Mon avis sur endpoint central

5,0 il y a 2 jours Nouveau

Avantages :

Endpoint Management Made Easy

5,0 il y a 2 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : We needed a way to manage our computers, smartphones, and tablets, and with Endpoint Central we get that in a single pane of glass.

Avantages :

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is extremely easy to setup and use. The product is feature rich and is fairly inexpensive compared to other products. Their support is AMAZING. You can chat with a technician from within the product, and they are eager to resolve your issue quickly.

Inconvénients :

I hope to see a vulnerability scanning and remediation feature in the product. The ability to scan a webserver for hardening, as well as network devices for vulnerabilities would make this product complete.

Pleasantly Surprised

4,0 il y a 2 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : It provides visibility across the network for all devices (EUC and Servers) with the ability to manage them. Being able to roll out patches, config changes and interact with users and their devices from one place is exactly what I was looking for when I was tasked with coming up with a solution. I initially came up with two solutions, but I am happy that this has worked out so well.

Avantages :

Intuitive layout, finding things is relatively easy and figuring out most things is straightforward.Even in a trial, the support is very responsive and always on hand to assist. I like that each page has a link to the support team and I can interact with them from where I am on the site instead of logging into a different portal and logging a ticket. It seems some logical thought was put into developing the user interaction. An extensive set of features and functions is included right out of the box, so you can get up and running quickly. The most challenging part for me was figuring out how to get the agent on devices that AD or the network complained about. Once the agent is on, I have full control over the device and am able to gather a lot of information which, as any IT Admin will agree, is crucial for making sound decisions.

Inconvénients :

The UI looks a little dated and could do with some paint. Even if it isn't for everyone, some users may prefer how it currently looks. In that case, the opportunity to change the skin would be a nice bonus. Despite this, it's a great product that doesn't detract from the site's functionality.I'm surprised that the cloud version is behind the on-premise version in terms of functionality. Although saying that, it's not by much and the team has assured me that the functions are in development. So it will be very nice to see things like BitLocker management in the cloud version and improvements to the quality of the reports.I tried both the on-premise and cloud solutions, both of which work just fine. There are a few things I saw on the on-premise version that wasn't quite the same in the cloud (mentioned earlier). Additionally, at the time of writing this, there are a couple of improvements that I have suggested, namely in the area of managing multiple domains. This area still needs a little work.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central review

Commentaires : Overall it does what I need with minimal setup.

Avantages :

This software was easy to implement. This has been very helpful to reach our goals in a short amount of time.

Inconvénients :

The software is a little buggy. But considering the cost, I can live with it for now.

Excellent Management Product for On-Premise Businesses

5,0 il y a 4 mois

Commentaires : Our estate is easier to maintain thanks to a professional product from a professional business.

Avantages :

The products' comparatively simple implementation. The simplicity of completing what you want to do after they are installed. The support teams' professional assistance is genuinely outstanding if something breaks.

Inconvénients :

Although this is now the industry norm due to all the threats and exploits that are widely used, the product must be updated frequently. While backing up the data is a difficult process in general, especially when databases are involved, I just wish the update process were a little simpler.

All in one package

4,0 il y a 3 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : I really like it and so does my team so we will more than likely buy it and move away from the two products we use.The support guys are brilliant and know the product really well so quick solutions.

Avantages :

Everything we need for remote support, software deployment and patching all in the one place. It is feature rich and to be honest I think we have only touch the surface.

Inconvénients :

Getting the agents on each computer was a bit clunky but to be honest if I had spent some time with their support team it would be easier. We were lucky enough that we had our current software deployment software (which we will move away from).Giving better information on the MSI installation, luckly enough I was able to check the BAT file to see how to install it.MDM looks very complicated and doesn't support all Android phones.

Commentaires : This has helped tremendously with managing company wide devices and has helped add another level of protection for company data.

Avantages :

I liked that there were options to integrate various different services (Microsoft, android, Samsung, ect.). The interface was pretty simple to figure out. This service has helped out tremendously with managing company devices. It also works well with our byod policies.

Inconvénients :

I think configuring items to deploy wad a little more confusing than I expected it to be, but a demo walk through cleared any of that confusion.

A user-friendly solution with strong cross-platform functionality

5,0 il y a 2 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : Its cross-platform capabilities and capacity for third-party and OS-level patching are valuable features. Finding software that does all of that for you right out of the box and requires no tweaking beyond initial setup is challenging.

Avantages :

We have incorporated every aspect of renaming, deploying programmes, patching, etc. into the provisioning package, so we only need to launch the provisioning package, and it will immediately install the management agent. We don't need to sit in front of the computer to set up the machine because once the agent is installed, it will handle all the chores. This greatly facilitates the speedy provisioning of the PC with our agent.

Inconvénients :

In the future, I hope they will release a SaaS version of the product.

An Absolutely Essential IT Support Solution for Small to Large Environments

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : See above! I mainly use Desktop Central to maintain third party applications (non-Microsoft). I also provide periodic remote desktop support for a few users, including one who works from home, like I do. It would take me hours to drive to the office or user's location!
. Especially in this last year, Desktop Central and a couple other Manage Engine products have been essential for me to provide support for a small office that is struggling financially to keep its doors open. I cannot say enough good things about this and the the other Manage Engine products.

Avantages :

From third party program installation and management to remote computer management, Desktop Central is an indispensable solution. - Managing third party software is greatly simplified with Patch Management and Software Deployment. - Full system Inventory, with Manage Licenses, Software Metering and automated system Scan. - Remote Control allows remote desktop support, essential for today's IT support. - A robust set of reports that can be scheduled and emailed. - Integrates with Service Desk Plus to automatically create service tickets, and email alerts can be created. - The Free version is fully functional and a great solution for small offices with a limited budget.

Inconvénients :

I have been using Desktop Central at my current position for 4 years. I cannot live without Desktop Central, or several other Manage Engine products! It is essential for IT to know what their network condition is, maintain its optimum health, and provide end user remote support. Desktop Central is only one of many Manage Engine products that allows IT support to do this.

Absolutely the must in any Environment (and a great pricing as well)

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I've been using DesktopCentral since version 9 and I can see how this product evolves into a great, a "must have" tool for any organization.
There is quite a competition exists, especially with Microsoft Intune (even though Intune does not provide all the functionality that DesktopCentral has) - it's free for E5 customers.
We rely on DesktopCentral in our day to day work and it's our primary tool for endpoint + server management. Absolutely helpful tool.
I must also mention Support - to have support options via chat - is a great idea, always available and always helpful.

Avantages :

All-in-One tool, Inventory, Security, Encryption, Patch management, MDM, Modern Management, Remote Access, Software Deployment - it's a "swiss knife" for any IT department. What makes Desktop Central great is that you have everything to manage your servers, endpoints, in all aspects of it just from a single tool. No need for a multi-server deployment, very easy to deploy and manage. It just works! Logically, easy and very user/admin friendly

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it takes a while to get a new functionality implemented or some existing functionality to be improved. MacOS support sometimes takes a while to "catch up" with new OS releases (even though Apple does provide access to "betas" to pretty much anybody). It would be great to have an edition were all the modules and addons (including Security one) would be already included (we would definitely go for it). Virtualization Modules, VDI management would be a great addition as well

You must check out Desktop Central for *any* size organization

5,0 l’année dernière

Avantages :

It's breadth of features. It literally has features you normally need 3-4 different products from different manufacturers. Normally someone will pay for remote control software, patch management, mobile device management, desktop management as separate products but all that (and more) are built right it. The integration into AD and the ability to patch update computers off the network is vital to my company. The price is also extremely affordable. I've used them in both a 1500 employee company with more than 2000 devices and now in a smaller company with 80 employees and 100 devices and it's been a godsend. Support is also amazing. they have articles available and live chat available and all hours which is nice for me.

Inconvénients :

Some parts are confusing, like the configuration profiles. It takes some getting used to.

Commentaires : We loved all of the features, but they do not seem to live up to the description.

Avantages :

OS Imaging is great when it works. The drivers are usually found and installed on the target properly. Inventory scanning is great, but seems to be intermittent. One day it will instantly find and scan newly images computers, and the next it will hang on the scanning

Inconvénients :

The ManageEngine suite of applications promises to be the best deployment, management and inventory control products, but they do not consistently deliver on the promise. ServiceDeskPlus and DescktopCentral do not talk to each other as seamlessly as they should when handing off asset information.

Desktop Central: Tech Perspective

Commentaires : Overall it is a good product and accomplishes our purposes.

Avantages :

This software is really good shut the price and features it comes with. Replaces a lot of tools we have had to mismatch and put together all in one.

Commentaires : We initially replaced our WSUS system with DC, then expanded it out to cover MDM (replacing Meraki) and vulnerability scanning.

Avantages :

Increased mobile users required us to move to a cloud solution.

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : My overall experience has been great. The product is easy to use and helpdesk support is always quick and friendly.

Avantages :

As COVID hit our company we suddenly went from about 40% remote users to 100% remote users. As a company we have always deployed laptops to our users but most of them were in the corporate office regularly. With COVID that changed and degraded our ability to know vulnerability levels and to ensure all systems were patched. We have deployed the in-house Vulnerability Manager Plus from Manage Engine but with users not always on VPN getting up to date information on laptops was difficult. Moving to the cloud solution was a great option for us as it had most of the capabilities of the inhouse system in use with the benefit added features like system inventory, remote management and always on connectivity through the cloud.

Inconvénients :

There really isn't anything I like about this software.

A Product that actually does what you paid for, and then does even more!

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I have used this program now between three different companies that I have worked in, two of which I made the recommendation that it be purchased. I am impressed with the product, but also with the development and support team. Its not uncommon for me to send them a question and have an answer back in less then 24 hours. They also have a wonderful ability to take feedback and then have it show up in the product in very little time.

Avantages :

The product does an amazing job performing the update of server and desktop operating systems and software. What is surprising is all the additional things it does, and the features that they keep adding into the product. Examples over the years includes adding in things like mobile device management, review of each box for vulnerabilities, showing issue and problems with the boxes that are both correctable and not correctable by the patching functions.

Inconvénients :

Upon some tasks they will show failure or a pending action, however they do not then update those status in the queue. I think this is done from a compliance standpoint, but there should be a function added to specifically address a job that’s been run, been incomplete and then a pending follow-up action.

Avantages :

Ease of use, available feature to monitor status of specific computer desktop, server and laptop. As part of my job, to ensure 100% software patches are applied and monitored this application is very important to me or must have.

Inconvénients :

Poor support, raised a simple recurring issue (which suddenly occured) but no sulotion even remotely checked and provided the logs but still no clear guidance on how to correct. Excellent management solution for small companies without the baggage and up-sell of the big guys

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : We have been extremely successful, and the software has really come through when we needed it. It has streamlined our onboarding as well.
Additionally, the software is improving over time. Performance is strongly better today than when we started with the platform.

Avantages :

The cross platform coverage is not just lip service. We manage Linux, Mac, and Windows machines on equal footing.

Inconvénients :

The weakest area of DesktopCentral would be realtime scripting and diagnostics. Software analysis and reporting is sub par. There are gaps in functionality where the system is gathering certain data points, but you cannot report of script based upon them. For example, you cannot search machines for active processes. Most of this can be worked around, but is inefficient.
