Fantastic tool for designing good looking and effective forms

5,0 il y a 2 mois Nouveau

Commentaires : Typeform's a very handy tool for setting up complex forms for data entry. We mainly use it to capture field data, but since we started using it, we've seen so many areas where it could make our processes better/easier. I think it's a very handy tool to have regardless of industry or size of your business

Avantages :

The mobile usability is it's best aspect by far. We mainly use it to capture data on the field and being able to use it smoothly on mobile is a huge relief. I also really like how extensive the template library is. We haven't had to design a form from scratch so far

Inconvénients :

It has very limited PDF editing features. It would be good to have basic e-sign elements as well for PDF forms

Alternatives envisagées précédemment : Formstack Forms et Formsite

Pourquoi choisir Typeform : Google Forms didn't go past very basic forms, mainly for one-off use. We needed more advanced form fields, so we decided to make the switch.

Pourquoi passer à Typeform : The price was a big consideration for us and Typeform has the best pricing options for the submissions we receive

Disappointed; significant number of results lost

1,0 il y a 9 ans

Commentaires : Typeform don't make it obvious, but they do NOT store partial or incomplete results. In my survey over 120 people started the survey, only 55 completed it. Partial responses would still have been hugely valuable to me, but they're not available with Typeform. They ARE available with SurveyMonkey. I wrote to TypeForm with feedback. Their response "About the issue with not-saved responses, it's the kind of confusion we try to avoid, asking users to test carefully their typeforms before using them..... we are not looking to implement this feature in the near future" So a warning to people: If any response (partial or full) is valuable to you in a survey, please be aware that TypeForm doesn't store the results until the final page where the person clicks "Submit".

Avantages :

Beautiful looking surveys, easy to setup, fantastic analysis tools.

Inconvénients :

Doesn't save partial responses. Some concern, as 3 seperate people reported not being able to submit at the end.

Réponse de l'équipe de Typeform

il y a 9 ans

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. There is an issue around the legality (and morality) about storing answers a respondent gives before submitting. In paginated surveys such as those built with SM, the respondent needs to click on a "Next" button to go to the next page of questions. And in case the survey only has one page and the respondent does not click "Done", SM does not save the answers either. To improve your completion rate, apart from applying a design or making colors and images fit your brand's, make sure to use picture choice and multiple choice whenever possible. Also use Long Text fields only when absolutely necessary and try to keep your survey as short as possible. The average completion rate our users are getting is 55% (which is considered high in the online survey industry) and we've seen some typeforms which follow these guidelines get completion rates as high as 80%. It's unfortunate you only realized we don't save non-submitted answers after publishing your survey, and I'm truly sorry about that. If there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate getting back to me. Pedro

Modern style and customisable questions, but not very brand customisable

5,0 il y a 3 mois

Commentaires : Overall, I love Typeform - especially it's main style and the templates. It does so much that's so useful, and it's definitely mainly a good experience. If I had to choose all over again which product I use, I would choose Typeform again for sure.

Avantages :

The default (and only) style is modern and looks great, and there are a huge range of options for the question and response types. There are a huge amount of great templates, which make it very quick to create a still detailed form.

Inconvénients :

There's a lack of brand customisation, so you can't match the form to your brand's style. This makes it look less native if you embed it into your application or website. Also, while the stats are mostly alright, they lack a feature that Jotform has that I love - turning all your statistics into a presentation automatically.

An essential tool for our business

5,0 il y a 2 mois Nouveau

Commentaires : I don't know of another product that is as easy to use, gorgeously styled, and consistent as Typeform. We've created well over 50 forms, polls, and surveys over the years and use the forms + gathered information daily. We love Typeform!

Avantages :

Typeform is so incredibly easy to use for creating forms, surveys, polls, and more. We use it for all the submissions and information gathering in all areas of our business.

Inconvénients :

It's such a silly thing, but the home page/first page of the forms have a wonky image/graphic placement. Makes for adding logos or background graphics a bit tedious. Would really love a drag & drop option for that opening page.

Our surveys and outreach have become much more engaging ever since we started using Typeform

5,0 il y a 4 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : Our company has used survey platforms before in the past, but Typeform has been by far the easiest for both us and our clients to use. We've gotten such better feedback and engagement, and it's all due to the simple change of having made the switchover. I highly recommend Typeform.

Avantages :

I really like how user-friendly Typeform is. I think it's a brand that many people are aware of at this point, and when people open up forms or surveys with "Typeform" in the title/email/outreach doc, they understand that they're about to use a very simple and straightforward platform. I think that's the number 1 think above all that I like about it - both our company and our customers know what they'll be getting.

Inconvénients :

I feel it could be a little bit more sophisticated in how it can be customized, but again, it's possible I haven't delved into all of it's unique features yet.

Commentaires : Overall, I enjoy Typeform a lot. It's one of my favorite survey's platforms. It is very simple, yet very powerful and easy to use.I would recommend to anyone who needs to create a form.

Avantages :

What I like the most about Typeform, as a user, is the navigability between the questions on the survey. The layout is simple, yet very intuitive and good-looking and is customizable, which is a plus.

Inconvénients :

It's hard to point something I like the least about Typeform, but I would say that the form submission page could be improved, making the submission more recognizable by the user.

Typeform has one of the most natural UI to design human centered forms and survey.

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I have an extensive experience with software from the times of start-up to today. I would like to mention a specific case where we used software for an academic extensive survey. During the days of the Pandemic, Typeform supported the community extensively by providing pro accounts to the researchers specific to COVID-19. With the help of Typeform we have collected 11k of feedback from academics about their perceptions on how COVID changed their teaching in higher education. Thanks to the Typeform we collected a massive data that is used extensively for academic articles in Turkey.

Avantages :

As the title suggests, Typeform is for people who would like to ask opinions with style, rather than outdated web alternatives with boring designs. In social research, the first step to impress someone is to show them that the form or survey is specifically tailored to the user experience. With Typeform you can create this feeling from the introduction to the end of the survey. UI is very friendly and compatible with almost any device capable of web browsing. It is one of the true-responsive web applications out there. Not just user experience, but designing forms is also a breeze which provides new learners easy to control. Also for experienced form designing, logic system provides all the essential tools that one can possibly need.

Inconvénients :

Apart from the all responsive nature of user interface. Designing and editing form is currently for desktop browsers. Ablility to transform surveys into exams or quizez with audit support may extend the functionality further.

Alternatives envisagées précédemment : SurveyMonkey

Pourquoi choisir Typeform : Because UI feels a bit outdated and design distract users attention esp, in responsive mode.

Logiciel antérieur : Google Forms

Pourquoi passer à Typeform : User interface is the absolute answer.

Form builder? How about "Minimally Viable Product" builder!

5,0 il y a 4 ans

Commentaires : Typeform is an incredible tool for testing out ways to disguise data capture / lead gathering as something that is providing actual value to the user. It's not a request for advertising proposals, it is a "campaign builder". It is not an online order form, it is a "savings calculator." Essentially, you can leverage the slick UX to make the users think their inputs are causing something to "happen" behind the scenes. This capability is further supported by Typform's intuitive UI for building logic and calculations into the form. Typeform lets you increase inbound leads and try out ideas for larger (custom dev) web projects with minimal time commitment at a very attractive price point.

Avantages :

Typform's fancy/expensive looking UX is its absolute selling point. It isn't the most flexible form builder in the world, but it does what it does well and it looks great doing it. The developers clearly recognized the massive amount of custom webapp development that was going into making – essentially – slick, expensive-looking multi-step forms and decided they should just make a webapp for making slick, expensive-looking multi-step forms.

Inconvénients :

It is definitely not the most robust solution in terms of functionality. It only has a couple options for how your forms will look, it only has a few integrations for what your forms can do... and that is largely by design. This isn't the Gravity Forms wordpress plugin. This is a specialized tool for leveraging slick UX to make crude data capture masquerade as something more sophisticated.

Beautiful, online forms in a highly user-friendly format

5,0 il y a 4 ans

Commentaires : Typeform has allowed me to present beautiful surveys to my clients so they can share their thoughts, opinions and needs. It's pleasant to use, both for me and for my clients, and it's fun and fresh in the design and style. I have also been able to get further insight into the data collected thanks to the Typeform analytics dashboard. It's great to have a tool I can use when I need to rapidly create and publish a survey and engage my customers in completing it! I can rely on its well-thought out features and analytics tools.

Avantages :

I love how the forms work for the user: they're original, nice looking and highly functional. When someone fills out your questionnaire, they see each question individually. Once they answer it, they hit "enter" and they see the next question. The forms are very nice looking, with a good color scheme and font--it's definitely eye-catching and helps the user to focus on the question on the screen. Typeform looks professional and is an excellent way to gather information from your clients or anyone else you need to survey. It's also easy to create the survey itself and equally intuitive with its drag and drop style. The one-question-at-a-time format also helps to increase the number of completed forms, as it's not overwhelming, like a page of questions might be.

Inconvénients :

The price is reasonable but definitely adds another cost to your business for a single service that could be replaced by a free product. It is, however, worth the price if you regularly use surveys in your business. For those who'd like to add a logo or other additional business-specific designs, Google Forms would be a better bet as Typeform's branding possibilities are minimal. For my business I think Typeform is ideal, presentation-wise, but I have thought about how it might look less professional depending on whom I'm surveying (for example, very formal or traditional clients).

Alternatives envisagées précédemment : SurveyMonkey Audience

Pourquoi passer à Typeform : The look of Survey Monkey is not as modern and timeless. It's also a little clunkier to use and re-organize surveys. Overall, Typeform is much more functional for entrepreneurs, particularly thanks to its powerhouse analytics tools. In that regard, Survey Monkey cannot compete, and this was the main reason I chose Typeform over Survey Monkey.

Great design and UX

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I like creating and sending forms, and feel good about my recipients' experience with Typeform.

Avantages :

I love Typeform's stripped-down UX and the simplicity of use, both for creating a form and capturing responses. It's different from other in that it forces the respondent to consider one question at a time, so for long, complex forms it might be the wrong choice. But I like the forced simplicity.

Inconvénients :

It's a little pricey. You're paying for a the UX not necessarily features, which are substantially fewer than competitors.

Alternatives envisagées précédemment : Google Forms

Pourquoi choisir Typeform : Survey Monkey was too expensive and the feature set/price ratio was off. You don't get much for the money, and the best/most needed features are behind the paywall.

Logiciel antérieur : SurveyMonkey

Pourquoi passer à Typeform : Google Forms is far too simple for some forms, also looks cheap. I don't like sending Google Forms in professional settings since everyone knows it's a free product.

A user-friendly form management platform

4,0 il y a 8 mois

Commentaires : So, we do not have to go to design our own form now. Typeform saves us a lot of headache designing forms which we use quite often.

Avantages :

Typeform is user-friendly and being survey builder, it is really helping us to collect feedback as well as doing lead generations for us. The strength of Typeform lies in the ease of usage with its drag and drop interface. We particularly like the integrations it has with the CRM tools we are using such as Vbout and Sendinblue. Furthermore, the user experience is good and better than other form builders, especially the free ones.

Inconvénients :

There is not much to complain except when we use the free tier there are various limitations. However, we are happy to upgrade to a paid version which gives us a lot more flexibility.

Data collection & management made simpler by Typeform's integration with a number of other apps.

5,0 il y a 6 mois

Commentaires : To monitor performance and make adjustments, Typeform offers comprehensive data on form submissions. This information can be used to determine how many people filled out the form, how they responded to the questions, and how long it took them to finish.

Avantages :

Even those without prior technological knowledge can utilize Typeform with ease. The built-in templates can be utilized to jump right into creating and customizing forms thanks to the drag-and-drop interface.Typeforms can increase response rates because they are visually appealing and engaging. Forms can be made more engaging and interactive by using graphics, videos, and animations. The development of new products, marketing initiatives, and customer service can all be enhanced using this data.

Inconvénients :

It costs money to use Typeform. The premium plan costs $99 per month and the basic plan starts at $15.Few customization options are available with Typeform. Businesses who need to design forms that adhere to strict branding guidelines may run into trouble because of this.

It's a fantastic piece of software that is super sleek, powerful, and integrates with all of the main platforms. It's heavily embedded into our marketing and customer service efforts, and we rely on it on a daily basis.

Avantages :

I love how easy this product is to use, and how well it integrates with so many different platforms.

Inconvénients :

Create quick, accurate surveys with the best platforms

5,0 l’année dernière

Commentaires : Now I can easily develop the survey forms I need, as well as get the results ready to start the study because Typeform enables us to complete all the operations successfully.

Avantages :

One of the best tools for creating surveys that I've ever come across. As a user of Typeform, you don't have to be an expert in survey design; all you have to do is fill in the survey questions in the form Typeform provides, and in a matter of minutes you'll be able to send the survey to your target audience. For those who dislike clunky, dated user interfaces, Typeform is the perfect solution. It makes creating and submitting forms as well as interacting with them a breeze. It's one of the most straightforward web applications, and there's no learning curve. Once Typeform has received questionnaires from its users, it will generate reports with graphs and tables that display the results. Typeform makes it simple to export collected data for use in various statistical programs, which is another perk I appreciate.

Inconvénients :

Forms + beautiful design = Typeform

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Avantages :

The first thing that stands out for me when it comes to Typeform is how intuitive and easy-to-follow its form-creation process is. Simply select a field and add it to the form layout. It is a simple as that, really! And yes, you can customize pretty much anything you would like by simply clicking on it. The various templates come in handy to speed up the process and the integrations selection is perfect for enhancing what Typeform does and for using it in combination with other digital tools. The ability to use video is the icing on the cake because it enables you to add a human touch to your forms and invite those filling out the form to take a specific action (e.g. book an appointment, connect with you on a particular social media channel, etc.).

Inconvénients :

For some reasons, sometimes, I have not received an email notification when someone filled out a Typeform form even though I did set that up... Remember one thing: if you are looking for a free solution to build and leverage online forms Typeform won't probably be it as its free plan is limited to... drum roll... 10 responses per month!
