Innovint is an essential part of our winery workflow.

Commentaires : Clean and easy tracking of winery inventory and operations. I am most excited about having ready access to data about past vintages as time progresses and we're looking back at previous years. Having all that data in a well-functioning system is key to our success. At my first winery job, we used very archaic software to manage production, and the burden of using that system nearly outweighed the benefits thereto. Not the case with Innovint.

Avantages :

Design and interface is clean, modern, and functional. Most operations are very easy to track. Configurable templates for repetitive operations allow you to customize your workflow to your winery processes. iPhone app is very handy on the winery floor for data capture and retrieval on the fly. Generating compliance forms has seemed to go very smoothly so far (hopefully that will continue as our operation gets more complex).

Inconvénients :

Really need an Android app. (I'm an iOS user, so I'm fine, but my partner in the winery is an Android guy and he's out in the cold.) I'd love to see some costing functionality added to make life easier on us from an accounting perspective. It's a little burdensome at this point to manually convey wine movements to the accountants for them to integrate into our COGS tracking.

Much better than other programs

Commentaires : Overall very good. I like the people they have hired and I enjoy using the system day-to-day.

Avantages :

Great customer service and set-up help. Really made sure I understood the material and how best to use all the elements. Very responsive when I have questions/problems. Pretty streamlined to use and user friendly. It seems much more geared to winemakers and cellars than other database programs (I have used 4 others in the past). The mobile option is very user friendly and easy to use as well. Good help content for troubleshooting on your own as well. Fast to record actions and move between tabs/pages.

Inconvénients :

Missing a couple features that I enjoyed from older database programs, but they are adding more stuff every month.

Software is easy to use, but with a few bugs. Still lacking functionality and breadth of reporting

Avantages :

I like the aesthetics and the intuitive interface. The searchability and sorting features do make it easy to navigate. I also like the direct connectivity to ETS (I wish the connectivity to Enartis were established too)

Inconvénients :

- We are still getting many popup notifications "Something went wrong... try again" _ I wish the link between the vessel and the lot number was a lot tighter and more interchangeable (It would be easier to make work orders by entering either the lot number or the vessel, vs lot number first and then choose the vessel - Lot numbers use a lot more characters than tank numbers and it is often, not always easier to remember a tank number than a complicated lot acronym) - I wish Exports to Excel would be more comprehensive - I would love to be able to make corrections in the past without having to re-enter every subsequent operations.

Solid Product that does Wine Production well!

Commentaires : I use it from a business perspective as an Owner of the winery. I like the high level information I can get at a glance and the detailed information I can get when I really want to dig into the data.

Avantages :

I like the overall user interface and that it is very intuitive to use. They also take feedback and incorporate it as new features if it gets enough demand.

Inconvénients :

There are a few things that I think would make life easier on the Remove Tax Paid section but overall it's solid.

Best wine production software I've ever used

Commentaires : What can I say? I love everything about it. Implementation and training go quite smoothly and operation is a breeze. I don't myself use the vineyard module, but I hear good things. Overall, Innovint pays for itself many times over in eliminating frustration and minimizing wasted labor.

Avantages :

Written by winemakers, Innovint functionality is intuitively obvious to any winemaker with zero learning curve. Its cloud-based interface isn't subject to viruses and hacking and is accessible from any device anywhere. I love being able to drill down from my California office into the details of my mid-western winery clients' activities. The 3D tank maps are a big step up from the old dry erase board - I got my wall space back!

Inconvénients :

I wish there were a planning tool to try out racking scenarios in a separate "sandbox." I also wish there were customizable icons for the 3D map, as we have some pretty weird vessel configurations. Another concern is that when I recommend the software, I'm never quite sure what they're charging now. I got in when it was incredibly cheap, so I don't begrudge the price increases, but I hope they've stabilized now.

Winemaking Compliance Made Easy!

Commentaires : Very positive, it has helped us gain efficiencies and make inventory easier on everyone.

Avantages :

I enjoy the fact that this software is very intuitive and user friendly. Looking at all the data in realtime is a big help to run the day to day operations.

Inconvénients :

Some features could be smoother such as certain actions or additions will not be recorded as a volume change, therefore learning the intricacies of the program and knowing you must do a volume adjustment to get the compliance reporting correct.

Innovint in 6,000 case (100 Ton) Winery

Commentaires : Great experience. Very intuitive and easy to use. Can use across multiple platforms and devices.
Customer service is great and quick to respond during harvest.

Avantages :

Best feature is that a majority of the program is all inclusive. Pieces that you need are not left out of the base plan. Ability to send work orders via the app to cellar crew, eliminating paper work orders.

Inconvénients :

Would be great if it included all wine in bond, including bottled wine for reporting. This is changing though with some recent updates. App is a little behind on seeing detail on historical events on wine lots and history of analysis for vineyard blocks, but this is rapidly changing and frequently being updated.

Pourquoi passer à InnoVint : Seems more focused on wineries of the current size that we are at. Some other software options do offer much more which is beneficial for larger companies, but would largely go unused by myself. Pricing, which is always a factor for smaller wineries, is very competitive.

Avantages :

The easy transition from another product and the user friendly software that allows users to easily update or change previous submitted tasks. The customer support center is also very helpful and timely when it comes to assisting users.

Inconvénients :

Overall there is nothing negative to say about this product.

InnoVint is User Friendly

Avantages :

I really enjoy how user friendly and intuitive the production software is. Coming from a different software, we were very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get up and going with InnoVint. The last software we were using was great on the surface, but proved to be too cumbersome for the production team to use on a daily basis, usually getting more fed up with it than not, essentially rendering it useless. With InnoVint, even with minimal amount of training, the team has been able to get started and going using this software. A huge improvement to what we were previously doing.

Inconvénients :

So far, we haven't found anything we dislike about the software.

Very user friendly, excellent for operations planning, scheduling, work order writing.

Commentaires : Live online workflow, mobile device functionality.

Avantages :

Extraordinarily easy to use through an intuitive and obvious interface. Very helpful pumpover scheduler, crush schedule and work calendar.

Inconvénients :

Very poor reporting functionality, moderate data filtering functionality, some hang ups in work order entry flexibility.

Early to the product but already a massive step up from our last software.

Commentaires : I’m mostly a partial user with delegation to other staff but it’s already been refreshing from the last software used in our industry.

Avantages :

It understands winery and vineyard protocols and flows intuitively with use.

Inconvénients :

Some of protocols can be confusing at first. I.e. topping wine. We’ll use a keg of wine to top all whites or reds and can be monotonous to check each barrel the wine went into.

Innovint has thus far been user friendly.

Commentaires : That's kind of an amorphous question.
Innovint benefits the cellar and production dynamic in that it creates a cloud-based, user friendly way for all aspects of grapes to wine to be tracked, planned and executed.

Avantages :

I like how despite being on the cloud, the action on the interface is quite smooth. Comparing it to something like Google Sheets, it runs much more smoothly. Integrating the ETS analysis automatically to our records will prove useful. The robust detail in the vessel section from barrels is helpful. Being able to write notes and them compare notes on each barrel is also helpful.

Inconvénients :

Not all data can export into a csv file. For example, a 15 barrel lot of Pinot noir might have barrels making a single vineyard, barrels making a regional blend, and barrels getting declassified. The functionality of writing notes via Iphone is hugely convenient. However, the only way to access those notes is to click on each barrel individually. The notes are of the upmost importance and Innvint should be able to export those into a file. I was told the workaround for this was to create a tag, but it's not possible to create a tag with the Iphone (at least I have not found a means for doing that). The long and the short is that all the data at every level should be able to export to file. Using Excel in conjuction with Innovint for this finer data would make Innovint that much more robust.

Easy to navigate between wine actions, even for first time users. Lightning fast software, Love it!

Avantages :

Tractability of each lot, and each action attributed during the life of wine from grape to bottle. Also, each wine movement or addition is recorded on the calendar automatically, which has drastically reduced the user error compared to Excel tracking or manual entry software.

Inconvénients :

I would like to see advancement in usability of the Innovint App. We are sometimes in positions where we have no access to a computer, but would like to update or edit a work order, wine lot, chemical additive, or vessel and must run back to the office to make updates before we can continue.

Commentaires : Saves time in Production. Easy to use. Support get back to you quickly. I like that they check on your account to see where you are in setup.

This system is rightsized for our business and we have been very happy with the service overall.

Commentaires : I was able to put the whole operation in my pocket and readily accessible from any computer. This has drastically increased my productivity and overall quality of work.

Avantages :

QR Code functionality is great as is the overall layout of the software. I also like the ability to create barrel tags as in the past we've just been relying on duct tape and sharpie.

Inconvénients :

The mobile interface could use some updates like the ability to assign a batch for an additive to an existing work order if the creator doesn't do so for the employee. Additionally the 702 functionality seems to have some glitches when trying to generate gallons from sweetening.

Avantages :

I like the ease at which I can retrieve and review information, the ease of sorting, and with barrels I like that I can add as little or as much info as I want.

Inconvénients :

Writing wo after wo, although I'm sure I just need more training to learn how to use the system better. I need to attend a training workshop. More workshops might be helpful.

InnoVint has been a great addition to my winery, helps us keep track of our barrels.

Commentaires : In the past we've used plastic envelopes with cards hanging on escutcheons on the front of the barrels to identify what wines were in them, which often would blow off leaving us scratching our heads. Then I added numbers to each barrel, but sometimes they would wash off. Now we have the QR tags from Innovint, and I can scan them with my phone to tell exactly what is in the barrel and how long it's been there! We just reviewed all of our 2017's yesterday and realized we did not have racking entered for one batch and figured out that was because we skipped over it, which was a really crucial catch.

Avantages :

I like being able to see my quantities of different wines at a glance. I look forward to the ease of completing my year end reports.

Inconvénients :

Getting my staff to use it! It is not quite as intuitive as I wish it were. It takes some practice to recognize what tasks are called and how they are entered.

Easy to use and far more efficient than paper

Commentaires : It streamlines our records and helps keep us up to date with all cellar and winery activities

Avantages :

I like the integration with all aspects of the winery, such as tank management, additions, wine movements, etc, and thus with our record keeping

Inconvénients :

I would like more diversity in the ability to input our own formulas to calculate additions, such as SO2, as opposed to the built-in formulas of the program.

Basic winemaker use.

Avantages :

It's fairly stupid proof, and delivers the basics well for those who aren't necessarily tech savvy.

Inconvénients :

Clunky interface, data retrieval is weak. Servers get overloaded, and it doesn't have an autosave so you can lose work in progress if you get out of the internet mid work order.

Very good experience as we moved to the new system from different platforms.

Avantages :

clear, visual, user friendly, in depth and winemaking focus. control with work orders so we know what was done, when and by who. good support system to go through bugs in the system.

Inconvénients :

still in development. some inconsistency between user accounts. the software is still growing and adapting. options for integration with iPhone are good but lacking depth and customization. it will come but still in process

it makes everyone's life easier at the wineries, easy to scan breakdown vessels, track wines, and utilize historic data

I wish there were more features relating to vineyard activities i.e. maps, tracking petiole reports, etc.

I find it difficult to go back and undo certain things such as changing lot size and updating grower information.

Commentaires : Makes it very easy to file required reports to TTB, and to track and look up historical information on wine production.

Avantages :

Love the ability to enter work orders at my computer and have my staff receive notifications and provide updates on completion via the mobile app.

Inconvénients :

It can be tricky to write work orders that capture every single detail of a wine movement and adjustment - but that's more about figuring out how to write everything down in a formulaic way than it is about the software.
