Un moteur à la pointe du réalisme
Avantages :

The best choice for ambitious 3D Games
Commentaires : I really liked using Unreal and prototyping quick ideas. It's a really flexible engine and really powerful. Even the testing stuff look and run great. I wish there was a more open community that helped each other out or introduced new users to advanced knowledge of the engine that you will only earn with time by using it.
Avantages :
Unreal Engine has grown over the years and it's now more friendly to single developers, indy movie produces and indy game studios as well. It has a robust toolset that allows you to create 3D games with one of the best engines for realistic looks, yet you can use models that fit your artistic vision, ex: stylized games. If you want an example of how small studios can make a good unreal game, look for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and if you want to look for AAA Games that look extremely realistic or movie quality, look at Gears of War 5 or Kingdom Hearts 3. Unreal also has an asset store where you can buy models or tools to help you quickly build or prototype your game and it has a blueprint system that allows you to program your game logic without knowing how to write in C++. The engine also runs in a myriad of platforms including mobile.
Inconvénients :
One of the downsides of Unreal is how complex it is when comparing it to Godot or Unity. The community for it, it's very small and a lot of the people who have knowledge on Unreal are tied behind studio contracts and maybe they're not allowed to share or help around in the web much, but when you look at Unity, there's dozens and dozens of websites, youtubers, courses and resources that you could basically build a game with no knowledge, but in Unreal it will take a lot of time and expertise on what you're doing. Also one last thing, you can build 2D games in Unreal, but you're better off using GameMaker or Unity for 2D Games. The community and engine support is just bigger and bettter.

Unreal Engine is a Must-Have Powerhouse for nearly any Artistic Developer
Commentaires : I wanted to learn to make Games but struggled with programming and Unreal Engine made it a very simple and straight forward process along with having lots of great assets for free every month. Most of the time if I need help I can find it either via the forums or youtube and udemy tutorials to bring my dream game ideas fully to life along with learning more each and every day.
Avantages :
I love that UE is backed by amazing tutorials, keeps improving, has a lot of free assets, and is always very fun to jump right into using constantly along with the fact that it has the best Visual Scripting (Blueprints) toolset around to make it easy for anyone to make games or other various projects.
Inconvénients :
Programming can be frustrating at times, Customer Support is almost non-existent, and occasionally trying to learn how to do something in it can become a nuance. On top of that some of the plugins and tools from third-parties are extremely expensive and overpriced which can force hackney methods to problem-solve.
If you want to build a game and have 0 experience, THIS IS FOR YOU!
Commentaires : Fantastic, this is the only program I would recommend for low experience first timers, and even the more experienced, although for those reading this review, if you are more experienced, you probably should go read another review from someone who has been doing this for years. But if you are reading this as a low-experienced person, this is the program.
Avantages :
There are so many pro's to using Unreal Engine it's ridiculous, so I am just going to keep it general because I doubt I could even remember all the specifics. Simply put, it actually FEELS like a company that WANTS you to succeed. I came into Unreal Engine with 0 experience and have been able to program a game (it's unfinished) where my character can move, my map is procedural generated, I've got enemies that move/attack, I figured this out from complete scratch, I have never coded anything in my life and I was able to do this with free tutorials (except for one time where I paid $1 to someone's patrion to help with enemy detecting players and stuff like that). Back to what I was saying at the beginning where they actually want you to succeed, at every turn it felt like there was someone there helping me, for instance I needed combat items and pick-up-able items in my game, and I was 100% I was going to have to ALSO learn a program like blender to make those items and import them over, nope, they have a free store IN the engine that allows you to just grab stuff like that, and they are fantastic, not just some crap. They have different numbers of triangles for each item, even the one (I'm blanking on the name) but where the triangles reduce when you are further away. They have thousands of materials for anything you would like, they legitimately want to allow people like me, with 0 experience, to make anything they want, and the do a heck of a job at it.
Inconvénients :
There are no cons, there are legitimately no cons. Now take this with a grain of salt because I came into with 0 experience and am probably around 500-1000 hours in now, so there could be cons I could not identify, but I think even someone with experience would agree, because even with the nodes that are designed to make programming a game easier, you can edit with C++ if you are some advanced-game-making-wizard and want to make them customized. I just don't see why you would make a game on any other platform at this point.

Achieving near-perfection in the Unreal Engine
Commentaires : In terms of visual fidelity, Unreal Engine is great for game jams. However, when working on commercial games, Unreal Engine projects can get out of hand. There are many reasons why making a new game in Unreal can be overwhelming, frustrating, or even a good idea, but there are also many reasons why making a new game in Unreal can be the best option for your project. The Unreal Engine can be a good tool if your entire team is familiar with it, depending on the type of game you're making.
Avantages :
The visuals in Unreal Engine games are stunning, and the cross-platform capabilities are excellent. Technically, it's superior to Unity, but in terms of usability, it's more stable. In terms of updates and bug fixes, Unreal is ahead of Unity, and its pricing is unbeatable.
Inconvénients :
The node material editor is the only thing I can think of that I don't like. It's not very user-friendly, and the names of the nodes required to construct a material are unlike anything I've seen in any other DCC. Because of just that one aspect, the learning curve is quite steep.
Creative Alliance Review
Commentaires : After more than 2 years of use, we can confidently say Unreal Engine is the best software for 3D visualization Game Development and Simulation. The realism is UNREAL.
Avantages :
We here at Creative Alliance are involved daily in graphics designing and 3D animation. Unreal Engine is our go-to software for daily content. We have been able to provide high quality content to our consumers with Unreal Engine and recent Metahuman Editor integration has been a bonus.
Inconvénients :
There is absolutely nothing negative about it because we have switched from another software to Unreal after finding absolutely no flaws.
Alternatives envisagées :
No matter what do you want to achieve. You can do it with Unreal Engine
Commentaires : I'm still learning the basics of the engine, following a learning path in the Virtual Production field. My plan is to achieve all the needed skills to work as a VP Previs & Production Designer, to help other creative people to bring their dreams to the screen.
Avantages :
Unreal Engine is one of the most powerful pieces of software out there. No matter if you work on Game Development, Architectural Visualization, Broadcast, Film or Television, etc. Unreal has tool to every industry and professionals. The most I like of this is the possibility to animate in real time with all the textures and lights in place, making changes in real time when you need it. Also, the capability to integrate and compose video feed in real time, and get in camera VFX, is one of the most giant leaps in film and television development in decades. This can only get better every single day.
Inconvénients :
Learning Unreal Engine is not easy, despite the tons of courses, tutorials, and videos out there. Even Epic offers a free learning platform for their community. But you will need hundreds of hours reading and watching content, and a very capable machine to run the engine and test. You will need to invest time and money, but this wort it.
Unreal Engine Review
Commentaires : I love the experience with UE, i used it to make a Game and a Simultion, wich both where funny expereince ,in the UE and i never had problems that where on the UE side more on the knowledge side.
Avantages :
There is no need to code wich is good for beginners that cant code in c++. I personally still like coding more also the new UE5 is just overwhelming with all the possiblitys one has.
Inconvénients :
Like i said the only con would be C++ for beginners.
Unreal Engine: The Game Engine for You
Commentaires : Unreal Engine has been a great engine to use for both prototyping and fine tuning projects. The built-in tools as well as the axillary tools available for download and integration result in your dreams truly being the limit, as can be seen in many amazing, extremely high quality games made using Unreal Engine.
Avantages :
Unreal has been used for a number of triple A games, and after using the product, it is understandable why. Many features are easy to pick up, but underneath the simplicity the nuts and bolts are very complex and well integrated. With a thorough knowledge of coding, one boarders on wielding magic when using Unreal Engine.
Inconvénients :
The learning curve is rather steep, as is to be expected; coding, game development, etc, is hard, and takes much knowledge and skills. However, Unreal Engine provides many learning aids both in the program itself and in axillary programs they run and support. Once the base knowledge has been gained and imprinted into the mind, the tool only becomes more useful.
Using Unreal
Commentaires : The engine is too large.
Avantages :
The visual code is very interesting and very advanced.
Inconvénients :
The engine is way TOO heavy, I dont need 90% of what I have to download.
Game engine of the 21st century
Avantages :
Being able to develop a 3D game for free is a great advantage. It also provides great convenience with its extremely simple interface.
Inconvénients :
I made mistakes in some places, so it can be improved a little more.

Extraordinary game engine for complex 3D games but pretty bad for small 2D projects
Commentaires :
Unreal Engine 4 is great and we love it because we're indie and we don't really want to have more expenses that we require. It's basically a full program with everything you need for 3D game development.
Their asset store with free and paid assets can save up so much time! And the animation blending tool is amazing, if you can find it cause of the heavy interface that is.
Prototyping can be kinda easily done using the blueprints and it could have no coding involved if one chooses so.
Avantages :
Unreal Engine is an industry standard application for creating complex 3D games. The pricing is great for indies as UE4 takes a rev share only if the product goes above a revenue threshold. As with UE5 that threshold will be 1 mil $ and let's face it, what indie game will make it so far? And then it's supposedly 5%. UE4 has everything you need for big 3D projects: * coding close to the machine in C++ so you can go almost as deep as you want * the software itself can be shippe with the source code so you can alter it * if you prefer a less code heavy approach you can use their blueprint editor which acts like a flowchart * great animation tool with easy to use blending * free forever assets from the UE4 team and as well as from the community monthly (this is really amazing compared to the competition, you can just hoard assets for a whole year and when you decide to get into it you'll have so many free things to choose from already) * easy networking and they don\t ask that you use any of their services * a lot of guides and tutorials both from the UE4 team as well as from the community * a mature community (compared to say Unity which got a lot of their developers through viral youtubers showcasing games made in Unity) * a lot of paid (and free) assets to choose from
Inconvénients :
Unreal Engine being so complex and close to the machine requires a lot of time even for the most basic of actions unless you have a super powerful computer and I think this is the biggest con with the software. Other cons are the following: * bugs, as the competition has them too, though it seems to me that UE4 has a bit more * crashes, it crashes more than Unity at least on my computer which is not too powerful actually * would have big problems running on laptops compared to the competition (Unity) * weird interface, not too consistent * bulky interface, a lot of buttons everywhere and I find myself not using half of them * big installation size which can become a problem if you keep a few versions up (to open different projects and not have to migrate them) * very rarely, assets from the store are discovered as being fraudulent * wonky for 2D, a project like that needs way more work than Unity * launcher is kinda laggy
A game engine for graphics nerd !!!
Commentaires : It is brolly. I am currently using it for a 3d puzzle game. I am really excited about it !!!
Avantages :
I will list it's pros in following points:- 1.) Super excellent graphics:- the game engine is meant for this. And even better, this will become more better in the future 2.) Free of cost:- the game engine costs nothing ! You will only be charged when your annual earning are more than $1 million dollars ( I am even ready to pay more to face that day) 3.) Huge team:- unreal engine has many employees to care care of the engine. This factor is important during bug hunting 4.) Tested platform:- unreal engine has been used for many AAA games and nowadays even studios are also using it for movie production
Inconvénients :
1.) C++ :- this is quite a controversial point. For some it is a boon but for some it is a backdrop. And in my opinion other languages should also be offered for game development 2.) Blueprint is still not mature. It requires much more work 3.) Game engine is very heavy. Requires powerful computer to run 4.) Compilation takes a good amount of time 5.) UI could have been better
As a tool for the entertainment industry and computer games, it's fantastic!
Commentaires : Using it to create lifelike simulations that can be played in development games, it has assisted in the resolution of numerous issues because of its excellent visuals and ease of level design. People can forget they're in a virtual reality simulation and other projects if they use the VR plugin correctly and the material editor correctly.
Avantages :
You can use it from novice to expert, thanks to its user-friendly interface and extensive tool set. Compared to its rivals, it provides better visual technology and material editors that are extremely useful to game designers. Even if you've never coded before, Unreal Engine's visual scripting makes it simple to create a game.
Inconvénients :
Compared to Godot or Unity, Unreal is a more difficult platform to use. Because of the small size of the Unreal community and the restrictions imposed by studio contracts, many people with expertise in Unreal are restricted from freely sharing their knowledge online. In contrast, with Unity, there are literally thousands of websites, youtube channels, courses, and other resources available to anyone who wants to start making games from scratch. Finally, you can make 2D games in Unreal, but it's better to use GameMaker or Unity for 2D games. As a result, the community and engine support have grown and improved.
Unreal
Commentaires : Unreal Engine is a powerful game engine that allowed me to make games in school projetcs
Avantages :
unreal is free for everybody. If you wanna work int the game industry or learn to do code C+++ this is the way to go. Alots of video games that are published by triple-A studio use Unreal Engine.
Inconvénients :
It could be overwhelming at first cause Unreal engine has a lot to offer to anyone wanting to build a level, import animation, etc.
unreal Engine - An advanced game engine
Commentaires : The overall experience is 95% positive when considering the Unreal engine and according to my experience with unreal engine this is one of the best platform for AAA game development.
Avantages :
The render pipeline is the best feature in the Unreal engine. Unreal engine can provide high quality, extreme realistic and advance graphics towards any game. Unreal engine also can be used in architectural visualizations. Another benefit is unreal engine has a feature called the blueprints which can be very helpful to game developers who don't have any programming knowledge.
Inconvénients :
Not like other game engines, unreal engine requires high processing power and memory. When it comes to rendering or executing a build the computer cannot be used for another process. Also user interfaces are little bit confusing.
Game testing and virtualizatiob
Commentaires : The experience with unreal engine was amazing and it has been more than one and half year me using and I never had any problems except for some glitches. But the software itself is flawless as for my personal experience with time I understood many things about graphic design too it did help me alot as a newbie at first
Avantages :
The software keeps getting updates to fix the the overall software as clean as possible and easy to use even for a newbie the graphics this thing provides is amazing the only thing is to enjoy all the fun you have to have a powerful system to handle the specs
Inconvénients :
The least thing I liked about the software was the price which could be little low but I understand there is a whole team behind working for hours making it better to use so it does make it up
Unreal Engine: Totally an Unreal Experience
Commentaires : Unreal Engine is not only a game engine, its an all-in-one package for 2/3D designing, be it games, product videos, trailers, characters, landscapes and what not. Given its complexity it is not as easy to use, but the documentation is amazing, which makes it very easy to learn how to navigate around Unreal Engine.
Avantages :
Everything! Unreal Engine is one of the biggest open sourced game engines available and is totally free. One would expect that since its free it would lack features as compared to proprietary engines, well, they are wrong. It has everything, from managing simple 2D animation to complex 3D designing. Blueprints on the other hand provides an excellent utility to "write" code by simple drag and drop attributes, without the need of writing code.
Inconvénients :
Since Unreal Engine is not developed for having one application in mind, it has certain design flaws which in my opinion are acceptable. For example, it is not as straightforward as a highly sophisticated engine has which is made for a particular task, say 2D character animation. Although, Unreal Engine is powerful enough to do almost anything if one knows their way around it.
Hands down one of my favorite out-of-the-box engines to work with.
Commentaires : As stated in the initial review, Unreal Engine is hands down one of the greatest engines on the market, and due to a combination of the educational resources and integration of tools into the development pipeline, I can saw that it will probably be my go to engine for the foreseeable future.
Avantages :
Epic has really taken the cake with Unreal Engine and the suite of tools within that can be easily integrated into any game development pipeline. I've had the pleasure of working with this engine both on my own for courses I've taught and within a development environment and it is hands down my favorite game engine to develop on.
Inconvénients :
In the past, the resources for learning how to use the engine were lacking, but as of late, Epic has done an amazing job at putting out free resources that allow people to get up to speed on the various aspects of the Unreal Engine 4. This alone opens the door to new users and helps out tremendously for those who are new to game development of some of the latest features.

Unreal Engine for Creative Visuals
Commentaires : I never knew anything about coding when I started using Unreal Engine but I stood out because of the Blueprint Visual Scripting which is within the software package.
Avantages :
What I really enjoy about Unreal is it's ability to provide much larger control over physics and graphics elements which makes creating visual effects easier and realistic.
Inconvénients :
I find my computer freezing often which made me think that the software requires somehow a much stronger graphic card to render graphics.
The Best Game Engine of all times
Avantages :
What attracted me the most and what I greatly appreciate is being able to use the most powerful game engine for free. since version 4 of Unreal Engine. all developers from the less experienced to the professionals , have what it takes to make the dream come true. it's a plus that has made Unreal Engine the undisputed leader in the video game development market.
Inconvénients :
No thing! This software for me it's perfect

Unreal Engine
Avantages :
This is one of the best game engine currently on the internet. It has got great graphics, games are not to expensive so anyone can afford it.Currently best games on the internet are made by Unreal Engine.
Inconvénients :
Sometimes graphics may glitch out for some reason, when that happens you may have to wait for some kind of update to fix it,but overall Unreal Engine is one of the most trusted and popular game engines in the world.

Unreal engine in video games
Commentaires : I love the Unreal Engine and i would like to see it even more in video games.
Avantages :
Unreal engine in video games is the best game engine a have ever seen. I think that people working at Epic have something really special and that they need to continue their work towards the better world for gamers. I loved the Unreal Engine first in the UT games, and i loved it ever since.
Inconvénients :
Sometimes it can be a little performace heavy. But not to much.
My Unreal Engine Review
Commentaires : I would recommend
Avantages :
It's a free to use and great for learning about game development. Graphic quality is amazing.
Inconvénients :
Not straightforward to use. There's definitely a learning curve but over time you'll learn more.
