Commentaires : SOTI MobiControl helps us when it comes to asset management. Using this MDM, we can easily extract report, remotely access enrolled devices, manage applications, locate devices and other features. So overall, I guess it has been wonderful.

Avantages :

Their Location Tracing feature is simply amazing and very helpful. We've had concerns of missing android devices and theft, and we use this feature to help us locate where they are.

Inconvénients :

So far, report customization needs improvement. It still provides those basic details, however, it will sill help if we can customize reports to what the company needs.

Excellent app for tracking and controlling the use of company mobile devices

Commentaires : Love the customer support. They are very quick to answer your emails and very knowledgable. They are very good at teaching you how to work with SOTI.

Avantages :

Being able to lockdown devices. Being able to remotely troubleshoot the devices. Being able to track and view device logs.

Inconvénients :

The initial setup takes some knowledge, especially if you want to add certain specific features. I wanted all devices to use a company logo as a background and that required some tweaking, but customer support was quick and knowledgable to help out with configuring it.

Its easy to deploy over mobile devices & easily manageable through control portal or remote session troubleshooting whenever needed. Easy to onboard & off-board devices.

Inconvénients :

Compliance baseline could be better. Also tough to collaborate with some other application.

SOTI is powerful MDM tool

Avantages :

I like that you can setup folder with profiles to install on devices automatically. I like the level of customization

Inconvénients :

Time sync on devices stops if soti server is offline.

Great affordable MDM with amazing Remote Control

Commentaires : We use this mostly for deploying/controlling barcoding devices (ex. Zebra). Although not as simple to deploy as some other products (mostly is using Telnet), it does have outstanding Remote Control, and it is an extremely stable product. We have many very large deployment and it's been very easy to support. I recommend their training if you're planning to do the install; packaging the apps can be a little complex. But overall, great solution! Note that our experience so far as been mostly with the Windows Mobile operating system.

Avantages :

Not too expensive. Very complete and capable. Remote control very fast.

Inconvénients :

Creating packages is more complex than some other solutions.

Mobicontrol

Commentaires : Mobicontrol had a agent version that was not compatible with Oreo that brick 100 of my phones rendering them totally useless. Soti's response was nothing we can do sorry! Very lame, would not recommend doing business with this company.

When operational this product is very feature rich

The Soti company does not stand by there software when there are failures.

Easy manage and Visible.

Commentaires : Our business challenge is can reduce using SOTI MDM. We reduce downtime, remotely log and check the issue, we have visible all salespeople which location reach working hours.

Avantages :

We can decide to which app use the device, Which permission to use end-users, remote view the device, offline reset device is the better option.

Inconvénients :

GPS tracking feature should be improved reason is bing map does not mention all roads. Google maps can we use it's better.

Avantages :

The user interface is very friendly, the software is easy to use. It helps me achieve all my issues in my daily basis.

Inconvénients :

The price of the software could be lower, longer payment terms will be advanteage.

Great solution for managing devices

Avantages :

I liked the fact that it was easy to implement, use and teach my colleagues. It's very inituitive. I am never concerned about the safety of this software.

Inconvénients :

The price is a little bit too high for what is offered.

Work Management Tool

Commentaires : Overall this software has helped us manage our customer devices that are in the field and provides us an extra level of support by allowing us to remote into the devices. Would definitely recommend product to others looking to manage devices.

Avantages :

Software is great and offers tons of customization for all of your devices. Create apps, manage work controlled devices and remote access features all in the same software.

Inconvénients :

Difficult to navigate and not very many support documents available. In order to learn the system you will have to call Soti support for issues. Some devices require plugins that do not always work.

Universal MDM but it'll cost you.

Commentaires : The services was very useful however we didn't have the knowledge to reconfigure and implement on more devices.
The service is on the pricey side but it's worth the money if you use all the features.

Avantages :

SOTI Mobicontrol manages the settings for all mobile devices, symbol bar code readers, smartphones and tablets etc. The tool is very helpful especially in large companies.

Inconvénients :

The software remotely manage the devices- and it's working well but I will be happy to buy it for lower price.

Best MDM

Commentaires : Great tool to manage all enterprise mobile devices. Hassle free and free of mind on losing data on the people who are in the field.

Avantages :

Easy deployment and easy self learn. Easy to manage the devices with features like remote wiping and tracking.

Inconvénients :

The map they using to track is not good. It's working slow and doesn't look so modern and not user friendly.

Everything in the software worked as it was supposed to. Once I learned the UI and how to operate it, it was fairly easy to understand and use.

Inconvénients :

The UI of this software could use some work, it took a bit of messing around to be able to navigate it effectively.

Could be a lot better

Commentaires : Support is quite bad at resolving issues and their response time is painful. Devices that are named one thing will revert to their default name with no warning or reason. Adding Windows 10 Pro devices requires quite the expertise, so I advise someone with little to no IT knowledge to stay away from this and let your System Admin tackle this one.

Avantages :

The features presented on the MDM were quite impressive.

Inconvénients :

A lot of issues with this. Some Android OS devices keep losing their assigned names and they would show offline when they are on and connected to WiFi with a working connection.

My Soti review

Commentaires : We use SOTI to manage our fleet's technology. Mostly Moto TC70 android devices. SOTI is invaluable in pushing software to the devices and the Remote Control feature is great for debugging and assisting with issues.
