Commentaires : Hippel video is an outstanding video marketing platform and I highly recommend anyone who has considered any other product to take a second look at this product. Unfortunately, customer services have fallen to the wayside and I am sure a lot of people who are reading this review can agree. It was very wholesome and pleasant to see that this company still maintained that old-fashioned way of taking care of the customer until they are satisfied and making sure that the product met the customer's expectations. I highly recommend the Hippo Video!

Avantages :

It just works! Prior to Hippo Video, I had another tool that 'allegedly' served the same purpose and it NEVER worked! I will admit there were some initial hiccups with onboarding; however, I am still in awe of how above and beyond the customer service team went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. There is a time zone difference between our countries. When I'm at the hospital for consecutive days, I, unfortunately, miss many emails and attempts at correspondence. This didn't stop the Hippo Technician who literally left a message with my office when he was not successful in reaching me by phone. I have never experienced customer service like that before. Very patient, very professional, high quality and just - I'm out of adjectives....it's just an outstanding product and team!

Has most of the features I was seeking

Commentaires : Tech support was responsive via chat. I didn't have to wait long for a technician who helped me troubleshoot my problem. The interface isn't clear in some cases, but once you learn where to find the functions, the software works well. I've been watching the video email space for a while, waiting for a product that would do more than just record and send videos. Hippo Video, with its landing pages, teleprompter, and variable text offers functionality I think I will use and have not seen in competing products.

Avantages :

Recording a video is easy, but what convinced me to try Hippo Video were the landing pages. I have not yet fully exploited this capability but intend to construct custom landing pages designed to get customers and prospects to take action. The ability to add more videos and documents to the landing page provides the opportunity to highlight aspects of my services that would be otherwise communicated through email attachments or clicking on links, which some people are hesitant to do. I have recorded from the camera alone to make personalized one-off messages to selected customers, with good results. They watched the videos and responded to set up meetings. I also made a video with screen recording. That worked OK and I liked being able to show material as I was talking about it. I plan to do more of this.

Inconvénients :

I was disappointed that I Hippo Video could not interface with my desktop version of Outlook 365, but I bought the software anyway. After making a video, the software supplies a link and an animated GIF that I can easily paste into an outbound Outlook email message. It's an extra step, but was not a deal-breaker for me. I struggled with the screen capture interface at first. It wasn't clear that Hippo started another instance of the browser. I kept looking for something to be happening on my screen, never realizing Hippo was waiting for me to respond on the second browser screen. Once I figured that out, the process went smoothly.

Bringing Customer Engagement to Life

Avantages :

I like the capability to create 1:1 introductory videos with ease and customize an accompanying landing page. This has made it super easy for our CSMs to create personalized introduction videos going to their assigned accounts. We also liked the ability to create video hubs to easily share curated resources with specific accounts.

Inconvénients :

I think the new AI enabled features are very exciting but could use some polishing as they do not look very realistic. In addition, the team did experience some bugs while utilizing the features above. However, the Support team at Hippo were very responsive and helpful in troubleshooting.

Commentaires : A great tool to send videos to prospects and scale the outreach without compromising the quality.

Avantages :

Personalization at scale is made easy with Hippo, a few simple clicks and you can fill video snippets to change a premade video.

Inconvénients :

Editing functions are not super fast, and the "pro edit" feature takes a while to load. This is not a blocker, but it does limit the number of contacts a salesperson can hiper-personalize the contact per day.

A great software to make videos and share it

Commentaires : There is a good experience to use Hippo Video and make screen recordings easily and share it without so many steps, as some other software required. Also, this software has a very good price to buy the program and the assistance is very watchful of the users' needs.

Hippo Video has a good variety of functionalities to make screen recordings and marketing videos across email platforms and others. Also, its price is very good for the features of this software.

Inconvénients :

Some functions on integration with other software are not very good. Hippo Video has some trouble with the extension for web browsers.

Commentaires : It's a very good tool. I would recommend it to anybody who need a quick and easy way to make videos and store them online.

Avantages :

I love the fact that it integrates with Zoom. I can record my classes and have them hosted in my account. It's a powerful video tool. I love the video player. I especially love the Teleprompter option. The video tutorials are a very thoughtful touch.

Inconvénients :

I am a teacher, I wish the features for teachers were included in my plan.

The interface is very easy to use this software. The tools it has are also quite sufficient and useful.

Inconvénients :

The limit on video quality needs to be rearranged. I think I deserve better video quality for the price I paid

Commentaires : I use it to record screen to create How-To videos.
I use it too to help my client when they have a problem with a software or Wordpress. I create a video to show them what they have to do and they keep the video as a reminder.

Effective Tool For Making Instructional Videos!

Commentaires : Simple yet beneficial! In the case of creating a project plan, it saves a ton of time. I use Zoom to record the meeting and cut out the necessary footage. Done! An essential tool for managers or team leaders.

Avantages :

It enables me to record the client requirements as they provide them and later on edit them accordingly. This provides a perfect notion for my team. Everyone gets a proper guide to it. Additionally ideal for creating instructional videos. I love using it since it works with numerous platforms and can be accessed online.

Inconvénients :

It lacks several features necessary to provide more modern content. With time comes more competition, which calls for adding additional features.

A no frills screen recorder that anyone can use

Commentaires : Hippo Video remains in my extensions for spontaneous clip grabbing I know will turn out well. However, I outgrew it for most uses within weeks of my first use.

Hippo video is a friendly, simple way to record your screen. Videos are downloadable in various levels of resolution and formats, with direct sharing to many social media platforms.

Inconvénients :

Slow processing times, limited editing, and no publishing resources make this best for beginners as even moderately seasoned video creators will find themselves funneling their Hippo videos directly into other video software to give them needed polish.

Commentaires : We can easily communicate with a team, clients, customers. The videos can be edited in so many ways we even record training for new employees.

Avantages :

The interface. It is awesome and very user-friendly. The app is full of features that do not exist in another app. We used Loom, Cloudapp, but nothing comes to be so intuitive and well thought out as Hippo Video. The team, they are extremely responsive and fast to implement new features!

Inconvénients :

There is nothing to dislike, but improvement can be just a release of new awesome features for business world!

Avantages :

The product is easy to use provided you have a strong internet connection. I have only used it for meeting recordings and yet to use the other features but so far it has been great.

Still yet to find out. As I continue making use of it and accessing all features, I will give any additional remark I might have.

Our experience has been great! Their executive has been responsive and attentive without being too much.

Avantages :

It's very very easy to use. I enjoy being able to record and share responses to help desk customers as well and view videos from my team here at the office on new features/ideas we need to discuss.

Inconvénients :

At times the quality is low/uploading is slow. This could have a few different problem sources, I'm still working out all of the kinks linked.

It's very user friendly & does not require a lot of training or assistance. The support team is also very helpful & always available to solve issues or assist with queries. The tool is reasonably priced & offers a lot of features that help amateur users can use to create videos.

Inconvénients :

Wish it had the option to remove the Hippo branding in the video or add your own logo maybe. At times, corporate videos are shared across channels & using another companies' logo might confuse the end viewer as to who is the actual company.

My Hippo Video Experience

Avantages :

After using the Free trial version for a while , I liked that the app is some kind of easy to use , easy screen recording and the videos is available to be downloaded

Inconvénients :

My personal concern with this software is about it's Web extension , repeated crashing specially with chrome extension which needed to solved and badly effects my experience as a usersecond , the free version isn't having too much features as the paid so needs to be developed a little bit
