Commentaires : We switched to Humi from a lesser Canadian provider and every day since I have kicked myself for not doing it sooner. The system is so simple and intuitive to use, the customer support is top notch and it makes us look professional. We never have anything to worry about with Humi!

Avantages :

The payroll is so simple to use, the time and vacation tracker has saved us a ton of time and the offer letter/onboarding process is seamless. There isn't an aspect of Humi that we don't like!

Inconvénients :

Nothing! We have been very impressed with everything from the implementation to the day to day.

Commentaires : The overall experience has been great. I brought Humi into a former company and the one I am currently with.

Avantages :

Humi is incredibly easy for employees to use. We use it for recruiting, hiring/onboarding, employee performance reviews, payroll, and offboarding. As the main administrator, I find Humi extremely straightforward and able to get all the information I need.

Inconvénients :

The performance section is overall good but, compared to other survey software such as Survey Monkey, it is not as advanced. The goal setting can be a bit confusing.

User friendly; poor reporting

Commentaires : Overall, the software is user-friendly and meets our basic needs. We moved payroll to another provider due to errors. Humi has been very focused on developing its scheduling platform and as a result, other improvements and suggestions for feature enhancements have been largely ignored. I am hopefully that they will continue to develop and make the software more efficient.

Avantages :

Humi has made a number of improvements to its applicant tracking/recruiting systems and we are satisfied with this program. There could be further improvements to make it more efficient but overall, it works.

Inconvénients :

The reporting tools have been very disappointing and not usable in most cases. A basic turnover report with analytics is very important to us and we do not currently have this ability.

Commentaires : We likle humi - we still have a few complaints from the supervisors regarding the english and the performance that are long (every question needs an answer)

Avantages :

Easy to understand and to use I love the fact that I can connect as someone else to show them where to go

The translation from english to french The fact that the supervisors can't accept / deny vacations on the email The fact that the employee can't search in the documents (only the admin")

Commentaires : The software has been working extremely well for us and the Humi onboarding and support staff have been very good. The value is exceptional.

Avantages :

Being Canadian based, Humi accommodated all of our needs as a Canadian company. It was especially great that the time-off system accommodates multiple workweek schedules to easily handle 4-day and 5-day workweeks that we use.

Inconvénients :

The biggest deficiency is the lack of a mobile app to interface the software. The web site is also not particularly good on mobile browsers so the most important functionality: time-off requests and approvals, need to be done on a computer. These are table stakes for a modern HRIS these days.

Commentaires : Great- this has been a large time saver - we have gone from having more than two staff members full time handling HR to one person with a office support staff worker. this has reduced our overall overhead.

Avantages :

the ease of user use. the ability to make our own templates. the ability to link multiple companies under an umbrella. end-user use is easy to use and very intuitive

Inconvénients :

when we are working towards goals on beta modes- we want to be more involved. love the changes they have made so far!

Commentaires : I think Humi is great and I would recommend it to any Canadian HR professional

Avantages :

Time off, document management and onboarding keeps everything in one place allows more time for HR to focus on other tasks and less time on administration

Inconvénients :

I find there are some navigation issues sometimes. ie. time off taking you back to the main page when you just want to be in an employee's profile. Surveys also are not the best with the new data as you cannot see separate surveys anymore

Humi is a game changer

Avantages :

The first thing you notice when you get onto Humi is how clean the design is. Wow Wow Wow. Usually my employees have trouble navigating softwares, but with Humi, my employees have become very independent. They just launched the Humi Go App which allows them to request Time-Off, and see their balances on their phone. No more email exchanges or paper forms for this gal! It was hard to find a Canadian company that did everything I needed until I found Humi. Whether it was just storing employee data, running payroll, or even administering benefits, they handled it all. Its nice to have one point of source for all your internal employee needs. There is so much in the system its hard to get into everything but some of the best features are; the document center (where you can upload, edit and send out documents for signature, customized to each employee), onboarding (digitally on-board new hires to the company where they can sign contracts, fill out personal details, and access their own employee platform), and time-off (easily set up leave types and track leave for all employees). Their integrated Payroll is the icing on the cake. It really reduced the errors we had from transferring our changes to our old clunky payroll system (ADP). The buying process was very quick and simple. We had a couple demos to showcase the platform and then we had the pricing conversation. Price is per employee and on a month to month basis and they didn't charge us for implementation which was superb.

Inconvénients :

There were a couple things they do not have that would be helpful. We currently have a couple hourly employees, and they don't have a clock in/clock out system. However we use the additional fields section to track these.

Humi - good value for product

Commentaires : Positive experience after using the software for 1.5 years. Some early challenges in the first few months but after that very easy to use.

Avantages :

Easy to use, employees like the interface.

Inconvénients :

Some functionality on the payroll side is awkward and not easily adjustable without having to go through the Help Desk to do back end changes. The help desk is not easy to access all the time as you have to send an email and wait for them to respond. Humi does not directly submit T4's to CRA. Have to use ROE Web to access your ROE's.

Avantages :

Running payroll is easy, reporting at the end of the year is straightforward support team are typically fast and helpful. Great value for money!

Inconvénients :

Would love to have payroll reports for specific employees. Some bugs here and there but the team is open to learning about them.

Closest thing to an assistant!

Commentaires : Overall very user friendly as a platform, helpful for staff to navigate by themselves and easy reporting /custom reporting. Support teams are always helpful and kind!

Avantages :

Having multiple products in one place makes it convenient to comply with regulations and get staff set up for success

Inconvénients :

Some of the areas that fall in between categories (ex: payroll & benefits; deductions from payroll re: benefits contribution) can be difficult to figure out as the payroll support and benefits support are different people and neither may have the answers you are looking for

Commentaires : Overall, Humi was great at ensuring our teams were able to easily keep track of things like vacation time and other company updates. It's ease of use makes it a very attractive software product.

Avantages :

Humi is extremely easy to use. It helps our teams stayed organized and up-to-date. Compared to similar softwares, Humi has been the most intuitive.

Inconvénients :

The only downside to Humi was that it didn't directly connect with our benefits provider -- being able to connect directly with our benefits provider would make it much more convenient.

Helpful to track and store all HR information!

Commentaires : It's been a great asset to our company to track and store all our HR files in the cloud rather than storing hard copies in the office.

Avantages :

Storing all HR info in one secure place is very handy. It's also great that it allows employees to request days off and automatically tracks these against their alloted time off.

Inconvénients :

The documents are clunky and it's hard to personalize them to each employee. I wish more customization was possible so that you could have one form that could be filled out by each employee.

Commentaires : Our original purpose for the system was vacation tracking. It met that need and we tried to make further use of the systems capabilities but it is not flexible enough for us to deploy it across the team.

Avantages :

It's a Canadian product, that was the first draw. It works well to track vacation and manage leaves

Inconvénients :

The compensation tracking is lacking - targets/actuals for incentive pay, the performance management system is not flexible and does not allow us to follow our preferred methodology (sequence of reviews)

HUMI review

Commentaires : Working with HUMI for the past couple of years from the rollout to the upkeep has had some challenges but the HUMI team is always quick to offer a helping hand. As the system continues to iron out its functions and build them out further it can only push to help the overall experience.

Avantages :

I appreciate the ability to onboard employees with ease and keep up to date employee profiles. I appreciate how easy it is to upload and assign documents as in a financial institution there is a lot of annual documents. The task function is also amazing.

Inconvénients :

There are some glitches with the time off function (i.e. we have a cap of 50 sick days for some staff and sometimes the accruals are off). The functionality in the performance evaluation and survey builder is not ideal currently.

Avantages :

We use Humi for everything from time off, performance evaluation, employee surveys, goal setting, and more.

Inconvénients :

They seem to be working hard to continuously add on features. Always seem to see something new under the 'whats new ' notification.

Still too much manual work required

Commentaires : It was OK for a short time, we had hopes that investments were being made into the product but nothing has changed over the last year and a half that adds enough value for us to continue using it. Will be switching to a new platform in the new year – probably bamboo.

Avantages :

It has some good basic features and pricing was better than other options, unfortunately for a scaling business we need something more robust.

Inconvénients :

The reporting dashboard and performance management are the weakest modules, we need to export information in order to pull any meaningful insights. Customer support also not a highlight.

Commentaires : The people are great and want to do a good job, however overall the platform need much more development time and dollars to make this system comparable to other platforms. Although the subscription is attractive, but when you compare you need to await for future developments.

The platform performs the basic functions, but the platform does the best is the people.

Inconvénients :

They have a lot on their to-do list, but when you get access to the system you start to understand it is very much in the very early development stages.

Very Simple and Basic

Avantages :

This software is very simple and basic. If your company doesn't not have an HRIS system, this would be a great starter software.

Inconvénients :

Once a company gets larger and more complex, Humi will not be able to support the company in its current capacity. Still fairly new and many of their features are still in production.

serious lack of support

Commentaires : sadly lacking in support, which is the only lens I can see this company through at this time.

Avantages :

ease of use.

Inconvénients :

rakes a week or longer, to resolve most tickets, as no one live answers the phone...EVER! wait for days for return call or response to email. have asked what service standard is for turnaround time on open tickets...and...no surprise, still no response yet (24 hours ago). this is a new software company and program which has modules that their willing to sell you, but are actually still in Beta Testing stage (Recruitment module@ $100 p/month)
