Great product and excellent customer service - WIN!
Commentaires : We are able to track our members and visitors with ease. The calendar feature allows us to track attendance, volunteers, and works well with our website, and other media. The online giving has made data entry so much easier! I highly recommend this product. I worked with another company for over 10 years, and thought they were the best. Breeze changed my mind. They by far have been the best solution for our church software needs.
Avantages :
The software is easy to use for both staff, and church members. It has features that allow us to work with other software programs we already use. The online giving portion is my favorite! It was an easy transition from our old church software and from our online giving software. The support team has helped me figure out creative ways to use the software, and they always respond quickly to my requests.
Inconvénients :
I wish it had church financials built in.

Easy to Use and Seamless Data Management
Commentaires : Love it, but would like to see some improvements.
Avantages :
The best thing about Breeze ChMS is giving staff access to all members and visitors. Beyond that, the management of donations is critical and data entry is very clear. The support is unmatched anywhere. Support personnel even make quick individualized help videos for your particular issue.
Inconvénients :
The email template interface is a little clunky. Using HTML is necessary, but previewing it and sending it can get tricky.

Not the Breeze marketing makes it out to be
Commentaires : Not good. Breeze has great marketing, they make it out to be this great program, that it is not. It is very basic, not a lot of bells and whistles. If you are looking for just a database for your people w/ a directory, it's fine and a good value. It has a few perks to that and a bonus volunteer scheduling system. But there are far better systems out there that help to really run a church well, Breeze does not. Customer service isn't very knowledgeable (though friendly). Even after their big upgrade, it's still extremely slow and frustrating to use. Breeze is inexpensive and it shows. Breeze fees are average for CC and ACH giving. However, with a church that has about 250k coming in through CC and ACH, we saved more than enough money in giving fees to pay for switching to a better, more expensive system.
Avantages :
Not a fan of Breeze on any level. Nothing I can say I really liked "most" as we just don't like the system.
Inconvénients :
Slow!! Even after their recent big upgrades to help with speeds. Keeps changing where things are found. Our congregation did not find it easy to use like they market it to be. Lots of complains about that, things don't make sense where they are located or how they work. Poorly designed, non-customizable app.

I use Breeze daily in the church office
Commentaires : Getting Breeze up and running for us was not too difficult; the more cumbersome part was cleaning out old data that we didn't need to keep. And then learning what kinds of things we'd like to track now that we had the ability to customize fields, set up tags, etc. It's great that it's been something we could adjust along the way. I liked the relational and clever ways of the Breeze staff; they were and are super friendly, helpful, and responsive. But when Breeze merged with Tithely I'm getting more Tithely promos and I wonder if the original selling points will change, including price.
Avantages :
Breeze is user friendly and the customer support and user community have been super helpful. It's easy to customize fields, create new ones, schedule texts, etc. I use Breeze forms ALL THE TIME and in our diverse church, we need both print and online options. It's super affordable for what it offers.
Inconvénients :
It doesn't have a facility management module so we still have to do that in another database, and it makes it hard to get everyone on board with Breeze. Our head pastor used a more extensive CHMS at another church so gets a bit down on Breeze when it can't do everything an expensive product could (like tracking registration payments, for example).

Avantages :
Breeze makes it so easy to manage our contacts, organize our groups, check-in our ministries, receive donations, and even register people for events.
Inconvénients :
Hmmm..... that's a hard question! Maybe that our team won't jump on board with the worship planning as it doesn't offer the ease of additional features that a competing program offers.

Using Breeze for our church
Commentaires : Very good. It is very user-friendly and you can customize reports. We love this option.
Avantages :
Ease of use and versatility of reports. We also like the pricing and custom options.
Inconvénients :
Although this has not happened yet (to my knowledge) - we use a third party giving platform that syncs with Breeze. We were told that we may no longer be able to sync and this might happen soon. We are not interested in changing the platform as it is tied into our live streaming, calendar and website. We hope Breeze changes their minds on this.

Works for everyone
Commentaires : Easy to train others how to use. We just held a training session for church members to learn how to use Breeze as an online directory.
Avantages :
The ease of sending emails and letters to a selected group of people.
Inconvénients :
I always have to stop and think before changing templates for giving letters. It is not intuitive, almost backwards.

Getting better
Commentaires : Overall, I am pretty happy with Breeze. I have no idea what other services are out there, but I'm sticking with Breeze.
Avantages :
It is a nice program for keeping track of all the giving from our congregation. When someone wants to know where they are at with their tithing, I can give them the exact amount.
Inconvénients :
I found Breeze very confusing when I first started using it. I took over this job from someone who really didn't explain much. Anything I wanted to do, I couldn't figure out. The good part was, there was always help at the Breeze app. I could look up what I needed to do, or ask them via the app. It was slow going, but getting better every day.

They have the BEST customer service I've ever experienced anywhere. They are patient and very knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make sure you receive the help you need.

Sometimes I think they are working on the site and things don't come up as they should and then later they do and it can be confusing.

Breeze is a breeze!
Commentaires : We are a small church and decided it was time to come into the 21st century. We researched many options for church management software and narrowed it down to two, based on price and features. The folks at the other site sent several canned messages but never really responded to our questions. The team at Breeze - real people! - touched base, answered every question we had (even the "stupid" ones), and even extended our free trial after a death in the family interfered with our ability to really evaluate the program.
Avantages :
Easy to use, great customer service, tons of tutorials. If I can't find the answer to a "how to", I send an email and get a reply within a day or two (usually within hours). And having the team at Breeze transfer our data was a huge timesaver and one more thing off my plate. While we're new users, having only been with Breeze a few months, I am very impressed with the program and the customer service.
Inconvénients :
Breeze is individual driven, rather than family driven. I find this makes it a little trickier to do some of the things I used to do with my former program. It's a small issue, so far, but I do see it as a drawback.

Commentaires : It's been great to also have a phone/ipad app to use, which I use all the time. Breeze chms is easy to learn and use.
Avantages :
Working in Children's Ministry we needed an affordable & reliable way to check-in our children. Our main church software program was not user friendly and to get the check-in portion added was ridiculously expensive, so I began researching for our church something that we could use in Children's Ministry but, would serve our overall church staff as well. We began with Breeze near their beginning and I'm been very pleased to have seen it grow to add more and more to help churches like us. We are very pleased and happy with Breeze CHMS and I would & have recommended it to others.
Inconvénients :
In the beginning it was the customer service and the ability to get a quick answer but, they have made vast improvements and there is no problem now.

Breeze is a Breeze and the best bang for your buck!
Commentaires : I have loved using Breeze! It is very intuitive to use, easy to customize, and an incredibly good value for the cost. Prior to Breeze we were paying literally 8 times more for a church management system that was INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to use and charged different rates for different levels of functionality. Breeze is one low price, comes with friendly customer service, and works really well. We have used it for several years and I am still happy with it and sing its praises!
Avantages :
What I like most about Breeze is how easy it is to sort data and then run very specific, targeted reports. We used to use another popular church management software that literally cost 8 times as much and was incredibly difficult to use; you had to take classes with the company to learn it. Breeze is not like that at all. It is very intuitive and customizable.
Inconvénients :
Breeze uses a tag system to help you organize groups in the system (e.g. If you have a Sunday School class and you want to keep track of who all is in it, you create a specific tag for the class and then tag all of the profiles of the people who are in that class). The one thing I wish you could do for each class or tag group you create would be some way to mark in the tag listing who the leader(s) are for the group (perhaps like a "sub-tag"). Currently, if you want to keep track of who a group leader is for a given tag, the work around is to include the actual leader's name in the tag name itself (e.g. "Adult Sunday School-Jane Doe's Group"). Also, as far as a I know, there is no way to set it up to where members of a tagged group can email or contact each other through Breeze without being able to see all of the other tag possibilities in the system, which is a big liability. Currently, the only people who can access and see tags in our system are staff members, since we do not want all of our members to have access to all of the possible tags we've created.
Perfect for small churches, a bit cumbersome for large churches
Commentaires : There were a lot of features we liked, but just need a system that could handle a larger-scale operation. If you're a small church with a tight budget, this is a no-brainer.
Avantages :
Breeze is very easy to use, has an adequate UI, and offers a lot of useful features, and the price for what you get is unbeatable.
Inconvénients :
Breeze simply is not designed for large churches, which we are. I believe they advertise this, even. They state for churches of 600 people or less, and considering we had over 10,000 profiles, we just asked too much of this system. It would function perfectly for churches with small congregations, but the load speeds alone were crippling towards the end. I don't really feel like this review is fair to breeze, as , for what it is, especially at the unbeatable price point, it's a very admirable Church Management tool.

Incredibly easy to use. Customizable. We no longer print our church directory but offer database access (limited to parameters that we choose).

Breeze Is The Entire Package
Commentaires : This software has EVERYTHING we need, plus some! Everything from data organization to analysis. It's very user-friendly & extremely customizable. It has everything (plus some) that our previous system had & it's less than half the cost. The customer service is top-notch. The response time is within minutes (considering hours of operations.) The capabilities of the program are endless, I'm learning something new every day. But the glory of it is that I don't NEED to know everything there is to know about the system to be able to use the features we use most.
Avantages :
Its impossible to choose, the texting and email integration is pretty awesome!
Inconvénients :
There is nothing I have found. if there is a setting I don't like, it can be changed.

Great System for a Great Price
Commentaires : They are always helpful, well trained and respond quickly. They are also very receptive to changes and suggestions.
Avantages :
We really love this system. It is great for tracking and communicating. It is such a robust system for the price. When we researched systems, other databases with all these options were considerably more expense. They are always rolling out new updates which shows us how much they care about our input and the work they are doing.
Inconvénients :
The email system, forms and reports all work but could use updates to fix some glitches and have more options available. Even with these though, we are very pleased with the system.

Avantages :
The one thing that brings Breeze above other great products is their support team. It is the most responsive, helpful team of any product I've ever come across in any context. These guys are fantastic. How I use Breeze: Breeze lets me communicate easily via text or email to various sub-groups of people using Tags. We use Breeze's automated reminder/RSVP system for our children's program which has saved me SO much time and hassle, and we're able to track attendance of our children's program. I send out a weekly newsletter through Breeze (which allows me to track readership). We receive money for events through the forms feature, and use Forms regularly for all kinds of things. I like that receiving registration payments through forms connects those same payers to their contact ID in the member database.
Inconvénients :
Two things I would love to offer to our people that Breeze can't do currently: 1) We are currently limited in our ability to let folks pick the roles they'd like for various event signups. I have to go to outside sites like SignupGenius for that, which is no longer linked to the database. A cross between SignupGenius and TakeThemAMeal would be fantastic and allow us to stay inside Breeze for all that communication. 2) Having a secure login for our folks is great, and it would be very helpful if we could upload some content to a common page for things like church bylaws, mission statement, Children's program policies, etc. Currently there's no direct way to upload content to the database or to show your own custom "home" page when users log in. Even that would be helpful because I could put links to PDF files without asking Breeze to host more stuff.
Make your data usable and easy to access
Commentaires : Breeze has been a wonderful company to work with. Training new people to use it has been so easy. We are extremely happy with this software.
Avantages :
I like many things about this product. For contributions, it is so easy to track giving and to teach others how to input the data. Reporting is quick and easy. Online giving is easy for donors to use. I also like the ease of editing categories and tracking attendance for our training classes and Sunday school. For a general database of members, it is so easy to edit and tag people for the various groups you create. The customer service at Breeze is the best! They have always answered any question quickly and cheerfully, and they are available to any user. The cost is reasonable and includes all of the features.
Inconvénients :
Sometime I cannot get the reports I want, but I think that is because I haven't researched how to do it. Online contributions can take a week to get into our bank account; however, the notifications are immediate, so that is helpful.
Very Dependable Support
Commentaires : I am still impressed and they keep making improvements, many of which I don't use but one day perhaps the secretary will be trained to use for different records of attendance, etc. I an impressed with their customer service. They can answer questions and guide me by phone, email, etc. I wanted especially to have my quarterly statements reflect pledges for individuals who pay in a previous year for an upcoming pledge. I thought I would have to do those few individuals statements manually because I would enter the current year and it would not show they had paid their pledge. I was pleasantly instructed to just change the fiscal year to include the month they paid and it would show the pledge paid and not confuse for their taxes which year they made their contribution. Worked great!
Avantages :
This software offers so many things that churches can use. In my case, I use the accounting side of the software which includes not just contributions, but names addresses, membership, phone numbers, mailing labels, etc. There are others parts of the software that I do not use but I am confident function as well as the portion I use. When I have a question or problem, I send an email and get almost instant reply along with some videos that explain how to use or solve a problem I am having.

At this point the quarterly statements and how much editing allowed is limited. However, I am pleased to say that it has improved since I first began. I wished I could download to WORD or pdf folder.

Commentaires : We switched to this software after researching 4-5 other software products and we are so glad that we did. We realize no ChMS is perfect but this one is a solid attempt.
Avantages :
The ease of use of this software compared to everything else we tried and used previously is second to none. It is intuitive and easy to use. Also the cost to use, is unbelievable compared to what we had before.
Inconvénients :
Breeze was missing some of the power features that we had previously used when using ACS like bulk mailings.

I love the ease of check in, and the way that you can customize the features you need. Also love how you can get all the data you want in pre-made charts, spreadsheets and other ways.
Inconvénients :
You have to be really involved in getting the members of the organization on board. I would love an email feature that you could send out and have the members populate the fields of data. (Name, etc.). They can already do that now but I would like a quick way to advertise and promo to them to update their info. Also I think a survey feature would be awesome. I know there are forms, etc. but just an easier way to track and process that data from a survey.
Breeze is just that – a real Breeze!
Commentaires : Our database was kept on MS Access before we switched. Operating this program was only through one congregant, and that was not a good position to be in. With Breeze, the use is easily understandable and several people in our organization, including any donor, can be given levels of access.
Avantages :
Tracking money, onling giving, and pledges
Inconvénients :
Integration was a bit of a challenge, but Breeze employees worked with our folks until the transfer was fully made. It still needed tweeking in the ways we used it, which we learned as we used it.
Breeze is the answer to opening communication with our membership and staff, and so much more!
Commentaires : Breeze has opened the communication highway for our congregation and staff, with very little training. Breeze Help response and quality is available for all users and answers most of their questions without having to contact me (Data Coordinator). Because members can update their own records and search easily for other members - and map their locations, send emails and text right from Breeze, they love it and our data is more real-time accurate. Our ministries are stronger, because they can trust the data in Breeze, which is easily accessed anywhere, anytime.
Avantages :
Breeze is very easy. Very little training is needed for staff. Members are currently using it for communication with each other and registering for calendar events easily. They will be continue to use more of Breeze's capabilities. Breeze continues to update the software automatically, for free with no down time. Help documentation is extremely helpful, many times with short videos, which are so helpful! Help documents are easy to email to users if needed. They really like this. Documentation is continually updated with new features. About 1/2 our congregation of 300 are using Breeze. Very few of these have had questions about usage. It is USER FRIENDLY.
Inconvénients :
I know Breeze is constantly working on user wishes. My major wish would be an easy way to visualize security Roles for comparison, updating and accuracy.
