En savoir plus sur Proclaim by Logos
ProClaim offre aux lieux de culte une solution collaborative de création de présentations.
The fact that everything loads from the cloud is a game changer. Knowing that what I edit on one computer will show up on another computer is well worth the cost and hassel of switching to Proclaim.
The file limit size for videos is about the only thing I find wrong with the program.

Church and School Use

Excellent choice for church presentation software
Commentaires : Proclaim is a great package and highly recommended. It's getting better over time and works well for our church.
Avantages :
Proclaim is multi-platform and has a cloud-based component, such that it's easy to create service presentations at home and then use them at church. All that's required is that the Proclaim software is installed both places and logged into the same group. Overall, it's pretty easy to use and many things are obvious to find and use. It has enough customizability that it should be usable by both small and large churches alike. Service content is editable in a freeform editor, with changes instantly previewed on slides to the right. It's super easy to see how changes affect what will be displayed to the audience.
Inconvénients :
The biggest drawback is the song database and organization. You can't organize songs into different collections, nor can you see all of the songs in your database in one place in order to do organization, cleanup, etc. When you pull in a song to your service order, you are editing that song everywhere it might be used, so you have to be careful about changing verse orders, words, attribution, etc. Additionally, song titles must be globally unique within the church group. In other words, you can't have two songs named identically where one is a congregational version and the other is a choral version. You have to differentiate somehow via the name. Faithlife has indicated they are working on a major upgrade to the song organization features, so I am hoping that this gets much better in the near future. Editing backgrounds, adding images, and editing smartmedia is a little confusing at first, so it really takes some getting used to. This aspect of the product could be made better.
Valuable Church Leadership Software
Avantages :
Proclaim has helped us to integrate sermon slides with the worship slides that we use week to week. It has allowed us to include multiple users, who each play a part in planning our worship services.
Inconvénients :
There are a couple of places where the software seems a bit clunky and not very intuitive, but these are pretty rare, and overall, not much of an issue.
Force Updates during Live Use ... (VERY BAD THING TO DO)
Commentaires : Nice (except for the constant forced updates). When it goes bad -- very bad!
Avantages :
It easily takes all of the imports from the Logos Sermon Builder platform or from Microsoft Power Point.
Inconvénients :
The inability to control the timing of updates is a VERY BAD thing. Streaming integration - absolutely necessary for this day and age, is getting worse, not better. Very, very slow at responding to product changes from the user community at large.

Love this Product!
Commentaires : We absolutely love this product. We have been using this product for about 5 years now. We can use it in all aspects of ministry (adults, kids, youth) without buying more than one license. Also if you use logos, you can send your sermon slides over to proclaim.
Avantages :
This program is east to use for small churches. Most of the video items you can set to start on their own. Depending on what you use it for, you can use with just one operator.
Inconvénients :
Some of the slide images are boring. Not much backgrounds to choose from with the base package. You need to subscribe to the media packages to get better included slides.

Proclaim Native-Cloud Ease
Commentaires : I used Proclaim for several years but switched to another product during the COVID pandemic due to the other product's ability to stream a service easily. I came back to Proclaim for performance reasons, and I had to do some interesting things with OBS to create a stream that included live video and slide data from Proclaim. Since Faithlife has finally created an alternate slide screen where I can modify the slide data with live video in the background, I absolutely love Proclaim.
Avantages :
I love the fact that Proclaim is natively cloud-based and any edits I make to a service presentation are instantly replicated to any other device with Proclaim on it. I also love the responsiveness of the slides to slide changes. It doesn't matter if the background is an image or 50mb video loop, the slides change is instant. I have used other product that have a .5 sec - 2 sec delay and you wouldn't think that makes a difference but in song lyric changes or during a pastor's sermon it's an eternity.
Inconvénients :
The feature to stream directly to a RTMP feed from a Mac. This has been available on the Windows platform for a while, and I have been patiently waiting for this for several months now.
Great Cloud Based Projection Software
Commentaires : Proclaim is a robust solution to our weekly data projection needs. While not cheap to purchase, quality comes at a price and so Proclaim represents good value for money. I have never known Proclaim to crash during a presentation which has always been one of my fears.
Avantages :
Proclaim manages the data projection in our church. I love the way the software handles various types of media seamlessly. No third party software required. The ability to edit or insert service items on the fly without disturbing the live presentation in another great strength. We sometimes need a last minute person to run the software. Proclaim is so intuitive to use I can grab someone with basic computer skills and they can manage the service presentation.
Inconvénients :
There is nothing I really dislike about this software.

Faithlife Equip
Commentaires : The platform ID easy to use and makes putting together a service order a breeze. The slides are impressive and the announcements are easy to make and use.
Avantages :
The range of helpful tools and services is impressive. The different programs work together well
Inconvénients :
Needs more introductory videos that sell the benefits to members.

Struggled with Media
Avantages :
This is easy to use and great for collaboration, as multiple people can work on the same presentation.
Inconvénients :
This software just wasn't reliable with different media sources, and was just slower than the main competitor out there, so we ended up switching.
It is a relieve away from my official job. Best for volunteers.
Commentaires : Proclaim by Logos is what we need.It helps us in getting news songs which makes the congregants enjoy the sermon. It has been a nice experience with this incredible software.
Avantages :
Proclaim by Logos is an excellent software which supports and connects people through presentations. It is a cost effective software and very easy to use.It is very flexible and gives it's users control and sovereignty. It helps us alot to publish sermons automatically. For the worship leaders you can import songs from song Select Planning Center and more.
Inconvénients :
No cons for this amazing software .Has been of great help to me as a worship leader.
Proclaim for Church
Commentaires : Overall we love using Proclaim. The ability to have everything cloud based and to add all of our volunteers to our team without any extra cost is great! Our volunteers are able to create slides at home and they sync directly to our church computers without any problem. We love Proclaim!
Avantages :
We love using Proclaim at our church. We use it for all of our presentation needs. We use it for our sonf service, as well as our preaching times. The integrations with CCLI makes creating song slides easy while the integration with Logos Bible software makes exporting slides over extremely easy. It's also great that if our preacher uses Logos software, they can control the slides directly from their message document.
Inconvénients :
The editing of slides and content is a little hard to use and doesn't always work the way that you want it to. Their custom slide layouts have never really been of much use to us and their content library is not the best unless you want to pay for the partnerships that they have with other media producers.
Fantastic Presentation Software
Avantages :
We have really appreciated being able to use the Proclaim software for preparing visual elements to include in our times of worship. This is so much more than a lyric display software. The resources that Faithlife has already prepared and the tools that they give you to customize those images allows you to do all of your work from within the one piece of software if you are willing to learn to work within that framework.
Inconvénients :
Some things have been a bit difficult for people to figure out because it wasn't intuitive to how they thought. After watching the videos people have figured out how things work within the software and everyone has been able to make good use of it with minimal training. The training videos have been very helpful with that.

I am REALLY excited about this software, just WOW, however...
Commentaires : I got super excited about this software. It has made me realize the potential for easily increasing productivity, quality, and integration. However, as I mentioned in the cons, it is a bit of a letdown when several of the key features don't work quite as advertised. This being said, there is a lot in this software and if the Proclaim team will keep working to improve, I will be using the software for as long as I can imagine.
Avantages :
Makes adding songs, references, and sermon slides crazy efficient by integrating lyrics, clouds, backgrounds, calendars, collaboration, all under one intuitive software. Plus, it allows you to take presentations to the next level with a confidence monitor for the band, and interactive features such as questions that can be answered on your phone and more.
Inconvénients :
Many of the features I got really excited have in practice been a let down. For example, adding chords to the confidence monitor is a big deal! But, the 'key change' feature just doesn't seem to work. Another let down was the remote app. For one, you can't download it to windows devices (like surface) AND if you try to use it to write on verses the verses are blurred on the remote when using the 'real bible' feature.
Proclaim for Youth Ministry
Commentaires : On the whole, I have really enjoyed using Proclaim and it has brought a level of professionalism and ease to presenting information to the students in our Youth Ministry on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. This has been a fantastic tool!
Avantages :
I love how easy it is to integrate a slide presentation made on Apple Keynote into an overall Sunday morning presentation. I can produce my sermon slides and they can easily be added to the slides for the songs that we are also sining that morning.
Inconvénients :
It can seem a bit daunting at first; but honestly, this is easily overcome. Proclaim seems to be highly intuitive, actually.
Alternatives envisagées précédemment :
pricey but powerful
Commentaires : Team management has made this program extremely beneficial. Unlimited downloads allows each team member to download on their own device to add their content.
Avantages :
Proclaim integrates with other Faithlife applications like Logos, Sites, and Groups
Inconvénients :
I have had issues with importing powerpoint presentations, especially when on a Mac device.

Administration of Faithlife Proclaim
Commentaires : I love the software. It is easy for me to train others on the software. It is easy to make changes on the fly.
Avantages :
I like the ability to work from home and then synchronize with the final product at church. I like that the software is designed for Church. The ease of making slides saves time compared to making a competitor work. The seamless working with Logos software is helpful.
Inconvénients :
Recent upgrades have eliminated most of my concerns. It is confusing at times when 2 or more are using the program at one time.
Takes Your Worship Service to a New Level
Commentaires : The worship service should be done with excellence so that everything works together to support the central message, not to detract from it. Faithlife Proclaim provides the tools to do just that. It has allowed us to take our entire worship service to the next level. It's not a magic pill. It takes effort, but it makes it much easier and automates a good portion of the process which otherwise would be multiple steps.
Avantages :
Faithlife Proclaim centralizes everything you need for church presentation software into a single package. Not only does it gracefully provide features for the songs, announcements and preaching but also includes pre and post-service loops. So here are my favorite features... Presentation is saved to the cloud. Work on it from anywhere (work on it at home and retrieve it at the church). Multiple people can work on the same presentation (the song leader can work remotely on the songs while the pastor works on the sermon slides). Provides a large media library of both static images and motion graphics. This includes sets that you can pull in all at once which can help get you going quickly. There is also a powerful search and filter option to find what you need. In addition your information about your church (website, social media, etc...) is added to the slide dynamically where needed. There are several ways to automatically pull in scripture and it looks amazing. The slides can automatically sync up with an app so the congregation can follow along, view scripture in their favorite Bible version, and interact. Ability to record the slides and audio and easily publish at the end of the service. They recently added live streaming capabilities as well. Powerful integration with Logos Bible Software, Faithlife groups and your Website. It can work with Faithlife digital signage which can provide feeds in other places throughout the church and beyond.
Inconvénients :
I have been in Information Technology most of my life so it was fairly easy to setup. However, for the non-technical person they will most likely need to get some assistance when it comes to hooking up audio recording and setting up some of the other integration. This is probably true with most church presentation software packages with similar features.

Proclaim software for a small church
Commentaires : Proclaim has been very good for our church. Now that the need for a live stream has become essential, Proclaim plus OBS has made it relatively painless to have both the speaker and the slides on the screen at the same time.
Avantages :
I first started using Proclaim because I needed the ability to see my notes along with with slides but yet show just the slides on the screen. PowerPoint will do this but Proclaim has so many more features and the options are continually upgraded. I use Logos from Faithlife for my sermon creation exclusively. the sermon editor in Logos seamlessly transfers my notes and slides directly into Proclaim. Then I just have to tweak the slides as needed. Because it is cloud based, the worship and or song coordinator can put the song slides in separately as their part of the program. This is only the tip of the "iceberg" as far as the options that are available and continue to improve. A big or small church can use this program efficiently for their service. The pricing relative to membership is a big plus for our church.
Inconvénients :
The software has come along way since it's beginning. You will need a steady throughput of 3-5 mg or more from your ISP for it to work efficiently. Although, it is possible to present offline. A good share of the bugs that I was having have been worked through by the Faithlife staff. I really have no complaints at present.
Scott’s review
Commentaires : It’s been pleasant and easy to use. Love how it integrates with logos. Love how you can add so much to a presentation
Avantages :
Easy to use with logos Bible software. Love how I can import my presentation for logos into proclaim
Inconvénients :
Wish I could mirror screens with videos. Would love to do that so my whole presentation is on televisions in our sanctuary
Great program that is easy to use and perfect for beginners
Commentaires : Overall, Proclaim has been the easiest software to use in regards to presentation software like ProPresenter and MediaShout. It has great connectivity functionality and has been making strides towards being wireless and having excellent cloud integration!
Avantages :
I currently use Proclaim and it has been very helpful for my organization (religious institution) in planning our services. I use another, similar software as well and so it is interesting to see the similarities and differences with each. What I like MOST about Proclaim is its MOBILITY... I can literally download the software onto my laptop and work on it anywhere I go. If I have a last-minute adjustment to make, I just open my computer, make the change, and it shows up on all other devices logged into my Proclaim account, including the main computer at my organization. That is definitely my favorite part of the software!
Inconvénients :
I don't really have anything negative to say about Proclaim, but if there was one thing to pick on, it would be the lack of media options. I expected the software to come pre-loaded with default media like still/moving backgrounds, wallpapers, audio files, etc, but there hasn't been much selection. HOWEVER, there is available media for purchase... which has ended up working out when needed in a pinch.
Superb product and product support
Commentaires : Our young people who run our church’s soundboard learned the process quickly. As pastor, I’m upfront so don’t really do the live-streaming part. We have three different groups/people who lead worship, and they can insert song or announcements into a service from home.
Avantages :
We implemented the use of Proclaim on a moment’s notice due to churches being shut down in Washington state due to COVID. We needed to purchase a couple pieces of equipment to live-stream, and once we had everything the techies at Proclaim support walked us through the process. They were patient and helpful. Prior to live-streaming we used Proclaim within the church and the learning curve was easy due to the tutorials online. We like the simplicity and ease of putting the service together.
Inconvénients :
There was a bit of a learning curve as to where OBS ended and Proclaim started, but that was overcome quickly.
A Good Way to Boost Your Church's Signage and Presentations
Commentaires : My church uses Proclaim as a way to control our signage and to create simple presentations for Sunday services. Proclaim isn't perfect, but it works well for our needs and much better than what we had before.
Avantages :
Proclaim's user interface is very good. It's easy to create slides, edit slides, and to reorder slides. Also, Proclaim has good options to add things on the fly. For instance, we can put a Bible verse on the screen that we had no idea our pastor would discuss within seconds.
Inconvénients :
Proclaim provides many slide themes that we can choose. However, not every theme will have all the type of slides that we need. For instance, some themes lack announcement slides while others will lack hymnal slides.
Decent presentation software platform
Commentaires : Proclaim is a cloud based SAAS for churches looking to present songs, slides, videos, and more. Part of the FaithLife family of products, Proclaim offers integrations with a number of the other FaithLife products for advanced features. Proclaim will push Bible verse or screen cues to congregants using the FaithLife Logos Bible app. We have found this feature to be clever, but not terribly useful, as most people use the LifeChurch Bible app at our location. There are a number of quirks in the Proclaim software... it will overwrite songs if you press enter to early when loading a song. Cloud based is great, but the presentation will sometimes lag if the connection to their servers are not strong. Presentation options are limited. Basically, if you are looking to use it outside of their *exact* intention, your user experience may suffer. However, if you are comfortable in the box that they provide, you will be rewarded with some great presentation software.
Avantages :
Simple, easy to use presentation software. Interface is great for volunteers to help use.
Inconvénients :
Connections to the presentation can be slow, causing slide transitions to happen with a significant lag. Limited display options. Inability to insert new slides within a song. Bugs and quirks abound.
Fantastic Software, Fantastic Support!
Commentaires : Our worship database is now in Proclaim and thus always available from home or at the church. Again, the support particularly at the beginning was exceptional. Super patient - got it done for us!
Avantages :
Our congregation made a move to Proclaim a few years ago and we have been very satisfied, both with the functionality and support. Being able to project and also record is really important as is being able to control the screen from a tablet or phone.
Inconvénients :
The initial set up was a bit tough just because we were learning new software.
Great software
Commentaires : Overall, Faithlife Proclaim is a great soft that provides us a professional look to our church members.
Avantages :
What I like most about Faithlife Proclaim is that its interface is user friendly. It allows us to provide our congregation a professional look to our worship service. It also gives you tutorials on How to.
Inconvénients :
What I don't like about the software is that it automatically saves your recent moves which makes it harder to go back and retrieve your initial project before you made changes. The software could improve by giving us the option to save our projects or not.
