Commentaires : My note-taking became smoother than ever. I used to have Evernote back in the day so I don't honestly know how much Nimbus Note is better than them. I tried Notion and I felt Nimbus Note AI to be better and feel better. About Nimbus Note, I love how I have all my thoughts in one place. It's like a borrowed brain, to uncluttered mine.

Avantages :

As a copywriter, I spend far too much online doing "research." And it's easy to stumble upon something I believe might be useful in the future. I have tones of draft emails, text files on my computer, random notes on my phone... And do you know what happened to all those notes? Me neither. Because I always lacked structure and organization to know where to find them when I needed them. With Nimbus Note, my note-taking is like a well-rehearsed orchestra. I know where things are. The tags, folders, and workspaces make everything so smooth. I can add pictures or documents. I absolutely love the outline option where I can immediately see what's inside each note, making it easy to access it. Right now, it's the only tab that gets to stay open throughout my day.

Inconvénients :

When adding a table on a note, I wish I could freeze the top line or something. Just like we do on a normal spreadsheet. Other than that, the workspaces, especially at the beginning, can be a bit tricky. More than once I thought I've lost all my work just to find it in a different workspace. It can get your heart to run faster, but everything ends up being fine.

Great feature-packed note taking app!

Commentaires : I use Nimbus Note on daily basis and it is very convenient and probably the best place to store all my notes and documents.

Avantages :

It is a great place to store all your notes. I really appreciate the option of sharing the notes with my team. They are able to create new notes and edit existing ones. The software is easy to use and there is a lot of ways in which you can customize your notes (especially the easy to use dropdown menu).

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it can get a bit tricky to edit the text to your liking, since some options are quite hidden, for instance in order to undo an action you need to open up another menu, which can get annoying at times.

While Nimbus Note had many positive aspects, one thing I liked least was the occasional performance issues, especially when dealing with large note collections or attachments. Additionally, the user interface, although functional, could benefit from some refinements to enhance the overall user experience and make it even more intuitive and visually appealing.

Usable but useless

Commentaires : I am leaving Nimbus Notes forever! How much work do your notes represent for you? What if you have to move your valuable notes to another system? When I choose a new system or tool the first question I ask myself is: how do I leave it and take my data with me? Will I get stuck and my data taken hostage? The facilities for data migration are much more important than any other features of the system. Nimbus had a feature for export to JSON (beside HTML and PDF, which are hard to use for migration) and they promised to provide a migration API. I have been using Nimbus Notes for a few years trusting the JSON export and suddenly that feature disappeared! "Plans have changed a bit", they told me - also about the API. After that there is no trust left. Don't go there!

Commentaires : happy with the product, probably worth mentioning it's not the only product that we use by Nimbus.

Avantages :

It's a very good and valid alternative to another software that we consider to be industry standard.clean user interface.doesn't require "training" for any client to use.Creating workspaces and sharing them is a good feature , when we work on roadmaps or tasks that should be shared with others.

Inconvénients :

Speed!seems to be "slow" especially on mobile phone, the platform could use an upgrade in terms of response time.

The Note that has all in one place

Commentaires : Nimbus is one of the apps opened every day on my desk to make the team updated on all that is happening.
the best you can also record the screen and have a screen recorded handy.

Avantages :

Nimbus note is one of my best ltd investments I canceled Evernote and never regretted it, they gave me the possibility to import your notes from Evernote and it was great. I have been using the app for the past 2 years and is just amazing. By taking notes, and creating HTML files, you can create your blog, all in one. use it and share it with my team, I have a custom domain and all are custom branded to my brand.

Inconvénients :

it was difficult when the app could not be synchronized but fixed. and when the app was closing by itself but fixed so for now i do not have any cons

Excellent Evernote (and Loom) Alternative

Commentaires : Excellent at organizing my notes for my current books I'm writing, and journals.
I love the ability to use it across all my devices without any penalties whatsoever.

Avantages :

I love the folder structure I love the ability to pick what format each block of text. Ability to write infinite notes Ability to record videos on the fly (alternative to Loom) Ability to screencapture AND edit with arrows and other editing features 100's of templates available to start my notes! (so cool)

Inconvénients :

when using smaller-sized windows, I must scroll horizontally to view the rest of my text. A bit annoying, but I am sure they will update something in the future. The android app seems kind of clunky and unnatural at first - I think i just have to get used to it

The Leader in Enterprise Note Management

Commentaires : I'm a lawyer and have been searching for a program of which I can make and store case notes together with legal research. I can write comprehensive documents and insert references and media into the note as blocks. The entire system is whitelabelled and accessible as my custom URL in the event I want to provide clients with access to their file. Nimbus Notes provides the functionality of a complete case management tool and I'm honestly astounded at how well it has been executed.

Avantages :

Simple and easy to setup with comprehensive functionality and excellent user interface. I have been searching for a solution like Nimbus Notes for a long time and have tried all of the major offerings. I consider Nimbus to have all of the functionalilty of Evernotes with the ease of use and understated look of Notion.

Inconvénients :

There is really nothing I do not like about Nimbus, it literally has everything I could want.

In world full of distractions, Nimbus Note become our must have note taking app.

Commentaires : We're quite satisfied with the Nimbus Note and they're constantly developing and improving it. Their support is also good.

Avantages :

It's super simple and easy to join the Nimbus and get started. We're successfully able to import all our notes from the Evernote(sorry Evernote).

Inconvénients :

They seriously need to work on the UI UX as Evernote Web Clipper is super amazing. Secondly, it mostly didn't work while taking full-page screenshots.

Nimbus Note Review

Avantages :

This is very helpful note-taking tool. I appreciate the possibility to import word/pdf docs, add pictures and notes etc.. It also has mobile app which is possible to synchronize with laptop.

Inconvénients :

I had a problem with the synchronization between the app in my iPhone and notebook at first, but fortunately the support sorted it out. I don't see any other disadvantage.

Don't Overlook this Feature Rich & Affordable Product

Commentaires : Nimbus Notes is a feature rich not taking app, that goes far beyond its simple note taking feature. It is well supported and the team continue to bring out new features.

The best alternative to Evernote

Commentaires : This is, by far, the best note-taking and organizational app out there, and I have used most of the popular ones, including Evernote and Paper by Dropbox. Nimbus is the most feature rich, including lots of useful templates for productivity and a good number of different use cases.

Avantages :

Ease of use. Many cool features, including lots of useful templates for productivity and organization, including charts and graphs, tables, spreadsheets, etc... The ability of clipping anything from the internet is way better than others I have tried (including Evernote). The calendar and tasks features are very well done and easy to use and include in your docs.

Inconvénients :

I cannot think of anything negative at this point. I have used this software for like 6 months now, and I am enjoying every bit of it.

The only alternative to Evernote

Commentaires : Good replacement for Evernote and very easy to switch from Evernote to Nimbus because of the good import function.

Avantages :

- easy import of Evernote enex files - Nested folders/structure - great support for embedding websites - formatting features of the editor like tables or inline images/documents - a lot new features are in the pipeline, so the app is constantly improved

Inconvénients :

- Synchronization sometimes a bit slow - some (but not critical) bugs like a not correct scaling of PDFs in the viewer - no drag & drop support to drag documents directly to the app

Great for documents on the go

Commentaires : I use Nimbus note to capture ideas and notes in a place where I can access them from the computer later. I'll collect notes all day in one file, meeting notes in another, project requests from clients in another. It's just convenient and easy to use Nimbus as a personal assistant.

Avantages :

I love that I can use Nimbus to record my thoughts from voice when driving, text when I'm sitting bored in a meeting and need to be quiet, by image when something inspires me, and even handwriting if I'm short on time to write on a tiny keyboard. It's awesome that I can take all those thoughts, link them together, and then access it from the computer when I get back to the office.

Inconvénients :

I had trouble with the block layout when they first went to it. I was used to the standard entry method, then they made it look and feel like Medium -- which I can say I was never a fan of -- just like Wordpress did. It's not as intuitive to switch in the middle. Even though I'm used to it, I don't feel like I use it very efficiently. Another thing I wish I could do with Nimbus is integrate it into Rocketbook.

My new, favorite go-to note taking and checklist application for my PC and my Smartphone/Tablet

Commentaires : Nimbus Note allows me to make notes about ANYTHING on my computer, smartphone or tablet, and have them synchronized across all those devices in realtime. So when I take notes about a project or a phone call I just took on my office phone line, and leave the office for an appointment, those notes are also available on my phone when I leave. The tagging and categories features allow for easy searching of my notes too.

Avantages :

I love that this program gives me a version for the computer AND my smart devices that stays synchronized in realtime. You can get a lot done with the 5MB of space they give you for free as well, so long as you don't get too heavy on images. There are lots of font and formatting options within the application, including inline image displays.

Inconvénients :

The to-do list features are a bit lacking. For example, you can create a note, but each note has a separate task list that isn't part of the note's body. There is no way to make a note that is JUST a to-do list that you can checkoff as you go using the full width of the screen or note. It would also be nice if you could link this program to your existing cloud storage solution (Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, etc.) for storing images attached to notes as well as for backup/restore operations. Having a screen capture utility is great, but they don't have an image editor to let you annotate your screenshots. Currently I have to use 2 programs (Numbus Note and PicPick) to get ALL my work done. The price tag is also quite high for what this program does and the lack of additional cloud sync and options. If this program integrated EVERYTHING in my CON list I would happily pay the monthly rate.

Great alternative to other Note apps, with a lot of personalization.

I manage two organizations within Nimbus and each has its own branding and have been working great as a Knowledge base and to organize SOPs.

Avantages :

There are a lot of things I like about Nimbus. I can create the notes I need with a lot of options to format the text, add images, videos and external elements including Iframes and javascript. The notes can be personalized and organized in a logical order with an Automatic table of contents. Within an Organization, we can divide the notes in workspaces with individual access. We can prepare public notes, with our brand (logo, favicon and subdomain) and protect it with a password if required.💙

Inconvénients :

There are some options to configure the text, but would be great if we could set a global configuration like setting all H1 to a certain size and color (per organization). We can manually update the color, though. Would be great to have an "Organization wide" search option, rather than only per workspace. Due to all its options sometimes it feels a bit slow to load, but happy to wait a bit if we can take advantage of all the possibilities.

Excellent alternative to Evernote

Inconvénients :

The web clipper sometimes completely fails in preserving a page format and that's annoying. Never happens with Evernote. The import from Evernote is 50%. tough to blame them as their is no standard they can rely on.

Stunning and feature-rich alternative to the biggies in the game

Avantages :

Nimbus has become my go-to app now because it has one amazing feature that no one else has - custom domain/CNAME support - makes it so easy to share resources or content with your team or community. Best of all, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is super approachable and always open to hear ideas, suggestions from the users. I have seen a few my suggestions implemented in a matter of weeks.

Inconvénients :

The team amazingly responsive so I don't have a con. I remember how Nimbus was a few years ago, it has drastically changed now. Well done

Nimbus Note Keeps Me Organized and Productive

Commentaires : I love this software. Just love it. It allows me to quickly dump ideas and keep track of all kinds of things, both personal and for work in all kinds of formats and in a way that makes it really quick and easy not to lose information.

Avantages :

I live that Nimbus Note is so flexible when it comes to how I want to record and organize my information. It's really quick to jot notes down so that I don't forget them and I use it a lot both on my phone and on my desktop to keep track of my to do lists, ideas for products, work processes, product creation, snippets of writing, favorite quotes. You name it and I use Nimbus Note for it.

Inconvénients :

There isn't a proper spreadsheet which I sometimes want to incorporate in what I'm doing. I can embed or link to a spreadsheet but sometimes I just want to turn a table into a spreadsheet with totals and I haven't discovered how to do that. Other than that, the tables are very flexible with a lot of different ways to use the cells for different formats.

Very comprehensive note taking app

Avantages :

There is a wide variety of formatting and editing options available to make your notes the way you want them. It also securely keeps your notes while also keeping them easily accessible. The software is also quite simple to get accustomed to

Inconvénients :

The undo button is not very visible so it may take some time to adjust a document if you're in a hurry

Nimbus Note is what Evernote should have been!

Commentaires : Nimbus Note is the only app aside from my email that is always open on my computer and I access it many times each day from my phone. It is incredibly feature rich and has opened up organizational opportunities that I didn't know I needed. The [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]— is very accessible and support is quick and detailed.

Avantages :

I am a collector of ideas and articles. As a solo entrepreneur and content creator I am constantly collecting tidbits as I surf the web. Nimbus Note organizes my brain. Categories, folders, tags, workspaces — all awesome and very easy to maintain. The ability to embed a Nimbus Note in a web page for easy updating is the digital notebook feature that I never knew that I needed.

Inconvénients :

I wish I could have imported my Apple Notes into Nimbus Note — but I have a feeling this is less about Nimbus Note than it is Apple.

Not just for taking notes...love it!

Commentaires : This is the first product I've found that enables me to pull full or particle articles from the web and store them in folders for later review. I use it daily.

Avantages :

What I love most about Nimbus Note is that it's not just for note taking. I review a lot of articles daily for course study. I needed a way to extract pertinent information to review at a later time. Nimbus Note has an add-on that allows you to clip full or fragments of articles that are then saved to Nimbus Note. It's helpful to have all of the articles in one place and separated into folders where I can go back and review later.

Inconvénients :

When adding articles to Nimbus Note, the link to the original article isn't included, only a link to Nimbus Note where the extracted article has been placed. It would be great to have the original article link in case I need to go back for a review.
