Commentaires : It's a good VPN, I recommend using it for just some private browsing.

Avantages :

The UI is nice, the connection is stable with multiple options. It has a kill switch which is very important for VPN services.

Inconvénients :

It comes with a cost which makes it hard to use for freelancing when you are a student.

Best VPN solution for beginners for basic needs

Commentaires : Although,it is not an advanced level VPN but still a better choice for most basic requirements for a VPN features. New users should try it's free plan of 500 Mb per month to know the performance and features then switch to a paid plan.It is not as feature rich as other available VPN software but should be enough for specific task needs that one need to do regularly like IP & traffic security. Ease of use and quick setup makes it a suitable option for start ups and individuals .

Avantages :

First of all it is a beginner user friendly software that is get you started as soon as few clicks away.Not much configuration and settings needed. Apps and browser extensions are available for multiple OS and devices like respectively.Free plan is available to test performance for your specific network task requirement.It protects user's privacy through its no logging policy.Security is ensured by independent yearly audit make it a credible software to use. Another good feature is P2P connection which allows for use as secure torrent network.It supports split tunneling but only on android.

Inconvénients :

Major thing is the less support for unblocking streaming services like Netflix, in all locations.Other is customer support which is limited and not always available for solving commonly faced issues. Availability is limited to a set of listed countries.It does not support split tunneling except on android.

Good free VPN with limited data allowance

Commentaires : It's a free VPN but the free allowance is only 2000 MB which may be limited for some people

Avantages :

It is free to use up to 2000 MB which allows for streaming a few movies

Inconvénients :

At one point I had to reinstall the software as it has stopped working

Good all round VPN

Avantages :

The Ui is good you can select your location either using a map or a drop down list. Its been pretty reliable for me and also when you turn it on it makes a raaahhh noise like a bear roaring!

Inconvénients :

With software its good to test drive it and Tunnelbear offers a free plan but the amount of data that you get with it is quite small (2GB a month) compared to other products like Windscribe (10GB a month).

A VPN experience that delights

- To start, TunnelBear offers a 500MB free trial that renews every month
- Subscription payment was straightforward and fast
- They offer apps across many different platforms so that I can use my account across all of my devices
- Each app is more or less the same on all devices and intuitive and user-friendly experience
- Changing VPN location is a breeze. Performance and reliability is great.
- Cancelling was easy and straightforward when I no longer needed a VPN.
- Resubscribing again when I needed was also very simple. Overall, there were no moments of frustration or even the slightest hang-up in the entire experience. I never got unnecessary notifications, pop-ups, or emails that disrupt my focus.

Avantages :

The overall UX is very pleasant and there is little to no friction at any point in the customer journey. Most importantly for me, TunnelBear focuses solely on their VPN and therefore doesn't attempt to cross-sell a suite of other products to me.

Inconvénients :

TunnelBear as of right now (5/27/21) offers servers in 38 countries. Some of the more established VPN providers offer more countries. I sometimes wish to access content from Russia that is otherwise blocked in the US however, TunnelBear does not have servers in Russia. Other providers do.

Good VPN for non-pre

Commentaires : I have a good experience with TunnelBear. It works well for me most of the time and has Linux support. Their free plan is quite limited compared to other VPN solutions, but I find the premium price is pretty reasonable if you plan to use the service long-term.

Avantages :

- Non-cluttered UI, simple and easy to use. - Limit support on Linux. Would be nice if they can develop more on this function.

Inconvénients :

- It doesn't work with Netflix and other streaming services. - Availability is only limited to some countries. - Limited free plan, 500MB monthly at the time I'm writing this. You would need a paid subscription to use it daily

The best VPN with a bear

Commentaires : My company have bought paid subscription for another VPN client, which has really terrible support and doesn't do the basic thing it is supposed to change your location and IP. Since I have to do my work and the other VPN didn't work as supposed to I had to install the TunnelBear app and use the free option in order to finish my work.

Avantages :

This is the easiest most user friendly VPN which I have ever used. And I've used a lot. I really like that it is fool prof, works fast, you can try it for free and does what it is supposed to do.

Inconvénients :

I would've like to have the chance of choosing different servers on a specific location. Other than that there is nothing more I would add

Avantages :

Great UX and the easy of use is really impressive. When using on iPhone it's really nice they suggest you to turn on TunnelBear when you are about to connect to a very insecure network

Literally nothing. The company is always very open even about the third party security companies do about them.

Commentaires : My overall experience was that of pleasantry in the aspects of I felt confidant that tunnel bear had my back and put the time and effort into there software so I never felt that my privacy was in question and to be quite honest I am a big kid so I enjoyed the animation of the bear I would always pick a far off server just to watch the bear.

Avantages :

So what I have to say first because it is my favorite aspect of this software was the user friendly and visually gratifying layout of this software, So many VPN software's can be very confusing to a person with not very much background in the pc world. The layout of this software visually makes it to where you can understand what is happening. Picture this you have a map with a little bear sitting in a pipe that has an uncanny resemblance to Mario and has multiple locations across the globe for you to choose from . Now once you pic a location you see the bear hop down his pipe and quite literally dig a tunnel to the location of the server you are wanting to connect to. The re ups in data quantity is also very cost friendly they do not tax you hardcore there server connections listed are consistent and they care about there customers what else could you really ask for.

Inconvénients :

The only complaint and it may have been I just had a hard time doing it and I have computer background so I am quite positive our less knowledgeable users definitely would is that merging your vpn information into the windows 10 operating system was a little harder them I would have like but in the end I just kept it as tunnel bear it was more fun to look at anyways.

Great travel VPN for computer and mobile

Commentaires : An easy to use VPN for both my computer and mobile device, I usually use it when I am travelling and on an unfamiliar network and am worried about my personal security.

Avantages :

This is very easy to use both on a computer and a mobile phone when you are on untrusted networks and want a secure connection. There are plenty of different options of locations to "tunnel" to, which is nice. Additionally, the price is not too bad for a VPN service, and it goes down if you buy larger packages. I have never really experienced that many connection issues when using TunnelBear, which is a big plus considering other VPNs drop me frequently.

Inconvénients :

There are other VPNs that provide just as much security, if not more due to legal requirements of collecting data on customers. TunnelBear does not collect logs, but still beware that Canada, where they are based, has very strict privacy laws and anti-P2P laws.

TunnelBear's user interface, in addition to being intuitive and modern is fun, the application is a breath of fresh air in a world of applications that take themselves too seriously. TunnelBear has a rich feature set, everything you expect from a VPN is here including an option to hide the fact that you're using a VPN. TunnelBear has native applications across all the platforms you're familiar with including mobile and browser extensions. All of this while remaining rather inexpensive.

Inconvénients :

There's nothing not to like here, the service is reliable and consistent. The applications are stable and secure.

Easiest VPN Setup

Commentaires : Tunnelbear is really easy to setup and use, which is a major selling point, especially since it is available on PC, Android and iOS. This means I can get any of my devices up and running with a fast, secure VPN within minutes. This allows for a more secure connection no matter where I am and provides the peace of mind that sensitive data are safe from any unwanted third party.

Avantages :

Tunnelbear has really good servers with low latency compared to many other competitors. The simple user interface means anyone can get a VPN working without any technical know-how.

Inconvénients :

Lack of server locations and does not prevent most streaming sites from getting geo-blocked (that means no netflix). The simplified user interface, while making the app easy to use, also lacks features that one might expect from a VPN.

TunnelBear review

Avantages :

I liked the easy to use interface, the quick and efficient connection speed, and the ability to customize settings to suit my needs. TunnelBear also offers a generous free plan with 500MB of data per month, which I found to be very helpful. The customer support team was also friendly and helpful in answering my questions. Overall, TunnelBear provided a great service at a very reasonable price.

Inconvénients :

The least thing I like about TunnelBear is that it can be slow at times. This can cause a decrease in page loading speeds and can be quite annoying.

Commentaires : TunnelBear has afforded me a comprehensive and inexpensive VPN solution that I can use across all my devices with no issue. The service is reliable and consistent.

A Free VPN That's Easy To Use And Just Works

Commentaires : I use TunnelBear for access to sites that are IP blocked in my home country - eg, some US websites are not GDPR compliant and block European visitors. TunnelBear gets round that problem. Installation and use is simple and the connection can be quickly switched on and off to conserve data. If accessing a proxy was more mission-critical for my business then I may look at alternatives but for my uses, TunnelBear is a friendly and easy to use service.

Avantages :

Such an easy product to use - just select the country you want to tunnel to (there are 22 at the moment), and TunnelBear does the rest. It's free to use for up to 500MB per month, but if you tweet about it, you gain an extra 1GB per month. Connection speeds were variable - I find European speeds can be slow - maybe a few MB/s, but itr seems to depend on the time of day.

Inconvénients :

The main drawback is the amount of data you obtain for free: 1.5GB won't go far if you use this every day. That said, for occasional use that doesn't require very high speeds, it's perfect. If you want to gain access to unlimited data you'll be paying $9.99 a month or $4.99 if you pay for a year in one go.

Easy to Use VPN with Charming UI

Avantages :

TunnelBear does everything I need a VPN to do and its simple enough to use that I can safely recommend it to anyone. I'm half embarassed to say that the bear jokes make me kind of happy. That instead of something like "Your VPN is now on" it says "Rawr! Browsing from a secure tunnel in [country]"

Inconvénients :

This wasn't a problem for me, but I've seen other VPNs with more countries as options. Some even have specific cities. TunnelBear doesn't have this, but I've never needed it.

VPN full of bears

Commentaires : Some websites are in my country geo-blocked like Hulu or CBS. I solved this problem by using TunnelBear. It works flawlessly every time. I don't even notice I am using a VPN because the speed of download and upload is almost the same as my carrier provide.

When you press to turn on the button you are greeted with a nice animation of a bear digging a tunnel from your country to a selected country. Their dedication to those little details and overall quality of service is what makes TunnelBear the best VPN. If you bought their subscription because the free plan doesn't meet your requirements then you can enjoy their VPN service on all your devices. The mobile app has some features that other competitors still don't have. One example is VigilantBear - this stops all your internet connection if it becomes unstable and you are likely to be reconnected so there won't be any privacy leaks. Also, in their terms of service is written that they don't keep or sell your browsing history and other data as some other companies do. So, if you are very vigilant about your internet privacy TunnelBear is a must-go choice.

Inconvénients :

The only downside of TunnelBear is their pricing if you choose monthly plan but most of the users usually choose year plan so they don't have to bother with that and usually with a monthly plan there is a lot more saving. In TunnelBear is this enormous 50%.

Great, easy to use VPN

Commentaires : Provides an extra layer of security for work when out and about away from my home network as well as access to more content for personal entertainment.

Avantages :

Very easy to setup and use, both on MacOS and iOS. Cute user interface makes VPNs seem more accessible to the less tech savvy. Worked for both an added layer of security when on public wifi networks and for access content/sites otherwise location blocked when traveling.

Inconvénients :

Free trial somewhat limited at 500mb, trying it out with YouTube or other video burns through it extremely quickly. Month to month subscription also more expensive than other similar options; need to commit to an annual subscription to get a more reasonable monthly rate.

Avantages :

Many applications where you work on the Internet are full of Venezuelan participants due to the economic situation that crosses the country, so many times I wanted to enter these pages and to identify my IP reject me alleging that Venezuelan quotas are full, but They invite us to change the IP to be part of their team, that's why I started using TUNNEL BEAR, because it allows me to change my IP in an easy, fast and virtual way without having to download any application, just open an account in the page, it is programmed and instantly my IP changes, I think it's great.

I have no disadvantages that adding the application works for the purpose I need it, I consider it very good and I recommend it.

Best VPN Software

Commentaires : I use TunnelBear VPN when I am connected to public WiFi network and also when I am doing online shopping to mask my IP address. It allows me to unblock Geo restricted content and provide unlimited bandwidth for premium users

TunnelBear VPN is simple and easy to use. It allows for Auto connect to WiFi or Mobile network and have more than 30 servers worldwide

Avantages :

With the implementation of GDPR we have found the need to test sites from locations around the world to see how they display and react to location specific requirements. Tunnel bear's ease of use and integration allows us to do this easily without slowing down the team.

Inconvénients :

Not so much a con but I have had it twice that when connecting to a VPN to specific county the IP given was not actually of that country. I contacted support and it was resolved quickly.

TunnelBear is a great VPN software. It is easy to use, easy to switch from one country to another, has great privacy settings, and their logo is super cute. Their website is very appealing too!

Inconvénients :

I wish there were more countries to choose from. It is also pricey. Additionally, they offer 500MB each month for free which is extremely low. Lastly, it used to work on Netflix, but Netflix changed its privacy settings and unfortunately doesn't work anymore.

A Simple VPN Service !!

Its very easy to install, no more technical knowlege require to install, mutliplaform supported like ios, android, macos and windows. You can quckly switch to another country easily while browsing . Sometime Specific Websites are blocked in specific countries so using tunnelbear you can easily access those websites by switching to another country. They also gives some free MB occationally,

Inconvénients :

Free space is limited they should give some more free space. i am free user of tunnelbear so there are no more drawbacks as per my opinion.
