Being the administrator of Integrated Hospice helps me a lot of lessen my work load especially when we have a new hire staff to educate and train with the software.
Not too many cons I have run into - few little glitches but they were usually my misunderstanding. The only one I encounter is in scheduling.

NetHealth Wound Care EHR
Commentaires : Love the system. Has been using it since 2009. And with the addition of Tissue Analytics for wound imaging (been using it since 2016) it has made for a well-rounded electronic health record. They are constantly updating and upgrading to improve the system and keep up with industry trends. Highly recommend it.
Avantages :
Customer service. Other relevant points are medical record of patient progress, documentation of insurance billing/coding, up-to-date with regulatory agency guidelines and standards to keep us protected. It is fully customizable removing the assembly-line medical record format customary of many electronic health records. Which by the way can get the facility in trouble as these assembly-line formats tend to turn staff into zombies and numb their critical thinking skills
Inconvénients :
As with all systems, there is always a wish list of things that you think might make your life easier. However, that wish list is specific to our setting and may not be applicable to every facility that uses NetHealth. They do offer a venue called "Communities" by which users can make change requests for consideration and allows other users to give feedback as to its usefulness of lack thereof.

Commentaires : From the beginning we have had great support and we had great training in the beginning.
Avantages :
The first aid staff love it. Using this has made their jobs much easier.

Occasionally we will have to do complete reboots of the system because a user locks up.
NetHealth is Just Terrible
Commentaires : With 24 years of experience in this industry, NetHealth is terrible, layout is bad, functionality is poor, innovation is non-existent.
Avantages :
Nothing really, if it's the only alternative to hand written documentation it's better.
Inconvénients :
Organization of features, lack of fluidity moving through documentation. CONSTANT errors with viewing/printing documentation. Moves very slowly to display documentation, only limitations on what you can view at the same time.
Net Health Occupational Medicine
Commentaires : Very happy overall with Net Health. Having been using for 5 years.
Avantages :
Ease of scheduling and EMR charting. Valuable analytics.
Inconvénients :
Building wizards/widgets. Unable to easily add late fees to bills.

Net Health XFit is for Therapy Documentation
Commentaires : Awesome...from technical support and the quickness issues are resolved, to the implementation team making sure all are trained and ready for "go live", to follow up meetings to make sure you are maximizing the functionality of your reports.
Avantages :
The way the documentation can be customized not only based on the patient's issues, but to a particular therapist. Choosing what the evaluation is for to what "special tests" you want/like. The flow of the document from evaluation to treatment note to Progress note to Discharge. No need for looking back to old notes or trying to rely on memory what special tests to consider. The implementation to interfacing with our current billing and medical records storages was seamless and Net Health worked well with other areas to ensure all aspects of billing, storage, and staff training were provided and accomplished.
Inconvénients :
There are some glitches that occur- although small. The biggest is that with our system--each account must be closed and a new account opened each month. If there is a gap in care, say a month goes by, you have to manually generate a new account. If the "treatment cycle" is not worded as the initial one was, the flow of documentation ceases. The system thinks that there is a "new" cycle and the notes should not flow with prior cycle.
Not the Greatest Choice
Commentaires : I would not recommend using NetHealth due to their lack of customer support and service, if you have a choice. There are many others out there to utilize and that is affordable.
Avantages :
NetHealth does provide the info needed and works with many other EHR softwares.
Inconvénients :
The customer service works at their bare minimum. It takes days/weeks to get a solution or for someone to contact the business back when there is a technical issue.
Optima HospiceSoft program review
Avantages :
I feel the Software is user friendly. I particularly appreciate the quick Feedback option where you can send an email with questions. Optima staff respond most often on the same day with a phone call. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our questions are answered and understood. I appreciate they take the time to work with us on a one to one basis if necessary to solve any issues or concerns we may have.
Inconvénients :
At times I wish it could be more simplified. There seems to be repetitive layers that can be cumbersome to get through.
Solid Query Tool for a Team
Commentaires : Aginity is an excellent tool for our team, and everyone can become productive in a short amount of time. It is very intuitive.
Avantages :
Our team has standardized on Aginity as the query tool. It is reasonably priced, provides great support, and is easy to use. Recently, Aginity has moved from using email addresses to keys for tracking licenses, making the administration significantly easier. The Aginity support team is ALWAYS responsible in a timely manner and works the issue to completion.
Inconvénients :
One feature that I would like to see is IntelliSense and autocomplete. The error messages have improved, but I would like to see more specific suggestions.
Alternative EMR to Epic
Commentaires : I used the system for almost 2 years and the training sessions really help you to understand how to perform what you need to do on it.
Avantages :
The software has security features that EPIC does not have the current capabilities to perform.
Inconvénients :
There are at times a few more steps to get certain processes done that not all EMR's require, however the system is easy to undo any mistakes that are done.
Poor implementation, lack of support and poor features. Tissue analytics does not work well!
Commentaires : No positive words, our journey has been difficult, and we have had to keep our old EMR for the essential functions and this adds to our expense.
Avantages :
We enjoy the features that allow for easy billing.
Inconvénients :
We regret being talked into the purchase of this EMR. We thought we were upgrading. Instead we have no ability to fax documents out of the system, no ability to assign a task to a staff member, where the patient's chart opens up . Tissue analytics is not healful in measuring the wound, every measurement has to be manually corrected. We have reached out to support to the point that they are sick of us. Especially when our providers needed precription abilities, this took 2.5 months. We were advised to write about all of our concerns into the "communities" section and we have done so, but we are still waiting for basic features in even the older and cheaper EMRs that allow us to fax out referrals, e-prescribe with no problems, and use applications that actually work for tissue imaging.
Worse and horrible ever experienced software.
Commentaires : I am PT with 8 years of experience and worked in multiple settings and used various different software for documentation. So far, the casamba is the most non- professional software with inappropriate content which is made only to try to suck money from the insurance companies. It is a huge pain to the therapist to spend around 30 minutes to type one PT eval rather than spending that precious time on the patient care. All components of casamba are framed in such a way so that the facilities can claim more and more on the billing. I strongly urge to review or revise the software and make it user friendly.
Avantages :
As a ethical and professional therapist, I like nothing about this software. As a business owner, this software is great since it determines the most easiest ways to claim high billing to the insurance companies. That's one of the most common reasons, why the SNF's love this software.

Net Health, like other large entities has grown at such a rapid pace, that the support structure needs some attention, with its expanding arm of business.
OPtima is Awesome
Avantages :
The software is very user friendly, and the support staff is always helpful. My organization is grateful for the ease and convenience the software provides. The management reports are user friendly and provide a great deal of information for marketing.
Inconvénients :
The documentation does not include spell check. This is somewhat of a concern due to the increased use of "txt language" Another con, would be the limited amount required for creating documents unique to the patients. Therapists at times can be in such a hurry, and the software doesn't require a great deal uniqueness of patient documentation.... of course it is each therapists responsibility to document for each patient.
Net Health Review
Commentaires : I have worked with Net Health for 14 years. The support has modified areas to my needs and has always worked with me for solutions.
Avantages :
I appreciate they take the time to work with us on a one to one basis if necessary to solve any issues or concerns we may have.

Review from a Billing Specialist using HospiceSoft
Commentaires : HospiceSoft is one of the easiest software's to use on the market specifically for Hospice Facilities. I have found that the billing is super easy and very self-explanatory as well as posting payments. Our Nurses love the "ease" of the paperwork as well and how HospiceSoft makes it so convenient for them to complete their paperwork and also in a timely manner. The dashboard I find very useful because once you customize it to your liking, it is there for you to point and click.... I really don't have any negative feedback.. Customer service is always on standby and readily available to answer any questions that we have.

Commentaires : It's the most efficient software I've found for SNF documentation.
Avantages :
Efficient and easy to use navigation. Makes training therapists who are not familiar with the software very easy. Customer support is fantastic. You can usually get through to a live person quickly and they've always been able to solve our issues efficiently. The numerous reports provide great tracking data for management.
Inconvénients :
Can't think of anything. It's always been efficient and the improved loading times over the years have made this software even better.
Not User Friendly- A Marketer's Perspective
Commentaires : Casamba is the most unfriendly software I have ever had to deal with in business. I simply need one report created (you have to ask and ask and ask for reports to be made for you because the available ones are not usually helpful). I have been asking for 9 months for a simple report that would give patient demographics in an excel format. Without this, there is no way for me to pull patient addresses, etc to continue communications with our former and current patients. I am BEGGING our directors to change documentation systems.
Avantages :
For my purposes, nothing.
Inconvénients :
No good referral source tracking; no patient followup reports; no patient demographic/address reports

Avantages :
Flexibility, web based, easily modifiable/adaptability to your clinic procedures, readily accessible feedbacks to Redoc staff, regular updates performed by Redoc, security measures, flexible and adaptable work flows for evals and treatments, Redoc and Net Health have a good infrastructure for communication and resolution of issues. Our therapists enjoy using the software.
Inconvénients :
Updates are based off the greater good of all customers so changes may or may not benefit your facility, integrates best with Redoc's billing and front office software which may lead to some integration issues if your facility is already using another billing software.

They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our questions are answered and understood. The best feature when stuck is the "Fast support" I can share my screen and get to the exact issue that i am stuck on!

There are some features that glitch. But it gets fixed with just a phone call to Net health.
The "GO TO" software for SNF/Sub acute rehab
Commentaires : I have been using optima for over 10 years, meet a lot of therapists in the field, who have only positive things to say about optima, critical about other emr programs

highly efficient reports, makes a DOR's job easier, love the "build options" skilled language-educational even to seasoned therapists

assignment boards needs to be saved for ever, trigger alert if no progress for patient for 2 consecutive notes, able to show error for missing daily notes for specific payor source like part B

Avantages :
ease of use, integrates fairly well with most of our customers' EMR systems, like the updated forms in our 'new' library (version 2.91, I believe)
Inconvénients :
the ADR management tool way too time consuming and clunky to use, would like more autonomy to make minor changes (ie. changing items from mandatory elements (red) to optional (blue) or vice versa) without having to go through the cumbersome change request process.
Made for therapists, bu therapists
Avantages :
Optima is very intuative and extremly user friendly. I have used this product in my different roles (staff therapist, director of rehab, corporate) and find the software to be my preferred
Inconvénients :
The information recieved from customer service is inconsistently incorrect. I have used the Optima software over 10 years and I have seen a trend of new, minimally trained staff that answer the phone.
Great Training
Avantages :
The training was excellent. Part on-line training, part one-on-one with a rep.
Inconvénients :
I haven't found a way to delete a claim after its been billed. Also, I haven't found a way to correct a payment that was entered incorrectly. Once its in the system that is it, I think.
