A great tool to find, interview, evaluate and hire talent while being impartial and compliant
Commentaires : All pluses. Once you get past the initial setup (reasonable amount of time), and commit to always using the system, it is super simple and really helpful. If hiring is a big part of your annual responsibilities, this is a very worthwhile tool.
Avantages :
Hireology makes me do all the things I legally need to be doing as well as all of the things I should be doing to truly find and hire the best candidate. Each candidate is evaluated against the same criteria and even asked the same interview questions. Each of these responses is ranked and I end with a score for each applicant, allowing me to find how one applicant did relative to the rest. If I can't be personally involved in the phone and/or in-person interview, I am confident that the person I delegate that to, will still do it nominally the same as I would have. In summary, Hireology creates a hiring system that allows me to consistently and correct find people.
Inconvénients :
There is effort that must be put forth to setup your roles. It takes some time to do right. (Think of it as an investment in how good you would like the candidate to be). Re-hiring for that same role is then super simple. The only other negative is that there are some hiring boards that seem to have found a way to auto-submit their client's information to apply for a job. When we reach out to them, these individuals know nothing about the position and sometimes they still are a reasonable fit and want to interview and sometimes not. I have not seen these auto-applicants in the past few months, so it may have been prevented.

I love the ease of adding new applicants (for job postings) and being able to leave tags and comments on them.

I don't like that when I manually add in a new candidate, it won't allow me to text them without their consent.

Hireology for staffing needs
Commentaires : I wanted to love Hireology, as the concept aligns with what we need. If we chose to try them again, it would have to be for a different type of contract. We lost thousands of dollars.
Avantages :
The Hireology platform was exceptionally easy to use. There was little training needed, as it was user friendly. The text messaging and template feature was also easy to use and allowed for fast contact.
Inconvénients :
I found that our ads were not displayed properly on all job boards. For example, some failed to even have our description, the links often didn't work, a link once took me to a business that wasn't ours, etc. Not only was this frustrating, but our representative failed to take accountability. There were constant excuses and no one ever wanted to make it right for us. For what we paid, I expected the service to top of the line. For the same amount of applicants, I can pay less with Indeed who is the top job board.

Avantages :
Easy to move applicants through the interview process, onboarding is simple and easy to edit candidate profile information. Also like how I can see the process of the onboarding process

We have hireology integrated with our scheduling system, I do not like how it makes duplicate profiles for candidates that apply to more than one job or they are transferred

I read the book "Best Team Wins" by the founder of this company, wish I would have read it much sooner in building our team. The software is based on the principles of the book. Truly helps sort through the applicants, we are hiring fairly fast and furious. It's intuitive - probably more intuitive if you understand the real philosophy of building team and company culture. If you grasp this, you will love it. Also, very easy to post to job boards and even though a bit pricey, it's worth it. Overall it is extremely well thought out. Great software partnerships for testing, skills assessments, background checks and reference checks. Super easy to work in teams for the hiring process - which is essential to hiring great people. Like it enough to come here and post a 5 star review!
Inconvénients :
There are some areas that the software doesn't actually keep up with the typing and you have to wait - like in the question building areas. There are a few typos within the stock emails.

This platform managed to greatly improve our contracting system.
Commentaires : Hireology improved the hiring process exponentially, since previously our contact mechanism with candidates was by email, however, this platform allowed us to have more direct communication and follow-up on each candidate who signed up for our job offer. Hireology allowed us to modify the characteristics of the job position open in our company, it allowed us to place an average salary and the number of work hours required. I loved Hireology, it made it easier and faster for us to recruit new candidates, it made our company grow exponentially with the help of the employees.
Avantages :
Hireology made it possible for us to streamline the overall hiring process. I liked that this platform allowed me to obtain various offers from candidates, since this service is connected with Indeed and Glassdoor, to have a more complete candidate system, it is capable of filtering candidates available on more than 10 job search sites. I really liked the system for scheduling appointments with candidates, even though these appointments cannot be executed online, I consider that this function was essential for us to be able to book an appointment with the candidate and thus interview him correctly. I also liked the job ad creation system, this system allows me to turn ad off and on when I want to search for new candidates, I can search for candidates without having to create a new ad, that's great.
Inconvénients :
Currently this system does not have a function to carry out online interviews, this is very necessary function since there are some candidates who prefer to carry out their interviews without physically showing up at our offices for an interview. The second negative point is that this platform is not capable of offering us candidates who are close to our business location, this causes the search results to be much more extensive and candidates who are not close to our labor office are displayed.
Hireology ATS
Commentaires : We've had some hick ups with the set up because of our sales rep that is no longer there, but other than that it's been a good experience.
Avantages :
I like that the all communication (including hiring managers) it's in one place. Has organic posting that saves us on job postings, able to text candidates, and you can view the candidate work flow stage.
Inconvénients :
It's a cookie cutter system and most of the time you're unable to tailor processes based on our needs.

Great Resource For The Serious Job Seeker
Commentaires : The applicants that we receive from Hireology tend to be the more serious job seekers opposed to those that are just filling out an online application to "look" as though they are job seeking.

Hireology is OK
Commentaires : Overall, Hireology is okay. It is much better than reviewing resumes manually through email or having to log into separate job posting sites. However it is a little expensive and we did not seem to find a large volume of quality candidates when we used it for an entry level accounting position. I think we would have had better luck if it integrated with Indeed.
Avantages :
-Makes candidate tracking more organized -Can integrate with multiple job sites -Candidate profiles were well organized and made resume review much easier than sifting through email attachments
Inconvénients :
-The site is a little clunky when trying to navigate back and forth from individual profiles to the candidate/applicant list -The site did not integrate with Indeed which would be my most preferred job site
My experience with Hireology
Commentaires : went fro being the best way to find applicants to hire to become not effective. I alost feel moey woud be better soent posting on hiring boards such as Indeed with out Hireology's support.

Since they have grown abd become successful they have changed to processes used to contact me. Before I had a personal consultant that understood the nuances to hiring in my business (automotive) now I just talk to a consultant who is not familiar with a car dealership's needs or have to stumble through posting and writing an add on my own
Easy to Use and Background Checks Included
Avantages :
It was easy to set up the hiring process for each job posting and the content for each step. The customer service team was always just a call away and often checked in on me, which was helpful with my busy schedule.
Inconvénients :
Having it integrated with my franchise's job platform would have been helpful to keep all my hiring activity in one place. I would have also liked the ability to post multiple locations for one job description to prevent one applicant from having to apply multiple times for the same job in two different locations. When creating the applicant myself (i.e. uploading the applicant's resume myself), I needed the ability to send the job application separately so they could answer the question about a non-compete with a current and if they were eligible to work in the US on a full-time bases.

Commentaires : I have used Hireology to contact those interested in becoming Caregivers and my experience has been swell. Hireology is my preferred job board of those we use.
Avantages :
The organization features this software provides are excellent and makes contacting applicants super smooth.

It was a little difficult to manage applicants that applied to various positions.

It's very easy to create a job listing and the support when you need assistance is top notch! Being able to track all contact (calls, text, emails) within the system is one of my favorite features as well. Highly recommend Hireology.

Needing to re-write a job ad instead of using a previously created one. Now that I know I can save as a template it's not an issue. But I didn't know that until my rep told me.

Flow of candidates is not high, so the basic subscription is not ideal for emergency hiring.
Great for small organizations
Commentaires : I would be happy to never use this again. It is not a well integrated system because one function does not speak to another. It leads to way more steps for the user.
Avantages :
This software is pretty straightforward as an applicant tracking system if you're using it on a pretty small scale. It's easy to post jobs and also review applicants within this ATS.
Inconvénients :
This software is not always very intuitive. You have to set it up to where there are multiple locations and you're not able to view all openings as an organization. You have to click into each organization and then you can see what new applicants you have. I also do not like that if you upload a candidate you've sourced, it does not parse the information from the resume. It is pretty easy to use, but leads to a lot more steps because it's not well integrated throughout the platform.

Hireology promises strong organic applicants but results are not up to their word. The company seems a little bent on taking down Indeed.
