Commentaires : couldn't be happier with Pixpa. I tried almost every other platform there is but finally went with Pixpa. They are straightforward with their pricing and honestly, it's the best value you can find out there! I went with their all in one package which is an extremely good value for money.

Avantages :

Everything about starting and deploying your website is super easy. The eCommerce section and where you sell your photos for print does get a little confusing though. However, once you figure it out, it's super straightforward

Inconvénients :

I feel like some of the features have some overlaps with each other. Not that it's a bad thing, but it does take some time to figure out which one you should use. However, their customer service always helps super fast!

DO NOT USE WASTE OF TIME

Commentaires : Lots of complications that will appear out of nowhere, for no reason. Constantly having to check to see if my site has somehow gotten a new problem without me editing it.

Avantages :

It easy to get very simple stuff started, but a waste of time

Inconvénients :

They suck. I've been using Pixpa for 2 years and it just keeps getting worse. I just had hours of work deleted, and because they're based in India and not all of their employees have a good command of english I got the report "Have made the changes" regarding a page being deleted and replaced with a months old backup. They're rarely available for normal US business hours, don't waste your time. Headache generator should be the name of their site editing software.

Impressive Customer Support

Commentaires : I am a new Pixpa user (less than 2 months) and a newbie at building a website, with no coding skills. Prior to learning about Pixpa, I attempted to build my blogsite at two competitors' sites. One was not at all user-friendly for beginners (despite their claims to the contrary) and the other was too simplistic with poor design choices and multiple errors when loading images and making posts. Pixpa seems to be right in the middle. While I am challenged navigating Pixpa, as I don't find it as intuitive as it should be, I am making progress and learning a lot. The overall design & template choices look professional. Customer support so far has been top-notch.

So far, it is difficult to figure out how to navigate more easily. I don't find the site to be as intuitive as it could be.

For me, the best part has been the team behind the chat. Whenever I have a question or need to resolve something, they respond quickly and are very helpful. Also, the platform is intuitive and easy to use.

Commentaires : I was trying to transfer my domain over and I had a few questions in general about the features, and the customer service has been so quick and very helpful which makes a huge difference on who I go with. Everything is very customizable and so far it's been excellent! Much better than Squarespace!

The best customer service in website templates! Building the site felt like having a personal assistant on call to help every step of the way. Every question I had was not only answered very quickly but often even solved directly by the PIXPA team. It was like having your own web designer for free! My favorite team to work with!

Inconvénients :

No cons so far ...and I have been using it for three years!

Commentaires : I am using the service for the last five years and my experience is totally positive. I built and maintain very easily my own website and I really like the overall design and the aushthetics of the templates. For the last year i am also the author of two blogs that I am able to run directly from Pixpa.

Templates design, photo galleries design, simplicity of use, server up time, integrated blogging

Inconvénients :

I don't think that they are cons, they are just some useful updates need to be done. Just add VSCO and VERO in social icons. Add central management of the photos in one place so the user can have total control of the files.

Customer Service Interaction: I believe this is what sets this company apart from other companies. Pixpa has had a tremendous quick response when it comes to inquiries. They have also fixed all of my issues. There is just a level of care by their team that is different from other companies.Easy to use: Software is highly customizable. Very easy to Learn and use without prior website building knowledge.Functional: Website integrates very easy with your own custom domains and also has plugins that you can integrate into your website such as e-commerce or even a chat button that people can use to get in contact with you on the site.Content Management: Very easy to upload your images. Also, the documentation that is listed on their site explains very simplistically on how to get the best quality images without losing detail on your upload.

Inconvénients :

The only con I have is more integration on e-commerce for printing sites such as "ThePrintSpace". They have WHCC but more options would prove beneficial to multiple users.

Pixpa Made Me Successful!

Commentaires : Pixpa was the first website builder I chose in 2017 when I decided it was time to buy my own domain name and build a website. I will never change to another provider, now I am so familiar with the program and had such professional advantages to having my website live and set up in the way it is, which in short, looks great! I chose Pixpa over Wix, Squarespace and Wordpress when considering who to build my website with because I liked the layout options, and Pixpa was an affordable price for me.

Avantages :

Using my website for Business opportunities is easy with Pixpa, because I can update my content so quickly for potential clients to see. The layout of the dashboard is simple and intuitive, and if I need support, the chatbot function is very helpful and responsive. People can contact me directly through the website, which bridges the gap between potential business partners and the question of how to reach me. My business performance has increased because of this!

Inconvénients :

Sometimes I have trouble adjusting text formatting from edit mode to how it looks on the live site, but have looked up shortcuts to fix this.

Avantages :

First its the customer service. I've worked with this software and I've had issues that they quickly resolved. I feel like I'm actually working with a team. I've built numerous pixpa websites for my friends who need a simple easy to use software to market themselves. To make my response simple.... All of my future websites will be through Pixpa. I'm obsessed with seeing my images on their landing pages.

Inconvénients :

I've been with Pixpa for a few years. So i've seen the version of the software that made me... let's just say, agitated. lol But they upgrade and made a tweak here and there to make it better for the user so my con is possibly the video hosting. Can I host my videos through Pixpa, instead of a third party? not sure.

Sometimes I run into issues, but the ease of entering HTML code is wonderful. Just wish I could do online booking.

A great all-in-one service for photographers

Commentaires : I found Pixpa when looking for an all-in-one photography experience that would include a website as well as possibilities to provide client galleries and selling photos. I’m so glad I chose them. The website looks very professional and the software is very user friendly. It’s very reasonably priced and much cheaper than having to pay for all of these services separately.

Avantages :

I like that Pixpa houses all necessary services like website building, client galleries and selling images under one umbrella. It prevents integration problems and makes that you ultimately pay less.

Inconvénients :

Pixpa is very user friendly, but the website building software could be a bit more versatile in comparison to other big more general website building software.

Great platform for Photography Portfolio, and Blogging.

I love the amount of content that I can upload to Pixpa, and I am a big fan of being able to organize a blog, a portfolio, a contact platform, and a selling platform all on the same website, for an affordable price in comparison to most other website platforms.

Inconvénients :

I wish Pixpa would get cheaper after users reach 6 months, or 1 year, upon possibly agreeing on long term deals.

Exceptional Platform With Exceptional Service

Commentaires : Pixpa is a "Wordpress Be Gone" answer for me. I was on the prowl for something less bulky, less time consuming, and better customer support for those rare issues/questions. Pixpa came through like a mega-god, seriously. They've been superior since day one and continually show their superiority through their reliability, reasonable pricing and flexibility.

Pixpa is wonderful, easy to use, speedy and allows you the flexibility and creative freedom to build a site (basic or advanced) that fits your individual needs. They offer an e-commerce solution, as well as the ability to blog and host client galleries for creatives. My business wouldn't be where it is without Pixpa and I owe them a huge debt of gratitude for making things so simple and streamlined while keeping it professional and unique.

Inconvénients :

If anything, I think, it's just the templates. But even so, they've come a long way since I signed up and they keep releasing new updates, templates/sections/snippets, etc. I've not once needed anything they don't offer.

Smashing website builder!

Avantages :

I like how easy it is to use Pixpa. The pricing plan is one of the most affordable on the market and it gets the job done. The templates are also clean with several options to choose from. You can then customise pages to your own preference. Overall, I'll recommend this to anyone who needs a website of their own.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the mobile layout couldn't automatically resize horizontal photos. I had to create a different gallery banner specifically for the mobile layout which made it a bit inconvenient. I hope Pixpa would work on this soon as there are increasingly more leads/clients/editors who are viewing our websites from their phones and first impressions are important.

I Should Have Changed To Pixpa Years Ago

Commentaires : My overall experience has really been a wonderful surprise. The ease of use with the software, the speed of their servers, and fantastic support. The reason I was looking for a new WebHost / software was to get away from the third-party subscriptions using WordPress. The prices of Square, Wix, etc. was more than double the cost of Pixpa If it wasn't for the 15 day trial, I would have stayed using WordPress on the old hosting company. I was overall happy with them and had been running my business with them for years.

Avantages :

What I like most is how full-featured this software is for a photographer's website. It's easy to make forms, set up client proofing areas, client orders, payment processing, and customize your website. All this and more in one software. For years I've been using WordPress for my business website and relying on third-party plugins for these features. Many of these third-party plugins also have monthly or yearly subscriptions. The cost of Webhosting and the additional plugins make Pixpa a bargain and much easier for us do-it-yourself people.

Inconvénients :

For me the only con with Pixpa and needing an email host provider. I firmly believe if you have a business and website you should have emails that use your domain name. I feel that is really important and more professional than using a gmail.com account or free email service. I fully understand why Pixpa doesn't have mail services. But I think that's the only area that I can find a con with their services and software.

I love that Pixpa had all the features I was looking for in a website host. Not having to have a handful of subscriptions to multiple places was what I was desperate to find and I am so glad I have discovered it! The team is top notch with communication and are always there to help me with any question I might have!

Inconvénients :

I would love to see the program have some more custom tools geared towards a photography business, for services I would love to see a deposit/retainer and tip option.

A Good, Basic Website Developer/Host

Commentaires : Pixpa is perfect for what I want – a showcase for special photographic images. I do not sell, so I do not use their shopping system. The customer support is excellent. You can work with a live chat line at any time. The support personnel are very quick to respond and are extremely helpful. They are as good (probably better) than any other provider.

Avantages :

Pixpa is very similar (very similar!) to SquareSpace but at a lower cost. There are some interface differences between the two and some things are better on SquareSpace and some are better on Pixpa. For me, I like how picture size is controlled with dragging a handle on the picture, rather than SquareSpace's very clunky spacers.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it is not too clear where to make a setting or adjustment. Pixpa seems to put settings all over the place. But you get used to it. Also, there are sometimes that there seems to be some extra space that I cannot seem to get rid of. I am sure I am missing a setting somewhere, but that goes back to my first point.
