this is a software and system both has helped in the company billing and management of the overall company's billing functions and get money owned to the company

Long time user of Medics

Commentaires : We have used Medics for 11 years now. When we first starting using it, it seems we were one of the first smaller practices. Medics has helped us customize the program. Although not set up for pediatric clients, there are many ways we can customize the Demographic Field ourselves.

Avantages :

Medics is a very robust program. If we want to do something with it, we can. Support staff are very helpful.

Inconvénients :

For people unfamiliar with the program it takes a while to get used to it.

Costumer Service staff is great! but once they call to resolve an issue, most of the time they don't know how to resolve. Most of the time they have to get back to us.

Avantages :

That we don't have fill in different tabs on patient demos. Being able to print bills and letters and save them on pdf format.

Inconvénients :

can't print the adequate reports for our practice. Not being able to fix our own custom forms. Huge cons is that we have to constantly making sure the insurance order is clicked otherwise the the hcfas wont print...among other things. No very happy with this new system.

efficiancy at it greatest

Avantages :

Medics premier works well for us. It is easy to teach,and easy to run report from. My data is accurate. It interfaces with many components that makes running a 6 doctor practice more efficient.

Inconvénients :

I believe that the scheduler can be improved on. Medic elite has a better scheduler.

Commentaires : Ok for what we have but I feel it is limited with other software products.

Avantages :

At the beginning of our EMR transition the flow of scheduling to EMR software

Inconvénients :

Is not compatible with other software for phone call reminders, downloading insurance eligiiblities by batch and not user friendly when trying to create new forms to add to patient file. Also, electronic signatures are not easy to use with patient at the check in desk.

Partnership with MedicsPremier

Commentaires : We started with MedicsPremier in the beginning. We were convinced by other software vendors that they had more robust features that would help us run our business with better analytics. We did not find this to be the case and switch back to MedicsPremier to get claims out correctly and paid quickly. No software is perfect. I will take MedicsPremier over the other software that does not have the capabilities or functionality of MedicsPremier.

Avantages :

We like the functionality of MedicsPremier. The ability to customize the software to our needs has been paramount in providing the data and analytics our facility partners require to run a successful program.

Inconvénients :

Because of MedicPremiers highly flexible software, it may be a little bit less user friendly then other software out their. We have used many of them and found they were not able to manage our needs so we are happy to live with any minor complications the arise.

Medics Premier and Change Healthcare

Commentaires : Medics Premier has been one of the easiest systems to learn and program. I have been in the field for 30+ years and with the provided "help" function I have been able to learn the system easily. The best "help" function I have used.

Avantages :

This product is user friendly and easy to train new employees for the job duties they are going to perform. The pre-scrub of claims is very helpful letting us know what errors the claim may have and we can fix on the front end and send the claim out clean.

Inconvénients :

I am still familiarizing myself with the reports that are in the system. In some cases I may have to run more than 1 report to gather all the data we are looking for.

Medics Premier

Avantages :

My favorite feature of the software is the scheduling. I use this software daily for both billing and scheduling. It is easy to navigate and user friendly.

Inconvénients :

The normal response time to help calls sometimes is extremely long. Also, so representatives are hard to understand which can take longer to fix issues. I will say that I have never had an issue not be fixed. So it is not all bad just lacking in some areas.

Commentaires : I have been using MedicsPremier for over 10 years. I have experienced ease of use and extremely high functionality. I would choose the software if I had to do it all over again!!

Avantages :

The customer services is exceptional!! From sales to implementation and training the program and the support staff has been amazing. I have used many billing programs over the 25 years I've been in this business and MedicsPremier is extremely user friendly, easy to use and extremely efficient for productive work flow!

Inconvénients :

I wish the statements / receipts I am able to print are more updated. They are very dated in appearance. However, they are easy to produce and understand by the client.

easy to use - the reporting isn't great. Seems there could be someway to prevent patients being duplicated.

easy for employees to delete posted payments and embezzle

User Friendly

Commentaires : We utilize the letter module & with the customized documents we created, we were able to discontinue using a professional print company. We fully utilize all modules of the product, from scheduling, to coding & billing, & patient statements.

Avantages :

MedicsPremier is extremely user friendly. We are able to quickly & efficiently perform tasks within the system in order to run our busy medical practice. MedicsPremier covers every aspect of office operation with ease. We are able to customize forms within the letter module to aid in patient care & daily tasks. We rarely have an issue but when necessary, support is readily available & expeditious.

Inconvénients :

We are very pleased with Premier & have used it for 20+ years. The only issue I can think of is, when making an appointment, if you open multiple screens, the demographics may not save.

Works Perfect for Our GYN Office

The product is easy to use, very easy to do check in and check out, and it's the thing our new staff is able to pick up on the quickest.

Inconvénients :

transitioning was the hardest part but once we got up and running we have loved it

The software is very user friendly. We have been using this software for over 10 years and overall have been happy with the program. Software support has also been very helpful when needed.

Inconvénients :

The reports could be a little easier to use as well as more specific detail.

Commentaires : Our billing company has been using Medics Premier for 15 years and our business has grown with ADS. Customer Support is absolutely incredible. ADS has helped us to produce powerful results for our clients in terms of revenue we've generated.

It is not a big issue, but sometimes the update adds some features that seems to me useless, but I am sure some people may find those new features quite helpful.

Support Service Must Be Improved

Avantages :

The software is ""lightning fast to perform on.

Inconvénients :

Customer Support is something that needs to be drastically improved. We pay $3000.00 for our support contract and most of the time we wait about 3 hours on average for someone to call us on each ticket created. Any support calls placed after 3pm EST are not being returned until the next business day.

It's easy to use and has great posting functions. Posting payments and charges goes smoothly in this software.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't put the account overview in date of service order. It puts in order that it's entered which makes it hard to find specific dates without scrolling through the entire chart.

EASY-TO-USE MEDICAL APP

Commentaires : Medical practice has been made very easy as one does not necessarily need to be technically savvy to use this Software. Every aspect of the Software is carefully explained and this has made it very quick to learn.

Avantages :

The MedicsPremier is very user-friendly. It makes the medical practice efficient and effective thereby enhancing performance in the Clinic.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the database structure makes it difficult to access the particular information one wants to at a given time. It takes a lot of knowledge to understand the right process.

Easy to use system

Avantages :

I get fast service whenever we need it. The work is completed quickly.

Inconvénients :

If you need to reinstall after a crash, you will pay close to what you paid to get the system in the first place. Shouldn't be, when you are paying an annual fee to maintain the service.

Great system!

Commentaires : In our office it is great because we can create the system to work with what we do daily. The system is easy to use and if there is any a system problem I get help fast. If I ever have any questions I am able to get them answered and shown how to do things.

That you get to create temples that best suit your office.
