Avantages :

PowerApps m'a permis de digitaliser la gestion de mon personnel. Mes employés accèdent à leurs plannings via la plateforme, et à partir de PowerApps je peux consulter leur temps de travail et les demandes de congés entre autres.

Inconvénients :

Il est difficile de gérer une grande quantité de personnel à partir de l'application.

Great for Automation and User Input.

Commentaires : We are managing an IT Support line through tickets that are requested in our app.

Avantages :

It's a great alternative to automation on administrative processes saving a lot of time for our team. We have connected our Powerapps to Interactive reports in PowerBI which has allowed us to gain visibility in our Overall KPI'S.

Inconvénients :

It still has some improvement to be done such as allowing Pop up alerts and making the PDF Viewer a estable solution instead of Beta.

A good app but with a good room for improvement

Avantages :

It's really easy to use, even people who are not used to programming can easily build an app. Its drag-and-drop programming sort of type makes everything easy.

Inconvénients :

It does not perform very well. Despite a good internet connection, it takes a lot of time to open the app in its online editor. Moreover, the application freezes from time to time, so if you don't have auto-save enabled or if your changes did not hit the minimum amount of time required for the auto-save, you risk losing your changes.

Commentaires : My overall experience is very good the estimated prototyping phase reduce from months to days with respect to the traditional development approach. The interfaces are clean even if non so fancy in terms of graphics. However, the same standard interfaces are great for data entry.

Avantages :

I like the fact that is easy to use by allowing the composition of apps without great programming skills. The latest features like the possibility to create apps starting from description using copilot or by simply uploading an excel file are killer features respect to similar products on the markets.

Inconvénients :

The fact that it is a little bit tricky to connect on-premise datasource. So for example it is possible to read SAP ECC7 on premise tables an to call BAPI function however the setup of such connections is not so easy to be implemented. This does not means that the functionality is lost but for a non IT person it would be nearly impossible to do such kind of setup without the help of skilled professionals.

Best in Market for Low code No code light weight App development tool

Commentaires : Overall experience is great. By using PowerApps time to market is drastically reduced. It is very handy tool which allow to build app for all different kind of devices with minimal coding skills .

Using premium connector makes this App expensive compare to its competitor . Licensing cost should be simplified . Development interface should be improved , in case building custom apps managing code become night mare .Handling large volume of data need to be improved.

Avantages :

Allows the general business user contribute but being involved in the SDLC at a dev level

Inconvénients :

Limited in the design and ux features. The apps need to be more responsive to invite more use case

Powerapps as a SharePoint Front End

Commentaires : Have implemented a range of solutions for different businesses and departments within those businesses, integrating to Power Flow for good measure.

Avantages :

PowerApps allows us to customise and deploy front ends that are secure whilst attaching to SharePoint databases. We benefit from the single Microsoft login for both products and the confidence that the data behind them is secure.

Inconvénients :

Can be a bit of a pain to depot changes across multiple environments (dev / test / live) and some users just can't get their heads around why they can't bookmark a page of the app from their browser address bar.

It's the most easy to use app

Commentaires : I really like it. It's been very helpful in our team. We are using this for various request form within our department. It's easily integrable with other Microsoft tools

Avantages :

I use this in my team for supply chain and I like the form create feature which gives us important information. The capturing of data is super easy. I like how it has a tutorial to help out.

Inconvénients :

It would be nice if customization is easier. There are also restrictions in upload size. Sometimes mapping data to SharePoint can get tedious.

The best software on the market for small and large solutions

Commentaires : PowerApps can solve many different problems across business workstreams, from supply chain through HR. With this great scalability and functionality richness, each software built on PowerApps can look differently, but still it will meet the business expectations.

Avantages :

What I like most about PowerApps is its scalability and a wide variety of functionalities. As a LCAP application, it can be used to build small solutions without the need of deep technical knowledge of code. More importantly, PowerApps can serve as a great meanse to build more robust solutions that offer many functionalities and API connectors.

Inconvénients :

I first started using PowerApps for customizing SharePoint forms, which sometimes doesn't work as expected. I have had a few situations, when the PowerApps customized forms collapsed and Microsoft technical support struggled to find the root cause.

Is a different and simple way to grow the amount of information needed in the daily management

Avantages :

The simple way to put together different forms that help with those needs that are not the most important for the business and that would take too much time to develop

Inconvénients :

It does not allow to grow or program in an orderly way those more complex needs that can occur once the use of the same is advanced.

Power Apps la neuva herramienta soluciones de aplicaciones

Commentaires : actualemnte nos encontramos desarrollando varias aplicaciones para nuestros clientes las cuales solucionan varias problemanticas que se les han presentado como gestión de recursos, dashboards, seguimeinto de tickets ,etc.

Avantages :

Que al ser una herramienta low code permite que prácticamente cualquier persona pueda utilizarla, obviamente involucra complejidad dependiendo que tan robusta quiere uno que sea la aplicación, es interesante el que se puede integrar autoamtizaciones , reporte de power bi etc, ya que pertenece al grupo de herramientas de power platform de microsoft

Inconvénients :

que sigue teniendo algunas decadencias al ser una herramienta relativamente nueva, aunque esto realmente no creo dure por un largo tiempo ya que se ha observado que durante estos años que la herramienta ha sido lanzada ha habido una gran cantidad de actualizaciones para optimizar su funcionamiento.

Commentaires : Fue mi paso siguiente para adentrarme en programación, luego de pasar por las hojas de excel. Permitiendome ascender un nivel en la complejidad de la programación y la creación de herramientas para ser utilizadas en las diferentes etapas de los procesos de mi organización.

Avantages :

Por la facilidad para configurar la herramienta, ademas de poder trabajar sobre herramientas de Diseño en su interfaz.

Inconvénients :

Que es tan versatil que requiere comenzar a trabajar desde cero en la idea de un aplicación o automatizacion de procesos.

La facilidad de desarrollo de "lo que se te ocurra" en cualquier dispositivo.Es un entorno en el que puedes diseñar formularios, automatizaciones, formulariosNosotros entramos con la necesidad de un control de presencia movilidad y de ahí casi cualquier registro sobre base de datos que necesitamos desde cualquier sitio

Inconvénients :

El licenciamiento. Con el tiempo ha ido cambiando y cosas que antes eran la licencia free luego fue de pago, luego separaron el powerautomate... es el problema del Saas, estas "vendido" a las decisiones sobre el producto del fabricante sin opción de opinion

PowerApps HR

Commentaires : We needed better software from what we were using from our previous HR. I only used the previous program a few times and PowerApps seems much easier and convenient.

Avantages :

I like how easy it is to use for my employees. It is necessary that they can figure out the software on their own and not raise any tickets for our support team.

Inconvénients :

I think the layout could be improved a bit. The install was easy but had a few kinks that we needed to work out. In the end, it works as intended.

Versatile and simple tool

Commentaires : It allows end users to have a customized tool that integrates data from different sources and with an appropriate approval system. We eliminate the email for day-to-day management.

Avantages :

The software for the end user allows us to obtain a tool tailored to our needs. Integrating database, programming and an approval system. All online and with integration with MO 365

Inconvénients :

The visual appearance is improvable. It takes a long time to load the data at startup.

Powerapps kann für so gut wie jede Funktion benutzt werden und ist unglaublich mächtig, was die Features betrifft.

Es ist leider etwas schwer die ganzen Features erstmals zu lernen.

Create apps within hours with less technical expertise

Commentaires : It is a nice tool to create apps for your office/Business needs.It has a better connectivity with all the office apps as it is part of the same package.The platform is user friendly and anyone can use it.

Avantages :

Its a super good tool comes along with Office 365 package.Users can create business apps easily by selecting the data sources as excel/SharePoint list or any database.Easy customisation of apps.Less coding is required.Microsoft is conducting free sessions to learn the tool.

Inconvénients :

Apps works a bit slow. All the users required a licence to view/use the apps. Supporting materials are very less in the web to explore more.

A Newbie Coder's Dream

Commentaires : I created a "shopping cart" application for the end users in the company to be able to request for specific hardware. I thought I would have to use Power Automate to link all the functions I wanted, but PowerApps had everything I needed!

Avantages :

PowerApps is soo easy to use. It only took me 2 weeks to create a fully functioning application. Once I full grasped the concept, I was really able to enjoy building out an app.

Inconvénients :

When I attempt to write a formula out and get an error, I wish the error stated how the function worked, instead of just stating why it's wrong.

Avantages :

Effective tool for coordinating tasks between disciplines on projects. Easy way to check off items so that team can communicate what's completed and what's remaining.

Inconvénients :

Missing a back button on a few screens that makes navigation more difficult.

Simple apps with little code

Avantages :

Using low code to create apps can rapidly increase productivity by automating internal business processes. We liked the simpleUI canvas and the easy integration with Office 365, mostly Excel and Word.

Inconvénients :

Do not expect fast performance. Do not expect efficient code. Expect simple "prototypes" you can use in the first automation phases. Then ask IT to build a real app.

Infinite possiblities

Commentaires : I like the integration with Adobe Sign and I hope they beef that up.

Avantages :

I had alot of fun playing around with thsi software. The free version that comes with our O365 with standard connections is sufficient for some low key flows.

Inconvénients :

The licensing model is pretty confusing.
