Easy to use, beautiful product with great support!

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Avantages :

Ease of use - our non-legal stakeholders can intuitively use the product and love how it works! Clean UI - no unnecessary options, everything make sense Great support - very responsible support who've been able to help us out in a pinch The self-service option is getting better and better - excited about the potential!

Inconvénients :

Wish that some of the newer features would be implemented into the older workflows faster (we are just now finding out about some features that have been available for a long time but weren't reflected in our workflows)

An easier, more streamlined CLM system.

4,0 il y a 2 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : Overall experience has been so positive that we are going to move off of DocuSign entirely and over to Ironclad. We believe they are better positioned with their product roadmap to support our company as we scale in the coming years.

Avantages :

The user interface is a lot cleaner than most other CLM software, and it's clearly been designed with integrations in mind. It's a surprise when these integrations don't work perfectly, because usually they do.

Inconvénients :

As a very forward-looking product, I wish there was more prescriptiveness within the product that shows you what best-in-class CLM looks like. As it exists, it's very choose your own adventure which is daunting if you don't have a full-time admin.

Good but not Great

3,0 il y a 6 ans

Avantages :

It's functionality is great. The report system adds a true value in helping the firms/company to increase efficiency. It minimizes effort in versioning up and having a comment section is great in keeping all the notes. Being able to store metadata is crucial in terms of renewal.

Inconvénients :

It's just not great. It can be better. Non-legal background users have hard time understanding the process. These process and system is very foreign to them and it doesn't resemble any other software that they use. So it takes a long time for them to understand the importance of versions, redlining, and metadata. Not being able to upload PDF is a big issue. Building a brand new workflow or tweak a bit takes too much time to build. There's not enough self producing(despite Blueprint) and self control in admin's perspective and we have to reply on Ironclad's support team most of the times. I don't think that's efficient in either side.

Digital contracts are the future

Avantages :

Would recommend Ironclad specially if you are looking for a CLM to integrate with Salesforce.

Inconvénients :

We are unable to upload images into our contracts. If you are planning to have a 100% automated process for contract generation, consider this roadblock.

Easy to use contracts management software

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Great experience overall. The software is easy to get up to speed for a regular user (editing documents, approving documents, signing) and the academy resources and quality of tech support has made it very easy to be an admin and to implement new asks from internal stakeholders.

Avantages :

The ability to customize workflows is extremely useful. You can create conditional approvals and the assignment of signers which lets you route documents to the correct department/internal stakeholder with ease. In a larger organization this is key to avoid slowdowns associated with manually assigning work rather than having set rules for distribution. Additionally, you can heavily customize the launch pages that generate workflows to not only generate custom terms within document templates but capture that data to be able to report on and track not just numbers of contracts but even track individual uses of certain non-standard clauses.

Inconvénients :

The reporting features are excellent but ultimately focused on overall company performance and tracking of document types rather than individual user performance. For example its great to track SaaS agreements and how many were issued and what non-default terms were used but its not great at tracking an individual user's productivity. Not a business critical function by any means but certainly some more room to expand the reporting capacity. As this is a newer feature I have no doubt that improvements will be made overtime and in my time using IronClad they have added numerous new features that improve the user/admin experience so I have no doubt this will improve in the future.

Ironclad is a top tier contract management platform.

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Avantages :

The template editor is my personal favorite feature. Creating clauses or "if/then" edits allowed us to create more contract templates than we initially thought. The editor is super easy to use, but the Ironclad "Academy" has helped me on several occasions. I was able to get answers to my question without reaching out to the Ironclad support team.

Inconvénients :

As of today, I have not seen any downsides to this product.

Highly recommend!

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : As a new user over the last couple months my experience with Ironclad has been great. Ironclad support has been really helpful and responds quickly. They listen to the feedback of their customers to always try and improve the system to fit the needs of their customers.

Avantages :

I love the design of the system and is very user friendly. The dashboard shows the exact stage the workflow is in. Communicating with the internal and external team is really helpful to track the progress and changes of the workflow. The metadata makes is really easy to see all the important information related to the contract.

Inconvénients :

A contract status feature showing which contracts are currently active or have been terminated or expired but am aware this feature should be released in a future update. Some more resources on how to create custom formulas for workflow designs would be helpful.

Efficient and Easy to Use

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Ironclad is great overall, I love the system

Avantages :

The workflow designer tool is really easy to use since its features are logical. I really like how the answers can be email address captured as an email instead of just a text box. This capturing of true values really helps when building out our repository

Inconvénients :

I would like the 'turn's function to allow for each approver to have a turn function or to accurately show when the in house attorney is really reviewing the agreement and how long it has taken them as the approver. we have 5 different approvers in our workflow one from each department and the attorney is the one who is using the turn feature but it incorrectly is adding in 'days' or time when other approvers are doing their checks. ideally we would like the 'turn' function to be on an individual level.

Ironclad Review

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Avantages :

I actually just have learned about it for a new project, but the ease of use is commendable. Learning how to create online forms through Ironclad is very user-friendly and will only take you a few minutes to finish one. You can also give quick edits to your form if after doing QA you saw that something needs to be modified.

Inconvénients :

Least I like about it is the few options to choose from to go over about editing texts e.g. option to highlight specific information that is an important to be filled-out in a form.

IronClad is super good!

Commentaires : This is a great product with little or no training required. Highly recommend for a start up small to mid size business.

Avantages :

I love the audit trail, I like the fact every change is tracked and versioned for any updates and that fact any change to any stakeholders is communicated it keeps everyone on the same page.

Inconvénients :

Very little to dislike in my role the changes are bearable as I review rather than amend contracts but it could get cumbersome with multiple changes depending the size of the team involved in contract changes.

Commentaires : We are very pleased using IronClad.

Avantages :

IronClad Customer Support has been really responsive and they are always on top of their game. Most of the time, getting a resolution can take a couple of days elsewhere but with IronClad that is not the case, and for that I am grateful. Thank you

Inconvénients :

There are very minimal things that I dislike about IronClad from an IT perspective, and that is the SAML integration instructions. Other than that, we are very pleased.

The Impact of Ironclad on Contract Management Efficiency

4,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : It has greatly streamlined and improved the management of contracts thanks to its user-friendly interface and cutting-edge features. I've gained a significant amount of time thanks to the platform's ability to automate contract requests, approvals, and reporting, which has allowed me to concentrate on other crucial tasks. The ability of Ironclad to uphold the security and confidentiality of sensitive contract information is another important insight I've gained from using it. I feel confident knowing that confidential information is protected thanks to the platform's role-based access and audit trails, which guarantee that only authorized users have access to crucial contract data.

Avantages :

It is simple to use and has an intuitive layout that makes it simple to navigate. We have saved a significant amount of time and effort by being able to draft, negotiate, sign, and manage all of our contracts in a single, centralized location. Its conditional approval workflows, which guarantee that each contract is reviewed by the appropriate party and nobody else, are one of the platform's standout features. This has greatly improved the effectiveness of our contract review process and removed bottlenecks. We have saved a ton of time during the contract drafting process by using the clause library and pre-approved templates, which are both excellent resources. Its ability to facilitate collaboration is another major benefit. The platform enables collaboration between our teams, clients, and suppliers, greatly simplifying the signing and approval of contracts. We can negotiate contracts more successfully and keep everyone on the same page thanks to the private comments and versioning features.

Inconvénients :

The interface can occasionally be confusing, making it challenging to navigate and find the desired feature or option. This is one issue I've run into. Additionally, it is possible for the software to take a long time to load, which can be annoying and reduce efficiency. The limited customization options are another issue because it can be challenging to fully tailor the software to meet the particular requirements of my organization. Last but not least, customer service can be patchy and response times can be slow, leaving me without a solution to my issue for longer periods of time. Despite Ironclad's advantages, these drawbacks have diminished my satisfaction with the platform as a whole.

Powerful but rigid tool that covers all the needs of SMBs

4,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Contract workflows took some time to create and perfect but the functionalities are there, though sometimes not apparent.
- Customer Service is helpful and turnaround time is usually 1-2 days.
- UI is passable. Takes some time for end-user to learn.
- Contract management - Database is useful, with no powerful proximity search like some competitors, but it's functional. Version control is built-in and apparent.

Avantages :

- The ability to send and receive new versions of documents through email without the need to download/upload to existing Ironclad workflow is very convenient. - Built-in text editor with ability to @comment someone in-line is useful for minor redlines and collaborating internally (but UI still needs work). - Activity feed and email tracking (when enabled through a CC) allows for storage of discussions around redlines so that future teammates can look back at contract negotiations without having an admin search through a previous employee's inbox, for example. - Salesforce integration works flawlessly - Docusign integration lacks visibility but it's good enough

Inconvénients :

- Getting workflows set up to cover possible permutations and outliers was 2 months-long, aggravating experience. The problem lies in that changes to a workflow template will not affect in-flight contracts, so you would have to take the docs out of Ironclad and go through email/Docusign, which cancels the need for Ironclad. Most of the time, you don't discover you need to change a workflow until you are already in the middle of contract negotiations. Some examples: - Our signer was OOO, but we did not set up a backup signer in the workflow template. All of his in-flight contracts had to be restarted or taken down to email and counterparties had to be contacted manually. - An in-flight contract needed to add an addendum page to the packet, and this doc had to be signed by Counterparty. However, we didn't build-in an addendum page possibility into the workflow, so we couldn't get it signed along with existing docs. Had to download all and go through email/Docusign, then re-upload to Ironclad repository.

Best Thing to Streamline Our Contracting Process

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Avantages :

Since we use a lot of the same agreements project after project, it is critical to save time through standardization and automation. Ironclad encouraged us to take that step to facilitate the contracting process to get contracts signed faster than we ever have. The Support team is also amazing, as I've recommended features that have been implemented in later versions of the program, and they really listen to their users and want to make sure we are taking advantage of all Ironclad has to offer. And our business users absolutely love it!

Inconvénients :

I can't really say there is anything I like least about the software because I know that it is constantly changing and improving. Whatever I say I don't like about it now, I'm sure there will likely be an update in the future that will remedy it.

Ironclad Review

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Overall I have nothing but good things to say about Ironclad. Each Ironclad representative I have had the pleasure to speak with has been polite, helpful and professional. The application itself has been so easy to use, I have really enjoyed building out the workflows and training my team, and I have no programming application background at all. I would highly recommend this application to anyone. You will not regret using Ironclad.

Avantages :

I like how easy the application is. I took the Developer training and was ready to build out the workflows after the first training session. It was easy to pick-up and I felt like Ironclad gave me all the tools I need to be successful right out of the gate. The customer service has never been lacking, from the first day until now, and the application is so easy to use, it has been easy to roll the application out for everyone and get them in and using it with ease.

Inconvénients :

I see a lot of potential with the application, as for as additional functionality. And when I have offered suggestions to Ironclad, I do feel like they have taken these suggestion and actually implemented them. The only true Con I can think of is a better "audit" trail of the back end (like somewhere to see a date and time stamp of when users are added, removed, given permissions, etc.)

Valuable contract flow tool for busy legal teams

5,0 il y a 4 ans

Commentaires : Ironclad helps to solve the manual processes that were inherent to contract negotiation and I've had great success in streamlining the contract negotiation process to the point that my internal business partners can self server most contracts without my review at all based on our pre-determined fields.

Avantages :

Ironclad has a suite of contract tools that allow for internal teams to easily and quickly get contracts sent out for review without heavy involvement by the legal team. The platform has an intuitive revision flow that makes it clear what redlines have been made so legal teams can quickly pinpoint where to focus their energy and compare versioning in one platform, and once completed send the document out for signature and archive it in our cloud storage platform of choice. Ironclad has really helped remove some of the painful manual contract review processes I had to deal with and allows me to spend my time more wisely on other legal issues rather than on more administrative contract processes.

Inconvénients :

As a new user it takes a little time to learn how to use the platform correctly as a new user, and I wish there were better resources available for self learning on how to best use Ironclad's various features. However, once you get up to speed with Ironclad it's easy to build some very useful workflows without much more guidance.
