A game-changer for all our procurement needs

Commentaires : The software had dramatically enhanced our company's experience with spending and procurement. It has helped us with managing our sales, purchase orders, inventories and tools through a clean interface. The procurement team has been able to work together on invoices and PO's more seamlessly owing its cloud compatibility and safe online storage. We are now able to create budgets for various tasks and use Spendwise to track our overall spending. Overall experience has indeed been wonderful, highly recommended for procurement teams in multiple sectors.

Avantages :

Spendwise is a comprehensive tool to assess our company expenditure. It offers a user-friendly interface , one that helps us save on time and eliminate excess administrative costs. We are able to manage our invoices, purchase orders, bills and expenses in a streamlined manner. A great feature of this software is that it is possible to assign roles to users, and provide access to certain transactions, thereby ensuring that the right person can examine authorized features only.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes when there is a software update, it becomes challenging to navigate through the new changes. With a lack of manuals or training, the updates can take time getting used to.

Commentaires : Before deciding to use Spendwise, I explored other procurement management systems/software. They were pricey and didn't seem as easy to use. Spendwise was very easy for my users to understand and I feel that I'm getting a good value for what we pay.

Avantages :

Before using Spendwise, my organization was generating purchase orders from spreadsheets. Spendwise was a no brainer. The interface is simple and easy to use. Navigating Spendwise is a breeze as its responsiveness is quick.

Inconvénients :

As an AS9100-certified organization, it's important for us to track supplier performance. One metric that we use is supplier on-time delivery. That feature is not currently available.

Commentaires : organization and communication was key when communicating with my co-workers on multiple projects. This helped us keep all of our orders in one location so that if one of us was not present that the others would know what had been ordered.

Avantages :

It allowed us to keep vendors saved for future use. We were able to reference different orders to the PO numbers. It allowed us to continue to reference old PO's to see what transaction happened that had taken place before our hire.

Inconvénients :

The search engine was very specific. If we were looking for drawstring bags and it was entered in as draw string bags the search field wouldn't find it. I wish that a bit more information about the order would appear in the list screen. We would place multiple orders in a day from the same vendor. If we were searching for a particular item but the search feature didn't pull it up we would have to search through the many PO's from that particular vendor click in and closing out each one until we find the right one. Where if there was a column that showed the notes or possibly 1 line item in the PO that would help find things quicker.

Now I Know

Commentaires : Wish we would have purchased this system earlier. This is our first budget cycle when we have full visibility into all of our costs plus we are now able to manage inventory and fulfilment in one system. We love it if you couldn't tell!! :)

Avantages :

This software has solved the age old issue of knowing what everyone is spending throughout the organization. We connect all the procurement pieces in one system from purchase requisition through final invoice payment and it's cut our time to process payment by over 50%!

Inconvénients :

None really. It connects to QuickBooks and the training to get everyone using the system was minimal.

Commentaires : This has benefited us by keeping track of PO's in one place rather at each person desk, their emails and using our memory.

Avantages :

It is very easy to enter purchase orders, attach invoices, receive items and navigate. Knowing what we have purchased has been extremely helpful so we do not order the same item again. Plus, having a document letting us know what is still owed from companies.

Inconvénients :

When entering a new PO, the Item ID has to be very precise to locate the item.

Commentaires : I use Spendwise specifically for the purchasing functionality. What works best of us is the cloud based application allows us to have our team in multiple remote locations yet get POs requested, approved, and sent to vendors quickly which helps us stay on schedule with every project we are managing. Our experience with Spendwise has been great and I can recommend it without hesitation.

Avantages :

Ease of use and the web based application. I was not responsible for selecting it but our team is all glad it works so well for our needs.

Inconvénients :

I do not have any dislikes although we do not use all parts of the software. The purchasing portion does every thing we need.

Spendwise helps you keep track of money in a fast-moving business.

Commentaires : It helps me keep a spending diary outlining almost every interaction I have with merchants.

Avantages :

The ease with which I can find a supplier for a rare commodity, see how much the market rate is for different things, or what we spent on it in the past.

Inconvénients :

The only gripes I have are byproducts of the process of manually entering information, and when I can't find something in Spendwise because I didn't describe it very well in the program.

It has changed the way our company handles purchasing

Avantages :

Simple interface and keeps track of everything. The line item memos are great for justifying purchases. New Items can be created on the fly.

Inconvénients :

A large amount of our ordering is random one off items from places like amazon or eBay, I would like better support for these types of purchases. It would be great if we could put in tracking numbers to know when orders will come in.

Thank you for your feedback! Agree we can improve on how our system works with other systems and will share your comments with the development team. For tracking numbers we recommend using the History & Notes feature where you can post a note with a link to tracking information. Hope this helps.

Spend Wisely!

Commentaires : We used PAPER before Spendwise. Literally filled out paper P.O.s. Deploying Spendwise was like trading our horse drawn carriage for a Modern Hybrid Car. It's just so capable.

Avantages :

Spendwise is easy to learn and use and allows you to manage all aspects of your purchasing. From Bid request to Purchase order to Bill and Closeouts, it's a full featured tools that just works.

Inconvénients :

There isn't very much I don't like about Spendwise.

Invoicing

Commentaires : When users create the invoices, the business office knows exactly how to handle the funds when they are received by referencing Spendwise. The customer service team has been very responsive to any question we ask.

Avantages :

We use Spendwise to create and track miscellaneous invoices. Before this software, we were tracking manually and it was very cumbersome. This allows us to have one place to refer to for invoice details, payment received and where we deposited the funds.

Inconvénients :

There are numerous levels in creating the structure for invoice lines. I had to back my way into figuring out how to do it. Maybe if there was a diagram that indicated what items were needed to be in place before invoices could be created.

Excellent, user-friendly software!

Commentaires : Officewise offers more functionality than I expected considering it's such an affordable price. The interface is simple and very user-intuitive. My entire office is able to input data and keep things organized and up to date. We use the purchase order feature the most. The product is consistent, so I have never had any error messages or glitches like I do so often with another, more expensive software we use in-house. My favorite thing about Officewise is the ability to cross categorize my searches. The only thing I'd like to see in the future, is being able to pull up data that has any part of what I enter in the search bar, rather than having to have exact searches. Thanks for offering such a great product!

Avantages :

The simple design and ability to use a variety of categories to search through data.

Inconvénients :

I preferred the lighter color scheme Officewise had before the most recent design update. I also need to be able to type in a partial purchase order number in the search section and have any purchase order with that info pull up in my search.

Great Experiences

Commentaires : We took a manual PO system that was having to hand signed and went with this and now its all electronic. Took from a 3 day time frame down to less than a couple of hours.

Avantages :

The point and click aspect of it along with the customizable features for our different plants. we have been able to use this over three plants with being able to customize for each.

Inconvénients :

cant run old web browsers with . Had some problem with working with older web browsers that some employees had .

OfficeWise is easy to work with and does the basics of what we need.

Avantages :

The software is easy to use, understand and to show others how to use. The ability to email POs with terms attached makes ordering very simple.

Inconvénients :

Some of the reporting is limited. It would be nice to generate a report that provides invoices by sales rep. Also, a report showing remaining open balance on a sales order. Some of the parameters in setting users up is limiting. I have a need for letting people view all sales orders but not be able to change them.

Thank you for your feedback Charles. We do have a report for sales orders by sales rep but currently not one for invoices by sales rep as you point out. I think that adding this report is certainly worth considering and will discuss internally to see what we can do. As for user access parameters we are planning to provide more options like what you describe within the next few months.

Seamless PO system!

Avantages :

I like how user friendly this software is, and the fact that it's all done online.

Inconvénients :

Some things are hard to find and do. This is just because I haven't had the time to sit and really look deeper into its functionality though.

Overall, Officewise is easy to use and a helps keep our purchase orders organized for 23 locations!

Avantages :

The software is very user-friendly. Easy keyword searches on past purchase orders. You can copy previous purchase orders and resubmit with minor changes, so it makes PO entry quick. You can give everyone in a department access to see past PO's of other

Inconvénients :

We have had trouble with the approval process. You can select multiple approvers in the PO, but rather than going to the next approver, our POs will go back to the original person submitting the PO each time an approver approves.

Cloud-based PO System that fits our needs.

Commentaires : Spendwise does exactly what I need it to do, without any bloat. I don't have to maintain an on-prem PO solution and the database backend stuff that comes with it.

Avantages :

Easy to make PDFsnd email them.Going back to edit or copy previous purchase orders.

Inconvénients :

Being able to pre-define a department list would be nice, but not a dealbreaker. If it's there it hasn't jumped out at me.

Commentaires : We've been very happy with Officewise! We use it every day to create Purchase Orders and cross reference items we've ordered for deliveries ect. Definitely very easy to use and extremely helpful!

Avantages :

The fact that we can search key words for previous POs that have been created.

Inconvénients :

Not much that I don't like! Once in a while it won't let me delete the top row on purchase orders when I add one too many lines, but that isn't really any issue.

Love Officewise

Avantages :

Website is very easy to use and self explanatory. You can easily save POs, convert to PDF, search for past POs. The latest update has also added quite a few new and great features.

Inconvénients :

The only Con or feature I wish could be added is a list of projects so that you can allocate which PO belongs to which project.

Thank you for your review. For project tracking we recommend using the "Tag" field on the purchase order. You can then run purchase order tag reports to see which PO belongs to which project. I will follow-up with you directly to show how this can be done.

Commentaires : Love the software. Version 2.0 is awesome. Just wish it have the ability to do quote versions & track cost inside of a quote without having to create an inventory item.

Avantages :

Easy to use, many many features

Inconvénients :

Can't revision quotes without losing old quote. Wish I could put costs in quote for my own tracking.

The email notifications are nice because it is an easy for me to know when an approval is needed from me.

Inconvénients :

I would like for the PO's to show the current spend on a project along with the current budget for a project so that I can make sure we are spending within our project budgets.

For budget management we recommend using "Groups" for tracking spending on projects which will allow you to run budget to actual reports for the project and set over budget alerts that warn you if you are going over budget. Commentaires : What a great website. It makes business easy and painfully easy to keep track of . Thank you. Enjoy the ability to send quotes and invoices through email and then being told when the email is opened and viewed.

Avantages :

ease of use, the ability to edit, keeps track of all history

Inconvénients :

the mobile website version is not easy to use, the screens are hard to view and the lettering and typing of new work are difficult to see and use.
