A great tool and partner to ensure our clients have an efficient PIM

Commentaires : We specialise in building automated, personalised digital services, we chose Sales Layer as our Product Information Management partner as we share a common interest: catalog automation for businesses that sell products or services. Besides being a great solutions partner, Sales Layer is a very powerful PIM tool that we implement for our clients product work flow.

Avantages :

An advantage is that users can choose between the plug and play connectors that save us time setting up the PIM data with third-party services. We use Sales Layer PIM with our own Unify connector to automatically create and update 100's of data-sheets and in turn produce bespoke product/service brochures. As an agency it's crucial that our clients are able to centralise and independently manage their products and services whilst maintaining data integrity. In the past our clients have struggled when managing data across multiple channels, implementing Sales Layer has allowed Libris to offer clients a simple, flexible solution to organise, control, analyse and connect product data.

Inconvénients :

We don’t have many complaints yet. We keep trusting Sales Layer PIM for our own team and our clients to ensure a cost-effective and results-driven solution for Product Information Management.

Commentaires : My experience is very good. I use the tools to improve the quality of my Product database, Online catalogue etc every day.

Avantages :

The interface and the structure of the tool are very simple and easy to use. The possibility to customize the options and the structure

Could be interesting to change the name of Sales materials due to its multiple uses of this option including additional databases

Improving Product Management Software

Commentaires : We have enjoyed the value that Sales Layer brings, we wish it integrated better with other enterprise platforms such as Salesforce.

Avantages :

Sales Layer makes it easy to update hundreds or thousands of products at once via import/exports with Excel.

Inconvénients :

There is not sufficient documentation on how to use Sales Layer.

I can centralize data and accommodate all of our challenges.

The learning process was a bit difficult at first. It all began to make sense shortly after.

Excellent PIM with great functionality, easy to use and very good support

Commentaires : Dynamic catalogue management and product information management, including the storage of digital assets and other product related things. Easy to control team member access and editing abilities, and also connects very well to other channels.

Avantages :

The PIM has all the functionality (and more) than required. It's interface is easy to use, the onboarding process was extremely easy with exceptional levels of support. The ongoing support is also very good. Overall very happy.

Inconvénients :

There is genuinely nothing not to like in my opinion

Commentaires : Sales Layer’s PIM has become the tool we use to connect our ERP to the website, improve our digital brand image and the quality of our product information, develop a faster and simpler workflow, and boost the efficiency of our design department, and we can count on the assistance of Sales Layer’s Customer Support team.

Avantages :

Before trying a PIM system we only relied on our ERP and outsourced product information. Sales Layer solved all of our problems connecting products and SKUs to associated information, synchronizing the core data from different manufacturers, and keeping our international distribution network always up to date through a centralized and reliable database. Above all, Sales layer’s PIM gives us sales value. We have now synchronized more than 70,000 products, 100,000 SKUs, and all of our sales channels: long-distance sales and in-person sales. Sales Layer has even launched an industry-leading product search engine which proves to be very useful for trade shows. Their top-notch Customer Support team has been an essential companion to walk us through the installation process and daily work.

Inconvénients :

The setup time of a PIM takes up a lot of resource, the result is what we wanted, but it’s worth noting that it took work between our team and Sales Layer’s support team to get the PIM up and running.

The perfect companion tool for catalog and e-commerce website developers

Commentaires : We were looking for a tool that could help us in our website design and development duties, making our daily tasks easier instead of adding more management processes. In Sales Layer we’ve found the PIM technology that understands our team’s needs. Its features keep in mind how real designers work with real catalogs. We can experience their industry knowledge in the ease of use, its versatile connectors and the freedom to organize, activate and hide information elements with no design disruption.

Avantages :

We develop websites and online stores for big and experienced companies like Teka, and this means we face wide and complex catalogs and a huge amount of references and information variables that must fit perfectly in the design. The ideal scenario for development teams like ours is getting rid of content quality worries entirely. Sales Layer guarantees that level of quality for us, because the PIM has an automatic quality control system that identifies omissions and references that need more data. Since we’ve been working with Sales Layer we’ve been fully confident to focus on the design. The data we connect is always going to be synchronized and the results we show to our clients are perfect from the very first draft.

Inconvénients :

Sales Layer has a lot of built-in connectors, but from time to time we miss a plugin that we need to program by ourselves. On the bright side, their API is very flexible and easy to integrate and the number of connectors is constantly growing.

SalesLayer's Impact on Our Fashion Brand's Data Processes

Avantages :

SalesLayer provided us with a centralised platform to manage all our product information. Earlier, our data was across different systems and spreadsheets, leading to inefficiencies and data issues. With SalesLayer, we could consolidate all our product data in one place, we now have uniformity and accuracy. Updating product information, a task that once took hours, was significantly streamlined. We could bulk update product details, prices, and images, which was a massive time-saver, especially when preparing for new collections or sales seasons.

Inconvénients :

The UI sometimes takes a little time to load if I am nit picking would like this to be a lot quicker.

Easy to use and time-saving

Commentaires : Sales Layer has made it very easy for us to centrally manage product information in different languages and all the images and videos related to them. 100% recommendable as it has allowed us to save time and have greater control over our catalogue.

Avantages :

- Great support and customer service for any questions.- Easy integration with other systems via API.- Easy import and export of information.- Excel mode to edit in bulk.

Inconvénients :

- Updating content in PrestaShop is slower than desired. In future versions it is expected to be much faster.- I miss being able to automate field updates if certain conditions are met in other fields.

Sales Layer or how to comfortably manage your information

Sales Layer is easy to use and easy to understand. The process to upload information and update it is simple and comfortable. When in doubt, the support team is always available to help you and integration with third parties is simple.

Inconvénients :

The new interface prioritizes aesthetics. It works correctly but it is an advance of aesthetics as opposed to simplicity.

Commentaires : Para nosotros ha sido muy fácil la integración con ventas , era uno de los requisitos que necesitábamos solucionar y se ha logrado de forma fácil y muy rápida en una semana ya estábamos viendo las pruebas en Prest a shop , al contrario de otra experiencia de desarrollo a medida que tras 9 meses no mostraban ni un 10 % de lo solicitado.

Avantages :

La facilidad de aprendizaje , su usabilidad y la gran facilidad para cambiar la información que se deposita en el Sales Layer , aunque tengas un plan y un procedimiento de integración todos sabemos que esto no se cumple al 100 % y siempre hay cambios, y estos muchas veces no son fáciles, con Sales Layer es de algo que te despreocupa, puedes efectuar grandes cambios sin mucho esfuerzo y esto no implica reconfiguraciones tediosas todo lo contrario , es un gran virtud su facilidad de gestión de cambios, además de contar con herramientas como el sistema de traducción y de control de calidad e la información existente, en mi opinión totalmente recomendable no se equivocaran en la elección.

A fecha de hoy nada después de mas de 1 año de uso

Commentaires : The most powerful (and easy to use) Product Information Management tool for companies that want to build a strong strategy both in English & Spanish markets. It’s great to count on a super prepared team that tailors the PIM to each niche’s needs and that has a trustworthy network in Europe and Latin America.

Avantages :

Working with Sales Layer has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. As intermediary, I see that our clients are very satisfied with the tool’s flexibility, and their support team is very rigorous and honest about the time and resources that any change, technical petition or integration will require. The updates are always clear, the initial process is very easy, and the technical support never lets you down.

Inconvénients :

Minor issues related to some clients’ internal synchronization problems. We haven’t met any crisis or unsolvable scenario since working with Sales Layer’s PIM.

All the output and input channels you can imagine. Formulas that allow data transformation when output info and import info. Multiple images per field. It also works as a DAM. Fast and responsive: can use in desktop and mobile. Keeps track of missing translations, missing fields, % of completion of an item. Summary panels for all the PIM, or by table or by channel. Workflows. Supports more than 200 languages. Granular role permissions. Online support with direct chat to support team.

“A flexible, advanced and dynamic product information management solution”

Commentaires : We have always experienced the management of thousands of products as a problematic task when using traditional tools. With Sales Layer this process became an intuitive and totally automated method that saves us time and costs while providing us with everything we need for synchronizations, inspections, data location, catalog launches and attending each client’s needs in time.

Avantages :

We work with very specialized industries and niche product information specifications, and because of that we need systems that meet our needs and can be easily adapted to any company profile. Sales Layer provides us with professional and up to date management with a flexible, advanced and dynamic solution. Sales Layer’s interface is very easy to use and includes every basic feature required for product content management that can also be expanded to fit more complex purposes because you can work with an unlimited the number of references, data and materials. We have complete freedom in the way that we want to manage our data. We know from our own experience that Sales Layer is a reliable tool to centralize thousands of spreadsheets worth of data and become our single source of truth. That allows us to get rid of data storage errors and problems, and the chaos of files from different companies, catalogs and seasons.

Inconvénients :

We were missing a workflow system inside the tool, but they have recently added one that for the moment lives up to our expectations.

Incredible platform to manage product information

Commentaires : We needed a platform to connect and share thousands of products. Sales Layer
does the job, is flexible, scalable and collaborative - everything I expect from a
system that needs to adapt to our company, not the other way around.

Avantages :

The integration with Magento has been very useful. Synchronizing our images from Dropbox is also a nice feature. It’s super positive to work on a system where you can implement what you need and customize new features as you see fit. Great support and super fast and friendly onboarding.

Inconvénients :

There’s a slight time difference between our company’s time zone and theirs, but that was definitely never an inconvenience. I can’t remember any query that has not been answered in less than 5 minutes.

Avantages :

Avoid expensive set-ups, with people who need to fully explain your business. SalesLayer is ready to use to start working step by step. It also has very good connectors, notably to Prestashop and Magento, with rules for transforming data into output, which allows you to avoid any specific development.

Inconvénients :

Some UX points can still be improved: search engine, image management, etc.

Sales Layer - PIM made easy

Commentaires : Product information management is now much faster and we are generally satisfied with the platform.

Avantages :

Sales Layer makes product information management a lot easier. We were able to customize our platform according to our needs in a record time frame due to the easy set up provided. Sales Layer provides all the tools we need to create, update and analyse product information (content and images) and also reporting functionalities that we find very useful. Besides the help centre is very responsive, we get answers to our questions in a few minutes.

Inconvénients :

So far there is nothing we dislike about the product.

Good PIM system for growing company

Commentaires : I really enjoy working with SalesLayer. After only a few weeks you understand the system very well. Thanks to the chat with Customer Service, questions or discrepancies can be clarified directly. The import of data with the connector into our store system works very well and simplifies our daily work.

Avantages :

- With the help of SalesLayer's Customer Support, the PIM can be easily implemented in the company and maintained independently. - Very competent and fast customer service. - Excel import simplifies the importing and updating of product data. - Product data can be transferred to our store system easily and manually thanks to the connector.

Inconvénients :

- In part, certain logics / functions are not quite understandable at the beginning. - If you have no experience with programming, the formulas for the connector are very difficult to create / understand. - The data update between Sales Layer and our store system does not work in real time but takes a little longer.

Commentaires : The need to centralize and organize our information, in addition to speeding up its updating and dissemination, has made us opt for SALES LAYER. Given the different possibilities that it offers us, in front of our current needs and the possibility of expanding and improving them in the future.

Avantages :

The simplicity of the application and how intuitive it is, has made its implementation much easier for us, despite the large amount of heterogeneous information that we handle. The attention we have received from the technical team during the implementation has been impeccable, minimizing incidents that always occur before new processes and challenges, providing creative and effective solutions in all cases.

Inconvénients :

At this moment we have not found any significant drawbacks.

Commentaires : Super user friendly PIM system for marketeers.

Avantages :

It is easy to add new fields and to drag and drop them onto the right place you want. Also the ease of importing and updating data. You can use different methods like excel upload. The inbuild excel feature is a time saver.

Inconvénients :

The only minor improvement would be explanation descriptions in an Excel export. We can select the fields we want to be exported in each channel, they come with an header, but not an description of the field for our clients.
