Commentaires : We have been able to provide updated and real time reporting to both customers and funders. The software also allows us to ensure fairness in our job selection and placement processes as well as provides us with amazing payroll results and supports. As an agency we rely on the software and the providers over at CSS to make us successful and to date they have not disappointed.

Avantages :

The software has amazing usability and runs awesome reports. The ease in customizing it based on our needs makes it ones that makes it #1 in line with other competitors. We truly have no idea what we'd do without it.

Inconvénients :

We have no issues or complaints with the software.

Commentaires : Before Eleo we could not generate monthly thank you receipts, and we had to maintain a separate Excel spreadsheet of newsletter subscribers in order to email them through Mailchimp. Now we have one database that's easily filtered on gifts and donors so we can quickly generate thank you receipts, and email our subscribers. Their customer support team is very knowledgeable, kind, and patient, and also open to suggestions on how they can improve Eleo. We're astonished at how they can provide all of these features at such a reasonable price, and our donor base has been rapidly growing since standing up Eleo - thank you Eleo!

Avantages :

Eleo is very intuitive and easy to use. Initial set up and onboarding went smoothly with help from their awesome support team. I initially trained our admin, and moving forward, she has been able to figure things out on her own. We use Eleo's easy to create web forms for donating, contacting us, volunteer interest, and to subscribe to our newsletter. We record donations, reconcile them with Quickbooks, generate thank you receipts, and email subscribers through an integration with Mailchimp. We also find it very easy to generate reports on donors and gifts, which we use heavily for grant applications, budget planning, and financial reports. Recently, we used Eleo's event module to plan and organize our annual fundraising gala, and it was the most successful ever!

Inconvénients :

I had to do a minor workaround in the event module to organize entree choices.

Commentaires : We needed a CRM with a complete suite of tools that also fits our small nonprofit budget. ELEO fits the bill and then some! Customer service is amazing, the support in their online library is extensive, and ELEO does everything we need it to do at a price we can afford. If you're shopping around for a CRM database, this is the one!

Avantages :

User-friendliness, support videos and library, sooo many reports

Inconvénients :

I really don't have any cons; there are a few tools that I haven't used yet, so I guess it's possible I could find something. But honestly, nothing comes to mind.

Commentaires : Eleo is affordable and meets all of our business needs. They have the best customer service around, and I can easily speak with a person or get a quick email response if I have an issue! Definitely recommend.

Avantages :

Eleo is very affordable, especially for a small nonprofit like us! They always have the best customer service. If I ever have an issue, I hear back within the hour with the help I need and also tutorials!

Inconvénients :

Eleo works best on Google Chrome. I prefer to use Mozilla firefox, so this is my biggest con; however, it is an easy fix and not a problem to work around!

Commentaires : Support is A+++. Kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Be sure to take the Inside Eleo webinars to keep improving your ability to get the most out of Eleo. There is so much there! I like that each aspect of donor management (running a campaign, sending it out via email, entering or receiving online donations, and tracking the results) is covered by Eleo. One-Stop Shop!

Avantages :

Eleo handles all of our donor/constituent database needs. We track all donations, create campaigns, and create and track our fundraising events. We are able to integrate with Constant Contact for digital marketing to our contacts. I really like that you can see all of the Eleo components from the screen and the main Navigation bar. It is easy to see, learn, and understand all of these components.

Inconvénients :

Looking forward to additional features to be added, such as letterhead on Thank You letter templates and some report improvements. Eleo is always making improvements and encourages suggestions from users.

Commentaires : Excellent. Easy to learn and use. Excellent technical support. On the spot help if needed.

Avantages :

So far it has been easy to learn and easy to use. The library is full of downloadable instruction modules and videos. Support by telephone has been stellar.

Inconvénients :

That there isn’t an event category for selling tickets to a concert. All registrations for events on Eleo are put into the gift category. In the music world ticket sales to an event (a concert) are not donations or gifts. Yet, those who purchase the tickets can potentially become donors. Keeping track of ticket sales on a donor database would be helpful in fundraising activities.

Good choice for small to medium organization.

Avantages :

Linking to Quickbooks saves a lot of time. Easy to send end-of-year IRS statements. Allows fund tracking.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes an exact match search doesn’t work, so you have to do a broader search and select the correct record to update.

Avantages :

Eleo customer service is top notch. Reliable, available and easy to connect with - it is a huge help to know that my questions will always be answered with speed and confidence.

Inconvénients :

As a newer user I do find that you can accomplish your goals in more than one way. This can be a bit confusing at first but with customer support it is also easily navigated.

Eleo was easy to implement and use daily. Your daily tasks such as gift entry, thank you letters, reports, and list creation is complete with a few clicks.

Avantages :

Customer support!! I am so delighted to talk to a real person when I have a problem. They are always quick to solve things. They also take our suggestions and try to incorporate new tools into the database as they make sense for organizations like ours. Ease of use- I have used and implemented 4 other databases at various non profits and this has been the easiest getting started with and training other individuals on. Functionality- We are able to track donors and pull useful reports. Integration- We are able to make custom webforms easily and targeted to specific uses.

Inconvénients :

Emailing using the database. I love that I am always able to track back what I sent out using the database but standard email products have so much more flexibility and versatility. I know that ELEO is always looking to improve functionality.

Commentaires : Highly improved, more efficient and accurate data capture; reduced data management redundancies; better dashboard control over donations, fundraising and grants; easy data filtering and reporting to meet a variety of existing and emerging business purposes.

Avantages :

The software is easy to use to support data capture and reporting according to our organization's specific needs. The filtering and sorting aspects of Eleo let us easily work with different segments of our population of supporters, from individual to corporate donors, to event sponsors, to grant-makers...and more. Eleo works very well at a great price for our donations/donors and fundraising operations. The relatively new grants module adds unparalleled value to the Eleo software. The support team is professional, responsive, skilled, responsive and pleasant to work with. The overall value is outstanding.

Inconvénients :

Eleo is so function- and feature-rich that it is was challenging to learn from the general trainings how to use all of it optimally for our unique needs and goals. Nonetheless, the Eleo support team was highly responsive to all of our questions and helped us quickly learn how to use Eleo to best serve our organization's needs.

Commentaires : Eleo is as beneficial to me as any database system that I've used in the past at much larger organizations. It satisfies the donor information needs and offers the ability to retrieve, update donor information, and follow-up with donors through various appeals, letters, newsletters, or other communications with great ease.

Avantages :

I've worked with large foundations that were established decades ago and have thousands of donors. These institutions have donor database software systems that are outstanding. Moving to a much smaller but equally worthwhile foundation less than three years ago, I met with Eleo representatives and found them to offer a high quality system that equaled my experience at larger institutions. The ease of learning and using this system, the costs for this product, and the utility of this database system are all outstanding. In addition, their personal support of any questions or needs that arise is also outstanding!

Inconvénients :

That Eleo Online wasn't established earlier! The Amy Foundation was established 11 years ago and all donors records were kept on excel spreadsheets, all of which was accurately incorporated with exceptional ease into the Eleo system.

Easy peasy!

Commentaires : Growing our database of contacts and donors has really been a breeze with Eleo. I especially like the ease of operation all around.

Avantages :

I love that it easily grows as our organization expands. Creating reports is much quicker than other programs I've used at other non-profits I've worked for. It is a great that I can just search the library for a quick tutorial when I need to learn more of the functionality.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it takes longer than I would like while waiting for an answer from the help desk. Also I had an experience with combining a duplicate donor. One of the contacts had more info than the other. I thought that when I combined them that Eleo would automatically keep the one with the most information (donations listed) but it kept the one without the needed info and I had to re-create the donaions.That being said, the customer service is always professional and courteous. I do appreciate that.

Commentaires : An overall excellent experience. the suppor tdepartment is timely, helpful and provides results.

Avantages :

Customer support is excellent. eleo was relativley easy to set up in the beginning and it is easy to use on a daily basis.

Inconvénients :

Ability to devleop a couple of reports I would like to have, but support has been able to produce them for me.

Commentaires : We cannot say enough positive things about the product and the customer service.

Avantages :

It was so easy implement Eleo and learning how to use it was a breeze. Between the excellent customer service and wonderful training materials, we were up and running immediately. The program is very user-friendly and intuitive and the features cover just about any situation we’ve encountered. The reporting features have helped us to improve our fundraising.

Inconvénients :

There are no cons! We are very happy with all aspects of Eleo

I love Eleo Donor Management Platform

Commentaires : Any issues (and they have been related to getting used to the software mechanics) have been resolved with the patient assistance of the Eleo customer service staff. They are top notch.

Avantages :

I work for a very small not-for-profit. I was initially attracted to the monthly cost, which fit my budget. But when I saw the demo, and started asking questions of the staff I realized, the Eleo platform was very good. It had all the right features, it was customizable, and the staff was very helpful, patient, and courteous. Then when I provided my data for them to import...OH MY GOODNESS! Everything was flawless. Its a match made in heaven!

Inconvénients :

The platform I used previously for my donor portal sent me an email every time a donor made a donation. Eleo's system does not do that. I have to open Eleo to see if I have any donations. This is not a major problem. I have had to change habits. But I did like the automatic email notifications used to receive.

Commentaires : Ease and accuracy of data collection, ease of pulling data reports, time saving!

Avantages :

The software is intuitive and fairly easy to learn how to use. Eleo employees are incredibly helpful at training on the use of the software, responding to questions and troubleshooting issues - all in a timely manner. We were previously using an Excel spreadsheet - which was cumbersome and prone to errors. This software has improved the accuracy of our data entry and ease of pulling data reports.

Inconvénients :

The main drawback is that we didn't discover the software sooner! :) We use this software for pulling weekly deposit entries, as well pulling short and long term donation reports for use internally and for our direct mail campaign, and have been extremely satisfied with the amount of time it saves us and its ease of use!

Quality, Affordable, and easy to use

Commentaires : Eleo is used as our donor database. Since we are a small non-profit organization the extra gimmicks and tools are not needed. Eleo has even more options than our company utilizes. The price is fair and the functionality works since we have a full-time employee who is dedicated to updating the records. Eleo has to be used by an active employee. It is not meant to be run by a passive approach. My experience with customer service has been the most beneficial part of Eleo. Since, it is a smaller company I have never had to wait for a representative to answer the phone. The representatives are stationed in the United States and are easily understandable and they're almost always available. They also offer the ability to sign up for an appointment the following day.

Avantages :

The software is extremely user friendly. There is a navigation bar at the top of the site and there are many customizable options within each page. Furthermore, the settings allows you to control much of the database. They have integration with mail chimp and PayPal, but I have yet to explore that region.

Inconvénients :

The software does have numerous customizable options, but there are limitations. The software is basic in its function and for large companies or non-profits it is too manually concentrated.

Commentaires : I have been recommending ELEO to my small to midsize clients for over five years. Those who chose to sign up with ELEO are still customers. They have been happy with the features provided and the cost.

Avantages :

Eleo's team makes the onboarding process very easy. If you take the time to clean up your data and put good information into ELEO you will be able to manage and use the information to grow your nonprofit. ELEO has modules included for free.

Inconvénients :

The dashboard is not as slick looking as other software - but it does not effect the performance.

Great software and really easy to use....Best customer service ever!

Avantages :

I love using this software from Entering the information which is very easy to do and it flows really nicely and is extremely easy to use. The software allows me to access the information I need. It's designed in a logical way. The layout is great in that I don't have to guess where things are that I need to have access to. I also don't have to spend a lot of time figuring out how to do things. I love that you can access the system via the Internet and the tutorials are easy to follow and learn!

Inconvénients :

Lack of custom signature for letters and recurring donations are tricky and have to be manually processed.

Avantages :

Easy to use, easy to navigate. Working with CSS and their system has been a tremendous help to our organization. It is beyond expectation. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

There is nothing at this time that I do not like about the software.

Excellent product and support

Avantages :

Eleo is very easy to use. A lot of it is intuitive but there is plenty of information in the knowledge base. The integrations to Constant Contact, Stripe and QuickBooks were essential for us. Their support is outstanding! I get a very quick response and they are always willing to answer questions. I don't feel like I"m lost in a call center.

Inconvénients :

I haven't found anything yet. Although the webforms are relatively easy, I'll need to spend time on learning to finesse the customization.
