"A Fresh Approach for Performance Achievement"

Commentaires: The team at SkillNet are knowledgeable and a partner in our performance journey. They provide terrific support

Avantages: As a virtual team, the tool allows us to easily track goals, skills and provide feedback. The employees like the visibility they have, management likes that this is very easy to use.

Inconvénients: The only thing we would like is an option for an app on the phone. Our people like apps, and having to access via web / internet is not our first choice

"Innovative and Agile"

Commentaires: In my role as Dean of Student Services at DeVry University's Addison campus one of my most important responsibilities was preparing students for the world of work. It was important for us to provide practical career related work experiences for students and to assist them in documenting and validating their skills both technical and what are generally referred to as soft skills. We were also looking for a way for students to access resources to develop or enhance skills required by employers that were not a part of the academic program. We worked with SkillNet and university faculty to identify a group of students who we thought could be successful in the quickly growing independent contractor sector. DeVry has mostly tech students and most of the independent contractor positions are in technical areas. Skillnet developed for us a proprietary database/platform for our participating students. Through the platform they could access to a number of job boards and bid on local area opportunities. It quickly became apparent that students needed additional support and training so a number of workshops and training sessions were developed. Though the database students could talk to each other about their challenges and successes, arrange to work together and access information on where to get additional skills. Mike Kritzman and his team made adjustments daily as we refined the systems and learned more about our students needs in this new arena. They were a great team to work with, flexible, innovative and willing to try anything.

Avantages: It is customizable, expandable and scalable. We only scratched the surface of its capabilities. The ability to validate soft skills, to track skill development and present employers or career services staff with an accurate assessment of an employee's/student's skill set set is terrific. As a non-tech person I found it easy to navigate and the staff support that comes with the software is great.

Inconvénients: No particular cons.

"SkillNet has helped us streamline our evaluation process and identify present employee skill gaps."

Avantages: We value the importance of providing our employees with career path development and training. The platform utilizes a skill based competency model for a specific job position, and stores additional information and project training tutorials in a digital library. Therefore, the platform really allows our employees to measure, develop, and track their own project skills. We view the platform as an effective way to provide our employees with the project management resources and developmental training that they need to be successful at their job! We really appreciate the capability to customize the platform to better suit our needs. The SkillNet team is knowledgeable, innovative, and open to continuous collaboration. The on-going support has been great and the team is very responsive.

Inconvénients: The customization and implementation of new added features does take some time before it's ready for production.

This customization has required an ongoing working relationship with Skillet staff to assure platform updates, modifications and sponsor requirements were completed to our specifications.

"ITF Mentor Program"

Commentaires: We are repurposing the application to support our mentoring program. We have found the software to be very flexible. The support team is very responsive. Some fields are hard coded and require creative workarounds.

Avantages: Application is very flexible.

"Finally a system where performance change can truly occur"

Commentaires: I am eager and excited to share this platform and it's capabilities with my customers and colleagues. Everyone that I have shared it with so far shares my excitement. Measurement is critical to success. The software allows for an objective vs. subjective assessment that organically produces a development plan and then provides the feedback mechanisms for performance change to truly occur. Wow, Yes, it is an LMS. Yes, it is talent and performance management. But it is so much better than anything I have ever seen before. Oh, and incidentally, they are really nice people to work with as well. Give it a look. You'll be glad you did.

"High Marks For the Performance Management Product!"

Commentaires: We are a call center and have used this software for our Customer Service team. I am so impressed with how customizable this software is! It can streamline your data, increase communication about performance, and bridge the skill gaps in your employee population. It was very easy to set up, and the customer service has been excellent. Skillnet offers other complementary products such as onboarding and engagement which integrate into one very impressive package.

"Early adopters; used for talent management, training and career development."

Commentaires: This software is on the cutting edge for managing talent! We use it to track the skill levels of all project participants, primarily developers, and their annual education/certification requirements. We also use SkillNet to build project teams and for identifying the need to train across teams. It is an excellent tool for career development across the entire organization and the SkillNet team is impressively responsive.
