The import/export is a bit tricky. I'm not sure if the product is limited or it's just my lack of knowledge, but I couldn't get the data I needed to export.

I love the Quotient Software!!
Commentaires : Not only is the software super easy to use, it is super customizable. I've never used any other proposal generating software so I have nothing to compare it to but I'm very impressed. I'm super picky about user interfaces and intuitive software. The people who created this are genuses. Also, it is really nice that they send out emails for feedback and take the time to personally respond. Their customer service aspect is great and it is so nice to to have my input and ideas valued, validated and appreciated!
Avantages :
I LOVE the user-friendly interface of the software and the customizable line items. I LOVE that it is all done online with quick access for clients including accepting contracts and the convenience of the Q&A section for multiple CCs on a single proposal. My management updates the pricing in each line item annually and it makes keeping up with price increases super easy! Being able to include photos of what the products look like is so helpful. There really are just too many great things to say about this software.
Inconvénients :
I hope to see collapsible line items in the future. My proposals are super detailed because I think it is important to educate people so they can make informed decisions. However, when doing add-on options and providing multiple (Good/better/best) options for desired services, the quote gets really overwhelming and LONG. If the line items were collapsible they would be able to find options easier/with less confusion and it wouldn't seem like so much content in their face all at once.

Exactly the simple, professional online quote system we needed
Commentaires : I have told many people that quotient is one of the best business software products we use and I stand by that. It is exactly the tool we needed to solve our cost to quote problem which was limiting our business growth. Our time to generate a quote went from 4-6 person hours to a matter of minutes, and our number of quotes generated and contracts signed has increased dramatically. We did not need a complicated system, we just needed an easy to use way to make consistent quotes without a ton of effort, and Quotient fills that need for us perfectly.
Avantages :
The interface is brilliantly designed to be simple and easy to use while offering options for customization in an insightful way. FOr our company, it has saved hundreds of hours of staff time that used to be spent generating quotes manually by automating repeated quotes with templates and offering a great interface for customizing quote content in a consistent and professional format.
Inconvénients :
That I didn't have it years ago. While we have used it for a year and a half, the time it took to generate a quote before then still haunts me. There are some custome features we would like, but the product grows to add things at a measured pace to keep it simple.

Quoting made easy
Commentaires : Quotient's customer service was great. The free 30 day trial allowed us to have a good test of the features and functionality we need. We really enjoyed the communication capture between quote person and customer. However, we found it lacking for complex quoting. If you have less than 500 items in your catalogue and you don't need complex pricing, Quotient would be a great fit.
Avantages :
Quotient has a very nice look and feel. Especially the quotes that get delivered to customers. Very nice presentation. When you send the quote to your customer, they get a link to a website. On the website, they can put notes against any quote line, change order quantity, etc. When you customer is ready to sign off the quote, they do it all electronically. All the correspondence between you and the customer captured in the quote and the quote revisions.
Inconvénients :
While the UI and customer experience is excellent, the administrative set up and usage lacks a lot of features. If you only need to quote basic items, it works fine. But if you have more complex quoting requirements, Quotient may not be right for you. - Product code - 30 character limit - Search is limited to looking for the beginning of a part code/desription string. If you are looking for a search term in the middle of a string, you won't find it. - Exporting data is not good. You can export quote summaries, but you cannot export at the quote line level of detail. (You can print to pdf, but you cannot extract the entire quote to csv). - You can set up multiple items with the same part code and description. Quotient does not protect against duplicates. - No functionality for quantity break pricing.

Quotient creates a great presentation
Commentaires : Quotient has really improved our presentation to potential clients. It puts them in control of their budget and what they intend to spend, and also explains in detail and pictures what our services/products are. I’ve received a lot of feedback and we’ve experienced more closings of jobs.
Avantages :
The simplicity and the ease of use. It’s not overly complicated and makes it easy to build out a quote of varying degrees.
Inconvénients :
I don’t like that quotient doesn’t have features for converting the quotes to invoices, and receiving payments. You can integrate with QuickBooks, but our business would be able to eliminate QuickBooks if we were able to handle estimates, invoices and payments thru Quotient. I would also like to see a more complex scenarios for either or options, because some choices in products necessitate additional optional services that go with it.

Nothing but good things to say! Customer service has been awesome, the emails sent my way provide me with useful information, not just another sales pitch or special offer, and the pricing for what we get is perfect. A program designed for the big boys, but priced with the little guy in mind!
-the initial set-up was easy
-adding or removing price items is simple
-dido for text items
-quick glance on the margin you're making is very useful while working on a quote
-collaborating with teammates is easy
-knowing what quotes you have on the table, who you need to follow up with, and which deals you have won with just one click is awesome
-being able to integrate with other programs we use on a daily basis was a bonus
-the overall appearance of our quotes is like nothing else our clients have seen
-being able to create and save templates for items or combinations of items we sell often saves us a lot of time
What can I say...we love Quotient!
Avantages :
I think when it comes down to it, the last thing I need is the headaches that come with over complicated programs, that continuously try to upsell you, or strip away tons of features unless you dish out more dime. With Quotient, you get an easy to use program from start to finish, for a reasonable price. As an added bonus, you have the satisfaction of providing a final presentation you can be proud of. When I did have questions I couldn't figure out on my own, a quick and directly related response to my email is what I got. If I could say one more thing, it would be about communication. Not too little, and not too much. If there's one thing I find annoying, it's the daily BS emails I get with special offers, or useless information from most other companies. I don't get that with Quotient; the emails I do receive are pertinent to what I'm using the program for and help me save time, effort, and in the end, money.
Inconvénients :
In all honesty, I can't think of any cons when it comes to Quotient.
Best Estimate Software EVER!

Avantages :
We love how easy and straightforward it is. Being able to use Quotient for our estimates really sets apart from other contractors and our clients are always telling us how much they like the way our estimates look, how easy they are to read and that they love the "optional" option which allows us to make our quotes a la carte'!
Inconvénients :
I wish there was a way to delete quotes and for Quotient to connect to Wave for invoice processing. Or if Quotient had an option for sending invoices/receiving payments would be even better. I'd love an all-in-one program to keep things streamlined.
Wish we had started using it sooner

We are really enjoying using quotient, super easy to set up and best of all you can keep all communication with the customer attached to their job. its amazing.
Inconvénients :
If someone else sent the quote and it gets accepted, it only emails the sender. it would be great if we can put 2 email addresses in for responses so the office staff can set up the jobs.

Commentaires : Almost perfect, but just needs a little more flexibility.

So easy to use, looks professional and has some great features.

The inability to tailor follow-ups for each quote, resulting in follow-ups when leads had already acknowledged receipt.

Your app is absolutely perfect for small businesses like us where we don't just quote pricing, we use the app as a persuasion tool to present our proposal in a very convincing way to customers with product links, pictures, data sheet attachments to give the customer a complete experience of what they would get when they accept our proposal. Our customers just love the beautiful format of the quote they receive and it stands out amongst all competitors who use email, excel and other form of quotes to present the same proposal.
Inconvénients :
Pricing is too expensive for small businessIf individual items have different GST, summary should mention the line items that have a particular rate of GST, else unable to use the format in pdf when tax rates are different as customers want to see which line items has which rate of tax
Easy Quoting and Great Communication Platform
Commentaires : Quotient provided a great temporary software four our quoting team during a transition to a more robust system - for smaller companies that do not want to setup enterprise software such as SAP or Salesforce, this is a great solution
Avantages :
Quotient clean and customer-friendly looking quotes and makes it easy for our teams to collaborate and exchange information across the platform
Inconvénients :
Quotient can be difficult to set up and takes time and resources to customize the software to work for your specific needs
Takes the chore out of quoting - so much so that it almost becomes fun!
Commentaires : I used to hate quoting. Opening Excel, reminding myself of my current costs, adding mark-ups and then writing the whole thing out in Word. PDFing the document, emailing it to the client and then chasing them up if you haven't heard back. A time consuming chore. And what a difference Quotient has made. Easy to set-up templates, customisable with a few design options, professional looking, auto-fill fields (which can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes, to be honest), a great dashboard and you can see when quotes have been opened. Plus you're reminded to prompt clients if you haven't heard a response and there's a digital fingerprint if the quote is approved. But for me, the best feature is that you can add in optional items that the client can choose to select/deselect with the quote automatically recalculating accordingly. This feature alone has saved me hours as a lot of the jobs we do have a number of options. Overall, a great product.

Quotient - Quotes made easy!
Commentaires : We have been a Quotient customer for over six months and it has completely sorted out our organisational issues. A new member of staff can learn how to use it so quickly due to its intuitive nature. Having a central app that stores all the details of customers and products makes life so much simpler. The old system had us searching through each others' folders for client information which could be both irritating and time-consuming. We are also able to keep track of the percentages of quotes accepted and various other helpful statistics through graphs and charts. We definitely recommend this software highly and have used it daily since we installed it.

When you edit a quote, you cannot view the old edition, which would help to show a customer the difference between the original and new quote

Historically I have spent hours creating quotes for clients. I found with Quotient it's easy to create a quote quickly and track when customers receive, read and sign these quotes.
Inconvénients :
The search function wasn't powerful enough for me and I did find the pricing on the high side for what it is.

I have been trying and trying to find something that works well with Quickbooks online invoicing and Quickbooks Payments. All the CRM software companies want you to use their invoicing systems. It was so frustrating. This is SEAMLESS with QB!!! I love it!!!

I would love a little more design customization on the templates/forms.
Easy to Set Up and Use
Commentaires : We use it for quoting legal services to clients and have enjoyed using it so far.
Avantages :
We started using this app for quotes for legal services about a month ago. We really like all the features and how easy it is to use and set up quotes and templates. We found several to choose from, and although this cost a little more than the others, we are pleased with our choice.
Inconvénients :
We've had some issues getting notifications of messages from potential clients. It's not clear on the site that there are pending messages and who on the team gets notifications of messages.
No Better Product for the Money
Commentaires : We are a high end kitchen & bath showroom and deal with very unique products and services and this has been the only product that's well structured enough to create something simple, clean and presentable while still offering the customization we need with every order.

Not able to easily "duplicate" items... but this can be done by creating your item library for commonly used SKU's

Avantages :
Price quotes are a necessary evil in the web and branding design world. So many people want a price quote, but a quote doesn't always lead to a sale, so you don't want to spend all day on quotes. This software allows me to spend less time on quotes, and also creates quotes that are attractive, professional, and more likely to convert to a sale.
Inconvénients :
The price is more than using Google Docs or a simple free alternative; but hey, you get what you pay for, and the quality from this app is worth the cost.

Sometimes I get a bit confused when trying to do some tasks. I sometimes get a bit confused around sending the cover email and viewing that cover once it's been sent.
An online price quoting tool that is everything you need and nothing you don't
Commentaires : Quotient is all you need and nothing you don't for online client proposals. We assessed several online proposal platforms, dismissing them one by one as complicated, over featured, time consuming to configure. Then we found Quotient and haven't looked back.

Inconvénients :
Not designed as yet for large scale sales teams. Would prefer a digital signature system over ticking a box to accept a proposal.
Amazing! Simply amazing. This software has saved us hundreds of hours each year.
Avantages :
This software gives us the ability to offer our customers several options with each quotation and up-sell with ease. Because of the interactive functionality of the software, it's allowed us to provide a best practice scenario with each quotation and consequently, our average spend has increased.
Inconvénients :
It would be good to have somewhere to save another two or three follow-up emails. Obviously not a problem if you're automating this process.

It's simple and easy to use interface. You can set up a base template and send your first quote in no time at all.

I want to note that I have given customer support a 5 -star, yet I have not used it. The functionality is simple and very easy to use. I have used Invoice2go in the past, which is also a great product..but this is better.
here are my reasons:
Quotient is even easier to use
the options available while placing the quotes is far superior
this seamlessly goes hand in hand with xero - Instantly! as soon as the quotes accept button has been clicked, it automatically shows up in xero in the draft invoices. from there its one click, and its sent. no need to retype the invoice to match the quote.
I really like invoice2go, but I wont be going back. This is a superior software in my line of work.
