The tool is very easy to use and customize to your needs.
There's not a lot that I don't like about the software. LIke I mentioned before, the update was very confusing at first but our account manager walked us through.

Great Service
Commentaires : Very easy to use and able to provide information on a lot of our candidates we wouldn't be able to get during an interview. Some of the assessments even help you determine areas of strengths and weaknesses of a candidate and where to focus your questions for interview.
Avantages :
They have great customer service from start to finish. There was always a clear representative throughout sales and I was passed on to an account manager who handled our training and any question we had. It makes things easy. I also love how the sales rep and then account manager always have contact information on the site so you can always reach out easily with questions. They are always helpful when you reach out.
Inconvénients :
We are a healthcare company and some of the assessments are not as specific to out positions, but there is the capability to add your own assessments. The account manager did try to help us find assessments that fit our needs.
Another tool in the tool box
Commentaires : Customer service has been outstanding. Representatives are very responsive.
Avantages :
Online skills testing and one-way interviews help us to narrow down our applicant pool. This system is fairly easy to set-up and is user friendly.
Inconvénients :
We needed the ability to do some additional customizations that are not yet available.

Essential in the hiring process
Commentaires : The business is exceptional to use as it provides clear communication with the ability to have regular meetings with representatives, to discuss challenges that we may be facing with the software.
Avantages :
Customer service is excellent with strong communication throughout the entire process.
Inconvénients :
Difficulty when creating assessments as it was more complex than expected, however after spending some time completing the process it became much more straightforward.

Good Basic Assessments
Commentaires : We have used these tests for candidates we are considering bringing into the company and they have been helpful. They have been easy to get to the candidates and we haven't had any complaints from candidates in regards to accessing the tests. They do provide an additional data point for candidates. We have also used these tests to gauge skills for current employees. They have been helpful in designing development plans.
Avantages :
Wide variety of skills and personality type assessments. They are easily administered online via an email and a link. Results are available online as well.
Inconvénients :
It would be helpful to be able to view the actual questions and potential answers to the tests prior to assignment of the tests. There is a description of what the test is measuring, but being able to see the content would give you a much better idea of the method behind the test.

Easy to use, highly responsive team, great features and the right price point.
Inconvénients :
The job families could be a bit more expansive, but we've used similar roles to meet our needs just fine or have customized our own assessments.

The facility to share links and create custom test batteries!
Inconvénients :
The candidate cannot take the same assessment twice without having to go and change a setting, also, there should be more specific tests.

Recruitment Superhero - Criteria
Commentaires : Criteria plays a vital role in our recruitment process and definitely rely on the assessment results. 90% of our job depends on criteria results. So basically Criteria helps us finding the right candidate that fits our organization and the position.
Avantages :
The accurate results that is playing a major role in our recruitment process. We get the opportunity to learn more about the candidates efficiency and skills.

Helps the HR team reduce a tremendous amount of time by sorting and identifying top candidates and discarding unqualified applicants.

A must in the interview process

Ability to find talent in non traditional ways.

Most assessments must be done on a computer and not a phone.

Great platform and Wonderful Customer Service
Avantages :
My company has used Criteria for just over 5 years. I love the various assessments we are able to choose from. I love that the assessments have explanations of their rank in terms of overall candidates. This gives us a better idea of how well the candidate may perform or not perform at work. The customer service with the company has been amazing. They are always willing to answer questions, reach out frequently to check on us, and if an issues arises, they are quick to work on a solution.
Inconvénients :
There has not been too much I do not like about Criteria.

Fantastic Tool for Assessemnts
Avantages :
The assessments currently offered by Hireselect are fantastic. We have found the Employee Personality Profile and Aptitude assessments particularly useful in providing critical insights into our candidate's work style, ability to problem solve, learn new information, and their current skill level. The tool is very easy to use and customize to your needs. We often use the suggested interview questions that come as a result of a candidate's employee personality profile to help our new managers ask behavioral based questions. The customer service is always prompt and thorough, and implementation was easy. We also have taken advantage of the customized test maker feature to survey our new hires at various milestones in their on-boarding. Having the assessment scores and survey responses housed in one tool has saved us time and effort.
Inconvénients :
The only short-coming is the possibilities with the self-service reporting/data. More options to customize your reporting would be great. However, this is not something that is hindering enough to deter us from continuing to use hireselect.
Pre-Interview Testing is a blessing!
Commentaires : HireSelect saves me time and money! It also saves the applicant time and money by not wasting their time on non-productive interviews or enough worse, a serious mismatch on career selection.
Avantages :
HireSelect lets me choose a wide range of tests that upon completion will provide me with a better insight as to the value each applicant can provide. Different positions require different skills and HireSelect does not lock me into a one-size-fits-all testing program. I make the decisions on what traits, skills, intelligence, education, etc. are most important for each position I am looking to fill. A number of these tests have a built-in truth detector that is triggered if an applicant strays from fact into fiction!
Inconvénients :
HireSelect is a fantastic resource. I have no complaints, no least-liked features, etc. I value the entire package!
A Great Way of Qualifying Applicants
Avantages :
I like how Criteria clearly shows how an applicant is rated based on their answers, and helps us to more easily determine whether an applicant should be moved onto the next step of our hiring process.
Inconvénients :
The only con, I see is that it doesn't have a perfectly seamless integration with our applicant tracking system. (Example: if an applicant needs to have the assessment sent a 2nd time, the score doesn't show up in the ATS)

Commentaires : Making sound hiring decisions is critical in our environment due to the learning curve, we simply do not have the organizational structure to support those that are unable to work autonomously and take the initiative to learn and seek answers to their questions through a wide variety of tools built and revised over 25 years.
Avantages :
There is nothing that I do not like about this software! It has proven to be invaluable when looking at our retention metrics and the hiring manager's love it for career development as well.

I am unable to make any recommendations as the software meets our needs and has exceeded our expectations.

Scientifically validated, easily distributed to applicants, high quality results and UI.
Inconvénients :
Not adapted to international market, all the benchmarking tools focus on the US.
Added Value
Commentaires : Good people, good product, good support. No complaints!
Avantages :
We use 3 of the testing modules for every applicant (specific positions) that we gain interest in, after our initial screenings. The results are easy to review and digest, which gives us an added tool to help in our selection process.
Inconvénients :
Honestly, I have zero complaints or suggestions here.

The software improved the organizational mindset about being consistent with the hiring process. Also, the assessments are very easy to execute for our employees and candidates.
Inconvénients :
There are not any negatives that come to mind.
HireSelect helps me screen and find the best applicants to hire.
Commentaires : The typing test and computer proficiency test helps me weed out unqualified candidates quickly and easily. I can also evaluate aptitude with the Criteria Cognitive Test, and I can see a correlation between that score and quality of work.
Avantages :
The variety of assessments help me choose the best fit for each position. I can evaluate a number of different levels, aptitude, personality, or specific skills.
Inconvénients :
If I wanted to integate the results with my ATS, I would need to upgrade to a fancier package. Now, the price is cheap for the service, but I don't know why I would have to upgrade just for an integration.
Great tool for evaluating candidates

The software is easy to use. It integrates with our applicant tracking software and it provides very useful insights.
Inconvénients :
There is nothing we dislike about this software.
Excellent Product
Commentaires : Criteria has allowed us a great tool to qualify candidates to progress through or be removed from our hiring process.
Avantages :
Consistent and easy to use. Provides us a good method to reduce the amount of candidates in a fair way. The ability to select different tests for different jobs. And, the ability to create our own tests to use for promotional purposes.
Inconvénients :
There are so many features. Sometimes you have to drill down a few menus to get to some of the details.
Enjoying the information and the additional support in our screening process
Commentaires : I love the price, I love the product, I love the information. My executive team also really enjoys this product which is a huge win. I will absolutely remain a HireSelect customer.
Avantages :
I like all of the additional information given outside of the numerical scores the most. It allows me to make the most informed choice rather than simply going off the summary score.
Inconvénients :
I do not enjoy the integration with Jazz HR that much. I automate a lot of the routine steps so that I can spend the most time on the phone or communicating with the candidate. Since I automate the use of Hire Select Assessments, it only sends out the link, and therefore, does not automatically attach finished assessments to my candidates' profiles. I have to prioritize manually uploading my candidates' results via email.

HireSelect Goes Above and Beyond
Commentaires : The algorithm for our hiring has improved over time, thanks to an annual correlation study conducted in conjunction with HireSelect. Utilizing HireSelect test results in tandem with our company's internal employment metrics like turnover, attendance and work performance, we have changed our testing requirements to achieve better quality and longer-tenured candidates.
Avantages :
The customer support for HireSelect is excellent. I can always count on my account representative to handle everything we need in a timely and professional manner.
Inconvénients :
The new layout takes a little time to get used to but has improved significantly over time.
Provides great insight to our hiring process
Avantages :
I love using Criteria to get more objective data points about candidates before we make a hire. We consistently use their assessments to better understand a candidates capabilities and if they have the personality traits that will allow them to succeed in their roles. I highly recommend Criteria to anyone that wants to add an online assessment product to their hiring process.
Inconvénients :
No major cons! The product does what we need it to do!
