Commentaires : Le résultat de Square était bon et j'ai toujours bien reçu les paiements, mais l'implantation et la gestion étaient moins conviviales pour une personne qui s'y connait moins.

Avantages :

J'ai apprécié la rapidité du traitement lors des commandes, ce qui est un facteur important. Lorsque j'ai utilisé ce logiciel, le suivi des transactions a toujours été impeccables et toutes les transactions étaient bien notées / numérotées. Aucun problème!

Inconvénients :

En tant que solopreneure, je porte plusieurs chapeaux et je suis moins familière avec l'implantation d'un système de paiement en ligne et sa gestion. C'est donc une autre personne qui l'a gérée car cela était trop complexe pour moi puisque mon site était développé en Drupal et que je ne suis pas développeure!

Avantages :

J’ai un commerce en ligne. Mais, lors d’exposition ou d’événements de vente sur place, je devais entrer mes transactions de paiement via mon logiciel en ligne et c’était très coûteux en temps et peu apprécié par les clients. Le recours à Square Point of Sale fut extraordinaire ! En moins de quelques minutes, nous étions prêts à enregistrer nos ventes et procéder aux paiements de nos clients de façon professionnelle ! Je ne me passerais plus de cet outil de travail pour mon commerce ! Un indispensable !

Inconvénients :

Je ne peux y trouver de points faibles ! Il a répondu et même dépassé mes attentes !

Commentaires : The POS software is very good especially when I go offline and in person I can collect a payment and continue online and resolve any client information.

Avantages :

It's seamless with my banking and helps me integrate payments for clients, products, and services

Inconvénients :

There are many freemium features that can be an additional benefit on top of the current monthly costs unlike a shopify plan that bundles most offers in one subscription.

Brewing POS System

Commentaires : Overall, the ideal product for what we need! There are absolutely flaws, but every option will have them and not one is going to be perfect. The flaws we have in Square are overall mostly reconcilable in adjustments I've managed to make to get around them, but there are still a few that get in the way. However, overall, I don't see another product on the market that I would use instead of Square, so I'm more than happy to work with what we've got!

Avantages :

We use Square for our in-houes POS system on the iPad docking system, I occasionally use it through a mobile device for payments on-the-go at events and such, and we also use it integrated with our Wix website for online to-go orders and retail orders. Overall, it works great for all the things we need it for! It covers at least the basics of every aspect we use it for.

Inconvénients :

There are definitely some customization issues I have with it whereas I'd like it to function a bit more to our exact needs, but overall it covers the bases. Specifically, there are a few variation/option issues I wish we could set up differently for our POS menu, and it would also be nice to have access to more customization with reporting. We use printed receipts but can't specify how many to print which can be frustrating as well. Lastly, our online ordering page not reconciling with the same inventory/reporting items as our POS in-house can also be a bit annoying, but overall we've managed to set it up to function the bests we can.

Good but price is getting too high

Commentaires : When there is a dispute they don’t reach out back to let you know exactly the reason behind.

It’s been good but we will need to find a new provider soon as their price keep increasing, makes it hard to keep our prices for customers

That i get charge more if the card is not inserted, most of my customers don’t have time to come to our office

Square Point Is On Point

Commentaires : My overall experience with Square Point Of Sale is that it’s given me the smoothest online and electronic payments possible and they take a small percentage of everything transferred in and out.

Avantages :

I like the easiness of processing transactions on this software! Takes away 90% of my businesses financial headaches.

Inconvénients :

I don’t have any cons in regards to Square Point Of Sale because any and everything I need the app to do, it does!

Great product, but doesn’t fit all my needs

Commentaires : Square was a really nice POS system to use and had great features, but I couldn’t get past not having my inventory being tracked in one system.

Square pos worth every bit of “high processing fees”

Commentaires : We couldn’t run our business with out it. It has been a very straight forward process. Clear expectation, clear help when needed, company is always accepting new feature requests. Love it.

Avantages :

Square pos integrates with SO many other apps/programs. Streamlining and ease of use is what makes it stand out so much from every other processing program. A lot of people complain about the high processing fees, but it is worth its weight in gold when running a business. Our square account connects with our scheduling, waivers, inventory, marketing, social media, accounting software, and so much more. It is literally the center of our applications/programs. We could not run our business without it.

Inconvénients :

I can’t complain about much. I do wish there was a customer service phone number. BUT they are on top of it when you message them and they know their stuff. There’s a few other minor changes with filters and integrating the items between square and square online store that I wish were better. But they’re working on it.

A secure financial transaction system

Commentaires : This is a financial tool that can be managed from wherever you are, it is not limiting and its functions are secure

I like this tool because it allows online payment processes to be much more secure. It is a tool that is necessary for merchants mainly because currently many processes, if not all, are carried out through online transactions. This tool works for me because offers lower transaction fees and protected end-to-end transactions

The tool works well but it would be much better to have more attention in case it is required by the team of this tool

Square POS a must for small businesses !!

Commentaires : Like I said just before, the portability, versatility, and power of transaction is chef kiss. If you are a small business owner doing events, I recommend you to use Square POS, they are very strong with their small portable UX products !

Avantages :

The practicality and smallness of it, but powerful tool because of the features it gives. It's like no matter which event we went, we knew we could set up a small store on the go with all sort of ways to make transactions! We could sell our branded products right there, right now, and accept all sorts of credit/debit cards from customers.

Inconvénients :

Hum, It's not bad per se, it's just I know it will be a hassle, it's to set up the square thingie to our iPad and iPhone. I know I will have to remember all the steps of it and I have forgotten them xD, but it's ok.I know there's a Square Community, so I can count over there to refresh my memory for this.

Great Product for my nonprofit fundraisers

Ease of use for multiple users, good reporting with relevant info on customers, good options for setting up screens to make it easy for volunteers to use with little training

No issues in using Square Point of Sale. We have not integrated the program with our existing CRM though.

Love Love Square

Commentaires : Overall, I prefer square any day over stripe and PayPal payments.

Avantages :

Love live square. Love that it can be used for both in store and online payments. It sync with my quickbooks which saves me a whole lot of time. It gives detail daily reports which includes best seller of the day, number of sales, number of products sold and what type of product sold, taxes paid, types of payment the customers used, plus it syncs with my online store inventory. Square gives you all the detail info you never realized you need till you need it all in one place. So easy to use and tailored for retailers. Love the Apple Pay feature too.

Inconvénients :

My big con with square integration is it doesn’t sync well with bigcommerce. By that I mean, my online sales gets imported as a custom order so there is no itemized list of what the customers bought. Also with bigcommerce, there is no way for me to take Apple Pay or other digital wallet payments. Square does have digital wallet payment options with their square space shopping cart. Fingers crossed they will fix this custom import stuff soon.

Square gets the job done

Commentaires : My overall experience has been good. Square POS gets the job done. The user interfase could be more intuitive though, but in general it's ok.

Avantages :

I use square POS, but also as an online payment processor linked to Wix. We started using the simple and small POS at our organization, but then we upgraded to the one with the big screen and that was a big change. I particularly like about this one that the client is the one swiping the credit card and has privacy deciding on the tips. It allows to start and end the cash drawer, which helps to control the cash better. I also like that when there is no connection it goes to offline mode and one can still run transactions with it.

Inconvénients :

The part that I am unsatisfied with is that the integration with WIX does not capture names of events in the description of each transaction. Therefore it's tricky to categorize those transactions in the different income classes for our books. I have to do that by reconciling manually wix reports with square's.

Square for small healthcare mobile practice

Commentaires : Overall, this is a great system and it's very easy to use to quickly collect payments for our services in the home on our mobile devices. It has a lot of features that allow you to send receipts, invoices, and collect payments securely in order to remain HIPAA complaint. You can also sign a BAA to show this as a healthcare practice, which is very important. Many clients are also familiar with Square, so they feel comfortable with you using it to process payments.

Avantages :

I like that it is reliable and convenient to use for our mobile practice. With us having to pack up equipment and take it back out at each client, it is nice that the system is able to be used on our cell phones and stores neatly into the pocket of our treatment bag. It is easy to connect and use even when mobile service is a bit spotty. We have not had a missed or returned payment. It is also easy to swipe through and gives the option to send a receipt that the client can access right then on their mobile device or in their email.

Inconvénients :

The biggest complaint that I have is the lightning connector adapter's stem is a bit short for use with a lot of phone cases. If the phone case is extra protective, the stem isn't long enough to reach the lightning port. It can be annoying to have to remove the case in a client's home in order to access the port so that payments can be taken.

For a POS system it works as should

Commentaires : My overall experience with this platform is good, I only wish they requested business verification first before approving me to use them as a payment processor but if you have all their needed criteria you’re definitely good to go, there service is quite seamless

The setup was quite easy, they don’t take up to 7days to process your money so thats a plus, the interface is straight forward. They support various card types for debiting

You can’t contact them via live support chatYou will be asked to verify your business once a large amount of money is processed through their payment gateway and if you don’t meet all their criteria the money will be held for 120days before release

Love Square POs

Avantages :

The POS system is simple and easy to use hands down. The use of our POS integrated with online, loyalty program, marketing, and payroll is a one stop shop integrated and makes life simple and streamlined!

Inconvénients :

We paid the original higher cost for the register when it first came out. The price just dropped $200 this week. Our rate remains lower so it will pay for the difference over time since grandfathered in....not much we don’t Ice about this wonderful easy, all in one system!

Great product and a fair price

Square Point of Sale is a great solution for small businesses to accept modern digital payments

Commentaires : Square PoS has been easy to use and easy to set up. It's allowed me to plug a hole in my accounts receivable dept by allowing instant payment by any modern means—including Apple or Google Pay

Avantages :

I have the small white brick PoS for taking tap and card payments. It was only $20 and it works perfectly every time. I can use my Square account to create and sell gift certificates too

Inconvénients :

It can be a little tricky to do quick sales in the app, as it funnels you towards creating a full invoice. I use different software for invoicing.

Square is the best solution for being able to accept credit/debit cards for small businesses

Commentaires : Like I said, it was rocky to start with because smartphones and that kind of tech were not openly out in everyday life. but once that changed, acceptance of Square did as well. Wonderful product!

when Square first came out, people were cautious and skeptical. I maybe only performed several transactions in the first couple years. then I stopped using it entirely for a bit, not because of square, but because the public in our area was just not up to date with "modern technologies" lol. Now in the age of technology where everyone has a smart phone people are more than willing to pay somewhere that uses Square.

Square - Pros and Cons

Commentaires : My overall experience with Square as a Point of Sale is mostly positive. We have transitioned our appointments and reports away from Square due to the lack of reports and really only use this POS for online transactions or if we were to do an event outside of our Brick and Mortor. I think this is a positive system that can and does benefit many businesses. For ours we needed more detailed and extensive reports and better transaction fees for our day to day transactions with our customers.

Avantages :

I loved that Square was so easy to start up and operate immediately. It literally takes minutes to set up and the hardware once it is sent to you is the simplest set up. I think the biggest appeal to Square is that it is fool proof and anyone can get this POS to work for them. The second biggest YES for this product is that it is super easy to take with you to offer card payment options to clients while you are outside of your brick and motor. I think offline payments and the option to take payments on their app through the mobile card swiper is a huge selling point to Square customers.

Inconvénients :

I feel the cost of the transaction to the business owner is quite high when compared to other companies. They have one of the highest if not the highest transaction costs. Some owners will charge this back to their customers via a fee (which is illegal in some states) and others could just cushion this cost of doing business into their service prices but it is worth mentioning that it is something not so great about Square. The other not awesome part of Square is the reports. They are very mundane and not very extensive. It is quite clear that Square is a POS system that offers payment transactions first and later on enable the appointments and the reports. I hope to see much improvement with those back-end functions in the near future. It is imperative to a business owner to know what the health of the company looks like at any given moment and transactions is not even close to the only report necessary.

Own a business? You NEED this product!

Commentaires : If you're a business owner and you sell products or services, especially if you have multiple sites and/or have a mobile sales force, this product is a must. The access is easy, the interface is friendly, and the payment system is quick.

Avantages :

EASY to set up and use! In short time, we were able to set up our entire library online and make it simple to purchase and sell products. Once set up, everything is available to every member of team, so that one of our book sellers in California has access to the same products as a book seller in Michigan the moment the product is placed online. I also love that we can easily create multiple price points for products and can easily access them from the apps on various mobile devices, desktops etc... The percentages paid to Square are as small as any other you will find, and they deposit funds into your bank account within 24-hours, with same-day options available for an extra, nominal fee. The no hassle, ease-of-deposit, process is a MUST for our small business. Customer service has been off the charts good, and every small issue has been resolved quickly. I also love that so many web sites integrate with Square so that we can maintain one payment portal for 99% of what we do. The technology (swipe devices, Point of Sale stands, card tappers/reader...work flawlessly with each and every device we've thrown at them (iPhones, iPads, Android, laptop...) and they look good, too.

Inconvénients :

Honestly, there is little to NOT like about this system. I've tried several others and since switching to Square 5 years ago, I've never looked back.
