Simplistic yet Innovative!

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : The benefits are largely the saving of both time and money. This product delivers quality results at a low cost and comes packaged in a clean, well managed and extremely well serviced platform. I have had nothing but positive experiences interacting with various members of the team and highly encourage the use of this software to supplement any business need.

Avantages :

This software is extremely intuitive and does not require training nor comprehensive practice in order to be able to leverage effectively. It is a streamlined way to expand your reach and increase your audience. The program works fluidly and at an extremely balanced & fair rate that allows for maximum use. I love this product!

Inconvénients :

There are some projects that demand more dynamic programming, specifically display logic, but the beauty of this software is that if any issues do present themselves, the team is very quick to problem solve and provide solutions.

One Stop Shop for Market Research

4,0 il y a 5 ans

Commentaires : Always reliable and professional, User Interviews does one thing and does it extremely well - they take care of all things users/participants for your market research projects. They handle recruiting, scheduling, platforms, and incentive payment for any type of market research project. They are capable of finding any type of participant no matter how specialized, and the people they recruit have proven to be authentic, dependable, and helpful.

Avantages :

In our experience, they have an excellent, vetted, varied, and reliable panel of participants. We have completed projects with User Interviews requiring small and large numbers of your average joes to highly customized and unique participants, and everything in between. Not only has User Interviews always successfully recruited participants for us quickly, but they have also done so with participants that are knowledgeable and dependable. I think we have only had something like 2 or 3 no shows in all of our time working together.

Inconvénients :

The only really con I can come up with is their limited options offered when it comes to incentive payment. While they handle this portion of the market research process quickly and accurately, they do so essentially only with the option of incentive payment by Amazon gift card. I realize this is usually a popular way to go, but I just wish they had more gift cards - in particular Visa gift cards - as a way to attract a wider range of respondents.

Enables Research Study Tampering

1,0 il y a 5 ans

Commentaires : I have been a developer of medical software and devices for over 20 years. Therefore, over the years I have been a UI Participant, I have qualified for several UI studies, as my expertise is desired among researchers. I always received excellent feedback. Typical studies would be for Ruby on Rails, Java, Gitlab, etc. In December 2019 I participated in a study for the ui client Cloudbees, where their dev ops offering Jenkins. The researchers specifically said "We want GitLab users" "We want honest comments" and "There are no wrong answers". Well, Jenkins has some issues for my space so I advised. It was supposed to be a 30 minute interview but ran for 45 minutes. Two weeks later I discovered that Cloudbees was claiming I never showed up for the interview, I was a no-show. Luckily I had a Zoom recording of the interview, so I send that to UI as an mp4, assuming there was some misunderstanding. Then the CloudBees story changed again and said that, okay, I did attend, but I provided "insufficient answers". I asked UI to please note that the interview ran for 45 minutes. I was really puzzled-- After many years on UI, this was the first negative feedback I have ever received. Then CloudBees changed their story AGAIN and said that my answers were "not qualified", and they believe I don't work with GitLab. I had to laugh at that one, since that's a five-day-a-week role for me. I reminded UI that my UI history over the years contains many GitLab studies, and I had received exc

Avantages :

User Interviews

5,0 il y a 3 mois

Avantages :

I like the fact that it allows people from different countries to take part in order to make some money, and that it also has a referral program that could help to enhance one's earnings as a tester.

Inconvénients :

What I dislike is the fact that it seems slightly hard to get tests because I have been using it for a while now and I have never qualified or be appointed for a test. However, some people do get tests, so maybe the problem is with my profile.

Great side gig for stay-at-home, remote and in-office/field jobs

5,0 il y a 2 mois

Avantages :

User Interviews is a convenient way to make extra or supplemental income for anyone, whether you're a stay-at-home parent or working individual. I appreciate that User Interviews provides various opportunities to apply for interviews and tests. Each interview/test payment varies between $10 to over $100 per study. I have averaged 4 studies a month regarding various topics, anywhere from occupational studies to hobbies and hygiene products.

Inconvénients :

I occasionally had a study that required me to create an account for another user testing site or app, which was inconvenient but not necessarily an issue with User Interviews itself.

Great Way to Earn Extra Money!!

5,0 il y a 3 ans

Commentaires : They do a really good job at compensating you for your time and honest feedback.

Avantages :

This is a hidden gem! You can earn money by participating in research studies done by different companies via this platform. They offer a huge selection of studies and all you do is fill out a screener to determine if you are eligible. If the researcher feels you are a good fit they invite you to participate. They really do compensate you well and all you do is share your honest feedback. They do a really good job at sending you notifications each time they have a study so that you can take the screener. This is an awesome way to help companies and get compensated for it. I highly recommend using this.

Inconvénients :

I haven't had any bad experiences and cannot think of any cons.

Made Facilitating Empathy Interviews Easy

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Commentaires : The small, nimble design strategy organization I work for facilitates people in human-centered design. One of the key components to human-centered design is interacting and empathizing with the people you serve or design for. User Interviews made it easy to find the right research participants for the client we were working for/with. The results from using User Interviews were fantastic. Our client was happy that we pulled in their core customers into the research and the workshop participants got to experience what it was like to truly conduct user resarch first-hand. It was a win on all fronts.

Avantages :

The overall flow of the system. One can easily look through a large number of people who qualify for the user research you want to conduct. If one of the people you approve for your research drops out then User Interviews automatically contacts the next person on the list that you approved. This was massively helpful because we did in fact have a someone drop out the day before the session but this software found someone in time. Life saver.

Inconvénients :

The interface when trying to look at each potential research participant felt a bit clunky. I had to open each person in a new tab.

Great resource for UX research

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Commentaires : Compared to user research recruiting agencies I’ve used in the past, User Interviews is much cheaper and provides the same quality for my domain.

Avantages :

User Interviews has consistently produced quality candidates for my UX research needs. Results are also quick, enabling me to set up a study within days. Customer support is also excellent. They’ve even notified me of mistakes in my screener.

Inconvénients :

There are a few inefficiencies in the app, making some common tasks a bit annoying but the team is open to feedback and I see regular improvements.

Brilliant!

4,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : We can't do research without it!

Avantages :

Reliable and inexpensive platform for both-person and remote moderated testing. Key features I enjoy are work calendar sync, visibility for other team members, participant validity, strong customer service, and a clean interface.

Inconvénients :

Nothing major at all. Only two minor things I'd like to see improved or added are: (1) filtering for screener questions and (2) message all participants rather than 1 by 1, especially for larger and remote studies.

Easy to use and great results!

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : My experience with User Interviews with top notch, and I have already recommended them to a number of colleagues in high tech companies around the Bay area. The customer support is responsive and knowledgeable and answered all my questions quickly. The price is also very reasonable in my opinion. User Interviews is my go-to company for user research.

Avantages :

I initially used User Interviews for recruiting remote online participants. Every participant was well qualified and there were no no-shows. That alone is an achievement.

Inconvénients :

There is no way to message all participants at once so you have to contact each one individually for things like NDA's. Not a big deal but it's the only thing I found that was less convenient.

Online consumer research studies can be legitimately facilitated by User Interviews.

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : The sharing of opinions and the influencing of future goods and services can be done for compensation.

Avantages :

A market research recruiting platform called User Interviews connects researchers with participants who are open to participating.Because interviews can provide us with a thorough grasp of the users' values, perceptions, and experiences, they can be a terrific approach to develop empathy for our users. If done properly and for the right purposes, user interviews can be very instructive and helpful. Knowing what I can and cannot anticipate from interviews is crucial.

Inconvénients :

It can be a little difficult to find candidates for my project if the identities I'm aiming for are very specific. The candidate messaging section of the platform has a few oddities, but everything else functions smoothly and promotes success.

User Interviews

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Commentaires : Yes, I love my experience with User Interviews. I would definitely recommend to any user or business who wants to obtain market information.

Avantages :

I am a user on User Interviews. It is very easy to use and keep track of participation. The customer service is very helpful and responsive. They are always trying to stay up to date and make things easier and interactive for users.

Inconvénients :

As a user, I would want to see what surveys I have already completed in terms of first signing up. I don't like how I can fill out the initial survey more than once.

Great tool but has room to grow.

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : It's a great tool! We love it! It meets our budget needs, helps us rapidly recruit people for different research and testing needs and people working at UI are simply great! always flexible and helpful!

Avantages :

Fairly easy, simple and affordable. Good for rapid recruitment of people for testing, interviews and other research needs.

Inconvénients :

There are several issues, not major ones, but definitely need improvements, such as ability to mix and match user types and not just lock us into a two type selection, also, when we approve users, it would be great if we could export data only of the participants and not entire list.

Use This

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Avantages :

I've user UserInterviews.com quite a few times, and it has worked out well every time. For all but my most specialized studies, I use it to find a great mix of participants in an easy & affordable manner. And if I do need some assistance from a human, they are always prompt & helpful.

Inconvénients :

Nothing, it works great for finding participants for most studies.

Alternatives envisagées précédemment :

Good platform but missing some critical features

3,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : It helps you find users to talk to! Some incredible and high-level users in User Interviews. Hope they deliver new features soon.

Avantages :

The product is very easy to use and has plans for every type of company. Project creation is smooth, you have all these filters to fine-tune the audience you're looking for and if that's not enough you can create screener questions that help do that.

Inconvénients :

The fact that they don't have a built-in conference/chat platform. This would help a lot in managing all the interviews and findings. It's very difficult to find users from specific and niche audiences. I had a project active for 1 month trying to interview 6 people but only got 2 valid users. To pause a project you have to reach out to customer support, there is no indication in the platform in how to do that.

Made my job so much easier!

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : Great user research tool for anyone handling the launching of projects and the coordination side of things.

Avantages :

I love how much manual effort this software saves me in terms of screening, scheduling, and compensating participants for research. Lots of time saved by these automated features! I also love that confirmation and reminder messages are sent automatically as well. SO helpful.

Inconvénients :

There are some functionalities that haven't been implemented yet, but the great thing about User Interviews is they are very open and communicative about improvements in the works.

Participant Perspective: Competitive, Mostly Gift Cards Pay

4,0 il y a 2 ans

Avantages :

From a participant's perspective, there are a few things that stands out about User Interviews: 1. The search filters helps you save tons of time 2. The interface is straight-forward, friendly and adaptable. 3. The pay is great, between $50-150 / study on average

Inconvénients :

My least favorite things: 1. It can be hard to get qualified for any of these studies. It quite of a hustle. 2. The qualification process through surveys is long and can be exhausting 3. They only offer gift cards as a payment method

Great for recruiting for usability testing

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : Highly reccomend, great return on investment.

Avantages :

I use User Interview to recruit participants for user testing at my current work and have been impressed with the participants they have been able to get for me. The quality of the participants for the demographic I need has always been great. I don't think I use everything their company offers but I love what I do use them for.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I can complain about is that the price of users is a bit high. For the time and energy it takes out of my work it's worth it to me, but it might not be to other companies.

After a slightly rough start, great service and lots of useful data

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : I was researching the giving habits of small donors (wo give between $1,000 and $10,000 annually). Within a few hours of my request going live, I had 150 responses. I interviewed five (so had a huge choice) but found the responses to my four selection questions extremely useful (am even writing an article based on those!). So I feel I got a double benefit - the live interviews and the data from the selection questions.

Avantages :

The customer service. The first time I filled out the new project form, I was rather confused and got a lot of things wrong. I asked for help and within minutes heard back from a customer service representative who took me through the process and even helped improve my questionnaire! Then I was assigned a staff person whom I contacted for further advice a few days later. I have rarely experienced such great, personalized customer service.

Inconvénients :

Filling out a new project questionnaire for the first time.

Great for helping with recruiting

5,0 l’année dernière

Commentaires : Overall, User Interviews makes recruiting much easier when running research projects. The best feature is there is a pay as you go plan, so even if your organization isn't conducting research constantly, you can recruit as needed.

Avantages :

I appreciate that I can recruit relatively easily. It makes scheduling and recruiting for research projects much simpler than it usually is.

Inconvénients :

I think that the biggest downside is there are not that many features outside of recruiting. I think that this is understandable given the cost, however.

Avantages :

It does a chunk of the recruiting work for me, they have a large database of users.

Inconvénients :

I don't have anything that I really dislike, it has the features I need.

A little more than mediocre

Commentaires : Overall, if you only need this for very basic use, this will work. However, if you are wanting to be more conformed to your specific company, I suggest looking elsewhere.

This is pretty easy to use with a simple design, almost a little too simple.

Inconvénients :

This needs to be a little more customizable and a little more stable.

Super support and value for my project

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : User Interviews unloads me with the logistics of running user research and expands on my ability to recruit. And when things don't work like I think they should, my User Interviews Project Manager figures out how to guide me or to make things work for me.

Avantages :

The software automates my recruiting process and reminders and scheduling.

Inconvénients :

Not all the email forms work perfectly and not all the parts function exactly as I'd want, but I make my needs known and make suggestions and they are welcome.
