Commentaires : Fonctionne bien mais ne s'intègre pas bien dans un site web existant, en effet lorsqu'on réserve on sort du site de l'hébergement pour être rediriger sur un site héberger par hostaway.Et de plus n'est pas traduit

Bon niveau technique, de nombreux partenariats

Inconvénients :

Vendu comme étant adapté aux lois françaises ce qui est faux aucune traduction donc complètement illégal.Ils prétendent sur leur site vitrine qu'ils ont un plug-in wordpress mais en fait plus développé depuis 2021 ! et grandement inadapté.Malgré ces gros problèmes ils refusent de rembourser les 280€ pour 4 jours d'utilisation

Hostaway satisfaction client

Avantages :

L'interface est vraiment facile à utiliser. Le support client est excellent, toujours disponible et réactif. Les nombreuses fonctionnalités sont très utiles(les automatisations et les intégrations avec les grandes plateformes). La plateforme est fiable et stable, avec peu de bugs pour le moment et des bonnes performances. J'aime aussi les mises à jour régulières qui ajoutent de nouvelles fonctionnalités. Le gestionnaire de canaux est efficace, j'ai aussi observé une augmentation de l'exposition de mes annonces et mes réservations. Les rapports et analyses sont clairs et détaillés. En résumé, Hostaway est une solution complète et j'en suis très contente.

Inconvénients :

Certaines fonctionnalités demandent un certain temps pour être maîtrisées pleinement.

il est en ligne et il n'y a pas de nombre d'utlisateur limite (en tout cas on en l'a pas atteint)

Inconvénients :

parfois il y a des bugg. mais ils sont réglé rapidement. cependant le service technique est seulement en anglais. parfois je suis capable de me faire répondre en espagnol mais c'est rare.

Incredible onboarding and features

Commentaires : Fantastic! I'm thrilled that we can promote our listings on multiple channels and manage them all in one place. Additionally, the support structure is excellent—the guides are very helpful, and you can always connect with someone at any time if you have questions.

Avantages :

I had multiple sessions with an onboarding specialist, [sensitive content hidden]. These sessions included setting up all of our listings across relevant channels and exploring all the features Hostaway offers. This included calendar sync, reservation management, smart locks, inbox integration with all channels, automated tasks like cleaning, Stripe setup for receiving payments, and creating our own website (which was very straightforward). Without the onboarding and walkthroughs with [sensitive content hidden], setting everything up would have been a daunting task. So far, everything syncs up well and on time!

Inconvénients :

The integration with Booking.com could be smoother, but this appears to be an issue on Booking.com's side, not with Hostaway.

Pourquoi passer à Hostaway : Hostaway's accessible and available support was a major factor in my decision. Additionally, the cost structure of Hostaway is more attractive to me since it is a fixed cost rather than a percentage-based fee. Furthermore, I understand that Lodgify and Guesty use third-party APIs, whereas Hostaway has its own APIs. This means I expect Hostaway to resolve any issues much faster without relying on third parties.

Great PMS Tool

Commentaires : Overall, I like hostaway for all the features and [sensitive content hidden] as my onboarding guide was phenomenal. He was patient with all my questions and took time to answer and not rush me thru the process.

Avantages :

The integration with VRBO and AirBnB is seamless, the automated messaging is very flexible and customizable, easy to integrate with payment systems. The new integrated smart lock feature works very well and once setup, the time needed for me to be on hostaway to maintain is minimal. Also integration with pricelabs is seamless.

Inconvénients :

SMS messaging feature limits to 140 characters; the guest contact section does not have notes feature to capture notes about the guest;

Avantages :

I am extremely disappointed with Hostaway's service. Despite numerous requests to cancel my account, they have consistently ignored my communications and continue to charge my card. The process to cancel is overly complicated and frustrating. Integrations with their system require scheduling, which adds unnecessary complexity. Additionally, having a channel manager like Hostaway actually increases fees paid to Airbnb, contrary to their claims of helping you make more money. I emailed [sensitive content hidden] specifically to cancel my service, yet the charges keep coming. This level of unresponsiveness and poor customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend Hostaway to anyone looking for a reliable and straightforward channel management solution for Airbnb.

Incredibly helpful, funny, nice, intuitive, and friendly mentor in this setup process I could’ve ever asked for!! I didn’t even dream that a person like this existed in my industry. I dreamed of having STRs & unfortunately, I have been struggling to streamline the backend processes of this business with Guesty for Hosts. I have felt solo the entire time learning on my own by desperately surfing the Internet and researching resolutions. Guesty offered me ZERO assistance setting up, and long waits to speak with uneducated employees who could not easily answer my questions. [sensitive content hidden] took away ALL of those issues! He eradicated all of those concerns and easily handled any questions that arose, I just am soooooo thankful to have found this company, the intuitiveness of the software, and the people that you have hired are simply amazing. [sensitive content hidden] was amazing, everyone I’ve encountered has been amazing, punctual, friendly, & professional. If I could give 20 stars, I would! Hostaway is Best in Class!

Versatile. Like the calendar layout. Very detailed. Lots of fields. Nice Google booking engine - easy. Prices and fees are great. Best in class customer service - awesome!!

Inconvénients :

GENERAL: Missing Hide button (you have to block your calendar before going live). Go live button. Mass email function? Does it feed inbox to Breezeway and vice-versa? Automated Messages: SMS Message cannot be longer than 140 characters. Missing guest book that has a UI and is an app. No workflow notices to PMS manager if owner makes a rate change in their own calendar – no approval process. Missing an automated message for modified reservations. No way to import previous reviews with past dates. Owner statements are not automated to owner emails. Cant upload videos. CALENDAR Preset holidays names on the correct dates, or allow owner to enter rolling date events such as their birthdays, etc. Variable date increases button (All Listings) so I can increase all clients rates on certain dates. Owner increases the rates, but we approve. TASKS: No pictures, videos allowed. No payment method for completed tasks. No requiring photos when done.

An honest review from a novice

Avantages :

As a complete newcomer to the industry Hostaway can look very overwhelming when you first start using it. However, with the thorough onboarding process it is amazing how quickly you find you way around the various features and it becomes very intuitive. The menus are common sense and all the information you require is at your finger tips. I have complete confidence that the integration with other sites is accurate providing me with the peace of mind that I am not going to end up with double bookings or communication not going out to guests when required.

Inconvénients :

As a novice, it is very overwhelming to look at the vast amount of information that is available to you which can be offputting when there's no half measures, you're either using it or you're not. Making sure you have everything right was quite daunting. It can appear quite technical when setting up the OTA synching, direct payments and the booking engine but the support articles and direct support were helpful.

Great product

Avantages :

Good product overall. Does everything I need it to do (and more). The support has been very good, especially the telephone support. Without it, I would never be able to manage my business through Hostaway. [sensitive content hidden] in support is amazing!!

Inconvénients :

Setting up Vrbo is substantially more difficult than setting up Airbnb, which has been a challenge since most of my bookings come through Vrbo. If they could make this easier (like Airbnb) it would be a 10/10 star product.

Commentaires : I have tested out 2 other PMS systems in the past year and by far this is the best experience I have had. The onboarding specialist [sensitive content hidden] was professional and knowledgeable. The customer support was attentive and quick to respond.

The setup is super easy and the support is amazing. The features are incredible and you get what you pay for.

Best channel management software

Commentaires : Very satisfied. I couldn’t manage my three properties across three channels without this software.

Avantages :

The best thing they do is assist with the onboarding. All the other software tools don’t do much to help you get it setup. They stayed with me until I was fully setup. The support team is the bomb!

Inconvénients :

Probably just how not all channels integrate the same way but not sure anything can be done about that.

This is what you need for your business

Avantages :

I have used another channels manager before and to compare to them this is the best! I don't have any problems with synchronisation, no overbooking, that makes my life much easier )) As well I save lot of time on messages. Because you can use automations in Hostaway. This software is easy to use, big advantage is app for your phone. And I would like to mention that this team is really working hard and they always improve this software, they listen you! You don't need 80 channels to sell your apartment. Hostaway has enough channels for max occupancy rate.

Inconvénients :

May be would be good to make an option to copy prices for another apartment (because I have 4 same apartment in the same building), so I don't need to spend my time to make prices for similar apartments.

Sophisticated Channel Manager

Commentaires : Overall, this has been a good experience. I signed up with them a year ago and periodically I do a review of the competition and new entrants to see if they stack up and so far, this is the best solution for us.

Avantages :

It does a lot of really great things that suit my business model perfectly. It is the best software system I could find for our budget and requirements. My personal favourite is the webhooks and open API that I can use to build my own functions on top of.

Inconvénients :

It really needs the functionality to be able to automate the security deposit for guests. That is my one problem. I would have said the financails could be improved but they just released a major update to this and it looks great. Finally, I'd like to see some custom reports for business metrics. I currently have to download to a .csv and manually figure things out. The overview dashboard does have a decent set of metrics, but I want to see them over time.

Vacation Rental Management

Commentaires : Overall experience has been quite satisfying. I really like their communication when I have issues or concerns. While the PMS isn't quite what I would consider optimal or perfect, the company seems refreshingly committed to improving their product to meet the needs of the community.

Avantages :

Value, great bang for your buck. A dedicated, response customer support platform (primarily email), who are responsive to concerns and suggestions. Intuitive features that are both efficient and elegant: channel manager, calendar, and listing manager A company that seems keen on evolving to continue providing a solid, affordable product.

Inconvénients :

A little lacking on the direct booking side (which may be more valuable to me than most). Hopefully they will add line item charges soon. Other weak points have continually improved or been added including messaging, invoices, and other listing/channel management features. So some still exist but I imagine would be address if requested.

Excellent Software and Support For Superhosts

Avantages :

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] is an amazing customer care agent. He responds very quickly and is very kind and patient. He is also an expert in Hostaway and very sharp. He has helped me solve my questions or concerns on a few occasions now, and he provides excellent customer care every time. Customer care is a considerable component of any PMS so I'm thankful for Hostaway's great consistent support.

Inconvénients :

N/A. The only recomendation I have would be more automated SMS notifications to users (cleaners) such as "New Cleaning in Addition for {listing} on {checkout date}" or "Friendly Reminder of Cleaning Today {check out date (sent day of, 3 hours prior checkout)}. And also a better visual view of the calendar specifically for cleaners. Such as a monthly calender view with all the users (cleaners) assigned tasks (cleans).

Great and robust software with an outstanding onboarding support

Commentaires : as mentioned, Outstanding. Customers feels since day one that he is dealing with a reliable company. very hand driven and well organized. I am very (so far) happy. After the onboarding ends, I do hope the customer service support would be the same. Hope so..

Avantages :

I was very impressed since day 1 and how the kick off has been planned and managed. Very professional. The software is capable to do 90% of what you need and it is user friendly. The remaining 10% should be focused on what the property manager needs (based on country's regulations).

Inconvénients :

Booking engine, when you are about to built your website and you are only able to use google translations. which is for me, based in Portugal and being Portuguese, having a Portuguese / Brazilian translation. No good at all.

Pourquoi choisir Hostaway : Very basic, they sell you a product that in fact it is not like this when you in. connections are very poor and you must share your passwords to them to sync. really bad customer support, only emails and tons of tickets that at the end you are completely lost.

Pourquoi passer à Hostaway : The way the sales team approached me (not aggressive but as a selling position). They understood and were capable to answer to my needs and concerns (in all terms) which is a great value and respect for me. I will grow thanks to you but you ll also expand your business because I am an happy customer.

Meets all needs and outperforms competitors

Commentaires : Our experience with Hostaway has been very positive. We have over 30 properties being managed through the system. The cost benefit has been great and the possibility of integration with several booking channels has been a big plus.The management of guest charges and the possibility, the control and communication tools are excellent!

Avantages :

Hostaway has fast integration with all leading booking channels in the market. Exporting and importing listings is quick and simple.Furthermore, the management of formulas, charges, reports and information for properties is customizable and very dynamic.

Inconvénients :

When we started using Hostaway, we noticed a certain delay in getting a response to open tickets for the support team. However, from 1 month to now the waiting time has dropped drastically and it has also become easier to contact support by phone.

Hostaway streamlines channel management

Commentaires : Once onboarding began, I felt well supported. My onboarding specialist was clear, patient, and explained things thoroughly as well as answered my questions and reviewed things with me when I asked for more clarification. As I explore the platform, I feel confident that Hostaway will help me put my business in front of more clients through other booking platforms and my self booking site.

Avantages :

Being able to easily port your AirBnB listings to Hostaway and other channels, guest communication, calendar and changes all done within the Hostaway platform.

Inconvénients :

I felt there was a disconnect between when I shut down my previous platform (Evolve), and when Hostaway could get me running on their platform. For close to 2 weeks, I was running on AirBnB only and had lost my other booking platforms because Hostaway advised me to get disconnected from Evolve so I would be ready for the onboarding. I also was not aware that I would not be able to set a user name and password with Hostaway, and therefore not have an account with them until the day onboarding began. This made for a bit of a rough start.

has been awesome! We learned so much from him and he was great at keeping our integration moving along quickly. We were previously integrated with another PMS software and the process took 3 months and we had lots of challenges. This experience was far better than we could have imagined.

Avantages :

Hostaway offers more features and better functionality compared to other PMS programs we have used or looked at. Hostaway's onboarding program is far better than the competition. Features that were critical for us: mobile app, ease of use, reporting, listing management.

Inconvénients :

We haven't found anything that will create issues for us yet.

Stay away from this system. I wasted time and money with them.

Commentaires : I started using the system because the sales team was very attentive and sold me a service level that would be a dream come true. However, during the implementation, I realized there would be problems because the person chosen to carry out the implementation lacked the necessary minimum knowledge. When I carried out the implementation, many calendar and pricing configurations were altered without them notifying me so that I could validate in time. Furthermore, any issues I encountered took days to resolve. While they were quick to answer the phone, the representative had to escalate the problem to the responsible team because they didn't have the answers. So, this 24/7 support is deceptive. They do respond immediately, but they document the issue and open a ticket. The only good team is the sales team. Stay away from this system. I wasted time and money with them.

Avantages :

There are no positive aspects because, from the implementation process onwards, you are assisted by unprepared individuals, and thereafter, support is non-existent

Inconvénients :

The system is not designed with the property manager in mind; there are serious interface issues that, once discovered, have already caused significant losses. To make matters worse, the support team's response falls below the minimum expectations for a hospitality business.

Avoid. Save yourself the headache and 8months trying to make Hostaway work. Just go with Guesty

Commentaires : Too many issues to dive into. If you value accurate financials, Hostawya will not work. If you want a system that syncs up to Airbnb or VRBO correctly, Hostaway is not the answer and you will spend hours each week re-creating your listings as Hostaway will delete the info. Support doesn't exist. You cannot reach anyone and they only actually offer email support (within 48hrs)

Avantages :

We were sold on the idea they had all the same features + as Guesty as a lower cost. This was not the case.

Inconvénients :

Most of their features are a shell so they can say "we offer xyz" when selling you the product.

Best Channel manager software I've used

Commentaires : As I said before, me and my team are a big fan.
Functionalities are almost everything I need. The overview is very good. And I never encountered a glitch, something I appreciate a lot! Also, costumer service is really good.
Pricing could be better but is OK.

Avantages :

After using several other channel manager software for my 8 unit Boutique Hotel, I discovered Hostaway about 2 years ago. I truly like the integrated features for my 3 channels (Airbnb, Booking.com & own website). It gives a clear and straightforward overview of the calendar & pricing. Easy to adjust pricing by day & by channel individually. I'm a big fan of the automated messages (set-up), as it saves us heaps of time. Also, we never encountered any issues with sending out & receiving messages (very important!). I'm a big fan.

Inconvénients :

Although, I use the mobile app several times a day, it can use some adjustments. I'ts not the best app there is in form a style and overview. On the other hand it's relatively fast & very easy to use. And also here, it always works.

Avantages :

I transitioned to Hostaway after using several products that ended in frustration after not meeting my company's needs.Hostaway is one of the first products that offers a complete solution that just about hits every mark that I have been looking for while supporting/empowering my company growth.

Inconvénients :

The financial settings / owner statements are cumbersome to setup but [sensitive content hidden] and the onboarding process is helping me tremendously work out the kinks. The VRBO integration
