Désinstallation du programme lors d'une mise à jour

Commentaires : HORRIBLE depuis mon problème. Je ne recommande pas, non parce que le produit est mauvais, mais parce que le service après vente est NUL !

Avantages :

Le logiciel correspond à mes besoin quotidien et j'ai donc acheté une licence perpétuelle à 142.80 le 26 février 2022. Je le trouvais agréable jusqu'à la mise à jour du 11 ou 12 août dernier. J'ai cliqué pour accepter la mise à jour et tout d'un coup on m'informait que mon programme était désinstallé ! Je n'ai rien pu faire ! On me proposait d'en racheter un pour 52€ ! Je suis super énervée et je ne comprends pas.

Inconvénients :

Le point faible, des nombreuses mises à jour qui tombent. On clique par habitude et sans prévenir le programme est désinstallé ! Plus de clé, tout a disparu ! Et sans "confirmer" ou "souhaitez-vous réellement désinstaller...", RIEN ! Autre ENORME point faible : le service de support ou service après vente ou aide : pas de numéro de téléphone en France, réponse qui n'arrive pas par mail. Textes mal traduits... bref, un calvaire quand un problème surgit. On me demande de racheter une licence ! Sauf que j'ai déjà payé 142.80€ ! Je ne suis pas contente et doute sur le sérieux et l'honnêteté de l'entreprise du coup. Je suis TRES embêtée, ce logiciel est mon outil de travail et je suis bloquée !

Avantages :

Pour la gestion complète des fichiers PDF c'est le meilleur de tous car dispose d'une mise à jour régulière pour être au Top, intègre toutes les fonctionnalités surtout la fonctionnalités OCR pour utilisez le texte des fichiers scanner

Inconvénients :

La lenteur à l'ouverture et le coût qui n'est pas à la portée des personne vivant dans les pays à faible revenu et pouvoir d'achat

Commentaires : Réduction drastique de la taille des pdf pour envoi ou stockage, édition en direct, conversion vers des formats éditables (word, excel, ....)

Avantages :

Réduction de la taille des pdf ultra efficace, OCR performant, conversion vers de multiples formats très cohérente

Inconvénients :

Pour l'instant je ne trouve pas de point faible au logiciel par rapport à mon utilisation

Inconvénients :

Petits problèmes non récurrents. Par exemple. Un champ texte d'un formulaire qui se transforme en liste déroulante lorsque le formulaire est ouvert par Acrobat. Ajout intempestif de boutons radios.

J'ai le plus apprécié pouvoir fusionner des PDF, pour le recrutement c'est très pratique et permet des échanges plus fluides avec le RH.

Inconvénients :

Il est très facile de falsifier des documents, donc il faut faire attention que les documents soient authentiques.

The plethora of features the desktop & mobile variants of the software presented on the ribbon interface makes it easier to find the desired function.

Inconvénients :

Auto-updates running in the background (especially on computer start-up) increases the temps & usage of my Athlon 200GE office machine. While the software itself is silky-smooth, the consequently stressed-up dual core CPU has led the machine to stutter the Windows interface just for a few moments before everything goes back to normal (i.e. till the short update is over).

Commentaires : My overall experience has been good. Hopefully the issues brought about by recent updates will be fixed soon and the experience will continue to be very good!

Avantages :

It has tons of features! It makes creating a fillable form nearly effortless, it can recognize scanned documents, convert PDF files to Word and several other programs, has full editing capabilities, and basically can do almost everything Adobe can do for less money.

Inconvénients :

It is missing a few features that would be helpful. When you combine PDF's to create a new file it doesn't add the existing bookmarks, which is annoying but not a deal breaker. Until recently it was just smaller issues like that, but since a recent update we have been having more problems with it crashing and altering data in documents after they were saved.

PDFelement is your best choice when we talk about document.

A cheaper and Good Alternative to Adobe

Commentaires : Overall, am impressed with this software. It is a solid alternative to Adobe Acrobat. I have had no need for Adobe since I got the license. I really do not like using it as a reader though, I still prefer the adobe reader. But for any pdf editing task, it has worked perfectly fine for me.

Pros and cons of PDFelement

Commentaires : Over-all experience with PDFelement is been quite good as it has given us all the editable and merging power related with PDFs based on our requirements

Avantages :

The main reason behind choosing PDFelement is how it merged and appended different files together without loosing the quality of the same and also it can edit the PDF so that for smaller corrections we don't have to re-convert the files along with that it has all the other generic functionality as well

Inconvénients :

Customer support and deployment of documents in other platform are the two regions where I feel PDFelement should work more on so that they can reach to that perfection level that it will become one of the best in market.

Easy to use pdf converter/editor

Every time I open the software, it seems to take a long time to load.

Pdf element- practical, useful and accessible

Commentaires : A function that I am very grateful for is the reading mode, which is a kind of night mode, it is very useful when reading large amounts of text since it doesn’t make your eyes bleed and you can read in a more comfortable way, since it is a software that is installed on your device makes editing and up and closing a document fast, something I like is that you can look up the meaning of a word or phrase in Wikipedia within the same application without leaving the document.

Avantages :

Something that I like is its interface since it is simple and doesn’t have confusing menus which facilitates its navigation and makes it easy to edit documents, a tool that stands out is that you can translate parts of the document into multiple languages, something that I had not seen in other PDF programs. It has useful tools that are not available in other PDF editors like Excel table recognition, you can recognize Excel tables in a PDF document and copy them to an Excel file, this saves you a lot of time and effort when editing and extracting content from a PDF.

Inconvénients :

Something that I don't like and that they should improve is the customer support since it is almost non-existent, the OCR is sometimes not accurate which can be very tedious, and when handling a file with many pages it usually gets slow.

Much Needed

Commentaires : Overall I am very happy with the product. I no longer am reliant on Adobe and was able to cancel my subscription. Saving me a few dollars every month.

Avantages :

The two functions I use the most: 1) Converting PDF to different extensions... Word and JPG 2) Combining PDF's and moving the pages around In publishing these 2 tools are invaluable.

Inconvénients :

So far I have not had any problems with the software. It meets all of my needs. I was disappointed when I switched to a new computer and was not able to download my PDF Element onto my new desktop. Having an online cloud version so I do not have to worry about licenses per computer would be nice. I operate off of 2 computers. One is a Mac and the other is a windows laptop.

Nothing. It was clunky, awkward and ultimately so below the quality of Adobe that I removed, but when I did--I realized it had converted every single PDF unreadable by any program but its own. These are PDF's I didn't even open with this program. It's basically a virus.

Inconvénients :

I used the free trial. I opened and tried to work with ONE document and the program infected every other PDF on my computer, rendering all useless as they would not open in ADOBE or WORD once I had deleted the program. I would not call this an app--I would call it a virus

The PDFElement program is a robust, lightweight, functional and very complete PDF bed. It has excellent tools for viewing, manipulating and editing PDF files. With a very modern and intuitive interface, it is very simple to open a document, edit it and share it. The program has so many tools that it makes it a "premium" software for free. We can annotate PDF documents such as erasing text in documents, joining documents, compressing, capturing a photo of the document, adding images, protecting the document, among many other functions. Highlight for the OCR reader, which manages to transform closed PDF documents into editable documents, this is excellent. The program is very light and runs very well on any machine, being available for Windows and Mac. Among the several positive points, the following stand out: - Editing PDF documents, it is even possible to delete or insert texts; - Cloud sharing; - Add watermark; - Add background in the document; - Document optimization to make the file lighter; - OCR reader; PDFElement is my favorite PDF reader and I recommend it for all types of users, from the most basic to the most advanced.

Inconvénients :

I don't see any negative aspects in the program, as it has so many tools that it is very difficult to evaluate it negatively. Perhaps the only point I would suggest would be to make the program available for Linux, due to the vast number of users of the operating system. In general, the software is so good that I can barely evaluate with any negative point.

Wonderful PDF editor

Avantages :

I love PDFelement because almost every tools and editor that i need for editing PDF document can be found in here. The OCR tools is quite accurate in text scanning and can separate between text, box and picture on the document accurately. It is very hard to find an OCR tools that can do it efficiently.

Inconvénients :

The first experience operating this software is not too smooth, as many of the tools is quite strange for me, and the manual guide is not detailed enough to explain each of the tools functionality. It might need slight learning curves, but after you passed it, this software is very helpful in editing PDF document.

I use PDFelement almost daily for various files

Avantages :

I like the page manipulation, and the editing features. It saves me time from having to do all my work in a graphics program before converting to pdf files. Mostly I produce sheet music and lyrics for performance use by myself and other musicians, but I also use it for contracts and other business docs.

Inconvénients :

It's a screen and printer hog. For example: I use a lot of kybd shortcuts and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 combinations to navigate away from PDFelement. It also doesn't like to load in the background, often taking over the screen while I'm working in another program. When printing, sometimes I prefer to use MS Print to PDF because I don't need to see the doc right away. Also, MS>PDF generally prints a smaller file size than PDFelement. On some programs (like Excel) it insists on being the default pdf printer, which means when I choose MS > PDF as the printer, no document is produced; I have to choose PDFelement as the printer .
