Great Tool for organizations of any size

Commentaires : Our experience with QuestionPro has been extremely positive. Surveys and community information are critical parts of our organizational mission. QuestionPro has allowed us to gather important data to analyze programs as well as serving as a robust program engagement platform.

Avantages :

This is a great tool that offers a wide variety of tactics and flexibility to structure your surveys so that it can be used throughout your organization---across every department. Additionally, the analytics are extremely helpful.

Inconvénients :

We don't have the time to learn all the features!

QuestionPro is holding our survey data hostage!

Avantages :

It was fairly easy to set up a survey.

Inconvénients :

We signed up for a free account and they mentioned on the pricing page that there was a limit of 1,000 submissions per survey on the free version. What they failed to clearly state, though is that once you go over 1,000 submissions on a survey, you GET COMPLETELY LOCKED OUT OF THE SURVEY!!! We got a TON of SPAM submissions even with the provided Captcha field added, which quickly pushed us over the 1,000 submission limit. But, instead of shutting the survey down, they continue to accept submissions and instead REVOKE ACCESS TO THE SURVEY FOR TEH CREATOR. Now I can no longer view, edit or even close the survey without PAYING FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION because they don't offer a monthly plan. So, essentially, if you are on a free account and go over 1,000 submissions, QUESTIONPRO WILL HOLD YOUR SURVEY DATA HOSTAGE UNTIL YOU PAY FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION because they don't offer monthly subscriptions. The reasoning I was given was that "they didn't want a bad experience for the survey takers" which is why they leave the survey open. What about the end-user experience for the companies setting up the surveys though? Personally, I'd rather my survey get shut down at 1,000 submissions and still be able to access the data then to have them keep collecting responses that I can't even access. Their customer service was also very slow to reply and the account manager was 15 mins late to our first meeting with no heads up, so I ended up waiting and having to reschedule.

Couldn't be happier with QuestionPro

Commentaires : Extremely positive. Customer service is brilliant and very responsive, and the platform itself is reliable, attractive, and extensive in terms of functionality.

Avantages :

We feel extremely lucky to have access to QuestionPro on a non-profit waiver, which means we have amazing functionality for no cost. For a charity, this means so much to us. It enables us to quickly and easily seek the opinions and input of a wide range of audiences - including our beneficiaries and stakeholders - customising our surveys to ensure they are relevant. We also find the analytics functionality very helpful.

Inconvénients :

The only thing we would have loved to see is the ability to compare two data sets side by side, but appreciate that's not really the point of the platform.

Avantages :

Intuitive and user-friendly, especially if your organization is composed of non-technical employees. We especially love that we can customize our surveys and generate reports. QuestionPro has great customer service -- their team has always been immediately responsive, we feel very supported.

Inconvénients :

No cons to report as we have been deeply satisfied with QuestionPro.

Commentaires : Simply put, QuestionPro is easy to use and feature-rich. We've experienced no issues with the software for the 3+ years we've been using it.

Avantages :

QuestionPro is easy to use yet powerful and feature-rich. The non-profit license is a huge plus for us but was not a driver in making the decision to switch to QuestionPro

Inconvénients :

It would be helpful to allow more than 1 user with the non-profit license but that is not a major drawback given the quality of the software.

Great for gathering information for Grant Reports

Avantages :

I like that it is very user friendly. It is easy to learn and easy to follow. I like that I can customize the questions and types of responses. It is easy to set up even for a non-tech person like me! It is also great for gathering information for grant applications and reporting.

Inconvénients :

There are so many options to choose from, it can be a bit daunting.

Great, reliable and useful tool!

Commentaires : We have been using QuestionPro for almost 15 years, and in that time we have conducted several surveys that were shared with not only NGOs but Multilateral Organizations in different countries and languages. QuestionPro is a great tool for gathering different stakeholders' opinions when conducting an external evaluation of Assistance interventions. Very useful for evaluating performance.

Avantages :

QuestionPro is easy to use and very intuitive, we have an NGO account, and the features available for survey drafting and analysis work great, do not hesitate to request support whenever needed, because customer service is one of the best we've ever encountered.

Inconvénients :

Our NGO account requires a yearly renewal, this could be a bit cumbersome.

QuestionPro - Great setup and leads to seamless survey design and reporting

Commentaires : I really appreciate Question Pro. It meets the needs of our small organization and make reporting survey data simple. I can tell that for an organization with more complex online survey needs would find QuestionPro a great product as well.

Avantages :

-Real-time data on survey participation (how long it took someone to fill out the survey, location, how many views vs. completed) -Question Pro's templates make survey creation simple -Question Pro's Mobile feature allow to take survey response even offline. -Question Pro's analysis tools

Inconvénients :

-While it is easy to use, there is a little bit of a learning curve with all of the analysis features, especially for someone who does not have as much experience in survey design and analysis.

Commentaires : It is very useful we are a carnival organisation and a registered charity with no paid staff, so all volunteers.
I am the main user of the program and find it very helpful in collating information.

Avantages :

They help us in getting and processing entries for our carnival and an annual survey from our visitors.

Inconvénients :

We don't use some of the more technical program so hard to say but what we do use is very useful.

Excellent survey platform for non-profits

Commentaires : The reporting features alone have made it all worth it.

Avantages :

The folks at QuestionPro seem to value non-profits. We chose to use QuestionPro because of the amount of features we could get through their non-profit pricing. Because of QuestionPro, we've been able to collect valuable information about our programs. The analytics and reports have been very helpful for our quarterly and annual grant reports. I can quickly (5 minutes or less) pull any results and get the numbers and charts, these can then be added right into our reports.

Inconvénients :

Moving questions around and the question logic are a little clunky. It's too easy to make question logic mistakes, which affects the questions shown on our surveys.

Commentaires : This product is perfect for what we need. And as a non-profit the price is free. I could not ask for more.

Avantages :

The easy of creating surveys saves me time and stress.

Inconvénients :

The editor could have more options. Sometimes when I use the visual editor I have issues with it resizing the images to the original size instead of what I set it at in the html tag.

Excellent product, robust functionality, easy to use

Avantages :

My non-profit uses QuestionPro for all of its survey as well as a request for proposal process each year. We have found its features in terms of question types, branching, skip logic, reporting, etc. very robust and also easy to use. They offer a wealth of question types the really open up the possibilities in terms of survey question types and also application options (i.e., submitting files). Would highly recommend.

Inconvénients :

QuestionPro could improve upon its dashboard options for reporting results internally. It would be nice, for example, to more easily be able to slice the data by demographic question responses (it's possible but not user friendly enough for not technical team members to use).

Great Tool for Non-Profits

Commentaires : Great! QuestionPro is one of the most affordable survey softwares out there. It makes it no only easy to create surveys - but it is also easy to analyze the data!

Avantages :

QuestionPro is incredibly intuitive and easy to use and implement. I was able to figure out to use the software without any guidance.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the more complicated features, like skip logic, requires a little bit of reading of the resources provided by QuestionPro.

Been a Very Satisfied Customer for over 5 Years!

Commentaires : We used another Survey company for a decade before our needs outgrew it. I wish I could tell you we evaluated several different companies before selecting Question Pro, but we did not. As soon as we came across Question Pro and tested it out, we knew it was right for us. We don't use Question Pro to gather external information from Customers. We use it to capture internal information from our Managers and Employees and get that information to the appropriate people at the appropriate time. Some examples of how we have leverage Question Pro: (1) to gather employee satisfaction data; (2) to gather HR information from employees who request Leave or want to communicate concerns; (3) to provide trainees the opportunity to give feedback on their onboarding & training experiences; and (4) to communicate payroll adjustments directly to the payroll team. The Customer Service Reps we have worked with have been excellent and able to help us when needed. The Live Chat function has also been valuable when we needed a quick answer.

Avantages :

1. The Customer Service has been outstanding - whether directly with my rep or through the Live Chat. 2. The ease at which Survey's can be created / copied. 3. The system is user-friendly enough that we have been able to figure out how to perform many advanced functions on our own. 4. The flexibility of being able to send the survey in many different ways - i.e. via a link, to a specific email list or using a QR Code. 5. Advanced Logic and Branching allows us to link surveys based on answers and ensure the completed information gets into the hands of the right people at the right times. 6. The ability to schedule auto-run reports.

Inconvénients :

1. Having to pay full price for each user account is a bit prohibitive and would ultimately be the only reason we would ever consider a new system. However, we were able to lock in a rate for 2 years the last time we renewed by signing up for 2 years. 2. The lack of flexibility in formatting the Excel Reports - too many columns show on the reports by default and we can't remove those columns we don't need.

A practical tool that gives us time for the important tasks

Commentaires : As already mentioned, we use Question Pro exclusively for questioning our counselors after counseling sessions. In particular, the tool has saved us a huge amount of time. At the same time, the quality and quantity of feedback has increased. We wouldn't trade Question Pro for any other product.

Avantages :

Question Pro is a simple tool for our association to constantly check our work. We offer consulting for the topics education and profession: The opinion of our advice seekers is particularly important to us in order to keep our offer always up to date and at a high quality level. In the past, the survey was conducted with paper and took a lot of time. Question Pro allows us to use our time for the people who need our support. We are very grateful that non-profit organizations are supported by Question Pro. I would especially like to emphasize the ease of use. The program is almost self-explanatory and offers a wide range of possibilities to address the most diverse groups. The flexibility should also be emphasized: The questionnaires can be filled out on a PC, smartphone or any other device. We were able to increase our response rate many times over as a result.

Inconvénients :

We are very grateful for the opportunity to use the program as a non-profit association. At the same time, a permanent subscription is not possible, which is why we have to pass an individual test procedure every year again in order to continue using the program (This only applies to us as a non-profit association!)For the performance that the program offers us, we are happy to make this very manageable effort. I cannot name any further cons here.

QuestionPro - a quality online survey software program

Commentaires : The software has been very well designed and is continually updated. It allows you to create attractive, easy-to-complete online surveys, that can be undertaken easily on PCs, laptops, tablets or smart phones.
It automatically detects the device type and reformats the look and question style to fit the screen used. That means that matrix questions that can be easily answered on PCs can still be asked and answered by people using smart phones. The matrix converts into drop down lists, so no scrolling across the screen. A clever, useful feature.
The reporting is excellent - as is, or the results can be exported t Excel, .sav files for Q or SPSS, and even Power Point.
The capacity to upload video or images is very useful and reasonably easy for a respondent to use.
The capacity to use QuestionPro to send invitations, monitor responses and manage the unsubscribes etc. is excellent.
The support staff, from the most senior to the more recent, are excellent, courteous and available 24x5. They are most helpful in in real time text exchanges and emails. They are patient and are concerned to see you get the solution you need.
Not everything is sunny. A back button, when scripting is used, as it often is, would be useful. Similarly, the automatically generated Excel reports give all the data (which is very useful) and also tables that are percentaged to the number who answer each question, rather than the total respondent sample (which I prefer). These tables are static, so you can't remove a record and have them change.
What I do like is the continual improvements that are being made, some minor and some more significant, and the willingness of all the staff I have engaged with, to be as helpful as possible.
Refinements E.G. mapping where respondents are and what devices they used to complete the survey with, and the operating system used, are very useful additional details that help clients.
Plus, the capacity to import data on the email list, when a list is used to invite response, is very powerful, because when information about an individual respondent is known, there is no need to collect it again, keeping the surveys shorter and yet enabling us to marry pre-known and survey-obtained information and so answer the client's needs more effectively.
Overall, an excellent and well-supported package and system and one I recommend.

A great, user-friendly tool, with an affordable non-profit discount!

Commentaires : We work with and for people who have intellectual/developmental disabilities. The tool has many wonderful features that we've been able to take advantage of to make the resources we create with it more use-friendly, especially for those who don't read, or don't read fluently. We create video voice overs of our surveys, which we host on on YouTube channel. The ability to add those to the items we create is a game-changer for us!

Avantages :

The price is definitely a plus. We first heard about QuestionPro through the non-profit resource TechSoup.org. We'd been using a different survey tool at the time, which was more expensive and didn't have nearly as many features.

Inconvénients :

We haven't used any of the additional features due to pricing. Allowing a 2nd staff members to access our organization's account would also be cost-prohibitive, but as a small organization, I am really the only full-time user, so we deal with it.

QuestionPro

Commentaires : QuestionPro is a very good piece of software. It's flexibility allowed us to meet multiple needs within the same platform, such as deploying timed tests with one-time access keys, as well as standard survey requirements.

Avantages :

Feature rich, we are able to use QuestionPro to solve multiple problems within the same platform, including the obvious surveys, as well as branching surveys, adding interactive form elements and deploying timed online tests. The analytics are also well constructed and saved many hours that we would otherwise have spend on visualising and interrogating those exported data using spreadsheet/ statistical software.

Inconvénients :

The density of features requires more set-up time to deploy. Certainly worthwhile if you are surveying more than a handful of recipients/ clients; QuestionPro is a tool for mid to large sized projects.

Commentaires : said goodbye to previous survey tools and solutions. QuestionPro is the one that covers all our requirements.

Avantages :

We are performing surveys and market research randomly. before we moved to questionpro we tried to use other survey software, but could not build custom questions as we wanted. with questionpro everything was very customizable.

Inconvénients :

nothing really. Solid product, great support.

Commentaires : Good. We are on the free package so I can't complain. Renewal was challenging with an ask to add their language to web in the footer. Due to some websites being supported with federal funding, the non-profit has to get permission to add content. This can be extremely cumbersome. I think questionpro can find another promo opportunity than to put small non-profits through the hoops for renewal when it isn't needed.

Avantages :

Intuitive software that is easy to use. Immediate results.

Inconvénients :

Cloning a previous survey wasn't straightforward

Fantastic for Nonprofit Use

Avantages :

I am SO grateful that there is a nonprofit version of this tool. Our attempts to use other survey platforms to meet our needs were unsuccessful. QuestionPro meets every one of our needs, on top of being incredibly economical!

Inconvénients :

The only thing I dislike is having to annually renew without being reminded to do so. If I don't log into the platform on time, then our account is temporarily closed. I would prefer to receive an email or some other proactive notification to renew.
