Commentaires : J’utilise Later depuis des années, avec Hootsuite c’est pe meilleur gestionnaire de calendrier éditorial pour Instagram.

Avantages :

Facile à utiliser Permet de gérer son calendrier éditorial à la volée sur téléphone

Inconvénients :

J’aurai aimé une meilleure visualisation ou un mode preview

Commentaires : Depuis que j'ai utilisé Later, ils m'ont suggéré des hashtags pertinents pour mes publication. Chose que les autres outils de concurrent ne te donne pas.

Avantages :

Later permet de créer des stories sur Instagram, de planifier des publications sur Instagram et aussi dans d'autres réseaux sociaux.

Inconvénients :

Le problème est dans le tarif. Je trouve qu'il assez coûteuse pour la demande de gérer plusieurs comptes sur les réseaux sociaux. En plus, la version gratuite est assez limité en terme de fonctionnalités.

I enjoy using Later, it's a great social poster with limits

Commentaires : Overall I enjoy using it better than most social media schedulers. It's reliable, it autoposts to IG as long as you have an IG business account. It's super easy to use and sort of has a built in content calendar.

Avantages :

I like that you can house your unused photos and that it lets you know how many posts you've used a certain photo in. So if I post it to say Pinterest, FB, and Twitter it will say it's been used 3 times. This helps me manage a huge bucket of content. I really enjoy being able to see the whole upcoming week's posts at a glance and move them around easily if needed.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes uploading photos glitch out. You are limited by file size so often times I have to go to the internet to edit them using Pixlr etc. Also you can't see further back than a few weeks on the calendar on the free plan. That is tough.

Commentaires : We all love later. Unfortunately due to the lack of ability to schedule more advanced post types like reels and the inability to post to google business, we've had to start using a different service (which is not as foundationally good) but does offer those features. All in all however, if you're looking for a solid, reliable, industry standard for social media publishing, this is your software.

Avantages :

Auto hashtags, basic image editing, the ability to select different times for different channels in one post, the post feed preview feature; and a solid, reliable performance 90% of the time. They also have a decent free plan with basic features and 10 free posts per month.

Inconvénients :

The post types you can schedule are ULTRA limited (no reels), the media center is a mess to find your content in, the analytics are limited (but that doesn't really matter) and more often than they should, the connections to social platforms need refreshing (which also doesn't really matter). Also, you can't schedule to all the platforms, google business being left out is especially unfortunate.

Commentaires : Their lack of flexibility in customer service is concerning.

Avantages :

The features initially seemed promising, my experience after the free trial has been disappointing.

Inconvénients :

I was automatically enrolled in the most expensive plan after the trial, despite not selecting that option. This felt deceptive. To make matters worse, when I noticed the charge for the second month and immediately contacted support, I was unable to cancel or even receive a prorated refund. This lack of flexibility and customer service is concerning. Additionally, the 59-second video limit is restrictive for content creators like myself. It forces me to post some videos directly, defeating the purpose of using a scheduling app.

Commentaires : My experience with Later is positive in general. I would even recommend this platform to other administrators.

Avantages :

I really like Later because I can create, schedule and publish content for all my clients' social networks. I can do everything on a single platform. It is easy to import and export data, that makes every task easy. I can organize the whole week or the whole month on the calendar. I don't need to be in the office to access the platform, that gives a lot of freedom. It is easy to integrate social networks. It is possible to schedule multiple posts for different days. The reports are very complete and I can show my clients the results of the campaigns. Also, the hashtags are very good, it doesn't just offer generic hashtags.Technical support is very good, customer service is good in general. If you have any questions or problems, they will solve it. There are multiple prices depending on the needs of your company or project. They also offer a free trial.My experience with Later has been positive, it is a useful and practical platform. There are many tutorials that can help you if you don't know how to configure an option. As a community manager it made my job a lot easier.

Inconvénients :

I don't have much to complain about. But the free version has limits. The number of posts you can schedule per month is limited. In addition, there are functions such as statistics that are also limited. The mobile app is not very good.

Commentaires : I've been using Later for nearly 3 years and it's been a great platform to use. Customer support is good too. Prices are increasing in 2021 (I guess everything is going up in price) so will have to take a look around to see if it's still the best to use. The only platform missing for me is LinkedIn.

Avantages :

Analytics for Instagram have been extremely useful with hugely detailed pictorial charts covering demographics, optimum posting times, best hashtag use. I also like the drag and drop feature of uploading new images and videos.

Inconvénients :

If you forget a channel or select too many, mid-point of writing a post, then you have to start over, which is a tad annoying.

See Ya LATER, Competing Apps!

Commentaires : Overall, Later's been a great app to utilize. We tried Buffer, which didn't appeal to our experience style. Later's made it easy for us to post on multiple accounts and customize the scheduled posts. Later's helped us maintain a consistent social media presence in my organization's off-season time when our programming is spread out but we wanna show our relevance in the community.

Avantages :

How easy it is to use, that it's an industry standard, and the extra features in the subscription are actually worth the price. The free version is accessible to people new to social media marketing, which makes it easy for anyone to get social media marketing/communications experience. The interface makes it easy to visualize when posts are scheduled, which photos have or haven't been used yet, and which social networks the posts are scheduled for. On top of that, I love that each post can be customized based on a platform's post guidelines and, if you have different demographics for each network, you can tailor your first caption to whatever audience you're trying to appeal to.

Inconvénients :

The only issue I ran into with Later is trying to authorize Later to log into Facebook mostly because we have multiple admins on the organization's page. We ended up resolving it by finding out the only person allowed to authorize the two apps to combine info is the person with the email address tied to the Later account. It's a hassle to keep in mind, but a small one that can be relieved easily.

A gorgeous way to schedule your IG posts

Commentaires : Later is a gorgeous social scheduling platform. Seeing the feed right there on the dashboard is wonderful and something we've found specific to Later. Having used a number of other scheduling platforms, we can confidently say that Later is the prettiest. It's also intuitive and easy to use.

Avantages :

There are so many platforms available for scheduling to social media now, but what we love about Later is that it was the first to be allowed by IG and it has maintained the same quality level all these years, even with the expansion into posting to additional social platforms. The beauty and ease of Later hasn't been compromised with their expansion.

Inconvénients :

We enjoyed Later most when it was focused solely on IG. Not that their expansion to other platforms is a bad thing, it's just that we used it strictly for IG and other platforms for posting elsewhere, so now we were left with a duplication of services.

Later is a feature-rich and affordable social media scheduling platform

Avantages :

Later offers a wide variety of post scheduling features for most popular platforms but at a more modest price point. Later also offers some features not commonly implemented in competing products, such as a calendar view that makes it easy to see at a glance what posts are scheduled, and at what date/time.

Inconvénients :

Unfortunately Later's complexity does get the best of it sometimes, meaning the learning curve, while not bad, is certainly steeper than some competing tools like Buffer.

Commentaires : Overall, I do really enjoy Later. I think it's appropriately priced and has great features that many other scheduling apps don't. Most important of all - it allows you to schedule Instagram stories which is VERY important nowadays in social media marketing.

Avantages :

I love that it allows you to post on Instagram stories, which is why I initially purchased a paid plan.

Inconvénients :

It's a bit tricky to use and not the most user-friendly. I haven't been able to dive too deep into the tutorials but I hope to have time soon enough.

Well designed Social Media Management platform with a fatal flaw

Commentaires : Overall, Later was an incredible platform that offers some incredible features at a price point that cannot be beat - serving as the primary social media management platform for our team for well over a year. However, due to a lack of customer support surrounding a key feature consistently breaking, we were forced to give up on Later and move to competing products.

Avantages :

Later is an incredibly well-designed platform that offers the best user-interface and planning features I've encountered across social media management platforms. Setting up Later with our Instagram & Facebook accounts was a breeze, as was configuring the platform to fit my specific needs with custom post-schedules, and their visual planner (offering week views, monthly views & even a profile view) - all available at their free tiered platform. Pay a couple bucks a month, and you get access to even more features - such as suggested posting times (truly an incredible feature), video posting, instagram story posting, and team management options (such as Contributors) that are truly unbeatable at the price Later offers them.

Inconvénients :

While Later's platform was absolutely stunning & incredibly user-friendly, my issue with Later stemmed from the continued issue of Later failing to post scheduled Instagram posts. I will say, I haven't used Later since late 2018 (so this issue may have been resolved); but I was continually dealing with this issue for over 6 months - with a scheduled post failing to post, the Later platform marking the post as "failed to post", and Later refusing to notify me of the failure - despite their fallback feature of notifying the user via the app when a post fails to get posted. With this issue I contacted support, but got given the run-around "Instagram's API" was down (seems to have happened a lot while I was with Later and never when I switched to another platform), so I begrudgingly made the decision to switch to a more expensive & less featured platform that would auto-post to instagram. As I mentioned previously however, this issue may have been resolved in the past 1.5 years since I used the platform.

Visually pleasing and proficient piece of tech

Commentaires : This tool is great for short-term and long-term organisation. It allows you to visually map out your brand story through Insta, and gives larger teams structure to work on the details of organizing hashtags, choosing visually consistent messaging and planning each post. The conversation tool is a smart function, and the general layout is very easy and intuitive to use from the get-go.
Ps. The blog offers some pretty useful insight too. All in all, I really like this brand.

Avantages :

The layout is smashing. Being able to view a calendar and also a 'bank' of images is a great idea. I've played around with other services and Later by far offers one of the 'cleanest' and easiest to use interfaces. I've introduced this product to a small-sized start-up I am freelancing for (replacing Hootsuite) and they've seen a consistent increase in engagement on Insta. The price plans are fair and allow for smaller clients looking to develop side-projects, like another of my clients who considers himself a 'technophobe', but has now started his own Insta channel to support his blog. After a few training sessions, the platform is so easy that he's now managing his own hashtags and scheduling with a few pointers from me. So, to summarise: good free option, fair pricing scale for smaller companies, great features (scheduling, hashtag finder, conversation manager), very easy to use platform. Remember, this comes from someone who is working as a freelance content writer and content strategist. My clients are mostly startups and individual professionals (ie consultants). My experience with later, therefore, is limited to the free plan and smaller pricing plans - I've not used the Brand/Starter packs for business.

Inconvénients :

I'm scraping the barrel here... The hashtag function is pretty smart, but beware - whilst it recommends hashtags within the topic, the hashtags themselves can go beyond irrelevant and become downright inappropriate (I have experienced on more than one occasion googling (instagoogling?) the hashtags recommended by Later's tool and getting a lot of 'modeling' pics eg #gorgeousview, a hashtag related to #stunningview etc - half-naked chicks wasn't the vibe/audience the client was going for. Not exactly Later's fault, but something to be warned of that it looks like a 'quick fix' to a part of the Instagramming that really takes time and effort to research and execute properly. That's about all the complaining I can do.

Avantages :

Later is a lifesaver for all digital marketers. I am a freelancer with multiple clients, and I use later to help organize, plan and schedule all my digital marketing assets. Later works seemlessly with IG, FB and Tik. Later offers both monthly and weekly calendar view so that you can get both a detailed and overall view of each accounts posts.

Inconvénients :

One feature I would like Later to consider implementing is "national SM holiday" reminders. It would be nice to see things like "Starwars Day" or "National Donut Day" already loaded onto their calendars - as a sort of reminder to myself to create content for that holiday (if you so chose)

Avantages :

Later makes it easy to organize our content and publish it to our social media platforms in advance. I like to batch this task and have been using Later for it for several years now. It is simple enough to not over complicate the job and has enough tools and options to make it quick and easy.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it can't save videos or reels due to the length of them or I will receive another random error message that doesn't actually tell me why it failed.

Great Scheduler for FB and IG

Avantages :

Later's best feature is planning your posts on IG and FB, and seeing how these would appear on your feed. This makes it easier to curate the feeds of businesses. It also allows you to schedule the first comment, and this is useful for whenever you want to use hashtags and don't want to mess up the caption. It is also easy to collaborate with clients because you can send them a link to the calendar and they do not need a Later account to collaborate with you.

Inconvénients :

The only downside to this software is the necessity to refresh your connection tokens way too often. Also, there is no option to save posts as drafts.

Love this program!

Commentaires : I can go on vacation and not worry that my Team's social media channels will be without content while I am gone. It is so seamless people think I never take a vacation! And my Team Members have access to the social media admin side, so they can delete or edit anything that is posted while I'm unreachable.

Avantages :

I love later because I can schedule social media posts for times of the day when I am not in the office and when I am on vacation. It is easy to upload content to the site, and you can see which items have been used and which haven't. You can schedule multiple posts with the same content for different days. You can schedule posts for a variety of social media programs.

Inconvénients :

Using the free version, you are limited in the number of posts that you can schedule per month. And you can't see the statistics on which posts were viewed the most to know the best time of day to schedule. It is annoying to have to refresh the connections to your social media sites.

Commentaires : I have used Later for several different social media clients, all with great results. I even recommended Later for the Communications Team for a local non-profit, and they are using it with ease.

Avantages :

I love the features Later has implemented in the past 6 months. Every new update addresses an issue I had, or honestly didn't know I had. This is by far my favorite tool for scheduling client's social media.

Inconvénients :

I would love to be able to post multiple photos to Instagram instead of having the push notification to publish manually. Other than, I really have no complaints.

Great scheduler

Avantages :

I love that you have the ability to store assets in a content bank and then pull the posts when you're ready to create your calendar. I think the best feature is the visual aspect. Being able to see what your feed is going to look like is really important and a feature missing from any other program I've tried. The scheduler is also great to be used across Tiktok, IG and FB.

Inconvénients :

The mobile app can be a little wonky. It will send me a push notification saying it's time to publish a post and then there won't be any posts available for me to publish. It also will say it's copied my caption to the clipboard and then there sometimes won't be anything to paste.

Commentaires : While their software is good, it does not outweigh the fact that I am losing clients because they can't be bothered to respond to my emails or chats.

Avantages :

I really like Later's easy to use features. It's very good for visually scheduling Instagram posts.

Inconvénients :

I have been emailing them for over 72 hours trying to add two new Instagram profiles to my account. I've sent multiple emails & chats with no response. It's extremely upsetting that they're are causing turmoil in my on-boarding process especially when I am trying to pay them more money. If they're going to take 48-72 hours to get back to paying customers, please just allow us to automatically add new accounts on our end.

Great Social Media Software!

Commentaires : I love Later, as it allows us to schedule to Instagram Stories and visually have a library to review. Using this daily, it allows us to quickly schedule reposts - esp on Instagram with tagging users and location.

Avantages :

The pros of this software is being able to schedule content across all major Social Media platforms - including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It's nice to visually see posts, to have a media library of all scheduled content - with capability to tag and organize such.

Inconvénients :

The cons of this software are the inability to schedule to LinkedIn. Additionally, unselecting a platform in a scheduled post can be a bit of time. You have to go bak and make sure whatever platforms you have selected are ones you want post to go to. Its a bit different than competitors but really modern style and look.

Commentaires : Later has helped me with our social media profiles, helped my time management and it has helped grow our social media presence by increasing our reach and growing our follower across our platforms. There are also a good series of online training videos which I have found helpful.

Avantages :

Being able to plan and automate our social posts in advance saves me a lot of time and ensures a consistent approach to our socials, which has grown our reach and following.

Inconvénients :

Previously you couldn't post multiple images to a post, but it has been updated so you can now do that. We use the basic paid tier so there are limitations, you can't put links into posts on any platform or tag other profiles which is a shame.

Love Later!

Commentaires : My experience with Later has been great!

Avantages :

There are so many things that I love about Later! I love how easy it is to schedule posts and change the time and day if something changes. I also love how it tells me best times to post. Another one of my favorite things is the Preview tad that lets me see what my Instagram page looks like and would like with my scheduled posts. It's very helpful because every once in a while I notice two days in a row are too similar.

Inconvénients :

My least favorite things about Later are not really things that they can control, they are more limitations of Instagram, such as not being able to auto-publish multi-photo posts and stories.
