The reports that you receive will help you with making price point decisions on a day to day based from an operations standpoint.

Inconvénients :

I quit using the system and continued to get billed for up to a year afterwards...I might still be getting billed and annoying emails as though I was still a user.

Best in Class

Avantages :

Ihotelier is very advanced and offers a lot of advanced features, ideal for medium and large hotels. It integrates perfectly with other Travelclick products. Ihotelier customer support is outstanding.

Inconvénients :

Some of the features are a little bit more complicated to understand than those of their competitors. However, once you get the hang of it it all works great.

Avantages :

iHotelier is simple and easy to use but full of important data. iHotelier makes reservation management a breeze and the customer support that comes with the product is top notch.

Inconvénients :

There is a lag time when receiving OTA reservations, making reservations in house or through the Booking Engine. Sometimes it it 8 seconds other times it is 1 minute. The difference in seconds is crucial to prevent overbookings.

Commentaires : Unimpressed. But not sure if it was the software or the company overall. But definitely felt like there were a lot of gotchas on the billing statements.

Avantages :

Appears powerful, if you have a techie working for you or you have the time to re-train yourself every time you have to use it.

Inconvénients :

Support was hot and cold in their responsiveness. I quit using the system and continued to get billed for up to a year afterwards...I might still be getting billed and annoying emails as though I was still a user.

Versatility

Commentaires : We have a one stop shop for all of our online reservations. It streamlines OTAs, web reservations, GDS reservations & allows complex reporting for revenue management.

Avantages :

It has come a long way with new features & options!

Inconvénients :

The Group functionality is lacking. We have reached out to TC many times in regards to developments within the Groups function of iHotelier.

Adding new users to this softer is a little confusing. Wish it was a little more user friendly. Had to call the help number to walk me through it.

Commentaires : It is an essential tool for an independent property. Having been a franchisee since purching our business we were fearful of losing business by going independent. iHotelier has assisted us to ensure all of our connections are in place and we have total control, and we have seen our business grow.

Avantages :

The set up and integration team were totally professional and led us through a seamless process. They made it clear what steps to take, and were responsive queries. It was daunting to start with, but they stepped us through it with relative ease and were happy to explain things two or three times if we required them to.

Inconvénients :

It's back end is a bit clunky and the menus not all that easy to follow.

Software does the job - support and staff structure - not so good.

Commentaires : It is average. They are competitive in their fee structures but slide on support if you need it.

Avantages :

Integration to a vast number of channels with consistency.

Inconvénients :

Getting support from this organization is very difficult. Slow and often drop the ball. Having to ask multiple times for help. Seems to be frazzled and doesn't get better as they buy up more companies.

It was an overall great product for my hotel.

Commentaires : It was very easy to use and to set up.

Avantages :

The software was very easy to install and even easier to use. Some of my employees are not the best with technology but even they could figure it out.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes it would shut down or close out without warning. That could be due to the internet but either way it was a little annoying.

Very easy to use

Avantages :

Interface was very user friendly and helped my company gain a much needed competitive edge. Wonderful results

Inconvénients :

Seemed to lag occasionally even with the most robust of internet connections commercially available.
