I love the system. It is user friendly. Only area that needs attention is the e-mail templates.

Good morning Vic 1.The new version is simple to use . 2.The biggest advantage is that we can access it from anywhere; 3.Support has been great and there seem to be less issues

Inconvénients :

All good. In the beginning we had use both systems, which was a hassle.

My opinion

Commentaires : I'm very negative regarding Semper.
I find their accounting side totally unpractical and difficult for non-accounting people to use.
None of the info on reports is trustworthy or easy to categorize. Settings need to be changes again and again and again and one user's settings gets pulled over to all users.

Avantages :

I can log in remotely - that is the only thing remotely positive regarding Semper. To be fair... the previous system probably also have this option and it would probably be more streamlined than Semper's but never had need to use it before we switched to Semper

Inconvénients :

Data 100% unreliable and everything needs to be double checked. A HUGE problem if you try to pull an annual report.

General Product review

Commentaires : Generally good experience to-date but I know that Semper is aimed more at the Hotel and B&B industry and thus certain parts of the product do not apply to Caravan Resorts

Avantages :

The product is very "User Friendly". I am a relatively new user and thus I am learning every day as to what the product has to offer. I am inquisitive by nature and I am always looking for new methods to achieve the results we require. Generally the support we get from the Semper Help-Desk is very good.

Inconvénients :

I have not had any negative experiences to-date or cannot state what I do not like as I still have to get to know the product in more detail.

I can get my report and present on time. Auditing what the front office, bar and restaurant is very easy

Commentaires : Overall experiences are very satisfied with good product and friendly assisting group of people.

Avantages :

Semper is an easy to use excel base system that is very self-exoplanetary. The support team is very friendly and extremely patient. The system self can be adjusted to suit the company's needs to an extent. It is also very easy to correct errors. In general, both the reservation system and POS system is very user friendly.

Inconvénients :

The financial side and reports can use a bit more attention.

The 24 hour support center is the cherry on the top!

Inconvénients :

I cannot fault Semper on anything. In my almost 3 months at the guest house, I have had no complaints.

Commentaires : It’s been very stressful to use especially with lack of support after installation which is not what we were told when the advertising was done.

Avantages :

I was told it will make me stress free when is come to warehouse accountability

Inconvénients :

The lack of support when we asked our local product provider to see the errors that happen when we installed it. We are so concerned about this and now they are adding a new charge.

Commentaires : I started out being totally intimidated by it, but it has grown on me and now I do not want to use any other system for now.

Avantages :

I like all the different aspects of Semper, especially all the different reports you can generate.

Inconvénients :

Some aspects are a bit over-complicated to get a hang of if you did not receive proper training from the start, e.g. setting up rates, invoice structure, etc.

Finding the Rights Admin System for Your Hospitality Company

Costs Gets Expensive with other systems also required & it all adds Up. So one has to make sure the system works for their Company

Avantages :

Relatively easy to use, logical process. Modifications to bookings are generally easy.

Inconvénients :

Refund process, no opportunity to rectify or change once committed, forced to do work arounds for incorrect or amended entry.

User Friendly with glitches

Commentaires : Overall good, we have a very good support person on call to assist when needed.

The system is user friendly and easy to navigate

Inconvénients :

When updates are done there are often problems with reports or features that no longer work. Some basic functions are different from other PMS systems which takes some getting used to.

the stock system - record and ease of checking as supervisor and correcting entering of items Printing - can not print only one for instance good received note - every time everything of the day have to then copy paste or select General ledger integration
