Inconvénients :

C'est un très bon logiciel pour la gestion des projets mais l'application mobile à des fonctionnalités réduite par rapport au bureau. Je souhaite la mise à jour de certaines fonctionnalités

The Only Project Management Software with the Features I need

Avantages :

Hive is the only project management software that is cloud collaborative, has infinite sub tasks, and Gantt charts so it was an easy choice. Also it is not Microsoft Project so I don't have to deal with their insane billing methods. Chatting inside tasks or letting task owners turn sub tasks into their own projects is great. Everyone can keep up with who is working on what and who needs help or what is holding up the project. Sign in and billing is super easy. Support is extremely reactive when I have questions. There is a bunch of stats on task completion that I don't use, but look useful.

Inconvénients :

The mobile app has significantly reduced functionality compared to desktop.

Commentaires : Hive has made communication between our company's team easy. Now, we don't have to constantly call each other, have follow-up meetings, and walk into each other's offices. We can simply log into Hive and see who is doing what. We know when things are due and what needs to be done next. Because of Hive communication is easy so we can focus on getting jobs done for clients and getting them done on time.

Avantages :

Hive is ridiculously user friendly. I like most how our team can collaborate on different tasks and we all know who is doing what and when. We also know when everything is due and what is to be done next. It makes communication and completing tasks practically effortless. Now we can focus less on the lists and to-do's because of Hive; now, we have more time to focus on actually completing the tasks themselves. Because of Hive, we can get jobs completed for customers on time. I also really like the time clock feature, where we can log our hours for different tasks and clients. Plus, anytime I have questions or troubles, the Hive customer support team is right there, ready to help. I can't rave about Hive enough.

Inconvénients :

I honestly have nothing that I least like about this software. It's an amazing product that myself and our company uses every day.

Ideal for cooperation on internal and external projects

Commentaires : Team members should be able to talk to each other right away. As a company, we rely heavily on phone contacts with consumers, therefore when problems arise, staff members need to be able to get down to the bottom of things without having to start another call. While on the phone with a customer, we may effortlessly converse thanks to this service.

Avantages :

It's incredibly straightforward, yet packed with flexible features. handling projects as a manager. Assigning work to team members, keeping tabs on their progress, etc.

Inconvénients :

The only drawback thus far is the cost. Although it is not the cheapest service we have used, it has everything we need to keep our projects on schedule and working smoothly.

Good Software for small teams

Commentaires : It was an easy to use software, but we needed more functionality.

It was easy to use and implement and roll out in our small business.

Inconvénients :

Unfortunately, the software was very slow at times and some of my employees reported very long waiting times. One of my employees was not able to use it on Linux PC.

Commentaires : Overall, Hive has been a good system for our team to work effectively. It gets the job done, although not always as simply as other tools.

The native time-tracking feature was one of the biggest reasons our team chose Hive as its primary project management tool. With a team as spread out as ours geographically, Hive has made it easier to collaborate and execute projects. Hive is always looking to improve, and we appreciate that they ask for feedback and implement it.

Inconvénients :

Hive has limitations in terms of its reporting and integrations. We would love to be able to build our CRM right in Hive to simplify our sales cycle work and time tracking, but we must still use a third-party at this point. Additionally, automations in Zapier and integrations with third-party apps are still not as robust as with other popular project management systems such as Asana.

There's room for improvement in the price system. For instance, regardless of the size of your team, you're limited to 500 automations, regardless of how many seats you buy. The gap between one level of service and the next is fairly wide, making the decision to upgrade a major one.

I'd like it if the statuses could be modified to suit individual needs rather than coming prepopulated, or if the option to delete the default statuses was available.

Avantages :

Hive is used for both microtask management and internal team communication. This facilitates systematic documentation of all open tasks in accordance with PMI's best practices.

Inconvénients :

The task cards can only hold text, hence we can't attach any necessary files to them. The main barrier is oversharing with third-party suppliers outside of the company.

I've really liked my time with Hive. It's a really clean concise interface and has a deep feature set. It was easy to learn and has been a huge help with keeping our projects on track.

I do not have anything negative to say about Hive. It's been great but at the same time the same as all the others. It's vanilla. I haven't found any "surprise" features.

I would love to see the ability to quote jobs added to Hive - it would help eliminate another program we use at the Agency.

Commentaires : Hive has been a great help managing sales orders, manufacturing processes, quality inspections right down to shipments. It provides MFT with a live overview of all the various projects running simultaneously by assigning travelers, tasks, additional notes, check off lists all on a daily basis.

Avantages :

Know Hive is a Project Management tool MFT has taken it to the next level. We use Hive to following the manufacturing process from start to finish. As the Quality Manager, I use Hive to track scheduled fabrication on a daily basis. As orders are generated, the fabrication process is tracked throughout the build, to completion. Quality inspections are reported, and documented, then uploaded results so the team can review results. At this point, the jobs are tagged as complete and moved to the next step which is packing and shipping.

Inconvénients :

As sales orders are generated, they are inputted into Hive along with all applicable documents, PO#, drawings, travelers and additional notes is needed. Hive use to be able to open a Autocad file or Solidworks file, but now, the drawing file has to be downloaded then opened. This is an extra step we didnt have to do in the past. The recent update eliminated the ability to open these files from Hive.

A good tool for multiple projects

Commentaires : My company works with local and remote teams. With Hive we manage and use human resources more assertively. Some of the tools of the platform, such as the management of estimated time to complete the tasks, helps us to work in this mixed regime.

Avantages :

one of the best features of the tool is the ability to view projects in different ways. Be it as a schedule, status or Gantt view. This allows us to configure the best way to follow each project, either by the team's need or simply to facilitate the follow-up on a daily basis. I recommend for teams with a mixed regime of employees (presence and remote) and for those who work with multiple projects requiring daily updating

Inconvénients :

Unfortunately the mobile app version of the platform still has many problems. It is necessary to change the visualization of the tasks and to improve the speed of access and update, the simple act of changing the menu options generates a lot of loading time. I believe that the mobile version needs a complete overhaul, I've already tried to use it on the iOS and Android platforms, but the problems are similar and many members of my team simply stopped using the app.

A Great Project Management Tool!

Commentaires : It's been great working with Hive! My team and I use this application every day and I've found it really helpful for project management, which is one of my day to day tasks. I was responsible for finding a PM tool when I joined the team—and I'm so grateful that I found Hive!

Avantages :

In the past, I've used Asana for project management and Slack for messaging. Hive is the best of both worlds! I also prefer the layouts in Hive to any PM tools I've seen. Status view, calendar, Gantt chart and table view are all really helpful.

Inconvénients :

Tags and dependencies can be developed a bit more. Also, notifications are often messy. Would love an inbox for notifications rather than a popup in the top right corner and have the ability to mark certain tasks as read or unread.

Commentaires : For basic or complex project management it is robust enough in terms of tools and flexibility. It has many functions and the established tasks are accomplished in shorter time frames.

Avantages :

It is easy to access as it is compatible with a variety of operating systems. When I start new projects, I can keep track of the ongoing ones. My favorite aspects are the division of projects by phases, the customizable timeline, being able to budget/schedule, and set a defined framework. The labels and colors help me individualize and highlight project phases for a better overview and control.

Inconvénients :

*Using the mobile version, I see that it limits the functionality and potential of Hive. *Also there should be clearer tutorials for the initial setup. ...However, once it is all set up, it is very nice to work on projects, but it could save headaches at the beginning.

We have seen an increase in collaboration and information sharing, and a decrease in missed deadlines, confusion, and forgotten tasks. This software not only helps to develop collaboration, but also encourages it with its ease of use and features. We use the software across our company to assist with developing workflows for our multistep projects. We can map out our steps, objectives and responsibilities. The multiple view options helps us to look at progress from different perspectives and gauge where we are.

Inconvénients :

Can take some time to get used to and set up. Does require a lot of assistance when introducing the software to beginner users. Doesnt take long after the first few tries.

The ability to create actions and sub-actions for a project / event, adding due dates. Different views, news feed section, ability to change text design.

Inconvénients :

Being able to print off selections / parts exel sheets and not all together.

The Best Workflow and Product Management Software We've Found

Avantages :

After trying 3 or more programs for workflow and product management, none of them have the sophistication and intuitive features that Hive does. It has helped our project management and workflow process tremendously!

Inconvénients :

Because Hive offers such in-depth customization, it can be difficult to set everything up to run at maximum efficiency. We have a person in our company that was able to put everything together in such a way that made everything run very smoothly. So it may be a little difficult to set up to your needs, but once it's there your productivity will soar.

Hive is a really nice project management software.

With Hive, you can catch up with your team and have very good interactions with them. It's a great piece of software that delivers almost all your needs for a team at good prices.

Inconvénients :

Honestly, there isn't much in Hive that I don't like or think it does badly.

Good for Workflow Basics

Commentaires : Overall, Hive has been a great addition to the company. It feels scalable and the easy of use is nice. I am still exploring features such as Time Tracking as I work towards configuring the software to account for more of our workflow. Customer service has been pleasant to deal with and they are working towards addressing some of the logic flaws in their design. Hopefully within a couple of months, we'll have the tool where we need it.

Avantages :

Organizing and structuring recurring assignments for a team of writers who produce over 1,000 articles per month can be challenging. Hive definitely helps keep things flowing. My writers love how clear and concise their workload is presented each day. The ability to change and insert new assignments or move them around is also great.

Inconvénients :

The reporting and accountability factors are lacking a little in Hive. There is some bad logic in their recurring actions that prevent us from being able to generate accurate productivity reports. They are currently working towards addressing this issue, but as it stands if you need strong, reliable reporting and also need recurring assignments, then Hive may not be the tool for you... yet.

First Time User

Commentaires : One of the first steps in the proposal process for sales leads is to complete an opportunity form which provides me with the details that I will need to begin developing the proposal document. The Hive application has provided me with an easy option for using the form function to create an opportunity form. The application provides me with a notification when this form is completed. After viewing the form I am able to pull the information I need and then attach this form and information to an existing or new project. Thus begins the proposal process. As a new user I am just beginning to understand all of the application's functionality, but with this first step in the process I am beginning to see how Hive will create a lot of efficiencies moving forward.

Avantages :

It's very user intuitive. As a new user I have been able to pick up and user the application rather quickly and with little training. I especially like the forms function as I have been able to reduce the amount of attachments I send via email by having other users complete required form information right in Hive and then attach this information directly to a project.

Inconvénients :

I haven't found anything that I do not like about the application.

A good choice for collaboration and project management

Commentaires : It has been great to have everything in one place: team chat, task management and tracking, and project management/scheduling tools. Team is really responsive to feature requests. I think this is already a good choice compared to alternatives, and it will be easily the best choice if they continue this trajectory.

Avantages :

Different views are useful for different use cases and avoid duplicating entries between collaboration and project management

Inconvénients :

Its a newer product and some of the features can a be a bit buggy from a user interface perspective. In part, I think this is from having a quite large set of features included compared to alternative platforms. However, the team is really responsive to bug fixes and none of the bugs compromise data or use.
