Comme tout cet logiciel a aussi des soucis en mode essaie, alors je pense que le premium sera bien pour les utilisateurs qui veulent une expérience professionnelle.Meci !

MasterControl Quality Management system

Commentaires : MasterControl has allowed us to replace book shelves of policy binders, file cabinets of employee training and competency forms. Staff can all access the same document at the same time instead of waiting for the binder to be free. Regulatory requirements are easy to track within the system.

Avantages :

This system is flexible enough for a any regulated industry. It includes a document management module, employee training module, Quality module that included Deviations, CAPA, Change Control, non-Conformance; Quality, risk management, etc.

Inconvénients :

The suite of modules has not been certified as HIPAA compliant, except for the Documents module. Full HIPAA compliance is on their timeline for 3rd quarter 2020.

7 successful years with MasterControl

Commentaires : We have been using MasterControl since 2016 and since then we have NEVER received an Audit finding (neither by our ~global customers, nor any regulatory body like DQS, district government or even FDA).I feel secure and relaxed, knowing our quality documents are in a secure, validated system that I can access from anywhere, and that they sit in a system even our customers and the regulators themselves are utilizing!As a Pharma/MedTech logistics company, an electronic QMS system is a necessity and we are looking forward to utilizing more innovations with our imminent move to the MasterControl Cloud, especially because of the very promising AQEM solution!

Avantages :

Document Collaborations, Deviation/CAPA forms, training structure (Course/Exam/JobCodes/Trainee) is excellent

Inconvénients :

Too many bugs in necessary utilities like Action Items and Extension Requests, Management of Change module not up to our quality standards, Jreports are very user unfriendly

MasterControl

Commentaires : Frustrating more than anything, primarily relating the cons listed. I inherited the system in a state that would have worked well on a small scale during initial adoption, but was completely unmanageable at scale. After years of cleanup, it's working better for us, but the system still leaves much to be desired, and after 5+ years of using it 5 days/week, I can tell you not a day has gone by that we don't experience a bug. Fortunately, they're rarely critical. As stated in the cons, it gets a passable performance, though it could be easily improved if they took the time to do so.

Avantages :

The best feature of MasterControl as a whole is the process module. Process module allows custom electronic form development and allows custom routing for those forms. While it can be improved, it's a great tool, and in my opinion, MasterControl and most customers are not realizing its potential, but we do. 80% of our records are generated in the process module.

Inconvénients :

There are a number of factors that all seem to coalesce to create a system that can easily become unmanageable. Those are poor documentation related to best practices that isn't easy to find or well communicated by MasterControl, lackluster support, and an already confusing user platform with a generally poor user experience. There are number of small improvements that could be made that would greatly improve user experience, but MasterControl rarely seems to develop enhancements. I've used several versions over the years, and in most cases, the user experience got worse, not better. Providing clearer/more readily accessible documentation, better support and recommendations for admins during initial setup, and making some small quality of life changes would really go a long way. With that said, that software meets all baseline requirements in satisfactory way.

Keep Your Business in Control with MasterControl

Commentaires : We are able to keep all of our manufacturing and quality documents under document control. Training is easier to manage and track. We can keep track of our suppliers, necessary internal and external audits, change controls, complaints, investigations, CAPAs, OOS, calibrations, etc. We use MasterControl for as much as possible and have leveraged their tools to digitize many paper processes. During audits, the MasterControl system presents very nicely.

Avantages :

The seamless integration between the Documents and Training modules, and the willingness of MasterControl to listen to the users and continue improving the product.

Inconvénients :

Performing administrative corrections (e.g. fixing typos) on approved documents can be a little challenging.

Qx is beginning to revolutionize our QMS

Avantages :

Document control, change control, and review workflows are among the biggest challenges facing our organization. MasterControl provides the means to apply industry best-practices, and excellent control and compliance, with intuitive, out-of-the box solutions. MasterControl Qx also integrates with MasterControl's Mx (Manufacturing Execution) system, a critical reason we chose it.

Inconvénients :

Onboarding has been challenging. This is not a flaw in MasterControl, but rather a feature: Connections, workflows, training, responsibilities, review cycles ... all have to be specified in detail. We didn't necessarily have all the information arranged in such a way as to make its entry into MasterControl 'easy'. However, once put together, the MasterControl system is far superior to its antecedent.

MasterControl User Feedback

Commentaires : Overall experience is good! Their customer service is definitely top-notch.

Avantages :

It's definitely a great quality compliance QMS that helps to control the quality. Everything has a record and cannot be simply removed or revised without a reason or explanation which makes it easy for auditing purposes.

Inconvénients :

Ease of use. I think this is the downfall of MasterControl Quality Excellence. The system itself is not intuitive and sleek. It's definitely a system designed based or how an engineer thinks but not so much of a normal everyday user will be using. User Experience (UX) is extremely important as more people are using digital applications and platforms.

Total Quality Management with One System

Commentaires : Interconnecting all apsects of quality management in one system, and allowing them to speak to one another. For example, a CAPA raised from an Internal Audit uses two different modules in the system, but the full traceability of the event remains linked.

Avantages :

MasterControl is a powerful system capable of total quality management if configured correctly. Each of the modules communicate with one another, making everything in the system fully traceable. MasterControl as a company is always innovating and looking for ways to streamline and improve the system.

Inconvénients :

We are on a cloud quarterly upgrade schedule. It would be nice if Cloud customers could opt for yearly upgrade to avoid the pains that come with upgrading a large system every three months.

Master Control Quality Excellence is a compliance gem

Commentaires : My overall experience has been great and the support team always has a live person to speak to for any questions or problems you run across.

Avantages :

I've been working with Master Control for over 20 years as a end user. I've seen the product and services grow over the past 2 decades. It is a robust software that allows me to centrally control all Quality Management System activities. When faced with a regulatory body audit, we are able to quickly retrieve documentation and satisfy the requests. I have been complimented on how easy the system is adaptable to our companies needs as we grow.

Inconvénients :

The only con would be Master Control has recently been modulating costs, so my advice is to be sure you are asking for explanation of what is and what is not covered when requesting a service.

MasterControl - Where Quality Changes Everything

Avantages :

We have been using the Audit, Process, Documents and Training modules and find the interconnection between the modules to be the most useful functionality that we did not see with our other systems. MasterControl is easy to use and in most cases is intuitive in terms of the workflows and visibility to end users. The MasterControl Support team have been one of the best I've worked with and they will work quickly and effectively to ensure any issues are resolved and applicable feedback given.

Inconvénients :

Analytics / Reporting has been one of our main pain points and although there are many reports across the system and modules which show individual elements etc, there are not many reports which contain a full data set of information needed especially in terms of Training or Process reports. We also have some wishes for future enhancements to the software and this is where the MasterControl User Voice forum comes in most handy where users can submit ideas for enhancements as well as vote on other use voices.

Excellent Quality Management System Software

Commentaires : MasterControl has given us a "one stop" approach for everything related to quality, documentation, and training. It keeps us in an audit ready state.

Avantages :

Once the system is configured and set up, the system manages a ton of work on behalf of document control administrators, training administrators, and everyone involved in quality management.

Inconvénients :

The standard forms are built to address all of the most complicated scenarios which results in a lot of "N/A" entries for unused portions. This is in the works to be address as I understand it.

Implementation of Doc and Training

Commentaires : We had a paper training process and used PDM for document control, which was not ideal because the user had access to prior control document revisions. Once we were able to inventory our procedures and forms, we were able to implement a solution that is long term sustainable
We know we hit the jackpot, when the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] of the company said that was able to do training very easily because the document was attached to the training. He didn't need to attend training on how to use the software to figure out how do complete his procedure assignment training.

Avantages :

1) For the user, it was very easy for the user to complete training. Steps are very intuitive 2) Implemented a document control solution that prohibited certain users from seeing archived versions of the documents. 3) each to find document by searching by datacard elements

Inconvénients :

didn't set up data card structure as best that we could.

IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!

Commentaires : I have been working with MasterControl since 2/2011, v9.3. I cannot say enough about the support I have received over the years - you have an excellent team and I am grateful to them for all of their help. The support team goes above and beyond. I have found that more than 90% of this application to be user friendly and easy to navigate. And as I mentioned earlier, MasterControl continues to evolve and it just keeps getting better.

Avantages :

MasterControl is always evolving. I am so excited to learn that Power Bi will be embedded as Insights into MasterControl. The combination of these two products will make your users reporting experience so manageable. I love that our user voices are heard, even for the small things like adding the copy feature to user profiles.

Inconvénients :

We are on 2018.3, so not on the cloud yet. I am working to better manage our upgrades. I was disappointed when the dashboard feature was taken away. And jReports is totally not user friendly. I use it but the rest of my users just turn up their nose and ask me to create reports for them. Because of this struggle I have been creating reports in Power BI.

Initial Site to Multiple Sites

Commentaires : I've been a MasterControl System Administrator for two different types of companies now. Both companies started using MasterControl at one site and have/are spreading the usage of this software to their international locations. The process to deploy to other locations is very controlled and Administration has plenty of options in regards to how much data can be made available between the two.
Overall, great solution to the answer many of the needs of a company in today's regulated industries.

Avantages :

MasterControl bridges many of the critical functions of a regulated industry. The ability to have documents/training/audit/event forms/projects and more interacting directly is a huge advantage. All of these processes are required anyway, why waste resources on individual manual systems or separated software systems? MasterControl brings all of the benefits of a non-manual process with additional bonuses due to the inter-connectivity.

Inconvénients :

The pricing is quite steep - especially in regards to licensing it's always a significant business decision to invest in more. The upgrade/enhancement process is actually designed well with the exception of retroactive updates. Many new/requested features are implemented in newer versions but upgrading is also a significant business decision.

Good software for Quality system

Commentaires : Almost feature compliance QMS then we recommend implement for company who certified ISO 9001 and others.

Avantages :

Deviation and CAPA , these are compliance with ISO 9001 to manage Non-conformity. There are cover since investigation the root cause, risk assessment evaluation after the action to prevent recurrence problem. Which compliance the ISO 9001 requirement. When auditor audit that is easy to understand.

Inconvénients :

For me the feature are good but the security of access is not easy. I'm not sure that it's from IT set up or from Master control Excellent team.When my colleague are not access 1-2 month, when they access for Document review or investigation deviation, we always found cannot access. And require deactivate PW. It's not familiar to set up PW and remember when change.

Increased compliance and efficiency

Commentaires : The overall experience has been great. The pros much outweigh the cons. We are looking forward to MasterControl expanding features even more and learning how to better use our existing ones.

Avantages :

Document control has been the most impactful. We are not losing documents, manually tracking them down, and can now approve from anywhere. Our compliance has dramatically improved and also our efficiency.

Inconvénients :

There are still some gaps in features to make a quality system entirely paperless. We are not able to transition logs over because they don't entirely fit anywhere. FBS forms do not have the functionality we are looking for. We use Mx a lot as fillible forms for things such as donor screening and QC testing where more calculations and documentation are required.Configuration can be difficult depending on who the consultant is. You get a broad range and a different experience with each different person, some more pleasant experiences than others.

MasterControl eQMS

Commentaires : By implementing MasterControl we have saved a ton of time with automated document revision control. MasterControl has made preparing for client audits much easier as our training data and documents are easily retrievable. It has certainly helped us be more efficient and compliant.

Avantages :

MasterControl quality excellence is easy to configure and maintain and does not require advanced IT knowledge. We especially like the OOS/OOT and document control/training capabilities. We love that the OOS/OOT process meets the FDA guidance exactly.

Inconvénients :

I would like to see a little more configuration options for the deviation and OOS/OOT process forms.

Excellent product

Avantages :

I don’t have to think about my EDMS. The system features assure compliance and efficiency.

Inconvénients :

Training features are frustrating in the sense that documents are inaccessible to users who have not completed a training task.

Scalability for a global organization with frequent acquisitions

License per module per user but have since switched to Qx Complete

Good but needs more enhancements

Commentaires : My experience is OK, although I do hate the "certify signature" feature. I think that being a subadmin should give a single user enough permission to change a password. Is it possible to add a feature to allow end users to reset password from the login page? I also hear from end users that it is difficult to navigate (not intuitive).

Avantages :

Document management is great. I like that you can see the revision history from the infocard.

Inconvénients :

Reports need improvement -- Wish there was a feature to build a report from scratch. Navigation could be improved -- add ability to customize view, add recently viewed for all infocard types. Add audit trails for all infocards and workflows.

One Year on from our install of MasterControl

Commentaires : As a cloud customer it has been challenging to understand the maintenance, patch and upgrade processes of MasterControl. We have experienced issues and unfortunately some that have been repeated causing the business to loss confidence in the platform and the control / verification of updates. I am glad to report we are now working very closely with MasterControl on how we move forward to reduce issues and have a better understanding of their process.

Avantages :

The ability to have multiple modules all in the same platform. For example we can record non-conformances and CAPAs and link them directly to documents stored within the same system.

Inconvénients :

I find MasterControl a great documentation platform with additional modules added. The documentation module works great and seems to have been development well over time. I find some of the other modules newer to the platform are still a bit limited, will be great to see them continue to be developed.

User friendly product, reasonable price, infinite scalability

Commentaires : We're using MasterControl to control documents and issue training. Most of our users have gotten the hang of MasterControl with little instruction.

Avantages :

As someone with no document control experience, I was surprised how easy it was to learn MasterControl. The GUI is similar to Windows 10 and the in-app help guide is very comprehensive. Customer support has always been able to walk me through the processes I couldn't figure out on my own and I've never been put on hold.

Inconvénients :

I'm using an older version of MasterControl which, as I understand, was written specifically for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is now phasing out of existence, so I will be forced to upgrade to keep our system alive.

The fact that we have both training and documentation under one roof is bay far the most impactful thing about MasterControl Quality Excellence.

Inconvénients :

Whilst MasterControl has many redeeming features, the report functionality would benefit from some updates.
