Avantages :

It's easy to use and setup meetings. Calendar integration makes life easier.

I have a hard time "scheduling" a meeting for future. Typically I just have to schedule it in my calendar, then send an invitation with the dial/join information to those who need to attend.

RingCentral for meetings

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Commentaires : Ringcentral meetings give us the opportunity to connect with our clients in an effective way. Also, it s great to use inside our company to connect our offices over the world.

Avantages :

I´ve been using RingCentral at work since I got hired in the Company. For me it has been an important tool since the majority of our clients are contacted via telephone conferences. Also, ringcentral is very helpful for us because we have 2 main locations Miami and Bogota and we use it to comunicate between both offices the entire day. Ringcentral is very helpful in situations in which you need to connect your clients with people in different offices. Even if you don´t use the video feature you know who is speaking because the name of the person appears in the entire screen (which is super usefull if you are connected which several persons at the same time). I had also use it via cellphone and it is super easy to use, you only need to call a particular number and then mark the code of the meeting, for me this is important in cases when I have a meeting but I´m in the middle of traffic or something similar. Ringcentral also offers you the opportunity to share your screen so everyone in the meeting can see your presentations and you can even give them the control of your screen so they can make changes directly to any document if you need it, we use this feature between the teams in Bogota and Miami and it is super usefull because we can work in several things at the same time.

Inconvénients :

I don´t have any complaints about this software, for me it has been very helpful.

RingCentral Video: A Comprehensive Video Conferencing Solution

5,0 il y a 2 mois Nouveau

Commentaires : I have been using RingCentral Video for the past few months and have been very impressed. The audio and video quality are top-notch and the user interface is easy to navigate. I love that I can seamlessly integrate RingCentral Video with other RingCentral products, making collaboration and communication a breeze.

Avantages :

RingCentral Video offers an impressive array of features and tools that make video conferencing and collaboration a breeze. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the audio and video quality are excellent. The system integrates seamlessly with other RingCentral products and services, allowing users to enjoy a seamless, unified communications experience.

Inconvénients :

RingCentral Video does not have a mobile app, which is a bit of a letdown as more people are relying on their smartphones for work. Additionally, the pricing plans can be a bit on the pricey side.

Not a big fan

2,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Everyone knows Zoom, so RingCentral bundling that product with their VoIP services seems like a deal. It isn't in my opinion. The RingCentral client is clunky and has constant updates that need applied. They are replacing this with another internal tool, but, unless you have no other options, this would not be a top pick.

Avantages :

This comes bundled with VoIP subscriptions with RingCentral, it's Zoom - rebranded and with fewer features

Inconvénients :

Your participants must install a RingCentral Meetings client. Web participants have no features. Not an easy to use tool like Meet or Zoom. If all of your participants are using the same solution, then it isn't as frustrating. However, most people in the world prefer to use more common apps, and don't want to

Outstanding Experience with RingCentral Video

5,0 il y a 2 mois

Commentaires : I have been using RingCentral Video for a few months now and have had a great experience overall. The interface is user friendly and the quality of the video and sound is clear. It is also really easy to set up and use.

Avantages :

RingCentral Video is a great video conferencing tool that is easy to use, with a fast connection, and great quality sound and video.

Inconvénients :

The one downside to RingCentral Video is that it can be a bit expensive for businesses with more than a few users.

Ringcentral Video: A Comprehensive Review of its Pros and Cons

5,0 le mois dernier Nouveau

Avantages :

I have found the software to be highly functional and user-friendly. One of the things I like most about Ringcentral video is its robust set of features, which include high-quality video and audio, screen sharing, and the ability to host large meetings with up to 1000 participants. Additionally, the software is highly integrated with Ringcentral's other communication tools, making it a seamless experience for users. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy for people to join and participate in meetings, and the platform is highly reliable, ensuring that meetings run smoothly. Overall, Ringcentral video has been a great tool for our organization, helping us stay connected and productive, even when working remotely.

Inconvénients :

I can say that while the software has many useful features and has been overall reliable, there are a few things I do not like about it. One issue is the occasional glitches and freezes during calls, which can disrupt the flow of the meeting and be frustrating for participants. Additionally, there have been some reports of poor audio quality, which can negatively impact the overall experience for users. Overall, while Ringcentral video has its strengths, it is not without its flaws.

Commentaires : Overall it has been good with the meeting/conference portion working out great.

Avantages :

It was implemented right at the start of the pandemic and it did a great job filling the gap with everyone working remotely.

Inconvénients :

The biggest issue I have had is with answering calls. I will click on the button to answer maybe 6 times and still the call won't be answered sometimes, while other times it answers on the first click.

Classic, Not Fancy, Dependable Video Conference/Webinar/Online Meeting Platform

5,0 il y a 4 semaines Nouveau

Avantages :

It accommodates a large number of attendees and has a less busy interface during presentations. For example, the chat box/questions features do not take up as much space as they do on other platforms. It is dependable- I've never had a connection issue with RingCentral vide.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't have the pizazz of its competitors, so you risk looking outdated if you invite people to a RingCentral conference. Also, since it's not frequently used across a wide range of platforms, invitees may have to download the app/software to use it the first time. I have also had it not load when I've needed it, and had to uninstall and reinstall it.

Glip is the most effective productivity tool I've ever used to date (despite its shortcomings).

4,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : See review.

Avantages :

Glip is an [almost] all-in-one, [almost] unified productivity tool takes a bunch of what I liked about Asana's task-management, and combines it with the instant messaging functionality of Slack. Glip makes team communication, collaboration, and task/project management as simple as instant messaging. Whereas Asana begins and revolves around task-management, Glip begins with conversation, which is a much more organic way to collaborate, I think. Glip excels in its instant messaging, which does more than just the usual chat. In addition to allowing users to easily communicate with their teams and co-workers, Glip's desktop app allows you to create and assign tasks, create and share (and annotate) notes and documents, schedule events, and attach files from your preferred cloud service...all through its instant messenger. Pretty snazzy. The mobile app is a significantly paired-down version of the desktop app, but again, it excels at instant messaging - very response, keeps you connected to your teams...just with less functionality. Overall, I definitely recommend Glip.

Inconvénients :

While there are a few things here and there that need to be addressed, it's Glip's calendar that hurts the experience for me. To put it simply - Glip's calendar is inadequate. More specifically, the calendar fails in its ability to effectively schedule recurring tasks and events. While it does allow for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly scheduling, it does not allow for more specific intervals. For example, our organization has an evening staff meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of every month - we can't schedule it Glip. As much as I want to use the Glip calendar personally, it's shortcomings force me to use the ever-faithful Google Calendar...which means, it's not really an all-in-one solution (which is supposed to be Glip's hook!). My suggestion to the Glip team is to look at what Google Calendar does as far as scheduling is concerned and copy it! As far as the mobile experience is concerned, my two biggest gripes are 1) the 7-day calendar (seriously, why?); and 2) the inability to sort/filter tasks. Aside from the above, it's just ok. As mentioned previously, it's definitely not as full-featured as the desktop app...but, since instant messaging is Glip's primary function, it does that trick just fine.

Reliable, but a bit dated

4,0 il y a 4 ans

Avantages :

RingCentral is pretty much the same as Zoom so you might expect similar functionality and familiar interface. I've been using it for more than a year now daily for video calls and it's been pretty reliable even for larger calls of 50+ people. Audio/video lags are quite rare and there is an option to call in using phone which solves audio issues completely when they occur. Screen sharing works well, it has support for multiple screens. There's record and chat functionality built in. Apps for mobile devices are offered and work well (I've used the iOS version.) Lately they've added support for Linux, so all desktop operating systems are covered.

Inconvénients :

The design feels a bit dated and it the app might be a bit intimidating for users coming from simple video call solutions like Google Hangouts, Skype, or FaceTime. It requires a bit of getting used to, but nothing more that is not present in other enterprise-grade conferencing software.

Glip also known as just RingCentral

4,0 il y a 4 ans

Commentaires : We use Glip as a communications tool for multiple departments across our business. It has been a great tool for organizing our conversations by group and allowing us to keep a history of our conversations, which our previous chat program had a 10,000 message limit to the history shown.

Avantages :

We really enjoy using the built in gif search in Glip. It is a useful chat program that is easy to use. It helps us organize our conversations by group so that if our website developers are having a discussion about something, it does not get interrupted by the data teams conversation on a different topic. It has a phone app so you can stay connected to the chat group even while on the go, which is useful for after hour and weekend conversations.

Inconvénients :

One of the things I do not like about Glip is that the Windows notifications are sometimes delayed and do not come up for a minute or more. It is helpful to be able to see the notifications when I get a new message because I do not always have the tab with Glip open in my browser.

Excellent video conferencing platform

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : It's a good platform and reasonably priced. It was quick and easy to integrate into our organization (full disclosure: we were using RingCentral prior to really relying on the video conferencing function, so our team was already familiar with the system). Excellent option for small to mid-size businesses. Possibly larger businesses too, but I can't speak to that.

Avantages :

System was easy to use, and integrated well into our organization. We had previously engaged RingCentral for all our telephonic needs, so the learning curve was pretty flat. Nevertheless, it was an easy function to implement and roll out.

Inconvénients :

Occasionally the audio/video quality wasn't the best, but that might be more related to some of the rural areas we operate in, and the network capabilities that we are forced to deal with.

Excellent Zoom Option

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I have used RC for meetings, presentations, personal connections, and for ease of connecting with business prospects. It is rare to have an issue using RC and I would more likely chalk up any problems to my internet connection, rather than RC. When they fix the clarity of the backgrounds it will be even better.\

Avantages :

There is a lot to recommend with RC. I enjoy the automatic recording, the consistency of service, the multiple features.

Inconvénients :

The virtual backgrounds are not as crisp as I would like. Navigating through the program is not as intuitive as I'd like - granted, I'm older and less tech-savvy than my kids are.

Too much access!

5,0 il y a 3 ans

Commentaires : Id rather not use this in my company. It has taken so much time away due to the frequent use of the supervisors. its great for the occasional meeting but not so much for day to day useage.

Avantages :

I do like the fact I can see my employees F2F during important meetings no matter if im 2000 miles away.

Inconvénients :

I feel that the company has overused this software. It has turned from encouraging phone calls to instant F2F meetings every 10 mins. I know its not the softwares fault but the company has turned me sour. We use this every hour on the hour which doesnt leave much time left to tend to my stores.

Glip has Revolutionized Our Workflow and Communication

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Avantages :

Excellent messaging features, including practical things like tagging people, keyboard shortcuts, and inline attachment previews, as well as fun features like GIF's and Memes. Where Glip really stands out from the competition however is in its productivity features, and how easy it is to manage tasks, teams, notes, and calendar. Very versatile and accessible anywhere, as there are phone, desktop, and web apps all available. Vibrant, responsive community and support.

Inconvénients :

Honestly can't think of any drawbacks to the software at this time.

Easy virtual meetings

4,0 il y a 4 ans

Commentaires : For quick, impromptu meetings and how-to sessions, I love the simplicity of RingCentral Meetings. I use it all the time to show others how to accomplish a task with screen share. It's a big time saver and easy to use.

Avantages :

RingCentral Meetings offers easy meeting capability. There's nothing fancy here, but if your needs are modest, you can't ask for an easier solution. It integrates wonderfully with Outlook, allowing you to schedule meetings by clicking a button on the Outlook ribbon, and RingCentral Meetings loads all the information you and your participants will need to join (number, meeting URL, etc). Starting a meeting from the app is as easy as pushing a button, and the interface offers screen sharing, chatting, and whiteboarding. There is really nothing beyond that, but if that's all you need, it's simplicity will be welcome.

Inconvénients :

Figuring out which screen you are sharing can be challenging when you are using a multiple-monitor setup. And sometimes the app opens several windows with a meeting, causing confusion when trying to locate the meeting controls.

File sharing, video conferencing, task assignment and group messaging; all for free with RingCentral.

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Avantages :

Everyone in our office uses Glip because it's bundled with RingCentral and that's our unified communications solution. File sharing, starting calls or video meetings, creating and assigning tasks, groups of as many or few team members as you need - I don't know if there's anything groundbreaking here, but it is all included in one app, it IS all essential, and if you're a RingCentral customer it's 100% free.

Inconvénients :

My preference would be for synchronization between Glip's calendar and Google's to be a two way street. But although you can upload your Google calendar to Glip, the extra functionality within Glip prohibits updates there from syncing back to Google.

Glip is the best for Organization & Planning!

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : Being able to keep track of information in one place. And you can go back to it later.. instead of emailing yourself or texting people.. that stuff gets lost.

Avantages :

The 3 'tier' system. You can click on a task and have a conversation only about that task.. it will appear in the 3rd tier... or the 'shelf'. You can copy images very fast and paste them right in a conversation.

Inconvénients :

It has a bit of a learning curve. It works best if you design it for YOU. For example.. 'TEAMS'.. Can be anything. At first, you try to make a team of people... but I decided to just make it the main topic or subject. Then, Under that TEAM.. I could make a task, event... etc.

Easy to use with other companies - Simple and straightforward.

4,0 il y a 3 ans

Commentaires : We have been able to join Webinars from all over and have seemless meetings with different companies who have different software than we normally use within the company. This also lets us schedule times and keep appointments.

Avantages :

This is something we see a lot with other companies doing a teleconference with us. They send us the link through RingCentral and we follow easy instructions to get into the webinar and then it works well. The fact that it syncs with the Microsoft Outlook calendar is useful as well! There aren't too many features so it's simple enough to learn and use without having any previous experience with it. Simple and straightforward. Easy to use!

Inconvénients :

The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't feel familiar. A lot of programs, although you've never seen them before feel more intuitive and familiar to use. This doesn't have that. It's very easy to use and integrate, but the FEEL is more utilitarian than what most users like.

Commentaires : Overall my experience with ring central is very positive it allows me to provide more quality insurance and 100% customer satisfaction as well as allow one phone to become a switchboard

Avantages :

What I like most about ring central is that it allows for our company to record to provide quality assurance as well as the ability for our clients to leave voice messages we can also transfer calls and do various input/output processes for the phone system

Inconvénients :

What I like least about the system is there are some glitches such as even though phones are transferred at times call still go through the wrong input/extension and we have to further critique it through customize services

Reliable video conferences

4,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Overall our organization would have had a much harder time over the last 12 months had it not been for this software.

Avantages :

When we moved all of our meetings to happen online instead of in the office, we started using the video side of RingCentral since we already had it rather than looking at a new option. Although it's a separate application from the phone side of things, the fact that it has the same name as the software we already use for phone calls gave a sense of familiarity to most staff.

Inconvénients :

I wish that there were more options available to hosts and that the options that the host does have were more accessible to them rather than being hidden in menus.
