instant transfer.
Hands down, the awful thing about Square, and the thing that could use the most improvement is the Online Store. It looks awful, isn't easy to customize, and takes a bit of knowhow to even get your product or event listed. I've used this for years and keep waiting for Square to make this something that has as much quality as the rest of their service. It doesn't look like they are interested. Also, merchant services through banks charge fees that the average small business owner can't justify.
Money Management made easy
Commentaires : This software is exceptional for law office management.
I was a partner in an establish defense firm when I went on my own and began to concentrate on plaintiffs employment law. In a big firm, cash management was done for me, but when you are on your own, that’s no going to happen. So I started taking credit and debit cards. The problem was that it was costly in time and expense. The rented machines were clumsy and credits had to be reconciled to the bank. I finally decided that it was costing me more to rent, reconcile, and train personnel that it was not worth it. Along comes iPad in 2011. I went to an iPad for Business program at the Apple Store where I was introduced to Square. Every swipe was 35¢ and 2.75%, and it didn’t matter if it was a VISA or American Express which had been running me 4.5%. Since then Square has gotten better and better. I generally have money in my account the next business day and if I agree to an additional 1% I can have it immediately. Square Capital extends credit as well.
The original hardware was free. Now for a chip reader, expect to pay less than $50. I have two. One for the office and the other I keep in my car.
The Easiest and Most Inclusive Mobile Payment Processor
Commentaires : Overall, Square Payments is my favorite electronic mobile payment processor that I have used so far. I have tried a few others that were either really expensive or just didn't have the features that I wanted.
I love that almost every feature available is on the app and that I don't have to worry about dragging around a laptop with me. I can manage my inventory and service options on the app, including adding product pictures and SKU numbers, if needed. I can send customers' invoices that have already been customized like it's nothing. While the price isn't the absolute cheapest processing on the market, it's definitely close to the cheapest, which is always nice, especially when you already have pretty small profit margins.
There are some features that are offered that I wish did not cost extra money on a monthly basis. I think a payment plan that would make more sense would be that depending on how much business you do per month would "unlock" certain free features or something like that. That would allow for more versatility depending on your business size, instead of having to worry about an extra bill every month.
