Commentaires : Nous avons réalisé une évaluation interne de l'outil avec une simulation d'étude où des membres de l'équipe ont joué le rôle de volontaires tandis que d'autres étaient évaluateurs.

Avantages :

La richesse fonctionnelle de l'outil permet de designer des études de façon très précise en définissant des étapes pré-requises, une plage temporelle précise pour la réponse.. L'évaluateur comme les volontaires utilise des interfaces simples mais néanmoins complètes.

Inconvénients :

La partie design nécessite un expert pour construire les formulaires (un peu de dev JS à inclure)

Great experience in EDC implementation with Viedoc

Avantages :

During the implementation of the EDC module, the Viedoc team displayed a high degree of competence, flexibility and responsiveness. We received smart advices from the programing team. The Project Manager is very custom orientated and addressed our requests and questions instantly. A great team which delivers timely and with high quality.

Inconvénients :

All worked best and all our requirements were met to our satisfaction

Avantages :

We have used many EDC systems and we have almost exclusively come to using Viedoc for all our clinical projects both pre market IDEs and post Market studies. The value for the cost and the modern interface were game changers for us and our clinical sites. In addition, I can't say enough about the support from the Viedoc team and the flexibility with pricing and study start up. We work with a lot of smaller clients and their studies are always getting delay or moved due to FDA/Regulatory issues/surprises and not having to be locked into paying at a set time is a huge deal. We recently had a surprise issue come up with an FDA IDE study and the company's roll out of a pilot study got pushed 6 months. The database was built set up and ready to use. However, due to this issue the company couldn't start the study until some other data was gathered. No problem with Viedoc, their team doesn't start billing until the 1st patient is in. Previously that client had used another well known company (that I would love to name) and their billing and ethical practices are so poor that this delay would have cost them real $$. However, they were delighted with Viedoc and their flexibility. In addition, we build the database ourselves and it is easy to build with modern tools and super flexible to customize. And it seems like every time we implement a new DB build, there are a ton of new features. No system is perfect but so far this exceeds our expectations and our clients too!

Inconvénients :

We don't use their CTM system. I think they have done a lot of work on that piece but we have our own in house and it works for our process better. I wish there was a way to customize theirs a bit more. Just a minor comment.

MD-Clinicals review

Avantages :

The drag and drop tool, it's handy and fun to use.

Inconvénients :

The Design versionning tool. It requires a lot of time if we have to update the EDC with serveral design versions when data are already recorded. There is no alert/notification when a query is answered or closed by sites or another user different from the one who open the query. Sites can unlocked pages which are already monitored and locked, and modify the data without any notifications such is not normal. Not possible to custom visibility condition on common event (if forinstance the instance constate is not signed). Visibility condition is possible between pages in the same visit but not between page from different visits.

Best Value for an EDC!

Avantages :

The software is incredibly easy to use from both the designer and clinician perspectives. This makes it efficient to build, deploy, and train new sites for any study. For small medical device companies, efficiency is key.

Inconvénients :

There may be some advanced features that are available with larger/more expensive EDC systems. However, Viedoc has done a great job incorporating feedback for improvement. One feature that would be nice to add is expanding the customized reporting tools. Currently, any report is possible with some R coding, but it would be great to bring that into the low-code nature of the rest of the platform.

Futuristic EDC

Commentaires : After 20 trials and counting, ViedocV4 has proven itself as one of the easiest and most reliable EDC systems on the market. In addition to this, the training of site staff including PI's are fast, effective and effortless, as Viedoc is the most uncomplicated EDC platform ever experienced by Novotech and sites alike. Site staff as the number one client in terms of end user, find Viedoc very ease of use and navigate. This should be one of key factors and selling points when it comes to EDC platforms. Viedoc ticks all the boxes for Novotech and site staff. From a design perspective, we managed to save time by using libraries and the overall ease of designing complicated forms makes Viedoc a leader in EDC. Edit check programming is very powerful and advanced checks is also possible with ease and basic programming skills. The close relationship with the senior management at Viedoc as well as their developers, is unheard of in the EDC service industry. The team is approachable, very professional and responds very quickly with any type of question. I have always enjoyed working with Viedoc and look forward to do so in the future.

Continuous improvement of core functionality

Commentaires : Viedoc is an EDC system for the life sciences industry that is future proof. Viedoc releases new (backward compatible) versions regularly. For each release a highlights video is published and documentation containing all the information needed to fulfill regulatory expectations is updated. We only need to validate our study configuration against the study protocol requirements.

Avantages :

My overall experience with Viedoc is great, because it contains not only features for collection of clinical trial, but also supports us and other users with features, such as randomization, supply management, data review, source data verification, reference range management, medical coding, reporting, user training and certification. I like the Viedoc Reports application that gives a quick overview of the study progress and performance.

Inconvénients :

The overview of assigned study design versions and applied revisions could be improved.

Flexible software and the Best supports

Commentaires : Viedoc has shown that EDC could be built so quickly when we have the limited time to Go-Live. With the flexibility in EDC design, the developer can build the forms whereas the programmer can set up the edit checks in parallel. The design and setup can also be viewed during developing. Viedoc are continually improving all the time to make the EDC designer’s, with minimum knowledge of programming, life easy and the system is also increasing more functionalities to cover the clinical research activities. The cross-functionality team are also able to work together in one system, in Viedoc Clinic, and the sponsor can see the study status with a glance. Furthermore, customer and technical supports are always quick and helpful.

Avantages :

EDC designer is easy to use and flexible for the designer and programmer can work at the same time.

Inconvénients :

It would cover the process if the Logistics could connect with the warehouse and trigger to the warehouse to ship the IP automatically.

Very functional. Streamlined design and setup. Tremendous support from start to finish.

Avantages :

Overall ease of design, implementation and usability through all elements of a study. The design, UAT and start up processes allow us to get to study start faster and with less cost than other systems. The system's intuitive and attractive interface makes it easy for users to come up to speed in a short amount of time. On the backend, the available data management tools are helpful during the study and quite sound for managing final study data.

Inconvénients :

The need to jump in and out of the AE, Conmed and Med History pages to find sequence numbers for related items is inconvenient. Also, the lack of autopopulation for Conmeds from the WHO Drug dictionary is also inconvenient, although I understand that may not be an issue in PCG's control.

As a designer

Avantages :

Easy of use, both for Designers and Administrators. Very easy for users to navigate

Inconvénients :

I'm missing "Back to Top" button if you are very far down on a form as a designer.I also would like the box with the items to follow me as i scroll down on the form, now if i want to add an item far down on a form, i have to scroll all the way up, and hold lef t mouse and drag it all the way down.

Feasible EDC for Phase I and IV trials

Avantages :

Ease of building studies in Viedoc EDC, with multiple inbuilt functionalities. Cost of conducting a trial is less than competition

Inconvénients :

More stability needed for Phase II-III trials.

Avantages :

After using several market-leading EDC systems in my work as a clinical project manager, I prefer working with Viedoc. Viedoc is an extremely user friendly system with intuitive functions for data collection, monitoring and reporting. The design is excellent and the safety reporting and data export functions are far better than in other systems. Viedoc is highly appreciated among site staff, monitors, data managers and project managers.

Inconvénients :

An integrated CTMS would be great to have.

User friendly and Good value EDC

Commentaires : We have several studies up and running. Interface design is not only good looking : it offers large capabilities in terms of dynamism. Main weak point is the lack of adhoc on-line reporting.
Quality/cost ratio is excellent and team is constantly improving the tool.

Viedoc review

Commentaires : Experience through 5+ years has been very positive both with SW and organisation. Viedoc reverts to sponsor quickly in case of issues and adresses the problems.

Avantages :

It is intuitive. Overview of interface is good.quite granular role based access.There are many useful reports - and sponsor specific can be added.Competitive and clear pricing.

Inconvénients :

The same operations sometimes vary in time... and takes a while the more data is involved.

Great choice

Avantages :

The system is very user friendly. The design of the eCRF through Viedoc Designer team was excellently supervised and our requests were always met in a solution-oriented manner. Viedoc also offers the possibility to create eCRFs in a company administrated organization instance. The elearnig section is very well equipped with video tutorials and use cases.

Inconvénients :

Working in Viedoc using different roles as one person leads to many different tabs, so you have to jump from one window to another. In a few cases, however, it could also be an advantage.

Viedoc - An easy to learn and use EDC

Commentaires : We design data collection forms, features and database for clinical trial sponsors. Viedoc has gained increasing popularity among sponsors and we're receiving lots of projects. One should definitely check this out if they are looking for a tool in the EDC market.

Avantages :

An easy to learn and use EDC which can pretty much cover any complex clinical database designing.

Inconvénients :

Lack of few advanced features and presence of few bugs.

Amazing eCRF system

Commentaires : Using Viedoc, eCRF can be built quickly because of the flexibility of the design mode. The designer can set up forms in parallel with the definition of edit checks performed by the programmer; in addition, it is very easy to set up the eCRF by personnel with minimal programming knowledge. Thanks to e-learnings, available for all activities and detailed with pictures and videos, navigating the system is very easy as is the use of all the necessary features.

Avantages :

- eCRF design preview very appreciated - Code debug feature in edit checks development mode- User friendly- Easy navigation- Reports function for data reviewing

Inconvénients :

After the GoLive of a new version/revision of the same eCRF, sign/CR/SDV break of the forms involved in the changes may occur.

Avantages :

Viedoc is very easy to use as it provides a intuitive UI and workflow. It is flexible and can easily be adapted to specific needs of customers and studies

Inconvénients :

The software can sometime feel sluggish and unresponsive.

Commentaires : Very flexible and great value in its ability to support a small start up medical device company - tailored to the needs of our trial. Short timelines in implementation and fast responses. Even though we are just a little guy they treated us as we were their number one customer.

Avantages :

The world best customer service and quick response to our needs. Fast build times. Very intuitive and easy to learn and use and the sites like it.

Inconvénients :

What we originally though was a limitation in functionality was addressed after some emails and calls to implement an elegant solution on how we wished to capture Event data. Even once the initial study went live and adjustments were needed it was handled expeditiously.

Avantages :

It is easier to use than other EDC platforms. Very designer friendly.

Inconvénients :

It has some drawbacks like, some normal JavaScript functions do not work in the EDC.

Simple updates can take time, a few minor 'nice to haves' still in the pipeline.
