Avantages :

The templates are easy to use and beautiful. It helps both my students and clients understand a concept and create visually appealing representations of what we are working on, from marketing to strategic planning.

Inconvénients :

As they have added templates, it has continued to provide me and my clients with value.

Commentaires : My experience has been great and I love that I could customise templates. I've also taught few people how to use it. However, there is room for improvement.

Avantages :

It's simple interface and ease of navigation

Inconvénients :

Sometimes after exporting, it changes the title of template to default name. Also, the pricing is not affordable for me considering the exchange rate where I am.

Promising platform, some bugs to work out

Commentaires : Overall, I’m glad I gave Xtensio a try. I mostly found it for their templates, and then decided to try making a client report in it. I wish I had know ahead of sinking a good amount of work into the document that clients couldn’t comment. It’s not as easy to use as a Canva but much more beautiful than a Slides or PowerPoint. And less finicky than InDesign.

Avantages :

Helpful templates and very easy to brand your materials with your own colors or your clients. I’ve gotten a lot of positive reviews and comments from clients on how the report I created for them looks

Inconvénients :

The interface can get pretty clunky, especially if you are making a longer document. It is annoying to move sections around the document. I also wish there was a review feature where clients could leave comments. It would also be helpful to download as slides or PowerPoint in addition to PNG and PDF.

If you want hours of FRUSTRATION then this is the software for you

Commentaires : Poor, Frustrating, Argumentative Staff, Lack of Strong Management as clearly they are only interested in grandfathering the service you sign up to so you will sign up to more expensive services, rather than caring about customer experience and quality of product.
My advice - take your money elsewhere.

I will say up front that the templates are good - BUT....be prepared for hours of frustration

Im on the paid service. However, if I want to use a colour I need to look up the hex code and then past it in. There is no font duplication button similar to that you would find on any Microsoft product, Mac Pages etc. The software is VERY jumpy when you need to move boxes around. Ive been on this software for a while - and in that time have seen ZERO IMPROVEMENTS. They are very good at trying to get you to upgrade though in order to get base level specs which you should be entitled to anyway - especially as I have a paid annual subscription. The staff tried to mislead me into a more expensive plan - then sent 10 emails arguing with me that she didn't mislead me (summary of correspondence below so make your own mind up) **I just went to cut and paste the correspondence into here and can see that she had deleted it to remove a track record of it**

At last! A great tool for business presentations

Commentaires : Great experience, I been using PPT and other presentation tools as beautiful.ai. Xtensio is the next step.

Avantages :

At last, an easy to use platform to elaborate business presentations. Great templates and a very flexible way to ad data , images, tables etc.

Inconvénients :

I would like to have a pre defined color palette (similar to canva) and an easier way to mix and match colors and fonts

Product Manager Review

Commentaires : As a Product Manager, I am to be the voice of the end user/consumer. I cannot do that without bringing the end user to life leveraging user personas. I believe user personas are a key component to human-centered product management/development/design. Without these, we'd be missing the mark every time.

Avantages :

I first found Xtensio during my MBA program when asked to create marketing personas. I loved it because I could use it for free with a trial. The user persona template was a perfect guide. I then went back to it in my product manager role when I needed to create end user personas. The free trial gets me in the door every time. But I wouldn't keep coming back to it if it didn't give me the templates I need and if they weren't easy to use. I can customize them with company branded colors too, which is a plus.

Inconvénients :

Honestly, I can't say there is anything I liked least about it other than my free trial expired.

Great tool for creating professional-looking documents

Useful for creating customer profiles

Commentaires : Gives a good basis if you need a starting point for your customer profiles. Easy to use. More questionable whether It’s worth an investment or not.

I’ve only really used the custom templates for customer profiles. I’ve found them simple to use and edit. Useful for customer profiles when doing marketing or service design.

Inconvénients :

I think it seems quite expensive given that with little effort, most of its features can probably be replicated in a more manual way.

Commentaires : I really like using Xtensio. I use it for a lot of things. It is very easy to use. I really like the templates that you can use and adapt to your preferences. I would really recommend using Xtensio!

I really like that it is so easy to use and that you have tons of templates to choose from that you can adjust to your preferences.

Inconvénients :

It is a little bit unclear when my free trial ended and I wanted to subscribe for the basic subscription.

Very nice templates

Avantages :

Very elaborate and well designed templates make my life easier for creating presentations and personas.

Inconvénients :

The options for Fonts can be a bit limiting. Also the free trial is too short.

Easy to use, fairly priced, gets the job done

Avantages :

We don't take advantage of many of the features offered, but it's nice that were not paying an exorbitant amount for a product where we'll only use 10% of its capabilities. Being able to create nice marketing/presentation docs is what I need and this gets the job done and is easy to use.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the formatting is tricky and copying and pasting from outside sources isn't always as clean and easy as I'd like, but that could be user error on my part too.

Investor One Pager with Xtensio

Commentaires : Overall, I loved Xtensio. It was great bang for your buck and we were able to produce a clean, professional, graphically pleasing one pager that we use at my startup when we do Investor reach out.

It allowed us to build a one pager for free!

There are certain things - not being able to move images to the correct spot on the page, some rigidity format wise, that are a little bit frustrating to work with.

Commentaires : My overall experience with Xtensio is positive! I have not used Xtensio for very long but thus far, it has gotten the job done and enabled me to seamlessly work through projects.

Avantages :

What I like most about Xtensio is how user-friendly it is. I am not the most "technical" individual but Xtensio provided an opportunity for me to effectively collaborate with my teams without much difficulty at all.

Inconvénients :

The only Con I could think of would be small bugs here and there while using Xtensio (nothing significant however..)

Xtensio a Potentially Great Tool for UX

Avantages :

Xtensio has beautiful UX Persona templates, which is what I mainly use their service for. However, I would use it more for other UX design tasks if they can add or improve some features I mentioned on the rating page.

Inconvénients :

There are key features missing, such as layout, size, and typography customization, that are standard features of other applications I use, like Miro, Lucidchart, Google Docs, Powerpoint, and even MS Word.
