Cost and the information collected on the leads. I like the concept of the app but it needs improvement and more functionality.

Inconvénients :

The one disadvantage is that some of our customers find it a little difficult to use. As an admin it is easy, but some customers find it hard to navigate, search and explore.

Avantages :

Like this platform. One of the best way to generate real estate leads. Simple yet effective. Liked it.

Inconvénients :

Nothing in specific. As usual some of the leads weren't that great. But it gets expensive over time.

Commentaires : We are very great full we stopped using the other CRMs out there as non of them compare to this one. Top Notch A++++++

Avantages :

The best CRM hands down we have ever used. Support is awesome and the ease of use on all platforms is top notch.

Inconvénients :

They are adding new things all of the time which will make the system glitch out but nothing that has cost on business, only frustration.

Stay Away from BoomTown - Scam Alert!

Commentaires : customer service is abysmal - never return calls, and when I scheduled zoom meetings to address my issues, they never showed up. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Avantages :

I strongly advise anyone considering using BoomTown to steer clear. They are deceptive, unresponsive, and overall a terrible company to work with.

Inconvénients :

As soon as the training is over, good luck getting any support from them because they are suddenly unreachable.

User-Friendly CRM

Commentaires : BoomTown is an awesome CRM that makes classifying leads incredibly easy. It's got multiple pipelines that help users to see which leads are hot and which ones are less. The software has an excellent setup that makes communications with leads very visible and easy to follow.

Avantages :

It is user-friendly. Easy to see leads in different categories.

Inconvénients :

You can't actually delete trash leads. The leads go into a trash category, but it seems cluttered to have junk leads stay in the system.

Best System I’ve Seen

Commentaires : I have had an amazing experience with Boomtown. Always helpful staff, easy to operate userface, and clean/modern look.

Avantages :

My favorite thing about BT is their customer service. I know that if I have a problem or question I can always get a timely, helpful response. I also love how user friendly the system is and all the help/training tools that are always available.

Inconvénients :

The thing I like the least is that I am not able to add my own Stage category for clients. Such as adding a category for mets that aren’t qualified but being dripped on.

Way too cumbersome for me

Commentaires : I just don't like using it. It's old, it's slow, things I want to do always seem to be four clicks away.

Avantages :

It technically does have most of the features you'd want in a CRM and was built for the real estate industry.

Inconvénients :

First off, any CRM that doesn't integrate email is a non starter for me. And I mean being able to actually send and receive emails inside of the CRM (like Pipedrive). Syncing emails means nothing. The whole app is slow, the UX is very much 10 years ago. Since my employer pays for it I keep going back, saying "I'll give it another try," which usually lasts a couple of days.

Boomtown is great for real estate teams wanting to organize their daily tasks

Commentaires : Boomtown has given me an easy way to manage and track my progress, helping me save time and close more deals.

Avantages :

I love the ability to log a call or email through Boomtown so I can easily see who I need to follow up with, or the last time I spoke with someone. It has given me a great deal of leads with a decent success rate. The system is very easy to use, the tutorials are amazing, and Boomtown even does live trainings in larger cities you can attend to learn more about the features and functionality. The information in Boomtown is well organized and easy to edit.

Inconvénients :

Someitmes I feel like perhaps it is too robust. There are so many features and things it can do I get lost in trying to learn how to use or implement the new features and I constantly worry that there may be a feature that makes what I'm doing easier that I don't know about.

Commentaires : Database management. Makes my job easier. Makes me look more professional. I can keep track of who registers and how often so I can easily analyze how effective my marketing is.

Avantages :

User Friendly, Easy to access Consistent updates My clients love it I love how to makes my clients register to be able to use the website.

Inconvénients :

the customer service is a little shady. I had a problem with my account one day. I don't remember what is was. I believe it was in regards of my app. The customer service agent needed my password to help me. I would think there is another way to verify who I am. I didn't feel comfortable handing over my password so I waited. It took a while but eventually the app updated and my issue was fixed.

could NOT live without this product

Avantages :

In conjunction with the app, every time I make a phone call, a notification pops up that reminds me to log the nature of the conversation and add a "to-do". This ensures that I make contact on a regular basis with my clients. I also have a stats page that lists every customer Ive been neglecting so I can go back and keep contact with them as well. Ignoring clients means lost business so this is incredibly important to my business success.

Inconvénients :

Like all software systems, learning the tricks of how to use it best is a little tricky but not difficult.

I LOVE Boomtown

Commentaires : Can keep track and categorize leads appropriately which is awesome when you have tons of leads in different situations. I can set up different drip emails for different categories and have them auto run when I move them to the category.

Avantages :

View of your leads Catagories that you can move your leads into Ibmx connection to website to show when leads were online Tracking calls automatically Overall it’s simple yet complex and very useful

Inconvénients :

I guess what I like the LEAST is that I didn’t know about it sooner. Seriously, every function here I actually use, I’ve used Follow up Boss and another CRM and I can’t use anything but Boomtown for my personal business.

Avantages :

My favorite thing about BoomTown is that you can communicate by call, text or email right throught platform, and that everything is documented.

Inconvénients :

Not much that I don't like.... It is a great product.

I almost left them but...

Commentaires : I ALMOST left them over the email issues. After two days of training on a competitor program I came back. It's that good.

Avantages :

It's super easy to use, once you work with them. Their canned drip campaigns work. They're property alert system is as good as I've seen (but it lacks a few functions I'd like). The interface for the client is excellent. It's super easy to stay organized.

Inconvénients :

They flag emails as invalid when they are valid. They claim there was a hack that caused ALL @mac.com and @me.com emails to be flagged as invalid and they claimed it was a common problem, yet when I email those addresses from my gmail account they go through. I can't tell if a person read a text. I can't distinguish between an email or phone listed as invalid from one that opted out (they should be identified differently. I'd like them to make it easier to embed images in communication.

Boomtown or Bust

Commentaires : Pretty good. This software is so expensive though, and most of the leads I worked with had bad numbers, emails or really just didn't want to buy -- curiosity lookers.

Avantages :

Easy to use once you understood the concepts. Love being able to see what my clients were searching for on my team's real estate website.

Inconvénients :

I would have liked a more in-depth, functional CRM for my clients. A place where I can easily pull up notes that I've made, rather than scrolling down to see them.

I would like a window shopping and one to three years before they buy added to category.

Great CRM not great Lead Gen

Commentaires : Like it for the CRM! Will keep using for that reason. Wish it synced better with ylopo.

Avantages :

Easy to use and keep track of clients, to-do's, calls, drip plans, etc. Great for note keeping and can share info easily with transaction coordinator and such.

Inconvénients :

Wish you could attach documents and didn't get great leads from their ads. We switched to a different system for lead gen.

Easier to use than other Real Estate Crms

Commentaires : Overall great, there will always be a hiccups along the way but they are quick to respond.

Avantages :

How easy it is to train new agents to use the system. They can begin using on the first day. Other CRMs take several months to train new agents.

Inconvénients :

It is a year or two behind some of its competitors, things advance so quickly in the industry. I wish the Mojo integration worked better.

Mid-tier CRM.

Commentaires : BoomTown is an average web marketing system for real estate professionals with an efficient mix of technology and services. BoomTown gives lead generation, CRM technology, and consumer-facing websites. I would recommend looking at other CRM before going with this.

Avantages :

I have been consulting as CRM Administrator/Analyst for a while now and have had the chance to work with a couple companies that use Boomtown as their CRM tool. Boomtown isn't my favorite software to implement or work. The UI is clunky at times but has definitely improved over the years. This is a mid-tier dashboard, that leaves you wanting more. What I do like is that individuals can easily set up campaigns and client contact information. The product does make it easy/clear to Identify which clients you have not reached out to in a while. With this CRM they offer the ability to do texting campaigns, which are very easy to set up. This is great because you don't have to use your phone to send out the campaign to the targeted clients.

Inconvénients :

Pricing and Customer support. I have help companies during the implementation process and have not been a fan working with their support team. They have never been attentive and rarely know the answers to issues the first time. Also, I would not recommend this product to a small business because it can become very expensive and you are locked into a 12-month contract that may not work for every company.

Avantages :

Mass emailing by tags and segments really are time savers. Hot sheets and best fit leads are a great way to resurrect archived leads. The NOW app is excellent!

Inconvénients :

The reporting still needs improvement. Would really love it if the To Dos would sync to Google calendar.

Lead Generation made easy

It helps to effectively generate and manage leads,track them and follow up effectively till they are converted.

Inconvénients :

The reporting tools are not adequate enough,difficult to get historical details of leads generated at a point.

Unbelievably User Friendly!

Avantages :

It is unbelievably user friendly and is well organized. I've never seen a database as user friendly as this one.

Inconvénients :

Clients entered into the database cannot be deleted, even if multiple people with the same name and number exist.

Boomtown is the Bomb

Commentaires : BT is our "bible"- it's the most efficient way we communicate about listings.

Avantages :

Boomtown (BT)is my saving grace for ensuring that tasks are completed on time. I use BT to communicate with clients without having to use my personal cell, to communicate with our broker about listing details, and when other employees are out of the office, I can ensure that their to-do's are done as well.

Inconvénients :

I wish there were more options for assigning leads- more customization. We tried using the tools available but they didn't work for what we needed. Otherwise, BT is fabulous.

Avantages :

Boomtown has many options it offers it's user that it might seem a bit overwelming but considering the advantages you have over other lead generation platforms it's not. I love Boomtown and I would absolutely recommend it to other realtors who are looking to have a vast amount of leads and organize the client leads.

Inconvénients :

Better texting templates. I would like for Boomtown to provide better texting templates.

Avantages :

Lots of communication options including email and text. Ability to easily follow the chain of communication within the software. To-do and Follow-up task assignment is easy to use. Love that is shows who is online in real time. Custom emails and text messages, bulk communication options, and scheduled communication is a huge benefit.

Inconvénients :

Difficulty using the mobile app without glitches

I have used BT to lead the sales and success of a brokerage for a little under a year now.

Avantages :

Easy to use, understand, filter, find, track, and everything else you need to be successful. If you use the tools provided in BT to be an agent, you will be successful by default.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it will lag or be slow. Might be our internet connection, but it might be the software too. It happens many different places.

Most Essential Tool in My Business.

Commentaires : I moved to Charleston SC in 2010 for a team leader role with KW. While searching for houses I noticed this website with the Casina Group that was very easy to use and was the best looking website available. When we moved back to Indianapolis at the end of 2012 to help with Amanda's parents we had to have this website for our business. Our first year using Boomtown coming back to our market after being gone for almost 3 years we called Boomtown. In 2013 Amanda and I closed 87 deals all from Boomtown. We hired buyers agents and have continued to grow our business every year. With the help of Boomtown we grossed our first million last year and are on our way to 2 million GCI this year.

Avantages :

It works!
