Avantages :

The software is extremely user friendly for the administrator and the caregivers too. Also easy to integrate with Intuit Payroll Online making billing and payroll so much simpler.

Inconvénients :

I have not had it long enough to know what I don't like.

Commentaires : With CareSmartz we are able to keep client's information up to date and allow the whole team to be on same page with any and all information about our clients.

Avantages :

CareSmartz has a lot of useful features that we were looking for, Such as, electronic timesheets, EVV compatibility, GPS tracking, and accurate scheduling. Also feature that we did not know we needed, task management, and a home for our clients and caregivers' information, instead of using our old excel spreadsheet.

Inconvénients :

Only problem I had/have are the integration with clearing houses for billing. We (me and Caresmartz support specialist) are actively getting the problem resolved. Don't know if this is really a "con" but this is the only issue I'm having, but the company is very proactive, and we are working hard to get billing issue resolved. Most of the issues are outside of CareSmartz control but they still go the extra mile to get answers.

Tech support is great!

Commentaires : For the most part CareSmartz is easy to use. When there is an issue it is usually fixed quickly.

Avantages :

Tech support is great! They respond quickly and are usually good at communication.

Inconvénients :

We have an issue with our questionnaire (it disappears) after a large update.

Someone please investigate their billing

Commentaires : Absolutely the worst experience with a software company. Not only was I billed erroneously for client's, but when I addressed it, I was yelled at by a Customer 'Satisfaction' Rep., He kept speaking over me and justifying that they billed me for client's we hadn't seen since July and it was Oct. They charge you per client but won't give you an itemized bill, unless you request it, so who knows how many other times I was erroneously billed for client's not seen. Then when I checked my credit card balance, I saw they charged me an additional $300. When I spoke to them and asked for a refund, I was told that they would but it wouldn't be until the next day because it was the end of the day (it was 3:04 pm). The software itself, had many glitches, and they were constantly doing upgrades which would normally not be a problem, except that every time they did them, it moved the gps pin so our staff would get an error message when they would try to clock in. Every single time, one of us would have to go in, and manually adjust the pin. Extremely time consuming. Additionally, they charge $10 per client on your roster. They make you list a card on file.
For those of us in this field, we all understand that this is not logical, and it is extremely expensive, but when I tried to explain that to the Customer Satisfaction Rep, again, he argued. The best they could do was bring that down to $9 per client. Client's struggle to pay their monthly bills, I am not raising my rates because a software company is not client focused.
So for all of the reasons above, we left. When I was charged an additional $300, I expressed that this was the final straw and felt that I should not be held to their 3 MONTH CANCELLATION POLICY and I received an email telling me that was not possible and they would still be holding me to that. Top of the line customer service right there. First of all, a 3 month cancellation policy is theft on so many levels, much less to bill me for client's erroneously, then to charge my card for $300 without my permission...All while getting yelled at and argued with when I am paying them thousands of dollars a year...I would suggest that someone dig a little deeper into their billing department, as well as their Customer 'Satisfaction' team...

Avantages :

none, my entire experience was stressful and not one I would recommend.

Inconvénients :

Their customer service (see my next comment), their pricing (it is insanely expensive), their billing (they make you list a card on file)

Commentaires : My overall experience with CareSmartz360 was a positive one. The app is easy to use as a caregiver. The website is easy to navigate as an administrator.

Avantages :

The platform on the website was so easy to use. Everything was labeled nicely. You can tab through without an issue. Customer service is good.

Inconvénients :

I didn't really have anything I liked least about CareSmartz360.

Avantages :

What I liked most about the software is how there are various ways to learn how use the app. For instance, there is costumer support, video tutorials, webinars, and word documents. There is practically, a method for every type of learner, even costumer support one on one trainings!

Inconvénients :

I really can’t think of any, when ever there is an issue, caresmarts is always on top of it.

An Ever-Developing Data Platform for Home Health Care Agencies!

Commentaires : The technical support team is extremely responsive. When I have a question of a function or potential issue, their response is timely (Usually under 5 minutes- IMPRESSIVE!!)

Avantages :

What Embrace has enjoyed the most about Caresmartz360 is that it is a mostly one-stop-shop. We are able to integrate Client assessments, Employee profiles, scheduling, HR/Compliance items, billing, payroll, and more in one cohesive system. Its interface is very user friendly.

Inconvénients :

As we have tread the waters of how to integrate a new system into our agency, we have found some lacking tools, functions, and widgets that would be useful that are not present in the software. What is nice, however, is that the development team is very interested in that kind of feedback and they are constantly adding more features monthly.

Avantages :

One of the most important things we like about CareSmartz360 was the individualized training program, we are grateful we did receive the scheduled training and we were able to ask questions after every training session.

So far we have no dislikes or complaints.

Commentaires : My experience has been great and they company has ensured that I was happy with the process of onboarding and understanding my features. Glad that say that I picked a great company.

Avantages :

The most impressive feature about this program to me is the customer service. They are very hands on. When I have an issue I can use the chat and they respond withing minutes and follow up with me. That is very important when you are just learning the business.

Inconvénients :

I wish that somethings were just a little more user friendly. But, overall, there is not much to not like.

Commentaires : It is great overall. No downtime or security concerns at all. Every time we needed support, the team were very responsive.

Avantages :

CareSmartz360+ is user friendly and easy to set up. Their Customer Support has been excellent!

Inconvénients :

Initially it was tailored to US market only. CareSmartz development team were very helpful to make it accessible to Canadian based Home Care providers.

Ease of use for staff scheduling and staff time management

Commentaires : We have been using Caresmartz360 since the EVV was implemented in the Commonwealth of Virginia. They have improved the features that came with the system. EVV billing has become easier as things change.

Avantages :

The software is easy for a novice to use to manage their homecare business, especially for aides who are out in the communities with little technical support.

Inconvénients :

Difficult for users to get to understand new features when available. Though there are trainings and technical support available for the users.

Great product - handles all our needs

Commentaires : Before CareSmartz we managed operations with home-grown software products. CareSmartz was able to meld all of our functions together in one easy to use package.

Avantages :

Scheduling functionality is easy to use.

Sometimes it takes too many clicks to perform certain tasks.

Avantages :

I like the customer service the most. When I have a problem, I can jump on a chat and receive a response within a few minutes. If the rep needs more time, they will send you a message letting you know and will keep you updated as they work to resolve your concerns.

Inconvénients :

I cannot think of anything that I like least about CareSmartz360. I feel it's a very good software.

My Caresmartz360 experience

Commentaires : So far, I would highly recommend this software because I am very happy with it. Its very practical and user friendly, easy to use and has everything that I need from onboarding of my staff and clients to keeping records of EVV which is right now mandated by the DOH.

Avantages :

The product is very easy to use. It's my first time using this type of software and I had not expected it to be that straight forward. It only took one simple example from my implementation specialist for every module, and I got it right.

Inconvénients :

I preferred if there were already a few aides plan of care that I could choose from instead of doing it from scratch. Then I would just choose one and customize it to my liking.

Commentaires : Numbers don't lie and I like how QuickBooks is integrated nicely with Caresmartz

Avantages :

We implemented the program into use in March! The ease of entering new clients , caregivers, and making changes to the schedule are a breeze!

Inconvénients :

Caresmartz needs a discharge summary. There were times when clocking in out were a challenge and I am pretty sure it is because we are located near the beach.

Versatile Tool with Much Potential

Avantages :

It is highly customizable. It has a lot of great features and functionality. The updated graphics are also very nice. It is inexpensive.

Inconvénients :

Some features are often broken - such as the viventium integration. It does not connect to process payroll. I have to manually upload it. Some of the features require a lot of backend pre-planning. They can also be hard to find in the settings. It can also be very slow to change screens.

Commentaires : I run my business with this software and it makes it very easy and carefree.

The product is very easy to use, I love the dashboards it allows me to have a snapshot of business without having to dig.

There are some tasks that you can do a number of different ways. Sometimes that is confusing.

CareSmartz360 Streamlined our business

Commentaires : CareSmartz360 has been one of the most responsive companies I have ever dealt with. They could have let us go when our billing system was not interfacing with their system, but they didn't . They worked with my company and the state billing personnel to make it work. They created new programs on their end to make the relationship work together.

Avantages :

The biggest pro for CareSmartz360 is the amount of help that they provide. If you are working on entering data late at night you can use the chat feature and they will solve your problems. You are given a trainer who schedules time with you to go over how to use the program. Their help services are amazing and the best I have ever experienced. I enjoy the fact that every thing that we need about a client is at our fingertips through the tablet. We can pull up contact information, documents that helps us with the client and schedules. Staff can clock clients in and out and from there they are approved and sent off to billing. It is very simple and easy to use.

Inconvénients :

In the beginning, since CareSmartz360 had not worked with any other vendors that did what we do, it took time to get everything set up for billing. This was not a fault of CareSmartz but a process of changes being made with the state of Arizona's billing system.
