Essential platform for board governance.

Commentaires : It was quite positive. Before this software creating board packs was extremely manual and needed a lot of user intervention. Any updates that came in late were in risk of not making it in. there was always the possibioity of incorrect packs being used by members. Storing them was also a pain.

Avantages :

It allows you to signup for only the modules that you need. It is cloud based and can be used on any device with a browser as well as native iOS apps. It is very easy to create and update books and to keep them updated across all users to ensure the most recent pack is available.

Inconvénients :

Some of the user/committee setup needs to be done by customer service. While they are quite responsive it seems unneccessary and they are improving on this. If you have a small board/irregular meetings it may be costly for you.

Commentaires : My experience has been very good and seamless transition from previous portal - very user friendly. [sensitive content hidden] has been a really great help and his promptness to my questions are much appreciated and evident. It truly goes a long way.

Avantages :

Very user friendly which makes creating books seamless and easy, secure sharing and everything is available in 1 platform for all board members. Easy to communicate to them through the platform.

Inconvénients :

Little details that are manageable but having to have the same # of pages when you replace with options, having to re-link your full agenda if there is a change made, not being able to upload videos rather than getting a link

Diligent Board: Intelligent and User-Friendly Platform for Board Materials!

Commentaires : My overall experience with Diligent Boards is one of the best I have ever had! I have worked with corporate boards for over 25 years and this is by far the most "intelligent" platform I have ever used. Being able to construct a board book, make changes, control the access of not only the book but of individual documents and having multiple platforms to view materials (web, mobile, etc.) make Diligent a hands-down choice for me.

Inconvénients :

Replacing a document with annotations is a challenge - the system is designed to maintain the integrity of the document and keep the notes on each designation page. It would be helpful if there was a way for [sensitive content hidden] to make notes within a document and the notes would transfer as a "notes page" to accompany the document and allow for replacements or updates without losing the notes.

Diligent is easy to navigate and it has all the functionality we need, no more no less

Inconvénients :

There is nothing I dislike, pobably the only think that can be improve is the calendar. I would prefer to set up a meeting and on that window having the options to select a specific committee instead of jumping from one committee to the other when setting up meetings.

1. on desktop the navigation is quirky. sometimes pg up/down, sometimes the arrows, sometimes nothing works to move the pages qkly 2. sometimes auto sync dsnt work and I have to "update" 3. price

Commentaires : Diligent has been an invaluable tool for our company and for our team. It makes it possible for us to construct and distribute documents for our Board in a quick and efficient manner, from wherever we may be working.

Avantages :

The ease of use from any location. The straightforward manner of loading documents. The outstanding technical support.

Inconvénients :

Adding QuickLinks - it's involves opening a folder, then another folder, then another, and finally finding the doc you'd like to link to. It becomes tedious.

Avantages :

What I like the absolute most about Diligent is how much my Board likes it. They are all on multiple Boards and portals, and every one of them says how easy and intuitive Diligent is. Personally, I find it so easy to use; to create my books, make changes, etc.

Inconvénients :

There's been a shift in their support approach that I find frustrating, but if I persist - and I am persistent - I get the end result I need. I'm just not always up to what it takes to get there.

Commentaires : Diligent can be used as a way to securely communicate with the Board across various access points - from uploaded materials to surveys to messages - and I love how widely-known it is. Our directors are familiar with it, and even if they aren't they can easily learn how to use it because it's so intuitive. Diligent provides hands-on, 24/7 help and support, and that can make all the difference in the world before a big board meeting. Overall, we are very satisfied and plan to stick with Diligent for years to come!

Avantages :

The three things that make Diligent stand out to me are: - 1) It is easy to use, both on the administrator side and the user side. The features are intuitive and easy-to-learn. - 2) Their customer service is amazing! We really appreciate [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for always being there for us, ready to answer a question or assist with an issue. - 3) It is highly secure and provides a sense of comfort in knowing our materials are safe and protected. We are very satisfied customers!

Inconvénients :

I can't think of any complaints. It's true that they're on the pricier side, but you're paying for a lot more than a board portal - you're paying for research, for ingenuity, for corporate governance guidance, for the latest technology, and for top-notch customer service - so it's worth the price tag!

The ease of use and how much this one platform can do. ALthough it takes a little bit to get used to (as with any new software) once you start using it you will question how you have ever gotten along without it.

Inconvénients :

The formatting within the forms can become a little wonky at times. I wish it had all the same functionality as word.

Commentaires : Diligent Boards is a high quality product, allows you to overlap companies if you have users in a Group of Companies. Is user friendly, has a great support team and customer success team. Diligent software has many features which are useful.

Avantages :

The export document function which allows you to export a complete meeting pack to users. Diligent Support is by far the best/top ranking compared to other similar products in the market place.

Inconvénients :

A majority of the features relies on good internet connectivity which is difficult in countries like mine where the internet is slow and sometimes unreliable. Also Diligent doesn't allow customizing of documents, especially in the Minutes app. Diligent could be more interactive as a tool, with prompts included in the program to assist new users or act as reminders on how to use it.

This product allows the Bank to share information, make decisions in an efficient and safe environment. Saves on time and printing.

So far the only issue is that one cannot rotate a document. However, that is easily fixed by scanning it in portrait form.

Continuous updates to improve functionality, great response to issues when there are issues. UI is intuitive and carefully designed.

Inconvénients :

Updates are good but we sometimes run into bugs. Recently experienced a situation where document links work in diligent but not in the pdf generated from diligent.

Avantages :

Good tool, very easy to use with a large space that allows me to store my files such as my videos, my photos and many other documents and folders

Inconvénients :

It is a software which is very greedy in terms of battery energy especially on mobile

iPad battery Drain

Commentaires : Good for security, but being able to move documents between tabs and archive Resource Centre materials would be a great advantage. As would sorting the annotations issue.

Avantages :

Pros: secure file sharing, ability to upload large files, linking between books, resource centre, agenda.

Inconvénients :

Cons: iPad Battery drainage is a major issue. When you request assistance Level 1 Helpdesk responses suggest user error or poor device management. Its neither, the latest version drains the battery of a new iPad (latest OS and app versions) where settings are configured to minimise battery use and no other software is open!

Diligent Boards significantly reduces preparation time for board directors and C-Suite meetings. It is a tool I consistently use to provide immediate access and seamless navigation by facilitating communications and enabling timely viewing of current and historical meeting materials to the Flinn Board and Executive Staff.

Inconvénients :

The Ease of Board Books

Commentaires : I have nothing but positive things to say about Diligent Boards. I love the platform. I love they are always improving the product.

Avantages :

Integration of Diligent Boards was made very easy as the customer support is wonderful. They are patient and very quick to respond to questions/problems. It is so very quick to build a board book for our monthly meetings. In the past before Diligent, I printed and mailed books monthly which was very time consuming and expensive. I love completing the book and sending an email to let our Trustees know they are able to access the book before the meeting.

Inconvénients :

There are no cons as far as I am concerned.

Commentaires : The Account management is Great. there is always someone on hand to deal with any small issues we have immediately.

Avantages :

Diligent is easy to use, our Board members have been using this for over 2 years now and find it as easy to use as the Administrators. It looks sleek when you log into both the admin portal or the iPad and is intuitive to use.

Inconvénients :

Integration to our existing business was simple because we had already been using Boardpad. When you have a comparison to using something else, it can sometimes be difficult to accept that not all the previous functionality exists.

If you are looking for a complete solution for governance, risk and compliance, Diligent is for you
